Hi Readers: Sorry for the long delay in between these chapters. However, I had to go have a nice meal; a meal that I really enjoyed but now, I am back and ready to continue writing this nice story for you guys. A story that I hope you guys are enjoying. Now, what do you say we get back to the story? Here we go with Chapter Forty-Two, another chapter with the Halsteads.

Chapter Forty-Two
Halstead Home, Kailua – She decided that she needed to do something to relax, something other than just breathe and sit down in bed. And while she could definitely ask Jay to give her a massage, that wasn't what she wanted to do right now as he was making her one of her favorite meals. So, she decided to do something else for herself, something that will help her relax. And let's just say that it was something that Jay would love to be doing with her, as she was currently taking a bath. A nice bath with some jets, which gave her everything that she needed right now. Not only did it give her a massage (a bit), but it also relaxed all of the muscles; the muscles that were all tense ever since she had a fight with her father, which also brought on some doubts. Doubts that she was going to have to talk to Jay about. And just what doubts might that be? Doubts that she even wants her father to be here right now, when he's just bringing what she doesn't need at the moment; and that was stress. She can't have stress right now, because she's pregnant with their girls.
Girls that she and Jay are going to love more than anything, and whom Alex just can't wait to see her husband hold; it's going to be the best sight in the entire world, and Alex is going to be so happy when she sees it. And the truth is, she things that Jay is going to like it too. He's going to like the feeling of his daughter all cuddled up to him, and the feeling of her little hand on his chest. She can already see Jay cuddling up to her in a way that's going to be absolutely adorable, and that he's going to want to do more than anything; and she also bets that the moment her brother-in-law sees Jay holding his daughter like that, then he's going to tell Natalie that he wants a baby. That he wants to try and have a baby soon, so that he can have that experience. And the truth is Alex is really interested in seeing what a Will-Natalie baby would look like, because she wonders whether he would have red hair like his father; or whether he/she would have hair like her mother. But right now, that was not what she needed to dream about. She needed dream of them.
Their girls. The girls that she and Jay are going to love more than anything, especially Jay. She just can't see Jay not being the best father in the entire world, and she truly can't wait to see him being a dad. Heck, she even thinks that he's going to be a better father than her own father. God, just the way he treats her sometimes is horrible; and she is so glad that she finally got that all out. She just hopes that she doesn't loose him after what they said to him. As much as she hates her father for what he did to her, she still can't imagine a life that doesn't include him in it. But right now, that isn't what she wants to be thinking about. Rather, she wants to be thinking about the sight that just came into the washroom. And just what sight might that be? The sight of her towel clad husband as he walked into the bathroom this morning. Looking at her dreamy husband as he walked in, Alex smiled at him. "Hey, what are you doing here? I thought that you were in the kitchen making some food." Jay smiled as he looked at his gorgeous wife.
"I was thinking about it, and I think that I really need to be here right now; that I need to be with my wife, and that she needs me to hold her in my arms." Alex agreed with Jay when he said that, before smirking as she watched him walk up to her at the bath. After which, Jay proceeded to sit down on the edge of the bath; smiling at his beautiful wife, Jay smirked due to the fact that he was really happy at the moment. And that was especially the case when Alex is naked in the bath right now. "You like the sight?" Jay smirked as he heard Alex ask him that, before putting his hand on her neck; after which, Jay leaned in and proceeded to kiss his beautiful wife softly. Taking things slow with the woman he loves, Jay smirked due to the fact that this is exactly what he wants to do right now. He wants to share a sweet kiss with his beautiful wife, as they held each other close; whether it be in bed, or in the bath. "So, I was going to make you some food. But I heard you in the bath, and hoped I could join you." Alex agreed with Jay, smiling at her hunky husband.
"Oh, I most definitely want you to join me in the bath." Jay smirked when he heard Alex tell him that, as that was something that he was glad that he just heard; and he most certainly was going to give her exactly what she wants right now, and that's him in the bath with her. Leaning over her again, Jay smiled as he proceeded to kiss the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you." Alex agreed with her dreamy husband when he told her that, smiling as she loved him too. "I love you too, and I am so glad that we're home." Jay agreed with Alex when she said that, as that was definitely something that he couldn't argue with. He's glad that he's home with her too, and that they are just relaxing with each other; and that's due to the fact that it's exactly what they both need to do. Getting up, Jay smirked as he proceeded to take off his towel this morning before going to hang it up on the hook next to Alex's towel. And that prompted Alex to stare at her gorgeous, naked husband as he stood there. "Oh, now that's so damn sexy." Jay agreed.
"You want to know something that's going to be ever sexier?" Alex agreed with Jay when he asked her that, before watching as Jay smirked at her. "Me joining you in the bath." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, smiling as she proceeded to get up; afterwards, Jay reached out so that he could grab her hand. Grabbing his hand, Alex smiled as she got up; after which, Jay helped her stand in the bath before smiling as he proceeded to get close to the woman he loves. He then wrapped his arms around Alex, smiling as he leaned in and proceeded to kiss the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you." Alex agreed with Jay when he said that he loves her, because she most definitely knows that he loves her; she always knows that he loves her, and that he'll always love her. Just looking into Alex's eyes this morning, Jay smiled as he leaned in and kissed her softly. "I love you." Alex agreed with Jay (again), before smiling at him. "I love you too. Now, are you going to get into the bath with me? Or am I going to have to beg?"
Jay shook his head when Alex asked him whether she's going to have to beg him to get in the bath, especially when he wants to hold her in his lap as they cuddle up to each other. Getting in the bath with her just like she wants, Jay smiled as he proceeded to sit down in the bath for his wife. At the same time, Alex turned around and looked at her dreamy husband; after which, she proceeded to sit down in his lap and just cuddled up to him. Wrapping her arms around Jay's torso shortly after cuddling up to him, Alex smiled as this was perfect; after all, it was exactly what she wanted to do with her husband right now. Moving his hand to Alex's back shortly after getting comfortable in the bath, Jay smiled as he rubbed it while feeling Alex cuddle up to him; at the same time, Jay wrapped his legs around hers and then turned his head to kiss her forehead softly. Laying her head down, Alex smiled as she was extremely comfortable in Jay's arms. Afterwards, Jay proceeded to grab some of the soap that they have on the side of the bath. He then went to wash Alex.
Smiling as Jay started to wash her, Alex decided to just cuddle up to him. "Jay?" Looking down at Alex, Jay smiled. "Yeah baby?" Alex just took a breath. "Am I being too hard on my dad right now?" Jay sighed as he heard Alex ask him that, before proceeding to kiss her forehead softly; after all, this was the last thing that he wanted Alex to think about right now. Rather than think about her dad, he wants her to just concentrate on relaxing; he wants her to concentrate on taking it easy, and just concentrating on herself and the babies. "Alex, you really don't need to concentrate on that right now. Right now, you need to relax; and you need to take it easy. Please." Alex sighed as she heard Jay say that, before bending down and kissing his chest softly. After which, Jay proceeded to run his hand up and down his beautiful wife's back. And let's just say that it was exactly what Alex wanted right now. To be held by Jay in the bath, as they hold each other and relax with each other. And that's exactly what they're doing right now, as they hold each other.
To say that the bath that the couple just enjoyed was perfect most definitely was an understatement, especially due to the fact about how it makes her feel right now; it makes her feel very relaxed, and that's what she wants to feel right now. And it also makes her feel another way, and that's loved; especially when Jay is the one who helps her relax, which is exactly what he's going to do today. Standing next to Alex as he put his boxers on underneath his towel, Jay smirked as he proceeded to take off his towel before carrying it over to the hooks at he has in the washroom. Meanwhile, Alex just finished adjusting her underwear under her robe (while also keeping it done up), which now allowed her to grab some of her make up so that she could clean herself up. At the same time, Jay turned around to look at his wife; the wife who really doesn't need to wear makeup for him. And that was something that he was going to tell her, had she not put on some makeup up already; makeup that looked extremely beautiful. So now, he just accepted it.
Walking over to the woman he loves as she stood at the counter, Jay smirked due to the fact that she truly is extremely beautiful. "You need any help with your makeup?" Looking at Jay when he asked her whether she wanted some help with her make up or not, Alex smiled because she knew that the offer was not that sincere; rather, it was just a way for him to get in bed with her as soon as he can. Plus, she's already done. Going to set her makeup down, Alex turned around and looked at her dreamy husband. "Come here." Jay agreed with Alex when he said that, before smirking as he walked up to the woman he loves more than anything. Putting his hands next to her on the counter, Jay smiled as he got close to her; after which, Alex smiled as she put her hands on his chest and leaned in to kiss her loving husband softly. At the same time, Jay put his hand on Alex's neck and kissed her softly. That's when Jay proceeded to grab her robe, and went ahead to try and take it off; and that was exactly what Alex wanted him to do, so she let him take it off.
Letting it fall onto the ground shortly after he took it off, Jay smiled as he put his hands on her hips; after which, Alex smiled as she stepped close to Jay and just stared to take things nice and slow with the man she loves. And that's a title that Jay will always have. Running her hands up Jay's chest after sharing a kiss with him for a few moments, Alex smirked as she went ahead and wrapped her arms around his neck; after which, Jay put his hands on her back and leaned in to kiss the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. And let's just say that they were both really happy right now, especially when they are holding each other close. Picking Alex up in his arms, Jay smirked as he proceeded to set her down on the edge of the counter and just stepped close to her. After which, he put his hands on her arms and just smiled due to the fact that this is perfect; this feeling that he has truly is perfect right now. The way that Jay feels about Alex is something that he loves more than anything in the entire, because it's true love.
Going to kiss his wife's forehead, Jay smirked as he then bent down and proceeded to kiss Alex softly. Taking things slow with her, Jay smirked due to the fact that he truly was really happy right now. He then put his hand on her neck, before smiling as he wanted to hold this gorgeous woman in his arms all day. "You ready to enjoy time in bed with each other?" Alex agreed with Jay when he asked her that, before smiling as that was exactly what she wanted to do. She wanted to cuddle up to the man of her dreams, and she wanted him to hold her close in bed; which is exactly what Jay plans on doing today. He plans on holding her (and their babies) in bed. "I am more than ready to spend the day with you in bed, because that's exactly what I want; especially after all of the drama that went on today." Jay took a breath when he heard Alex say that, as that really wasn't something that he wanted to happen today; and that was most certainly something that Jay understood, and will always understand. At the end of the day, Jay loves his wife first and foremost; I mean, she is the love of his life after all. And that's not a title that Jay throws around lightly, but it most certainly is true.
"What do you want to eat?" Alex smiled when Jay asked her what she wanted to eat right now, before going to grab his hand; after which, she grabbed his hand and intertwined their fingers. "Right now, I want to hold you close to me and relax in bed." Jay agreed with Alex when she said that, before watching as she got close to him. Wrapping her arms around Jay's torso, Alex smiled as she cuddled up to him; after which, Jay put his hands on her arms and kissed her forehead. Jay then proceeded to look down in his wife's eyes, and then bent down to kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Jay smiled due to the fact that this truly is everything that he wants to do right now. He wants to take things nice and slow with the woman of his dreams, and he wants to make sure that Alex knows that he loves her. "I love you." Alex agreed with Jay when he said that, smiling due to the fact that he was ready to just relax with her in bed; grabbing her hand, Jay smiled as he intertwined their fingers this morning.
He then went ahead and proceeded to lead her out of the washroom. That way, he can get in bed with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world; her and their children, which is everything that the couple want to do right now. They want to hold each other close, and they just want to rest right now.
Turning around to look at her husband once they were next to their bed, Alex smiled due to the fact that this really is everything that she wants to do right now. She wants to hold him close, and feel his hands all over her baby bump; and that's exactly what she's going to get when they're in bed with each other. Wrapping her arms around Jay as he got close to her, Alex smiled as she looked up into his eyes; at the same time, Jay put his hands on her arms and bent down to kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with his wife, Jay smiled as he then moved his hands to her neck; and that led to him taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves. "I love you." Alex agreed with Jay when he told her that he loves her, which is something that she most definitely knows. "Listen, I am going to get in bed; then you can join me in bed." Jay agreed with Alex when he said that, before smiling as he looked at her; climbing into bed ahead of Jay, Alex smirked due to the fact that she knew that he liked the sight of the lingerie that she was wearing right now.
Slapping her butt as she climbed into bed, Jay smirked because he knew that Alex loved the feeling. Turning around when Jay did that, Alex just glared at her husband. "JAY!" Jay smirked when he heard Alex say that, before going to climb in bed with the woman he loves. After which, he got nice and close to Jay. He then got nice and close with the woman he loves, before tugging her body against his chest; after which, he went ahead and tugged the covers up on top of the both of them. Putting her hands on Jay's chest, Alex smiled as she leaned up and kissed him softly. Taking things nice and slow with the man she loves, Alex smirked due to the fact that Jay is so damn sexy. "I love you." Jay agreed Alex when she told him that she loves him, and that's definitely something he knows. "I love you too Alex, and I will always love you." Alex agreed with Jay when he told her that, before cuddling up to him and going to wrap her arms around his back. After which, Jay proceeded to leave a soft kiss on her forehead; after which, he looked down into Alex's eyes.
Leaning in, Jay smiled as he bent down and kissed his gorgeous wife softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Jay smirked due to the fact that this truly is everything he wants to do right now. "How are you feeling right now? Any problems when it comes to you feeling bad?" Alex sighed when she heard her husband say that, as she knew that she needed something (even though she would much rather he stay in bed with her). "Listen, as much as I would rather you stay in bed with me…" Jay then realized that. "Right, you need me to make you some food." Alex agreed with Jay when he said that, smiling as she watched him lean in; putting his hand on the side of her face, Jay tugged her close to him and crashed his lips against hers. Taking things nice and slow with Alex, Jay smirked due to the fact that he was incredibly happy with the woman he loves more than anything. "I love you Alex." Alex agreed with Jay when he told her that, smirking due to the fact that she was really happy too. "I hope you know that I feel the same way."
Jay agreed with his wife when she said that, before smiling at her. "I know that Alex. But listen, what do you want for lunch?" Alex smiled when Jay asked her what she wanted for lunch. "Can you make me some pancakes?" Jay was a bit confused when he heard Alex say that. "Pancakes?" Alex just looked at her husband when he questioned what she wanted for lunch, which made Jay know that he needed to just go do what she wants; and that's make her some pancakes for lunch. "Okay, well I am going to go make you some pancakes okay?" Alex agreed with Jay when he said that, smiling due to the fact that Jay really is a great husband; and she is so proud of the fact that he's HER husband. And that's something that she will always enjoy. The mere fact that Jay is her husband makes her smile each and every day. "Listen, I'm going to go make you some food okay?" Alex agreed with Jay when he said that, before smiling as he went to get up; afterwards, he went to adjust his boxers and smirked at the woman he loves more than anything.
Turning around, Jay just smiled at Alex. "You want me to get anything for you quickly before I make us some food?" Alex shook her head when Jay asked her whether she needs anything quickly, before he goes ahead and makes her some pancakes. "No, I'm okay Jay; I promise." Jay agreed with Alex when she said that, before smiling as he moved close to her. He then leaned over her and put his hand on her neck, after which he kissed her softly; taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything, Jay just smiled due to the fact that this is everything that he's ever wanted in life, a life with Alex; which is what he has now. Pulling away from the kiss, Jay smirked as he looked at his beautiful wife. "I'll be back with some pancakes for lunch." Alex agreed with Jay when he told her that, smiling as she was glad that he was going to make her some pancakes. "Thanks Jay." Jay shook his head when he heard Alex thank him for going to make her some food. "Alex, there's no need to thank me for going to do my job; and that's make you the food you need for our twins to grow in you. And that's exactly what I'm going to do right now." Alex agreed with Jay when he told her that, just smiling at the man she loves. "Take Max out and let him go to the washroom?" Jay agreed, smiling at his wife. "Right."
Going to look at Max, Jay smiled. "C'mon Maxy, let's go to the washroom." Alex laughed a bit when she heard Jay call him Maxy, which is something that she normally does; and it's rare that Jay does it. "Well, that's different." Jay smiled as he looked at his beautiful wife. "What can I say? My wife has an effect on me that I can't deny." Alex laughed as she heard Jay said that, before smiling at the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. "I swear, I love you so much." Jay agreed with Alex when he told her that, smiling as he looked at her. "See you soon okay?" Alex agreed with Jay when he told her that, smiling. "Oh, one more thing." Jay looked at his wife when she said that. "What's that?" Alex then proceeded to grab her water bottle, that way he can grab it. Making his way over to Alex after she grabbed her water bottle, Jay smirked a she went ahead and grabbed her water bottle. Walking away after, Jay went to go make her food; however, that was not what Alex wanted. "Excuse me?" Turning around to look at his wife, Jay laughed.
Afterwards, Jay made his way over to Alex; after which, he leaned over her and proceeded to kiss her again. Putting her hand on his cheek, Alex smiled as she kissed Jay softly. Taking things nice and slow with the man she loves, Alex smirked. "Pancakes." Jay agreed with Alex when she said that, before smiling as he got up and walked away to make his wife some pancakes; and at the same time, he'll put Max out so that he can stay calm and relax (while Jay and Alex do the same thing in bed).
