Chapter 179: The calm before the storm...
(March 20. Royal Woods, Michigan.)
Michelle Lewis, she walks out from the house and she goes to check on the mail, she does see the bills and she also sees the magazine that Leni is subscribed to, and then she sees a letter, from Lynnard and Rita, and this caused her to groan in annoyance. "Oh boy."
Michelle is about to go back inside, but then she is greeted by the Yates Family who head over. "Hey there, neighbor." It is Jancey and Bumper Sr.
Michelle Lewis remembers them. "Oh yeah, the Yates. I recall that your daughter was given the contract to be a musical star, how did it all go guys?"
"Belle said, she wants to perform when the summer comes, seems fit since she has no plans at that time and we will support that choice" replied Jancey.
"We also came to drop off these for you and the loud kids, Michelle and we are actually planning to go and help feed the homeless." Bumper Sr hands her a basket, with chocolate brownies. "We know they're gonna like them, and they aren't the healthy habit ones, unlike the McBride husbands tend to make, I wonder why Clyde makes his different from theirs."
Jancey speaks. "This is a thank you, well a late thank you for what Luna did to help Belle reach something that she has always wanted, we're sorry we couldn't have given these earlier, but there were some other stuff going down."
Michelle nods. "All is good, and I gotta ask about the whole Well-Roundedness thing you two are doing, is it still going on?"
Bumper Sr then explains. "We're toning it down a little and making sure the kids have some fun every now and then. We had a very long talk, from Beatrix since she was the one who suggested we tone it down."
Beatrix then shows up. "Yup, and I wanna say thanks to Luna for what she did to help my little sister, and also for being an amazing older sister role model. She knows how to stand up to things that don't seem right or just isn't quite fair."
Michelle is happy to hear this. Luna has landed one major impact on the folks around the town. "Well, we should get going. See you around neighbor" replied Jancey. Michelle waves to them as they head back to their own car, and they drive off with their kids.
Michelle is happy of the neighbors being changed. 'Luna, you know how to inspire others.' Michelle then goes back into the house. "Guys, mail is here and chocolate brownies from the Yates." Michelle sees Lincoln and Luna on the couch in the living room, and then the rest of the sisters come down for the brownies, but then Michelle whistles. "Hold it right there, kids!"
They all stop and then Michelle continues. "Good, now these brownies are for after dinner, and you will all get one each. Got it?" they all calm down and nod, then Michelle hands Leni the magazine, and then she places the bills on the table. "Now, this letter here is from those in jail which we haven't bothered to visit until the end of that stupid summer tour thing."
This annoys them, but Lincoln and Luna look ticked off. Lori then speaks. "We literally should see what it says, come on guys." They all head to the couch, and then Michelle in the middle, she opens the letter and then she stops and hands it to Todd.
"I am not reading this thing, you do it, Todd."
The robot that was made by Lisa nods. "Very well." Todd then reads the letter.
"Dear kids, we are sorry about what went down from the last visit, about the whole truth that you guys have found out and I, Lynnard Loud Sr wish to redeem myself, and I understand the whole situation from Luna, Lincoln and Michelle."
"This next one is from Rita." they all didn't like what will be in that one.
"Hello kids, this is from your mother, Rita Loud and I have been doing the very best I can here to be redeemed and then find my way back home so we can be a family again, and that I will always be the good mother to you all and make things right, because as the woman who was there for you all, I will make sure everything is not going back to the old ways which have left a bad taste in everyone's mouths. I will be an even better mother than before, and you will always be my kids whom I love."
They all remain silent, and even Todd. "Wow. That all sounded so desperate and also pathetic."
Michelle sighs. "She's just jealous because I have been doing things better and making changes around the lives of all of you. All for the better and whatever future is ahead for each and every one of you. She is so delusional in the head, god dang it her."
"But mostly, I think it is because of the plan. Seems like she's becoming some form of a rival to me, and all because she didn't like the plan I made, and the fact all of you are in on it and fine with it."
Lisa sighs. "She has lost herself in the deep end and has no clue where her actions will lead to."
Lana scoffs and she crosses her arms. "She doesn't know what Lincoln and Luna have been through and we're sorry for all of it too." The others also feel bad about this as well.
"She has turned dark and bad, and even I question if I should even call her mom" replied Lucy.
Leni then speaks. "Lynnard sounds calm and a little bit off to the oblivious, but Rita sounds like she is trying too hard, and I don't like how it all sounds."
Luna then speaks. "Lynnard and Rita need to try a whole lot more than some stupid apology letter, because I ain't buying this trash. They need to come up with something true and just to be redeemed and earn forgiveness and trust from me and Lincoln." The others also agree.
Lynn Jr speaks. "What are the odds that those two will try and bring you guys to some amusement park?"
Lola scoffs. "A typical bribe, and we like amusement parks, but I know that won't make the cut for Lincoln and Luna. They sound too desperate and also a little bit creepy."
They then see Lincoln slam his fist to the table, and he whispers. "I hate them." They see him wipe away a tear, and then Luna hugs her brother, followed by Leni, Lily and then the twins. Michelle hugs them as well, and she understand that he really does hate them after knowing the sore truth.
Deep down, she doesn't want them to feel this way, but good things will come for when she figures out how to make her plan go into motion faster, but deep down she has another plan. 'Perhaps when those two idiots are out of jail, then we will make it happen.'
(A reform school somewhere in Beaverton.)
A kid bails from the place, he sneaks out the window and then he makes a run for it before anyone would even know he is missing, and he left a dummy of himself making it look like he is asleep, but who is he?
The kid then hides behind a tree, and he smiles. "Yes, finally got out of that place, and now I can put my revenge in motion, because Boy Jordan is outta here! I am getting my true name back, and I will remove Girl Jordan for stealing my real name! And also, Lincoln Loser is going down!"
He then races off, to make his way back to Royal Woods.
