Chapter 185: Spring Break is inbound...
(March 26. the Loud House, Franklin Avenue. Royal Woods, Michigan.)
The Loud House seems to be filled with excitement since tomorrow is spring break, and that means no school for one whole dang week.
"I am so totes going to love the spring break sale, now I should be totes on break, but I am like so stoked for this and I wanna make sure everyone gets an awesome and trendy new style."
"Well, I have something else to hassle with and that would be the spring break pageant, and I must train to be the best than the others."
"You chums have that to deal with, well I am looking forward to WrestleMania, baby!"
They all continue to talk about their spring break plans, then Michelle whistles to get their attention. "Guys, calm down please. Now, I am also looking forward to spring break, a chance to spend time with all of you. You can all attend and do what you wanna do, just don't go too far or do something stupid to get into trouble."
They all nod and understand. "I am proud at how far you all have changed ever since, and that all of you have a better sense of mind as to how things are gonna go down. But the one thing we all need to be careful of, is the event coming tomorrow and we all know what that one is about."
They are all aware as well, then Lincoln shows up. "Hey guys, and mom. I am gonna be at Jordan's place." Michelle nods, and she hugs Lincoln and then she sees him leave the house, but then he comes back. "Right, Luna is in her room with the song she made, and I think she wants to talk to you."
Michelle is confused to hear this and so she heads upstairs leaving the others to continue talking about spring break. Michelle makes it to the bedroom which Lincoln and Luna share, and she knocks on the door. "Come in mom."
Michelle then opens the door, and she sees Luna and so she sits on the bed. "Hey sweetie, Linc said you wanted to talk to me about something, are you doing alright? Does it have something to do with what comes down tomorrow?"
Luna nods and then she explains. "Mom, we have the plan, and other stuff prepped up and ready for when Crest and that old British guy show up and all, but I do have something else in mind and it has something to do with the performance and I need your help with it."
Michelle is confused. "Okay, what is it Lunes?"
Luna then asks. "Will you perform the song with me on stage tomorrow at the Royal Woods spring Music Festival?"
Michelle Lewis is surprised to hear this, she didn't think she would be asked for this. She then calms down, and she is handed the notebook and she sees the song written and the lyrics and the beat. "Wow, this song... Wow, this is nice. Luna, this song will legit top off and make sure Katie Crest is kept away as the plan carries on."
Michelle then looks towards Luna. "Luna, I haven't performed in a long, long time and I don't know if I still have it in me." Michelle then looks nervous. "I don't know if I can be able to perform and sing, to play a musical instrument sure, but to sing is just..."
Luna then speaks. "Mom, I know it sounds like a hard thing to do. But I do believe, that within you is the same Michelle Lewis who performed songs that had heart, spirit and the true nature of a musician. You still got it in you, and I know you can still sing as you did back then. You still got it."
"Also, this would also help tick off Katie Crest a lot, something you wanna make happen. Because singing together, is a true way to show everyone that you are with us, united with whatever we do on a near normal basis. Like, a mother and daughter thing, a duet team."
Michelle is surprised and touched to hear this, and she also wants to make Katie Crest look like a fool too. "Luna Marie Loud, I accept and will perform with you tomorrow."
Luna smiles hearing this and she shares a warm and loving motherly hug with Michelle Lewis, and the notebook next to them is open, with the title of the song called "I still haven't found what I'm looking for."
Now, they are prepared, and they need to get to some rehearsing, before tomorrow comes!
