Crouching Stockboi, Hidden Turtle

He immediately began waving down passerby's to ask. "Have you seen this cat?!" Attila asked.

"No," said a man going on his way.

"Have you seen this cat?" Attila asked again.

"No," Said the Woman, Attila began ducking and weaving through many, many, humans. All of whom were bustling about in tight crowds. It was hard for Attila to Maneuver around in the crowds and show off the picture of her without risking it getting wrecked or him getting knocked over. He managed to squeeze out of a crowd near a nearby Coffee shop. He went up against the window large eyes with picture plastered against the window. He pointed to it. People shook their heads. He groaned and left.

Eventually Attila saw a building in the sea of pillars and monoliths the humans went in and out of. He was relieved to find one in this concrete jungle. He went inside and began asking all the young humans, if they saw Klunk. None of them did. One even said it was weird but actually cute unlike some other cat she had seen. Attila didn't have time to talk so he went off leaving her to blather to herself.

As he continued looking around the school he saw a bunch of kids come out in shorts and sleeveless strap shirts. He looked up seeing more overly simple elvish. "Changing room?" he asked with a tilt of his head. What did Humans look like naked? Attila snuck inside to take off his clothes minus the bag as the pin was attached to it. A few seconds passed.

"MY EYES!" Attila screamed in horror at what he saw covering them and pulling the bag off quickly to put them back on. Eventually when his search of the building turned up empty he laid on a small wall depressed sniffling a little.

"You know if you really want to find your cat," said a Boy in a purple shirt and pants with no hair on his head, "You should really put out the word online."

"Online?" Attila asked.

"Yeah Social Media just open the face book app on your phone and go." Those were words but Attila didn't understand though Phone did make him think of that weird viewing crystal the Purple Turtle had. Maybe that was it. The boy pulled out a similar device. That had to be a Phone a small square rectangle with one button and a screen that changed with a touch.

"Ooooooohhh," Attila muttered in awe.

"Newest IPhone I know!" The boy bragged. "It's even got a really good Camera! I can't wait to impress a crush of mine! All that work finally paid off!"

"Hey wait where do I-?" Attila tried to ask but he was already gone. He looked around across the street in a park he saw a small brown skin child having set up his own phone it looked like he was recording as he was talking into it. He rushed over.

"Tiger-Man real, fiction or ghost you decide-AHHH!" Attila knocked the boy over and rammed the picture into the phone.

"Have you seen this Kitty her name is Klunk she was taken from me and dumped in New York and now she's all alone please help me find her!" Attila begged into the Phone practically spitting on it and fogging the screen.

"Hey you're messing up my video!" shouted the boy pulling on Attila's hair he felt pain in his head he glared and smacked the boy before the two started getting into a tussle and knocked the camera over. As they pulled at each other's cheeks a female voice scolded out.

"Baxter stop fighting with the other children!" she shouted as Attila let go he hissed crawling under the bench and glaring. He watched Baxter mess with his phone notice him and glare back.

"Thanks a lot weirdo you messed up my live feed! Now I've gotta start over!" he growled before running off. Attila hadn't been called weird before. Maybe he was weird to humans since he was raised to be a weapon and a solider. Now that he thought of it, he was probably weird to other Yokai as well. He had no idea how to interact with any of them save for Klunk. Once it was clear he pulled himself out from under the bench.

As he sighed he suddenly saw a large six Foot figure out in crowd with a large trench coat and hat. Attila however recognized a familiar muzzle. "Tiger Claw!" he said rushing over "Tiger Claw!" he shouted jumping up and down trying to catch the attention of the Yokai. "Over here!" he shouted waving wildly. The Tiger groaned realizing who that kid was before rushing at him quickly and rushing down an alley.

"Shut up!" he hissed, in a desperate tone. "I don't want humans to see I'm a large mutant Tiger understand?!"

"Mufnn?" Attila asked from under Tiger Claw's paw as he was let go. "I thought you were a Yokai." Attila said.

"Nope Draxum used me a Guinea pig for his mutagen, this was before I met Big Mama." Tiger Claw replied.

Attila's mind suddenly went back to the human they had snatched up a week ago. He realized Tiger Claw was essentially the same victim of a test run to make sure his Mutagen was made correctly.

He saw Tiger Claw going to leave. "Wait! I need help to put out a message about Klunk." Attila, "I know I seem really weak for asking but-"

"That doesn't make you weak just ill-equipped." Tiger Claw noted he didn't seem interested in helping in fact he already had a foot going ahead of him. Attila hung his head he sighed. "I have an extra," he said holding it out Attila snatched it.

"Yes thank you!" he shouted he turned and ran a few steps before he realized something and froze. "Uhhhhh," he said in a weak embarrassed voice.

"You don't know how to use that do you." Tiger Claw deadpanned.

"No," Attila muttered quickly. Tiger Claw groaned his head going back a bit. "Did he teach you anything?"

"If it didn't involve killing things, being a warrior or leading an army; Then the answer is no." Attila replied.

Tiger Claw grumbled about Draxum under his breath. Tiger Claw looked around for a small private area they could huddle in Tiger Claw felt like he was being completely exposed right now. He just wanted to find a cheap apartment to hide in. Or have the cat drop out of the sky so they wouldn't have to do this. Eventually he felt safe under a nearby bridge.

"Okay first we need an E-mail." He muttered, selecting one site and after a few minutes of fumbling Attila got the hang of the touch screen. He began typing in his name as part of the Address. Once that was done it asked for a password: Attila began with Klunk: The Password wasn't strong enough: he added numbers Tiger Claw sighed he wordlessly took the phone and struggled a little bit. He was quickly finding it hard to coordinate his large fingers. Attila also noticed he seemed to be scared of breaking the phone.

"Uhh maybe you tell me what to type?" Attila suggested. Tiger Claw hummed as if annoyed at his paws before handing it too him.

"Okay, type in capital M then y then spell, Klunk with a capital on the first letter then the number two-thousand after that." Tiger Claw instructed.

"Okay," Attila replied doing so as the keyboard magically appeared in the screen. As they did this the two were unaware they were being watched. A small silver T-rex like drone had its mouth wide with a camera lens inside it was recording everything as Baxter watched from his IPad.

"That freaky kid knows Tiger-Man? And he's looking for some cat." He muttered humming thinking of a plan.

Tiger Claw struggled not to tear the picture they had to shreds. Eventually they were able to get its picture on the phone. Attila sighed in relief as Tiger Claw then guided him through the posting process. "And done!" he said showing the newly made post to Tiger Claw before looking at it. "Where are the comments?"

"It's been thirty seconds; people have to see her first. Then post." Tiger Claw said as Attila put down the phone. "Okay so I've got a lot to do today so try not to get into any more trouble." He huffed.

"I won't." Attila replied. "I'm gonna be stronger now! I can handle myself." He declared.

"Good for you," Tiger Claw said taking off. Climbing up the Bridge they had been under as Attila began his search again. He kept the cable and block in his shoulder bag. It was good for holding some things. He began asking again, so far no luck. He felt his stomach growl. He looked into a nearby window noticing some humans in line at a table that looked like one of the ones, he noticed in the Hidden City while sneaking out. He didn't have any money he watched a very similar scene to the one in his memories play out in the hotel as a larger human exchanged a green piece of paper for his sandwich other's used flat plastic rectangles. But they exchanged some kind of good for food like Yokai did. But how was he going to eat.

He noticed a sitting area there were a few people there, he watched them carefully hoping to snatch away a sandwich. He wasn't desperate enough to go digging through restaurant trashes yet.

There was one person who didn't finish their sandwich and stormed off to complain to a manager Attila saw his chance and quickly snatched it hiding back up in the nearby planted tree he was in and began to eat it. As he finished he heard a beep.

He saw a small red circle with a one in it his eyes lit up as he dropped the paper and tapped on it. "My Post!" he shouted in excitement. "I saw the cat going east by Empire Boulevard!" Attila looked up wondering how to get there. He groaned wracking his brain he remembered something Draxum had taught him. He jumped down he didn't have anything he could use. He'd have to scorch part of the ground. Charging some mystic power into his finger he began to draw into the ground a small rune and put his hand on it ignoring the pain in his fingers as he flattened his hand against it. He focused on it letting magic flow through himself and then into the rune below. He was gathering all the information in the area where to go how to get there. He groaned as his head filled up quickly. He stopped taking a breath as he rubbed his head with pain. Feeling something soft underneath it immediately, he remembered he was still in his human disguise he gasped and looked around no one saw that right? He hoped not. No one was here.

"Okay I know where to go now, hang on Klunk here I come!" Attila told himself as he took off running following where the magic had told him. He was racing as hard as he could.

This is the place. Attila muttered looking around; he saw the sun start to disappear behind the pillars. He gulped but suddenly saw a small white and orange figure off in the distance walking. "Klunk!" he shouted happily as he ran over to the figure. It looked exactly like her. "Klunk it's me!" he shouted the Robot turned letting out some meows. "Wait…." Attila muttered. He knelt down beside the cat and put his hand out flat. The Cat didn't respond in fact its eyes seemed kind of lifeless. He put his hand down on the cat. Its body…it felt rigid like her fur was just a sheet over a frame. "You're not Klunk!" Attila shouted in anger as suddenly a bunch weird Bear Yokai came out surrounding him. They looked like something had damaged them beforehand. But had been repaired to function differently, they had saw blades spinning around at Attila as he backed up. He quickly realized they weren't Yokai at all; as several of them had sharp robotic claws out to grab Attila. He also noticed the different outfits.

"That's a lot of Canadian Bear Golems!" Attila muttered anxiously.

"Haha we meet again weirdo!" shouted a voice from the Klunk Golem that now had its mouth open. "I know you know the Tiger Man you're gonna tell me everything you know about him."

"Wait you're that hu-I mean Baxter from before!" Attila shouted back. "And what do you want with him!?" Attila growled deducing he was referring to Tiger Claw.

"I need him for my Videos to bring in even the cheapskates who never donate or subscribe!" Baxter's voice shouted.

"We're- I mean Tiger- I mean He- I mean it is not your side show attraction to make Money!" Attila shouted back angrily. He was seeing firsthand what Draxum meant about humans. Capturing Yokai for more of them to Gawk at any Yokai for monetary gain, Tiger Claw had been through enough. He glanced back at the Robots that were getting dangerously close. "Golems don't have emotions. They're just constructs! Which means my heart won't get in the way." Immediately Attila pulled out his Kurosai and began to swing it the flames instantly appeared around it. "I won't hold back!" He shouted swinging it towards one of the Golems and twisting the chain around it before spinning it and slamming it into one with a weird pirate hat.

They quickly went flying as more charged Attila quickly ducked and weaved using his Kuro-Sai to trip up two more then back flip away from an incoming saw blade and land a flame engulfed kick on the face of one that had red fur. He grabbed it before it could him and his markings lit up under his disguise before slamming it down hard. It shattered instantly. He rolled out of the way of a dog pile from the Golems before using his Kurosai to grab a large nearby dumpster and effortlessly lift it with ease and slam it down on a couple of them. The rest of them managed to jump back and move away.

He dodged quickly away from several more with the heads of which detaching from the bodies as Attila expertly destroyed them. He jumped up as the bear heads shot out rockets he let his Kurosai spin wildly like a fire cracker into the air the rockets following to the best of their ability before the razor ball at the end quickly came down with the rockets exploding into each other. The Orb came down as the chain stretched out around all three and raced into the ground before slamming and destroying the heads.

As several more rushed at him Attila quickly spun his Kurosai unleashing a large red torrent of red flames that quickly engulfed the bears and send them right into a nearby building all charred and defeated.

"It was then the Klunk Golem transformed into something unrecognizable. But large and with glowing red eyes a thin neck and flat head with a fin. Large for arms attached to large shoulders with fins. A large round body with a red light in the center and large legs with joints attachments visible on the hip.

It summoned a large saw blade. Attila dodged away, he found himself automatically using the Capoeira moves to dodge out of the way of a furry of attacks. He noted the red center on the middle of the golem he had to strike there. Another Saw blade came down as he rolled out of the way. He twirled his Kuro-Sai looking for an opening as he used his flame shield to keep the saws at bay one of them melted instantly as it tried to cut through the fire.

He tied the arms of the robot together as soon as he got a moment and slammed it over his shoulder before jumping up and having the razor ball at the end of the weapon fly quickly down towards the chest. Suddenly a laser appeared from it knocking the weapon back as Attila twisted and turned in the air to dodge it as he did his shoulder pack fell to the ground his disguise disappearing along with it as he let the weapon's chain stretch out again and do one twist around the robot before the weapon gracefully landed in Attila's open hand charging magic into the chains he yanked with all of his might cutting the robot in two even striking the weak point as the bottom half fell to its knees and fell over the back hit the ground behind it and both parts exploded. Attila covered his eyes against the smoke hoping he could breathe again quickly as the smoke quickly cleared. When he opened his eyes he saw familiar turtle hands and realized his bag had fallen off.

"Oh no!" he gasped looking around and racing towards the bag and grabbing it however before he could put it back on….

"An Actual Turtle man!" shouted Baxter's voice he saw the small boy staring back at him with his phone out. Attila felt his blood run cold his mind racing. He had just exposed all of Yokai kind! His head was spinning trying to figure out what to do as his eyes went wide. He started to breathe rapidly. "I can't believe this I'm gonna be famous!" he said before something grabbed his phone and roared loudly with intense ferocity that Baxter had screamed and dropped the phone. Tiger Claw quickly grabbed it and crushed it before running at Attila before running off with him under one arm while he held the shoulder bag in the other. He quickly disappeared down the alley way as Baxter rushed over to the phone. He pulled out a scrap one he had and began trying to extract data from the broken phone with his lap top. He managed to download the contents.

"The Data is Corrupt." The computer replied.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Baxter screamed into the heavens as two mysterious figures with only floating candle light illuminated their features.

"I didn't know there were more of those Turtles," Said a deep burly voice quizzically, "Why is he out here all alone?"

"Who knows," Replied a raspy voice, "But I've never seen someone with skill and power like that in all my years. And the colors of those flames! They weren't even at the limit of their intensity. He's perfect!"

"So the search is over?" The Burly voice asked.

"Indeed," the Raspy one replied as the slunk back into the shadows.

"Are you insane!?" Tiger Claw shouted. "Why wasn't the Pin on your shirt instead of a bag that could fall off you!? And why did you just stand there like a deer in headlights you were this close to getting caught and exposed! And who the Hell knows what would've happened to you next!"

Attila hung his head, "You're right….now I've doomed all of Yokai kind!" he whimpered placing his head in his hands. "I didn't mean too I'm sorry…."

Tiger Claw sighed. "I wouldn't go that far. But to be safe I smashed the Phone before we left. I doubt anyone is going to believe a brat who apparently screwed with his parent's store for a Youtube Video."

"So they're safe?" Attila asked.

"I think so," Tiger Claw replied. "They're not the ones that would've been hauled off to a science center somewhere later today. Humans are…stubborn about things and fear what they don't understand and if they want to hate something they will in spite of it being right or wrong."

"And they won't understand us." Attila muttered sadly.

"Some will," Tiger Claw said thoughtfully. He seemed to be in a memory Attila couldn't tell what, "You just need to be more careful okay. You made a mistake it's not the end of the world."

"Okay," Attila sniffled wiping his eyes. He hung his head staring at the picture. If he and Klunk could go somewhere where Humans and Draxum couldn't find them, where they could live and be free and happy, play like they used too that was all he wanted honestly. Somewhere safe for them, it wasn't fair why did he have to dragged into this whole mess by Draxum. He shook the thought out of his head. Draxum demanded payment for his existence of course he'd pick this. Attila sighed sadly as he mindlessly adjusted the pin so it was on his shirt instead.

"Hey listen," Tiger Claw said snapping him out of his stupor.

"Someone saw your cat south of here." Tiger Claw said.

"Really!?" Attila asked jumping up and running in the direction before Tiger Claw can say anything else. He couldn't be worrying about the kid. He could barely get his own life off the ground. At least that's what he thought before it started storming later that night when he was awakened by strong clang of thunder quickly followed by a flash of lighting.

"You're an idiot Tiger Claw why did you let him go!" Tiger Claw growled to himself in the small apartment he managed to get before the night was out. He pulled on some pants and rushed to the door. "He's thirteen! It's New York in 2018! It's the middle of September! Winter is coming and he's a turtle and you just let him-" The Minute he opened the door lighting and thunder collided again as a familiar figure with two Gargoyles appeared at the door. It took Tiger Claw a minute to process what he was looking at. He knew thought. "Eff you," Tiger Claw said simply.

"Charming," Draxum drawled with disgust as he forced his way in, "I see you survived as well."

"And?" Tiger Claw asked.

"I'm finding a lot of my experiments have survived as of late." He replied looking around the room. The Gargoyles seemed to be a bit curious about one of the Game set ups he had. Tiger Claw flicked them away. "Good for you, too bad I don't care." Tiger Claw drawled.

"I'm more concerned about the one I salvaged, Attila. I believe you're familiar with him?" Draxum asked.

"Nope," Tiger Claw replied coldly. "Even if I was I wouldn't tell you," He added.

"I think it would be in your best interest to do so." Draxum replied. "I found where you live did I not?"

"You don't scare me," Tiger Claw growled rearing back a fist but he suddenly felt a bunch of vines around him they felt incredibly sharp just by resting on his skin one wrong move and he'd be skewered. He let out an actual Tiger growl.

"Too slow physically and mentally, you're no longer a mere human I made you something more!" Draxum noted.

"But I'm nothing to you." Tiger Claw growled.

"No, I'm searching for my Master Piece," Draxum replied speaking of the kid like he was a Robot or a machine or even a piece of art. Tiger Claw glared at him Draxum noticed he emotionally stared back. "And there will be consequences if you get in my way. I have my ways to watch you even now." he replied. "Remember that," he said leaving.

Tiger Claw growled he looked around the room as soon as Draxum left. He couldn't find anything of course it wouldn't be easy to find and destroy. He groaned. He wracked his brain looking out the window. He had one idea but it would have to wait till the storm cleared.

Attila was hiding in the subway again watching as rain poured into the underground station from the stairs. He sighed curling up on the bench he was one. "Klunk please be safe…." He muttered to himself unaware that a few miles from him, Klunk had curled up under a porch and watched the water fall around her. "Atti…."

So I'm wondering if anyone noticed that the flames on the Kurosai so far have been red as opposed to the show's Orange that they have. What was said about intensity should've pointed that out. Yeah, I'll explain fully at a later date but let your minds wander about that for now! Also this was a shorter chapter I'm very surprised how fast this came out!
