Investigation Manifestation!
Attila lay in his hammock he stared at the ceiling. He wanted to get to know April, be more comfortable with her. His brothers loved her. He wanted to too. He also never had a sister before. He sat up as Klunk was purring at his side. She saw him leave and jumped onto his shoulder. He had put on his pants with the orange hoody he had yesterday.
Attila left the Lair as he headed to where Donnie told him his address was at. It was a tall building full of tiny houses called apartments. April was on the third floor. He looked for a way to climb up to avoid all the other humans living there. He still was nervous around humans. But he had so far seen many similarities between Humans and Yokai. There were celebrity Yokai and humans like the Dunk who was mean. There were nice and mean Yokai too. But that didn't stop him from at the back of his mind reflecting on some of the stuff Draxum told him.
"Humans reject anything that isn't their own kind. Even superfluous differences will make them lash out in cruelty. They've done horrible things to their own kind. Imagine what they would do to a Yokai that was caught on the surface!"
"They know nothing but destruction. They're selfish, self-righteous creatures that stole the surface from the Yokai."
"They are prophesied to seek us out and destroy us!"
"One look at you and they'll attack you. And with your bleeding heart I highly doubt you'll survive."
That last one hadn't happened, not the way Draxum said it would at least. Dunk despite how mean he was, didn't really seem to care about how they looked other than the oddly green skin. Maybe because he wasn't as down to earth? And The first thing Baxter had wanted to do when he saw Yokai and Mutants was exploit them for profit; But if more humans were nice and didn't care or try to exploit them then maybe….
"AAHHHH!" screamed what he realized was April's voice. He had realized that he had been staring through April's window he yelped flailing and falling back he groaned hitting his head and back as the window opened. "Attila?" she asked having calmed herself down a little. "What are you doing here?" she asked.
"Uhh well, my brothers seem to like you. I just wanted to get more comfortable around you. And maybe be friends too?" he asked blushing.
April smiled. "Of course you can," she said softly. "Maybe, you can help me with something." She said as she let him in.
"What is it?" Attila asked.
"It's for a journalism project." She said holding it up as Attila saw it was about the Night Watcher.
"I do want to see if he's someone I know, what are you gonna do if he's a Yokai or a Mutant." Attila asked his heart racing mentally kicking himself for asking.
"Say I didn't find out. I doubt anyone would believe me anyway." April replied simply with a shrug. Attila let out a huge sigh of relief, but tried to hide it. Klunk and Mayhem were playing Klunk was chasing after Mayhem's fluffy tail Attila watched them for a bit but felt an awkward.
"Uhh you're interested in journalism?" Attila asked.
"Yeah gonna put the truth back in it too." April replied.
"It's all lies these days and you want to fix that wow!" Attila muttered sparkly eyed.
"Yup, it's gonna be hard work. But nothing is gonna stop April O'Neil!" she declared vigorously.
"Yay April O'Neil!" Attila cheered.
"Yay!" Klunk added.
"Okay where do we start?" Attila asked.
"Well after tracking his movements for a while. I've determined that wherever the Foot Clan shows up. He's sure to follow." April explained.
"Hmm so the Night Watcher is trying to stop the Foot Clan's evil scheme. But what's that scheme anyway." Attila hummed thoughtfully a hand to his chin.
"That's what I don't know. Want to go see if we can't find out?" April asked.
"Yeah!" Attila declared as they headed out. Klunk lay happily in the hood of Attila's hoodie as they began to stake out the area. There was suddenly a vroom sound that Attila recognized.
"There's the Night Watcher!" he said pointing out the black and silver figure on a new Blue Motorcycle rushing towards central park.
"I thought his Motorcycle was black, what happened to it?" April asked.
"Oh Leo Portal chopped the other one." Attila replied simply.
"He what?!" April muttered surprised as Mayhem looked surprised as well. Attila explained as they rushed after the Night Watcher as quick as they could. But with Central park being so huge, they had quickly lost sight of him especially when the Motorcycle stopped running.
But they had found themselves around the area of the Zoo. Attila tilted his head as he saw it. "Huh that's weird, Yokai have their own Zoo too. "There are animalistic Yokai like Klunk that they have live in there." He explained.
"Really interesting," April replied as they suddenly saw the Night Watcher was watching something. The two gasped and rushed over and watched they had followed his line of sight to see three figures moving around in the Warthog enclosure. It snorted its ears twitching wildly as they grabbed some hair from its mane.
Attila recognized one of them. "It's that crazier than you, Foot Girl!" he hissed as April gave him a look. "Sorry," he muttered as he watched. She was with two other boys not much older than April. One of them had a black leather jacket and blue jeans and a white shirt he was the shortest with caramel skin and had a bright light purple corn locks in a ponytail but the rest of his hair had been styled in a way to resemble a Mohawk. The tallest had darker skin than his brother. He had a combat jacket and seemed to be wearing shoulder pads. He had Cargo shorts and combat boots. He also had thick but straight black hair poking out from a combat helmet. They had snuck off once they had gotten out of the Warthog enclosure."
"Come on!" April said to Attila and Klunk as they raced after them.

The last animal they had to extract DNA from. The Black Rhinoceros that was asleep in its enclosure. Foot Recruit stared at their target intently: "Our Final Target!" She said intensely, she was ready to jump in when Riley pulled her back.
"Hey! We're not talking about your average predator or some wild pig. "Rhinos are tough and territorial! Easily spoked from their piss poor sight, what we need is the delicate touch of a professional." He warned her.
"HA!" Foot Recruit replied smirking widely. "I am a Professional," she sneered cheekily sliding off. She landed expertly onto the ground below, only to immediately be grabbed and pulled up. "HEY!" she yelped hissing as she flailed wildly in the grip of the Night Watcher.
"So are you suicidal or…." The Night Watcher asked her as she kicked him in the head he groaned letting her go as she freed herself and readied a pair of large daggers.
"Night Watcher my sword enemy, I will smash your guts into guts bits! GUTS BITS!" she shouted rushing forward with her two daggers only for the Night Watcher to sigh and hold a hand out. The top of her head crashed into it and was held in place. The Night Watcher merely stared annoyed under his helmet as she flailed her arms wildly trying to slash at him.
"Any other crazy Foot Clan members I should know about?" Night Watcher deadpanned.
The two nearby brothers laughed standing back to back. "So you invoke the wrath of the Rodríguezes brothers?" Asked the smaller one Riley declared.
"Be warned Night Watcher we are gathering the power to destroy and soon you fall to our hands!" Rico added.
"As opposed to now?" Night Watcher asked quizzically. The two brothers looked at each other and growled as Foot Recruit broke away from Night Watcher's grip.
"Attack him!" Recruit shouted.
"Hit him till he dies!" the brothers added as they attacked wildly but the Night Watcher just stood there occasionally blocking a hit or two as Klunk, April and Attila watched.
"They're weird," Klunk muttered.
"Yeah, and crazy," Attila agreed. "The Night Watcher is getting more and more familiar though especially from the back." he muttered trying to remember where he saw that shape when an angry roar and loud thunderous stomping suddenly ran out.
The Night Watcher looked up to see the Rhino rushing at them he quickly grabbed all three children and jumped out of the enclosure right over the heads of the three onlookers.
He sighed in relief. However Riley immediately pulled out a knife and stabbed Night Watcher in a place where Armor wasn't covering. Night Watcher let out a roar of agony in the sound of a Tiger that made Attila's blood freeze then boil instantly as the helmet came off confirming suspicious.
"AHH DRAXUM WAS RIGHT!" Shouted Rico in shock when he saw ice blue eyes stare at them in fury. Then all three teens were thrown hard away from Tiger Claw who fell to his knees in pain, groaning in pain.
Attila realized what had happened. He immediately pulled out his Kurosai and began swinging it wildly as Klunk had jumped onto April's head in slight fear. "Atti!"
"He's in a blind rage!" April muttered in shock. It was then Attila's flames had gone from their usual Red shades to an intense white and pale gold.
"That's the turtle we've gotta bring back!" Riley said as he dodged another swing from Attila who was ranting at them.
"HE SAVED YOU AND YOU STABBED HIM! HE WAS TRYING TO HELP YOU! YOU HURT HIM! YOU MONSTERS! HOW COULD YOU!" he screamed swinging it wildly the three were dodging from the attack April could feel the heat from the attack When Rico Dodged the lock that lead to the door of the Rhino exhibit swung wide open as his startled the Rhino. In sheer fear and rage the Rhino charged. Attila saw this and froze in fear.
"APRIL O'NEEEILLLLL!" she shouted jumping on the back of the Rhino and pulling the ears back making it rear back and thrash and even more angrier. It then started charging at the three Foot Ninja who ran towards Attila and Klunk who had jumped into the formers arms both screamed as the Box Turtle took off running.
Tiger Claw meanwhile had activated his Taser glove and cauterized the stab wound. He groaned as he shook off the shock. "Damn brats." He growled before turning to see the Rhino chasing Attila said brats back and forth with a girl holding onto the Rhino for dear life. He rushed past the fleeing quartet and grabbed the Rhino's horn trying to stop it from charging as April slid off, she saw Attila and Klunk getting grabbed by the two brothers.
"Mm!" Attila screamed under Rico's hand as the large Teen had covered his mouth while using his other hand to pin the turtle against his chest. However he was suddenly hit with a baseball bat expertly swung by April. He groaned as Attila got away attacking Riley to free Klunk who jumped into his arms as they hugged. April pulled Attila behind her to protect him like Donnie had.
The Foot Recruit charged at her the two began to fiercely clash as the Rhino threw off Tiger Claw before charging out of the Zoo. "It's getting away!" Riley shouted as they raced off after the Rhinoceros.
"What did I just do!?" Attila screamed to the heavens feeling horrible. I unleashed a giant monstrous animal into New York!" he groaned falling to the ground to his knees as Klunk tried to comfort him.
"At least you didn't get stabbed for nothing." Tiger Claw muttered. "They're not after their usual target, they're targeting animal DNA."
"COPPER IS NOT WORTH GETTING STABBED FOR!" Attila shouted angrily.
"That's not what they're after." Tiger Claw said simply brushing off Doctor Delicate touch.
"Then what is it?" April asked.
"I'm not telling you," Tiger Claw said as he began to go after the Rhino. "Someone's got to get that Rhino back."
"But you're hurt!" Attila protested.
"I can take care of myself." Tiger Claw replied placing his helmet back on and heading to his Motorcycle to take off.
April began to take off. "You're not going after that huge thing are you?!" Attila asked noticing she was going in the same direction as Tiger Claw.
"I gotta find out more!" April replied.
"But it's big scary and runs everywhere!" Attila whimpered. But April was already gone he ran after her not wanting her to get hurt. "You never think no story is worth the pain?!" he asked.
"Don't worry I've handled worse!" April replied. "Like that Draxum guy, besides we just have to approach the Rhino carefully. They're only aggressive like that because they can't see well."
"So they're scared too?" Attila asked.
"Yeah and after getting woken up like he was I'd be scared and pissed too." April added.
"Yeah," Attila replied.
"Help Rhino!" Klunk declared from inside Attila's hood.
"Yeah I let it out we've gotta get it back!" Attila agreed. The three headed off.

"Okay so we know it left the park, so the question is where do we start?" Riley asked as Rico was looking over a city map.
"It'd be nice if we had a tap into every security camera in New York app." He added.
"We need more eyes!" Recruit declared. "Riley the boss has been training you to use the Origami soldiers has he not?"
"He has and I just mastered that little trick!" Riley said quickly making some as he let them fly into the air they all landed in a square and knelt down for orders. "We're looking for a Rhino search the city; alert us when you find him!" The Paper Ninja nodded and flew off in different directions.
"Even if we find it, how are we supposed to get of a small piece of anything off a thousand pounds of tough, hide and muscle?" Rico asked worriedly.
"We break said hide and Muscle!" Foot Recruit declared loudly clenching her fist to a white knuckle.
"Yeah that's too hard even for you. But if we can get some of its Saliva we'll have what we need. "And that thing's going to be hungry eventually." As soon as he finished Foot Recruit was already off grabbing every nearby shrub and bit of bark that she could and piling it in the middle of Times Square when she finished she quickly saw that the Rhino was coming sniffing at the plants.
But suddenly the sound of a Motorcycle was rushing towards it they saw it was the Night Watcher the Rhino roared and rushed at the sound. "NOOOOOO!" All three shouted.
Meanwhile April had a bike she was using with Attila on the back and Klunk on the basket pedal after the sounds they had just heard. A Motorcycle and the Rhino roar. They arrived just into to see Tiger Claw get hit and go flying off his motorcycle he tucked and rolled as the bike was trampled.
"Seriously!? That's the second one in three days!" Tiger Claw groaned.
"What happened to the first one?" April asked with an arched eyebrow.
"Leo portal chopped it." Attila replied.
"Seriously?" April asked.
"You two again!" Recruit growled.
"That's fine we'll kill two birds with one-"Riley began when he was cut off by a loud roar. The Rhino was inches from them as Attila was snatched by Tiger Claw and April rushed one way not to far from the Foot Trio.
Attila managed to squirm away from Tiger Claw and threw his Kurosai it wrapped around the Rhino's horn as he tried to pull it back and catch it.
"Attila!" Tiger Claw shouted as Attila and Klunk went flying the small kitten clinging with her claws on Attila's back for dear life. April wasn't far behind as they raced after them her getting some head on her bike.
They then saw the two go flying after the chain accidentally tightened around the horn and slipped off. The two flew and landed in a dumpster as Tiger Claw rushed over and pulled them out. There wasn't any motion. Tiger Claw pulled out one claw and tapped on the top of Attila's shell.
"Attila?" he asked as Attila poked his head out and the Rock grew eyes.
"That wasn't fun," Attila muttered. He gasped. "Oh no I'm sorry!" he said quickly popping out.
"For what?" April asked.
"I went in my shell because I was scared." Attila muttered.
"So you just got thrown from a Rhino that's been charging at everything all night," April pointed out.
"It's a good thing you did, you could've been hurt same for the Rock." Tiger Claw said as Klunk shook out her fur.
"Draxum said the shell is only for defense. Other than that I shouldn't go into it especially when I get scared. I'm not even supposed to get scared." Attila replied sadly.
"That's Ridiculous everyone gets scared at times. Even TC here was scared for you." April pointed out.
Tiger Claw had some pink appear in his face. "Okay first off don't call me that! Second no!" he said.
"But you do like him." April teased. He growled folding his arms and looking away with an uncharacteristic pout.
"How do you guys know each other?" April said ignoring his reaction.
"We were both trapped in Big Mama's battle Nexus and had to escape." Attila explained.
"Why are you so interested in me by the way?" Tiger Claw asked her.
"She wants to be an investigative journalist and put truth back in the world! And she's using you for practice." Attila explained innocently.
"Oh…" Tiger Claw grumbled.
They heard something outside it was the Rhino looking tired as it was surrounded. "Leave it alone! You've tormented it all night!" Attila shouted then getting into a fighting stance.
"Bad!" Klunk said from the top of his head as Tiger Claw and April rushed to his side.
"You mentioned gathering power what does that Rhino have to do with it?" Tiger Claw asked.
"The Ooze needs to touch something or have something mixed with it, first before it can mutate anything else! They must be after Its DNA!" Attila gasped.
"Correct," Riley replied. "With Rhino DNA we'll make a Mutant that will take your friend there down!" he declared pointing at Tiger Claw.
"But what if nobody wants to be mutated to do that?" Attila asked.
"Tough!" Rico replied as they turned to the Rhino. However April had rushed forward.
"APRIL O'NEEEIIIIILLLL!" she shouted landing a swing on Riley and Rico in one swing but it was grabbed by Recruit.
"You dare get in our way!" She glared.
"Oh I dare!" she said jumped away as Casandra pulled up a broken car bumper and the two rushed at each other. They began to wildly clash against each other like a fire had gone off in both of them.
The two boys pulled themselves up when they did they rushed after the girls. Tiger Claw was trying to figure out what to do. However he already saw Attila kneeling near the Rhino.
"Hey you okay?" he whispered as Klunk was at his side.
Tiger Claw felt his desire to scream caught in his throat. If he shouted the Rhino could kill them then and there. The Rhino grunted and Klunk's ears twitched as she looked up at Atti.
"He wants to go home," Klunk said clearly. Attila looked around he found some shrubbery and held it up for the Rhino.
"Here follow me!" he whispered as the Rhino got up and began to follow the small turtle Klunk on his shoulder as Tiger Claw watched stunned he followed to make sure nothing happened.

April dodged several hits from Riley who had knuckle dusters on his hands. He had used up all the paper searching for the Rhino but was able to call several back. But April managed to cut through them all.
She then landed on Rico hitting him square between the eyes as she then swung hitting against Cassandra's Car bumper that had twisted into some kind of shape like a hockey stick.
When both the boys had tried to jump in to help Cassandra they just ended up getting hit by her by accident. "They're like locked on each other what do, we do!?" Rico asked.
"Honestly the Dragon Ball thing where we can help but we sit and watch." Riley replied.
Recruit had twirled around the bumper in her hands before landing a blow that April rolled out of the way of before swinging her leg around to hit Recruit in the face. She then followed up with a blow to the bat but she was hit with a counter attack by Recruit who had dropped kicked her. With a crazed grin she went to land a punch but April managed to flip back out of the way and get back on her feet.
She swung again as Recruit dodged and landed a kick in her stomach. She had the air knocked out of her but she saw she had been pushed near a fire extinguisher she quickly grabbed it and activating it Spraying Recruit as she went in for a deadly blow allowing her to swing her bat and knock her into a nearby sub train just as the doors closed and it took off. Trapped Recruit plastered her face against the glass and screamed at April as it took her away.
"Ahhh we gotta get to the next stop!" Riley shouted as he and Rico rushed up the stairs to try and get to the train's next stop.
April huffed patting her hands to clean them as she texted Attila's phone.
"Where are you? You okay?"
"We're fine we got the Rhino back to the Zoo what about you?" Attila replied.
"I'll be right there!" April replied

Tiger Claw and Attila waited at the gate. They had locked the Rhino back into its enclosure. Fortunately it wasn't hurt just exhausted but it looked like the tip of its horn had been chipped off. Either way the ordeal was over as April arrived.
"How'd you guys get it back!?" April asked.
"Attila coaxed it back here. I'm actually impressed." Tiger Claw admitted.
"Well, when they're not scared or threatened their actually real nice." April pointed out. "They don't see too good especially in the dark. So your Motorcycle scared it."
"Oh," Tiger Claw muttered.
"How much about animals do you know?" April asked curiously.
"Uhhhhh, I can tell you about Tigers." Tiger Claw replied somewhat dumbly.
"I'm just glad I could fix my mistake." Attila sighed.
"That was more like an accident." Tiger Claw pointed out.
"Hey TC think you can-"April asked turning to try and interview him but he was already gone.
With the Foot Trio Recruit had marched off the train with a scowl. "That braaat!" she snarled. "I SHALL HAVE MY REVENGE!" she declared loudly.
"Looks like we're one animal short after all of that!" Riley growled.
"I wouldn't say that," Rico replied holding up in his hand a small piece of the Rhino's horn. "I don't know how but we got a piece of it's horn!" he said as the other two grinned at it evilly with him. Soon Tiger Claw would be a memory.
