As promised from the previous chapter, it is time for Lori to see the dream college that has accepted her, time to see Fairway University and also run into some good pals there, and a heart to heart moment between two sisters, a whole new outtake from the episode "Don't you Fore-get about me." Chapter 168: To Fairway...
(March 9. Somewhere not too far from Great Lakes City.)
Welcome, to Fairway University. A prestige college about good education, advanced learning, but mostly Golf! Yeah, it's just about a lot of golf and for some reason the founder was Ben Franklin, and that he played golf... Okay, that is something I didn't know about.
Then two vehicles arrive, and the folks inside come out and they are: Lori, Leni, Luna, Lincoln, Michelle and Jordan. The Rosato parents and Carol Pingrey are helping watch over the younger louds.
The group enter Fairway, but they are surprised to see some folks they know are here. They are Carlos Casagrande, Sid Chang and Ronnie Anne Santiago and then Michelle asks. "What the heck are you guys doing here at Fairway University?"
Carlos answers her question. "I am here to perform a guest lecture on the measurements and facts on Bermuda grass and it's utility to make an eco-friendly golf course. If anyone wishes to see it,then I will be at hall B." He then takes his leave.
Lori then asks Ronnie Anne. "So, I literally recall that I got a text from Bobby that he was supposed to be here and see this, where is he?"
Ronnie Anne sighs. "Sorry, but he couldn't make it. He's stuck on the Mercado floor." she shows them the photo of Bobby, and he literally is stuck on the floor in the Mercado. Apparently the glue from the shelves fell, and scattered and now he is stuck.
Lori sighs. "Oh dear, I hope he does get out because that looks like it'll be hard to remove."
Luna sees the image. "He just needs some water on him that kinda glue comes off from water."
Sid then answers. "Ronnie Anne and I are here to make some awesome skate videos here, and see if we can improve our skills since a big skate board contest is inbound. You and Jordan can come along."
Lincoln and Jordan smile, and they have their bikes and then they look towards Michelle and she smiles and nods. "But be back after an hour, we're having lunch at that time." Lincoln and Jordan have their bikes and so they head off with Ronnie Anne and Sid to see where they can try their skills, starting with the sand trap.
Michelle, Lori, Leni and Luna then see the guy who will be touring them around the place. "Hi there folks, and welcome to Fairway University. I'm you're tour guide, Raj. We'll be puttering around the campus together." Lori smirks to the pun, but the others didn't know what that means. "Now, which one of you is the famous Lori Loud?"
Lori then shakes hands with the guy. "I heard all about you from Coach Niblick. He said that you are the most promising golfer he has seen in a long time. Now, let's get this tour stared." They then follow the tour guide and see what this college is all about.
They pass by Wedge Hall and see a lot of students doing some studying and practicing with their swings, and Lori is glad that the uniform is what normal golfers would wear. But turns out, it is not a uniform, it is the clothing the students like to wear.
They then see the grassy fields where the golf goes down, with 18 holes, par 72, and 3 putting grids, and they see Lincoln, Jordan, Ronnie Anne and Jordan doing some tricks near the water trap and then they manage to avoid the sand trap.
They go to the freshmen hall and see the bathroom which Lori will be sharing with 9 other women, which has three sinks, and they don't notice the others skate by and do some tricks and avoid collision with ease.
Michelle, Leni and Luna can see the stars and joy in Lori's eyes, because this college was meant for her, and Michelle is proud of Lori to find her dream college.
As they leave the freshmen hall. Leni then pulls Lori to the side. "Leni, what the heck are you doing?"
Leni sighs. "Lori, I am so happy that you have found the college that you have always dreamed of, and I wanna wish you the best of luck and the best time here when the time comes to see you go. But, I have had these issues of what happens when you aren't around, and it scares me, you know?"
"I will miss you when you come here, I don't want you to leave, but I need to accept it and let you choose your own path, because this college is literally the path to the bright and amazing future that you have sought out for. You have been my first best friend, and I will miss you."
Lori smiles hearing this and she wipes away a tear. "Leni, I am not leaving just yet. We can still spend time together, and even if we are far away from each other, we will always be best friends, sisters and family. I know that when I do leave, you will be a good big sister, with Luna helping. I can truly count on you, Leni."
Leni nods, and she sheds some tears, and then the two sisters hug it out.
They don't know, that Michelle, Luna and the tour guide sees this, and it is so touching and sweet. But deep down, even Michelle feels bad that Lori has to leave for college, but she is happy for her. They then head off with Lori and Leni and continue the tour, but Lori still has one issue.
'I need to try and make it up to Jordan again, she knows a lot of the stuff I have done, along with the others. Perhaps, another day to spend together would work, but when should I do it?'
Meanwhile, Lincoln, Jordan, Ronnie Anne and Sid finish their skills and tricks on wheels, and so they go to the nearby bench and sit down, and then Jordan hands them some bottles of water which they drink. "Now that was awesome and we nailed it all."
Sid smirks. "Dang right, this place really has an excellent way to improve our skills on skate boards and bikes. You two plan to compete in some big bike contest?"
Lincoln chuckles. "No, we're not. But we can show these moves and tricks to Lynn, she competes in bike contests, and aims to win. She could make some improvements for her own styles." Then he asks. "So what the heck has been going on in Great Lakes City?"
Ronnie Anne answers that one. "Sid and I were trying to earn money by waking dogs and it didn't go so well, and during the night time zoo tour, Carl snuck out and tried to feed the Komodo dragon, only to almost get eaten."
Sid then asks. "Speaking of which, why didn't you guys show up for it?"
Jordan answers. "Sorry gals, but we had other plans. Maybe next time we can come and see this zoo night time tour."
Lincoln then asks. "Girls, what of that creep who tried to ask Luna and me?"
Sid then answers. "Jim Sparkletooth? He hasn't bothered filming for his stupid show, after he made some trouble happen. You can say, that he is on a hiatus for what he did and the TV stations don't seem to bother to let him be back on. He is in neck deep trouble."
Ronnie Anne speaks. "We have no clue what he's been doing. All we do know, his previous show was investigating the local fish market, but my Abuela dealt with him."
As they keep talking, they don't know that Jim Sparkletooth is hiding outside the wall, and he sees them. 'Just you two wait, I will get the Dirty Secret form you and who cares if Lincoln and Luna Loud are ruined, when I get the true dirty secret then I will be back on top and it will be the best episode ever!'
