Chapter 186: The Royal Woods spring Music Festival...
(March 27. the Loud House, Franklin Avenue. Royal Woods, Michigan.)
We are at the Loud House and everyone is ready to head out and go to the Royal Woods Spring Music Festival, and Michelle looks to all of them. "Alright gang, are we all ready for this thing?!"
"Yeah!"
Hearing that made Michelle feel proud, she can tell that all of them are prepped up for this, and so she hops into her ride and they drive off, and also Lori is following with Vanzilla. Riding with Michelle is Luna, Lincoln, Leni and Lucy.
Michelle smiles when she sees Luna and Lincoln excited for this. But deep down, Michelle was feeling kinda nervous about this. 'I know that I agreed to perform alongside Luna on stage, but... I don't even know if I still got it or not.'
(Tall Timbers Park.)
This is where the Royal Woods spring Music Festival is being held, and it is gonna be broadcasted thanks to Katherine Mulligan, for she looks forward to this whole event and what would happen, but we head to the backstage while the louds are busy enjoying the whole festival and thankfully Lori and Leni will keep an eye on the others. They do meet up with Albert and Myrtle.
Chunk is busy setting up the gear, and also checking the other stuff needed for this whole thing. The rest of the band double checks their gear and musical instruments to make sure that nothing is out of place, and Sully is taking it too seriously when he shows them his keyboard in bubble wrap.
Michelle is going through the lyrics, and she needs to be ready for this, and then Chunk heads back to the others. "Guys, there is a lot of folks back there packin' it and ready to see the big performance, and also the psycho witch manager and Swagger is out there as well."
Luna sighs, she really doesn't wanna deal with Crest, or have her mess with everything. "She won't be able to come backstage or mess with our gear, and I got Lisa to thanks for that one, and also some High School Football assistance." The Football team are acting as bodyguards and there are special hidden cameras from Lisa and they are locked into the tablet of Mayor Davis, and yes she is also in this plan.
Luna then sees her band mates are getting ready, but then she sees Michelle Lewis is someplace else, and she seems stressed and nervous. "Mom, are you alright there?" She goes over and checks on her.
Michelle sighs and she has to tell her. "Luna, I know that I agreed to sing alongside you on stage and be a mother and daughter duet side-by-side, but I am just... I am so nervous and scared. I mean, it has been so long since I last sung in front of an audience, and I don't know if I still have that singing voice within me, I don't know if it's come back."
This surprises Luna, and she nods. "Mom, I completely understand what you mean, and you weren't the only one." She then sits next to her. "Back then, I kinda had a nervous ordeal when I was gonna perform in front of an audience, but I just needed to build up the confidence and courage, and remember why I was gonna do it, and it worked and I managed to perform on stage and sing."
"Look, I will not push you into singing with me, if you don't wanna sing with me on stage, then I can have either Sam or Linc to sing along side me. If you need some time, then it's alright. I know you are afraid to go back on stage, and I know it is hard. But sometimes... In life, we gotta get over the one thing we fear the most, and see what will happen next, for better or for worse."
Michelle smiles hearing this, and she feels little nervous now, and she feels like she is growing some confidence and then she hugs Luna. "Thanks sweetie, I needed that, and you are right." She then gets up and she has her electric guitar ready. "It's time for me to see if I can make this happen, time to see if Michelle Lewis is back."
Luna smiles seeing this, and the band sees this and they are happy to know that Michelle Lewis has the confidence back within her.

Mick Swagger and Katie Crest are waiting along with everyone else, though Mick Swagger is surprised that nobody is mobbing him for an autographs or something. But Crest has something on her mind. 'Dang it, now I can't go backstage and make Luna Loud to listen to me in what I have planned for her performance. Well, might as well see what she has in store for this crumby stupid town.'
Then the curtains reveal, Luna Marie Loud and everyone claps, Luna has an electric guitar, but she doesn't strum it, she holds the microphone and she starts to sing.
Luna Loud: I have climbed, the highest mountains.
I have run through the fields.

Michelle Lewis smiles seeing this, she is proud at what Luna is doing, and how brave she is when performing, and this reminds her of herself from long ago. Seeing this, is making her more and more confident that she can sing again and she gets ready with her guitar, and Chunk's signal.

There is a sudden moment of silence, and then they all hear this guitar strumming, and they see someone come out from the curtains and it is none other than Michelle Lewis, and this even shocks Katie Crest, and now both Luna and Michelle perform together.
Michele Lewis: I believe in the kingdom come.
Then all the colors will bleed into one.

But yes, I'm still running.
Luna and Michelle: You broke the bonds, and loosed the chains.

As soon as it is over, everyone cheers and claps and the whole performance was recorded by so many and the cameras from the news crews and it turns into a thunderous roaring applause!
Michelle Lewis looks around and she is surprised by this and it feels good to be cheered by the crowd. 'Wow, I still got it! I didn't think I did, but I still dang got it within me!'
Luna and Michelle then take a bow and the rest of the band as well. Even Lincoln and Jordan at backstage cheer and clap for them at what they just did, and the rest of the louds within the audience.
Luna and Michelle can see that Katie Crest is looking at the audience cheering for both, and this angers her because she didn't like it that Michelle Lewis was singing alongside Luna Loud, and this means folks on tour would wanna see them sing together.
Mick Swagger claps, but Katie Crest stops him and she walks away, the British man is confused and so he follows her and he is wondering why they are leaving.
Luna and Michelle smile, seeing that the plan had worked. Luna then looks towards Michelle. "You still got it mom."
Michelle chuckles. "Dang right I do Lunes." They then embrace each other, and everyone cheers even louder.
Katie Crest can see this from her car and she growls at this. 'Dang it, dang it, dang it! Now folks will want her to be on the tour! She's going to ruin everything! I need to make some changes to my plans, perhaps some locked up parents can help me with that one!'
She then drives off, and with Mick Swagger following in his own car, but another car drives by and some boys inside are acting off the rails like crazy at the back, while the parents and two sisters are annoyed by this and they drive by the whole event to go to the hotel which they are staying.
Apparently, they are here on vacation as tourists to Royal Woods. This family van's license plate says "C4RS0N" on the back.
