Hi Readers: I hoped that you guys enjoyed the couple chapters that I posted for you guys yesterday, and are ready for some more; because I know that I am most definitely ready to post many more chapters today (compared to how many I posted yesterday). And that's why I'm starting right now. But before I start writing for you guys, I have a question for you. I would actually really like it if I could get some feedback and ideas from you, my readers; that way, I can know that you guys are enjoying where I am taking this story. And if there is something that you guys aren't enjoying, then I would like to know so that I can try and make it better (at least in my opinion). But that's it so far, and I am ready to start writing. So, here we go with today's chapters; I hope that you guys enjoy them.
Chapter Forty-Four
Gabby asked him to get her one as well, another one of his shirts. The reason? She wanted to wear one, just like he was, while they relaxed in bed with each other (as well as their sons). Well, not both of their sons at the moment; rather, they were going to just relax with Matteo right now. And the reason he was upstairs with them? Well, that was due to the fact that he was jealous; jealous of the fact that he wasn't getting to spend the same amount of time that his twin brother got to spend with his parents. But now, that situation was remedied; and he was now in bed with his parents. But before Matteo could get too comfortable with his mother, Matt had to make sure that she was wearing something; and that was one of his dress shirts. Yes, his dress shirts; after all, she is still going to be breastfeeding Noah for a bit. However, he also believes that she'll end up breastfeeding Matteo a bit too due to the fact that he's going to want it when he sees his brother do it. In fact, Matteo was currently in the midst of trying to kiss her breast right now.
And that meant that he was thinking about it. "I think that Matteo is thinking about it." Turning her attention away from the TV show that she was watching to see Matt come out of his closet both wearing (and carrying) some of his shirts, Gabby smiled at him before probing him as to just what he was referring to. "What are you talking about?" Matt then smiled as he made his way over to Gabby's side of the bed, before sitting down next to her as he looked at Matteo. Setting his shirt down in his lap as he sat down, Matt smiled as he looked at his baby boy. "I hope you know that you are nothing like your brother right now Matteo, and that you are not going to be getting mommy's breast today; you are going to be fed by me and some bottles." Looking down at Matteo, Gabby saw that he was looking at her breast before shaking her head. After which, she turned her head and looked up at Matt. After which, Matt proceeded to stare down into her eyes too; the eyes that he loves staring into each and every day. "Here, I got you a shirt to wear."
Seeing that Matt got her one of his dress shirts, Gabby smiled as that was exactly what she wanted to wear right now; she wanted to wear a shirt that could easily be undone, as it would mean that she could easily feed Noah when he needs to be fed and/or comforted by her. Taking a breath as she grabbed the shirt that Matt got for her, Gabby looked down at Matteo again. "He looks so comfortable." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before smiling as he looked at his baby boy; well aware of the fact that he was comfortable on his mother's chest, as well as her breast (which he is currently using as a "pillow" in a way). "I think he likes using your breast as a pillow." Laughing as she heard Matt say that, as that was the exact thing that she was thinking; after which, she bent down and proceeded to kiss Matteo's forehead softly. "I think you need to get him off my chest so that I can put my shirt on." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, before looking at Matteo; after which, he went ahead and grabbed Matteo so that he can hold him.
Picking him up from Gabby's chest, Matt smiled as he picked him up and then got up. "Hey buddy. How about you come lay down on daddy's chest for a bit? You can cuddle up to him and let him hold you close for a bit?" Going to cuddle up to his father, Matteo agreed with him; at the same time, Matt smiled as this was definitely something that he was liking. At the same time, Gabby got up out of bed and went to put Matt's dress shirt on; and that led to Matt staying on her side of the bed for a minute longer. Putting the shirt on her shoulder, Gabby started to do up her shirt before looking up at her husband; after all, she was still quite confused as to why he wasn't making his way over to his side of the bed. "Why aren't you going to your side of the bed?" Matt smirked as he watched Gabby do up his shirt, which is most definitely something that he enjoys watching. Waiting for her to do up his shirt completely, Matt just smiling as he kissed Matteo's head; after which, he got close to Gabby as soon as she finished doing up his shirt this morning.
Wrapping his arm around Gabby, Matt smirked as he put his hand on her butt and tugged her body against his; staring down into Gabby's eyes as soon as her body was pressed against his chest, Matt smirked as he bent down and proceeded to kiss her softly. Putting her hands on Matt's chest, Gabby smiled as she leaned up and then proceeded to kiss him softly. Taking things nice and slow with the man she loves, Gabby smirked due to the fact that this was exactly what she wanted to do right now. She wanted to take things nice and slow with the man she loves as they held each other close, and that was exactly what she's in the midst of doing right now. Moving his hand to the side of Gabby's face, Matt smirked as he bent down and proceeded to kiss her softly once again; taking things nice and slow with his beautiful wife, Matt just smiled due to the fact that this was exactly what she wanted to be doing with Matt right now. And Matt felt the same way, as he loves Gabby more than anything in the entire world; as she's the love of his life.
"I love you, and I hope you know that you're the love of my life." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that she was the love of her life, because that was something that she most definitely was; and that was exactly what he was to her as well. "I love you too Matt, and you will always be the love of my life." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she told him that, before smiling as he turned to look at Matteo. Kissing his forehead, Matt smiled as he stared into his eyes. "Are you okay buddy?" Matteo then proceeded to cuddle up to Matt again. Smiling as he bent down and kissed the top of Matteo's head, Matt couldn't help but wonder whether he was tired too. "Think he's tired too?" Gabby just looked at Matteo when Matt asked her that, before smiling as she looked at their son. "I think he may be." Matt agreed with is beautiful wife when she said that. After which, he wrapped his arm around Gabby and smiled at her. "You want to stay in our shirts?" Gabby bit her lip when Matt asked her that, as she was unsure. "We'll see." Matt agreed with his wife.
Turning to look at Matteo, Matt smiled as he rubbed his back. "I'll change him, then I'll put him in his crib." Gabby agreed with Matt when he told her that, before proceeding to walk away to get back in bed; at the same time, Matt turned around and carried Matteo over to the area that they have set up for their boys. That way, he can change his diaper; after which, he'll put him in his crib so that he can take a nap this afternoon. And let's just say that Matte was glad that was the case, as it was going to give him and Gabby time; time to do what they originally wanted to do with each other today (while Noah napped), and that was spend a bit of sexy time with each other. And that was going to be absolutely perfect, him holding his girl in his arms; with her wearing her sexy lingerie, while he's just wearing his boxers (which are going to stay on of course). Because if there's one thing that they're not going to do while the boys are in here today, is have sex with each other; because that most definitely was not something that they should be doing right now.
Having just finished putting Matteo down in his crib to take a nap, Matt smiled as turned around and looked at his gorgeous wife; the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world, and the only woman that he ever wants to spend the rest of his life with. At the same time, Matt wants to make sure that she still takes it easy and relaxes with him. And that will include them wearing their shirts, as their sons as in their room right now; which is the reason why they will keep their shirts on. Just walking over to his and Gabby's bed wearing his shirt and boxers, Matt smiled when he saw that Gabby actually had her iPad in her lap. "Is there a reason that you're using your iPad?" Gabby took a breath as she turned to looked at her husband, as she knew that they did agree not to work on the weekend. "Yeah, it's uhm…" Matt laughed. "You want to do some designing?" Gabby took a breath. "I want to talk to you about something while we're just relaxing, is that okay?" Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, before smiling as he got in bed.
After which, he got close to the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world; wrapping his arm around her at the same time, Matt smiled due to the fact that he loves Gabby more than anything in the entire world. Getting close to Matt at the same time, Gabby just smiled as she knew that Matt loves her more than anything. At the same time, Matt proceeded to kiss the side of her head. "Everything okay baby?" Gabby took a breath as she looked at the man she loves, well aware that they aren't supposed to be talking about business right now. "I know that we hate talking business, and we always agree not to…" Moving his hand to Gabby's face, Matt turned her head before leaning in and kissing her softly; taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Matt smiled due to the fact that he was really happy. "So, is there a reason that you want to talk business?" Gabby then looked at the boys. "I think that it would allow us to stay calm." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that. "Want me to put sweats on then?" Gabby sighed.
"Can you? I trust you but…" Matt then proceeded to kiss her forehead, smiling at his wife. "I'll go put it on, I promise. But first, I want to tell you something okay baby?" Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that. "Do you want me to stop being dressed like this?" Gabby bit her lip. "I think it's time for us to relax, because we're parents; and I'm worried." Matt just looked at his wife when she said that. "What are you talking about baby?" Taking a breath again, Gabby went to talk to Matt. "You remember last night, when we were at the hospital and I went for a walk to clear my mind?" Matt agreed with his wife when she said that. "Yeah, I remember. I saw that you were much more relieved after you came back." Gabby let out a sigh of relief. "And there was a reason for that." Matt just looked at his wife when she said that. "And what was that?" Gabby bit her lip before telling Matt what the reason was. "I'm late."
Those are the words that Matt has always wanted to hear in life, that his wife's period was late; and that she may be pregnant, but not in this situation. And that was due to the fact that Matt and Gabby aren't ready to have another baby, which is why Matt is in the midst of holding his wife in his arms right now; because he was making her feel better. But first, he needed to know something from his wife as she laid down in his arms; wrapping her arms around his torso, Gabby slipped her legs in between Matt's and just cuddled up to her dreamy husband. Running her hand down his chest as she laid her head down, Gabby took a breath as she looked at the test that was next to her. Yes, a test. The moment that Gabby said that she was late, she and Matt decided that she would take a test; and that was exactly what she did. She proceeded to take a pregnancy test to make sure that she wasn't pregnant, which is not what they want. But now, they were waiting; waiting for the results that would tell them which time of feeling that they would have right now.
At the end of the day, they will be happy in either situation; and that's due to the fact that they do want to have a lot of children, and that's something that the couple already agreed on. Now that they have this life, they are going to have a lot of children; but they are just not sure if they are exactly ready to have another baby yet, which is why Gabby decided to ask her husband. Ask him whether he was ready to have another baby, because that was something that she needed to know before they find out. Flipping the test over so that they couldn't see the result for a bit, Matt turned his head and proceeded to kiss the top of his wife's head; that way, she can relax and just take it easy right now. That was what she needed to do, because she doesn't need to worry; she doesn't need to worry about the fact that she may be pregnant yet, until they know with the test. Running his hand up and down Gabby's back, Matt turned his head and then pressed his lips to her forehead. "I didn't even know that you had a pregnancy test laying around." Gabby laughed.
"I bought one at the pharmacy, but I've yet to take it; I bought a few actually so that I always have some here just in case, that way we can do it as discreetly as possible. I mean, you are going to be famous now; and we're going to want to keep our pregnancies on the DL." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, before kissing her forehead softly. After which, he left a soft kiss on her forehead once again. "I'm just shocked that this is even a possibility, because I wasn't even expecting this." Gabby agreed with Matt as he mentioned that he didn't expect this, because she wasn't expecting it either; and that's definitely something that's worrying her. Worrying her about the fact that she was pregnant. But first, they had to worry about something else; and that was a text message that Matt just got. "There's no way that the test was already ready." Matt shook his head when he heard Gabby say that, as it wasn't at all related to the test. Rather, that was his text message alert. "No, that's my alert for a text." Gabby agreed with Matt.
"Business?" Going to pick up his phone, Matt proceeded to check whether the text was business; or if it was personal. He then saw that it was actually a text from Heather, a text related to something that the boys can do this weekend; because she needs them out.
Heather Darden-Matthew Casey Text Message Thread:
Heather: Can I get the code for the rooftop pool? The boys need to get out and swim.
Matt: The code is ANDY or 2639.
Heather: Nice. I love that code 3.
Matt: LOL. Stop flirting with me, I'm married Heather.
Heather: Shut up. How are you and Gabby? Happy at the big house? I know I hated it.
Matt: HAHA. Not funny.
Heather: I know. Thanks for letting us into the pool. Talk later.
Matt: We'll have to have you over for supper sometime, I want to see my godsons!
Heather: Next weekend?
Matt bit his lip when Heather asked him whether they can come over next weekend, because he most definitely does like the idea of them coming over next weekend; especially since it's Father's Day next weekend. Turning his head as he looked at his wife, Matt proceeded to kiss Gabby's forehead to get her attention. After which, Gabby looked up at her loving husband. "Hey, what's up?" Smiling at Gabby, Matt ran his hand up and down her back. "Heather just asked whether she can come over with the boys next weekend, since it's father's day?" Gabby thought about it, and just smiled as she loved the idea of them coming so that they can spend Father's Day with their surrogate father. "I think they can come over this weekend, just not Sunday. Sunday we're going to be alone on your first father's day with the boys." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, before smiling as he bent down so that he can kiss her softly; which then led to him taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world.
"I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that he loves her. "I love you too, and I am so glad that this is what we're in the midst of doing." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, before proceeding to leave a soft kiss on her forehead; after which, he turned his attention back to the text message thread that he was having with Heather so that he can invite them over this Saturday.
Heather Darden-Matthew Casey Text Message Thread Continued:
Matt: This Saturday? Spend the afternoon here? They can swim, etc.
Heather: Saturday? Not Sunday? It's going to be harder on Sunday.
Matt: (Sigh) First father's day. In-laws are already coming over.
Heather: Oh, I understand now. I swear, that father-in-law of yours is something.
Matt: LOL. Tell me about it. I'm just glad that he lives with my BIL at the Office.
Heather: So, just your MIL lives with you?
Matt: I like Camila. Now, have fun and relax by the pool Heather.
Heather: I'm going to take care of PR while they're swimming.
Matt got a bit concerned when he saw that text message, as he wasn't sure when it came to the type of PR that he was talking about. "Gabby, I need to make a phone call." Gabby was confused when Matt said that. "Is everything okay?" Matt took a breath and looked at Gabby. "Can you climb off?" Gabby agreed with Matt, going to get off. At the same time, Matt proceeded to sit up so that he can call Heather; right now, he just has a bad feeling about this, and he needs to get some information about just what she's talking about. Taking a breath, Matt proceeded to call his late best friend's wife so that he can talk to her about what she's talking about. He doesn't know why he has this feeling, but he just has this feeling that something's wrong; something is really wrong, and that he needs to talk to his head of press relations about. Going to push her contact profile, Matt took a breath before going ahead with calling Heather.
Putting his phone up to his ear, Matt took a breath so that he can talk to Heather about just what she's talking to him about; something that he feels may not be the best thing. And he just wants to make sure that everything's okay right now. He doesn't want anything bad to be going on, and that really worries him. He wants to know right now what the hell is going on, and he doesn't want anybody to get the bad idea about what happened with Noah; and yes, that's what he thinks this is about. He has a feeling that the press just found out that Noah was at the hospital, and that he was abused. Going to put his phone up to his ear, Matt took a breath as he heard Heather answer. "Hey Matt." Taking a breath, Matt proceeded to speak to Heather. "Heather, please don't sugar coat this for me. I know that you're going to want to do that, but I just want to hear the truth. What's going on right now?" Heather then sighed, well aware that Matt probably had an idea when it came to what he thought was going on. "Matt, I can take care of it."
Matt just spoke to her. "Heather, I am not going to just ignore the fact that you're telling me that you're going to work on PR, the same day that my son was released from the hospital." Gabby then looked at Matt. "Wait, is this related to…" Matt put his hand up and just spoke to Heather. "Heather, tell me what's going on." Heather sighed when Matt said that, well aware that she can't hide the truth from him. "Some of the newspapers are asking whether you abused him, because they learned about your past thanks to the records of your mother's arrest. I am taking care of…" Matt then went ahead and spoke to her forcefully. "I want the entire press team at the office tomorrow morning at 9 AM. Please send out a press availability alert for 9:30 tomorrow." Matt then got up and proceeded to hang up, before turning to look at Gabby. "Get up, we're packing up the boys and going to the penthouse. I need to be at the office tomorrow to deal with this." Looking at her husband, Gabby could see that he was hurting over something. "Matt, what's wrong?"
Taking a breath, Matt started to break down a bit. "The press is calling Heather, and are asking for comment about whether I abused Noah because of my past. They learned about my mom's arrest, and the situation around that." Gabby just looked at Matt when he said that, before proceeding to make her way to her husband; she knew that this was the last thing that he wanted, and that was why he needed to do this. Getting close to Matt, Gabby wrapped her arms around him and just held him close; and that was exactly what Matt needed right now. He needs to be held by the woman he loves, and he needs to be reassured that everything will be okay. "Do you want to keep the boys here? We can keep them away from the press here, not there." Matt shook his head. "No, because we're not going to be staying her for a while." Gabby was confused when she heard Matt say that. "Why?" Matt sighed. "I want to hunker down, and make sure that we stay away from the press; and I want the boys to be guarded, and that can only happen…"
Gabby then understood what he was saying. "At the office. I understand baby." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, taking a breath as he proceeded to get close to her; wrapping his arms around her, Matt kissed Gabby's forehead as they held each other close. "Gabby, I love you; and I hope you know that." Looking up at her husband, Gabby agreed with him. "Hey, of course I know that baby."
