Hello everyone! This is the new story that I was talking about! So once again, first chapter is a preview, a little taste of the story that is to come! If you all like it, I'll put out another chapter within a week-kind-of-deal. As I said, it's still Naruto X RWBY, HOWEVER, this time Naruto is from Atlas, it takes place during Salem's invasion of Atlas and he come's bearing a LOT more then some speed and a car, no matter how cool I find that car. As for what he bring's to the table, well, have a wee gander why don't ya!
As per normal with this place, I OWN NOTHING!

(The city of Atlas)
As the massive whale-like Grimm floated outside of Atlas, all James Ironwood, general of atlas' forces, could do was grimace and stare at the monster on his doorstep.
And no, he wasn't talking about the whale.
"Salem" he ground out, teeth clenched at the sight of, in his eye's, the ultimate enemy of mankind. Seeing her here, with that ridiculously sized monstrosity, only made him wish that there were some reinforcements that he could call up to help with the fight to come. However, much to his chagrin, all the forces that Atlas had were already here, aside from Argus military base, and he couldn't let them come help, lest they risk being flanked by a leviathan Grimm that they could have stopped at Argus.
Well… that wasn't entirely the truth. There was another legion of soldiers that were loyal to Atlas and were under the command of the only other high-ranking officer on his own level. Hell, on official papers' this man was technically above even him, bearing the title of 'Grand Admiral of the Atlesian Airforce and Navy'.
If only they hadn't lost radio contact 10 years ago, there might still be hope of reinforcements. But beyond even that, it would have been nice to converse with the only other person who knew the burden they bore, being in command of so many, with their lives in your hands. As they say, misery loves company.
'Elder brother, what happened to you?' thought James, pondering on what could have happened to his brother and the secret project he was working on, something he wouldn't share even with him. Hell, no one even knew of the location outside of those working on it.
Could Salem have gotten wind of his project, decided to kill him and destroy the project? The thought was barely in his head before he dismissed it as nothing more then an errant thought at best and a poor joke at worst.
Even if Salem had got word of it, which was near impossible due to the level of secrecy used when hiding its existence from the public and even the lower echelons of the military, then she would not have been able to destroy it. Not with his brother standing guard over the entire thing.
After all, one does not challenge the Atlesian Grand Admiral and expect to survive, let alone win.
Still, that let James in quite a hard place with quite a heavy rock bearing down on him. How was he going to stop Salem?! How could he stop her?! He had nothing! A small army, an even smaller air fleet, and no weapon capable of destroying that thing without someone sacrificing their life to accomplish the near impossible task. It was going to take a miracle at this point.
But as he'd heard tell before, miracles were the works of gods, and they had no god to help them.
Not anymore.
As his heart began to sink, he heard a small cracking sound coming from somewhere in the command center. Looking around he noticed an old worn looking console in the corner of the room, one that was poked away so most people wouldn't notice it.
Walking closer to the console, he began to hear a voice come from the old worn headset attached to it, bringing it up to his ear to listen he finally began to make out the words.
"This is matchstick one to Atlas Command and Control, can anyone hear me? I repeat, this is matchstick one of the Atlas Air Fleet, can anyone hear me?" came the voice, slowly coming into clarity through the static.
"This is general James ironwood, I hear you, where are you coming from matchstick?" he questioned, not recognizing the callsign, but the fact that they connected directly to command and control proved their legitimacy to the general. No random people would be able to connect to A.C.C. They could be patched in, but they'd have to go through airspace control, which would have let him know they were coming.
"Coming home to Atlas from the A.A.F. Executor, general." the man reported, immediately responding to the higher authority in the military. "We should be visible to airspace control in about 5 minutes."
"On who's orders are you here?" James inquired, wanting to know who sent them.
"Grand Admiral Ironwood sent us as the welcoming party sir. Were finally able to come home with the project." He replied, wanting to step foot on his home for the first time in 10 years.
"…my brother sent you?" he questioned, wanting to confirm what he heard was, in fact, correct.
"He did sir, were still in communication range of the Executor if you want us to relay a message to him." Offered matchstick, knowing how badly the admiral wanted to talk to his only remaining family, but radio silence was a must for the majority of the project.
"Let him know that Atlas is under siege from a massive army of Grimm, we could badly use his support right now." Ordered James, seeing an opportunity to turn this around on Salem.
"Copy that sir, request is being relayed as we speak. Anything we can do in the meantime to take some pressure off sir?" asked matchstick, wanting to help their home stay together and in one piece. To that end, the squadrons began picking up speed, trying to get home to help faster.
"How many are in the welcoming party, pilot?"
"Matchstick one through twenty are air-to-air combatants sir, but we've also got our best bomber squadron with us sir, they can clean up the ground forces of the Grimm surrounding mantle to take some more pressure of your boys and girls on the ground." Assessed the pilot, informing the general of the options available to him.
"There are plenty of airborne targets giving us issues pilot, weapons free when you get here. As for the bombers, what's their callsign so I can inform the rest of the military your coming and to not fire on you while they clean up the Grimm?" asked Ironwood knowing everyone was on a hairpin trigger right now. Aircraft coming out of nowhere to help? They might fire on them out of fear of them being an enemy as well.
"Our callsigns are 'matchstick' and 'night witches' sir. ETA is in 5 minutes general, get the homecoming party ready, won't you?" asked matchstick, trying to level some humor to the general.
"we've got piñatas and everything ready for you, have fun when you get here. Ironwood out." He replied, cracking a small grin at the humor. He really needed that right now. And with that he ran to the broad-band broadcast station, wanting to the good news with not just atlas, but mantle as well.
Afterall, why shouldn't the people of mantle celebrate the return of the 'Thunder God of Atlas' the true defender of mantle in all her glory. The strongest defender of Atlas in her history. And with the news of his return, hopefully the sprits of the people would be lifted beyond the abysmal state they were in now.
He could only hope and pray to the God of Thunder that it would be enough.
So yeah! This is the new one! If it weren't obvious, the crossover this time is Naruto, RWBY, Marvel's Thor and a minor one for Star Wars. Well, I say minor but really, it's a pretty significant chunk of Naruto's forces who come from the Star Wars genre. Maybe some of you will know who I have as his soldiers just from this, maybe you won't. regardless, the project is a known super weapon from Star Wars, and no, it's not the death star. More a shrunken super weapon. Any who, leave a like if you do, in fact, like this! And feel free to message me if you think you know the surprises coming next chapter. I'm curious if others know what my plans are.
