Sparring Partner
Attila went down the ramp with a slight scream, he had already fallen once. However he tried to remember. What Leo and Donnie told him, he attempted again. "Go Atti!" Klunk cheered.
"Yeah go Atti!" Leo added happily. Attila felt determined as he zipped down he had gotten to the top and tried to angle, himself in the air to circle around when…
BOOOOMMM! Attila screamed and managed to fall back on the other side of the Ramp. He saw the others had heard it too. "Did that come from the Tank Garage!?" Leo yelped.
"No, no, no, no. No, there is definitely nothing wrong with my tank because it for sure, doesn't back fire for no reason sometimes." Donnie protested.
"Fix the tank." Klunk told him.
"You cannot fix what is not broken Klunk." Donnie replied matter-factly noting all the damage from the Derby was repaired. Attila had heard the sound last night. The one he just heard was the same, so chances are Raph was sparring with his Paper Ninja again.
"You know it was probably a monster Yokai in the Hidden City. They're like extremely loud. I used to hear them all the time at Draxum's Lab." Attila pointed out.
"You think we're right above the Hidden city?" Leo asked quizzically.
"Yes," Attila said with a firm nod and tone. The Crashing came again, they had all jumped.
"I think we should check it out." Leo said as he stood up.
"Uhh Klunk want to fly high one day!" She suddenly shouted making eye contact with Attila who nodded in understanding.
"Oh yeah, you like the idea of flying don't you!" Attila said.
"Yeah!" Klunk said excitedly her ears straight up in excitement.
"Think you can make bigger wings again?" Attila said.
"Yeah!" Klunk said as she knelt down concentrating as hard as she could the wings she produced were white with bits of orange at the tip and a brown inside. They were the size of a sparrow's not nearly large enough to lift her. She tried anyway.
"FLLLYYYY!" she shouted falling to the ground and huffing as Attila gently picked her up and gave her a pat.
"We're not good at wings yet." He said.
"Try thinking bigger with the wings." Leo suggested.
"Not too big we don't want her whacking anything." Donnie added. It was working but their hope of making the two forget about the sound died when it came around again a third time.
"Come on!" Leo said rushing towards the garage Donnie right behind him as Klunk and Attila looked at each other nervously.
Leo snuck up to the door his back against it as he knocked on the shut garage door. Suddenly Raph's voice cheered out. "Whoo, hooo! That's the stuff."
"Oh no," Attila hissed in his thoughts.
"Raph is that you?" Leo asked.
"NO! I mean- yes!" he quickly replied. "Why would I speak and then it not be me? Hehe."
"See it was just Raph let's go now!" Attila said trying to pull his brothers away but they slipped their arms out of his grip.
"Can we come in?" Donnie asked with an arched eyebrow.
"Just a sec!" Raph replied as there was more crashing and running around eventually they heard heavy footsteps belonging to their brother rushing to the door. He opened it from the floor.
"Hey it's my brothers! What brings you all to the lair?" Raph asked nervously looking up at them.
"We live here." Attila replied as Donnie and Leo pulled up the Garage door and jumped in looking around a bit tense.
"What was all that noise?" Leo asked looking around the room suspiciously.
"What noise?" Raph asked. Leo then took note of the small training dummies Attila saw a while back set up around the room.
"Was, that just you setting up our next sparring session?" Leo suggested.
"Yes it was!" Attila said quickly. "I've been dying to play my first game of capture the bandana!"
"Yeah!" Raph added. "It was that and nothing else!"
"Alright usual rules: first to grab a bandana, other than his own color is the winner!" Donnie declared as Klunk hopped up on a shelf to watch. Attila rushed over to the Orange Bandana which he had picked because of Klunk and he liked how the color looked regardless. Raph got nervous.
"I'm not really in the mood to play." Raph suddenly said as the twins looked at him Attila flailing at him that he should behind them.
"Then why'd you set it up?" Leo asked. Raph gasped as Attila sighed in relief.
"Oh that's right I am in the mood to play!" Raph stated getting in front of his red bandana.
"Dude what is with you?" Donnie asked as Attila got nervous Klunk jumped into his arms and changed into an air horn and whispered something to him. He acted quickly with the instructions.
"Donnie VS. Raph go!" he shouted hating the sound as Donnie jumped a little. He pulled out his tech Bo and rushed forward giving it a twirl.
"Taste my bandana fury!" He shouted going to strike against Raph. But Raph merely took the hit looking down where Donnie was trying to jab him.
"Ya gotta put your back into it with a thrust!" Attila shouted as Donnie did just that with slightly better results. Raph then proceeded to fall over despite the attack having no effect.
"Oh, wow Donnie you are so strong!" he monotoned as he fell to the floor.
"A Quadruple, threat my friend: Strong, funny, amusing and hilarious!" he said taking Raph's bandana.
"Waiiiittt," Attila hummed to himself wondering if Hilarious and amusing were the same or not."
"Kind of looked like Raph took a dive," Leo replied sipping his tea.
"Please, Leo." Donnie dismissed. "You forget Einstein's law of Brains over Brawn."
Attila smiled waving a flag he found as Klunk sat on his head.
"Right uhhh good game then!" Raph said quickly shoving them out.
"Wasn't that amazing?" Attila asked as soon as the door shut, with the biggest smile he could muster.
"You didn't even get to play." Leo said with an arched eyebrow.
"It seems that way because we had so much fun. Let's go skate some more!" he said pulling them out of the room.
Raph listened to them leave and silently thanked Attila. However he scoffed at Donnie's words as he patted off his hands. "Einstein's brain over brawn, of course I took a dive." Raph said heading to the closet to let Buddy out. "So I can get back to my real bandana game with my sparring partner!" he said moving the table away from the closet he kept the Ninja in.
Buddy growled a bit before laughing and threw a couple of punches that Raph blocked. "Piecing a Paper Ninja back together was genius." He said to himself before smirking at Buddy. "I'm not letting you grab a bandana!" He said blocking several of the Ninja's punches before using his Tongas to block a flurry of them. "Nope I'm not! He's as good as new!" he said swinging a punch but it had messed up Buddy's face. One eye going to the top of his head, "Oh buddy your eye, well almost new…I'll fix that later!" he said with a nervous look.
"Raph's gonna beat ya!" he shouted rushing towards the blue bandana.
"No Blue!" Buddy growled landing a powerful punch on Raph that sent him skidding across the room into the door. He saw Buddy going towards his Red bandana but Raph was quick to tackle Buddy into the Turtle tank and pin him.
"Ha! You're not winning that easily." He said as Buddy was suddenly distracted by a big red button that shimmered in the light. He let out a sound of desire.
"Now what's the rule we only touch Red, Blue, Orange or Purple Bandanas!" Raph warned.
"Yeeee!" Buddy replied pressing it. A Bowling ball suddenly launched bouncing around the room as Attila came on.
"You guys are being too noisy-WAAAHH!" he screamed jumping into his shell as it ripped off one of Buddy's legs smashed a lamp and slammed Raph into the wall.
"Raph!" Attila cried popping out of his shell, as he and Buddy rushed over to him.
"Buddy!" the Ninja screeched out sadly.
Raph groaned but sat up no worse for wear. "Accidents happen, it's all good."
Attila sighed in relief as he glanced over at Buddy who was holding his missing leg. "We should probably fix that."
"I'm on it!" Raph declared as he pulled out some silver roll of weird paper. "Does someone need Raphie's help?" He asked in a baby tone as he took Franken foot's leg and began fixing it. "I can't begin to imagine a nicer sparring partner than you buddy, you're perfect!" Raph said happily.
Attila smiled being reminded of him and Klunk. However they noticed the foot Raph had taped the foot on backwards. "Except for that," he muttered.
"Come on Attila! Aren't you skating?" Leo called.
"Uhhh coming!" Attila shouted rushing back out to the skate ramp.
"I'll be right there," Raph called after him before turning to Franken foot and pushing him into the closet. "I've gotta go bye-bye we'll tussle again tomorrow!"
"Buddy!" he replied pleadingly.
"Sorry Buddy you can't come!" Raph explained. Franken foot let out a sad grumble.
"I know, I know, I'll miss you too!" Raph assured. "And remember keep it down if Donnie or Leo find you. You'll be confetti before you can say: eehhhuggg." Buddy eye frowned letting out a moan. "Exactly," he stated.
"Buddyyyy," the Ninja said as Raph slammed the door unaware that he had cut off his hand in the process and was already out of the room when Franken foot opened the door and as his hand climbed up to the table to get glue. "Buddy?"

Attila was watching Leo skate up and down the Ramp he was balancing with one hand upside down using the other to help fold the skateboard under his feet. "You what random thought just popped into my head?"
"That, we should never worry about any loud sounds in the garage, ever again?" Attila asked.
"What? No, how annoying those paper Ninja's are. Yeah they're easy to take out but they get everywhere." Leo replied. "I'm still finding confetti, from the last time we fought them." he said before heading back down the ramp as Attila and Raph looked at each other nervously. He came back then added. "The worst part is when the confetti gets your shell."
"I guess it was smart to wear a shirt, haha." Attila muttered his head sinking down a bit into said shirt.
"I should work on something for that. But for now, I have been working on a shredding attachment for the next time we cross paths!" he said showing a small disk like attachment on his TechBo with large razor blades surrounding it like a star. He revved it up with maniacal laughter as Attila, Klunk and Raph shrieked nervously.
"Good thing none of our close personal friends are made out of paper." Raph said nervously.
"Uhh so theory, what if say something not a Paper Ninja, was attached to a mystical network spell. But was broken then put back together and no longer under that spell and still able to move around but completely docile?" Attila as
"No," both twins said at once as Leo went back down the Ramp again. As he did though he suddenly went flying as Attila gasped Donnie rushed over to his twin as more, white gunk came down. He and Raph yelped and looked up. There was buddy holding glue and slathering it all over his arm which had ripped at some point.
Attila immediately started climbing up the lair to get to the Paper Ninja as the twins investigated the glue. "There appears to be some gunk on the ramp," Donnie deduced "Perhaps we should crane our necks upwards from whence it came?" Donnie said as he and Leo began too.
"PLAAAAYYYY!" Klunk said rapidly swatting at Leo and Donnie effectively making them look, away as they tried to shoo her off. Attila managed to get up to the rafters in the lair.
"Buddy come here, I can help you but you can't-"
"UHH!" the Ninja yelped as his hand fell.
"GAH!" Attila yelped holding his hands to his head as it fell, Raph immediately back-flipped over them and grabbed it with a laugh holding it behind his back.
"What, is with you two!?" Leo said keeping a still swatting Klunk at arm's length. "Why are you both acting so crazy?!"
"Not crazy, you crazy!" Klunk immediately said.
"Yeah what she said!" Raph chuckled, but yelped when the hand yanked his bandana. "So how about we all hang out in our rooms for three to five minutes!"
"Come on!" Donnie groaned.
"We are skating!" Leo protested as both Attila and Franken foot fell behind them.
"Eep!" Klunk yelped.
"Hey actually we should hang out right here and never look at what's behind us!" Raph said grabbing the two and hugging them against his chest as the hand patted Leo's head. Raph watched as Attila rushed after Buddy who was trying to skate himself before falling over. He went into Donnie's room and picked up a stapler and played with it tapping on the tech-Bo that still had its shredder attachment, Attila snatched it away.
"No! Buddy only touch, bandanas!" Attila hissed in a whisper.
"What did he say?" Donnie asked.
"Uhh nobody touch banana's they're slimy!" Raph said.
"Hey where is Attila anyway?" Leo asked.
"Here I am!" Klunk said turning into Attila as the actual Attila was trying to pull Franken foot out of the room but he wasn't complying.
"But now Klunk is gone." Donnie noted as she changed back.
"Hi!" She said in Donnie's point of view.
"But now Attila's gone!" Leo said as Klunk quickly changed back.
"Where's Klunk?" changing back.
"HI!" Klunk said.
"And Attila?" Leo asked. She rushed over to where Leo could see.
"Hey there!" she grinned waving as Attila.
"Klunk!?" Donnie asked. She changed back this became a revolving door of transformations until Raph spoke up.
"They're both here! No need to ask about either of them!" Raph said as Klunk was panting on the ground thoroughly exhausted. Attila had managed to get Franken foot across the hall towards the garage door.
"Hey you know what we should do! Get ready for Patrol right this minute!" Attila suggested trying to push Franken Foot into the hall towards the Garage.
"Buddy!" he growled as Attila shushed him.
"Oohhh, now it makes sense, you guys are both itching to make paper scraps! You both could've just said you were, stir crazy." Leo assured.
"Oh yeah totally stir crazy I must think about how much I need to run around outside at night about twenty times a day!" Attila declared.
"Yeah, I hate those paper jerks!" Raph said nervously. Attila blanched and waved at him frantically to stop as Buddy slumped, listening looking heart broken. "Any moment I'm not slicing a paper jerk into jerk confetti is a wasted jerk moment, bunch of jerks!" he declared as Attila faced palmed.
"He doesn't mean you!" Attila whispered desperately to Franken Foot who was tearing up in his blue eyes. He pushed Attila down as he jumped out of the lair his hand following Klunk, Raph and Attila teared up lips trembling as his sobs soon faded.
"And the hug is still going," Leo noted.
"Yeah Good times we should do it again!" Raph said.
"Yeah but let's go on patrol right now, I'll bring Klunk see ya!" Attila said as he and Raph rushed out of the lair as fast as they could.
"They're acting really weird." Donnie muttered. "Not even Raph weird, like Todd weird."
"They're hiding something, come on!" Leo said to Donnie as they followed.

Bebop and Rocksteady had gone on a mission of their own. As well as train some more. At least with their help the resistance from Tiger Claw had been managed somewhat. The Foot Shack would open soon right now he was working with a Lou Jitsu exercise video mimicking the star's movements on screen.
The door suddenly slammed open jump scaring him as Recruit's voice rang out. "A Pressing development sensei!" she shouted.
"Let me guess you want to smash and or demolish something?" Foot Lieutenant pointedly replied.
"No! I mean okay if you insist!" Recruit replied chopping away at a nearby broom cutting it into pieces as she took a stance her eyes glimmering with the desire to kill. "I have spotted one of our Origami soldiers loose in the city!"
"What is he doing out there alone?" Lieutenant asked.
"Attacking!" Recruit answered pulling out a Kunai. "May I join him in wiping out peasants ONE SPECK AT A TIME!?" she asked with intense focus and seriousness on her face.
Lieutenant exhaled deeply, Yoga clearly wasn't working. "You really need a hobby. But let's get to the bottom of this!" he said leaping into action recruit not far behind him.

"Buddy, come back! Raph didn't mean it!" Attila shouted as Raph hopped across from him on the roof.
"Buddy, where are you Buddy!?" he shouted.
"Buddy! Come home!" Klunk added hovering with her tiny wings as she fell, Attila catching her.
"There you all are. What's with the secrecy?" Leo asked as he and Donnie appeared behind them.
Attila froze trying to remain silent as Raph chuckled. "Brothers!" he said "What are you doing here."
Attila immediately started stuttering as Donnie jumped over them to look down at the Roof the minute screaming hit the air. "Hold that thought looks like someone's attacking." He said.
Attila Raph and Klunk gasped. "Bu-Bu-Pu-Paper Ninja!" Attila corrected out as they watched Buddy attack everyone and everything in a Red Bandana. And once he stole them he'd rip them apart as he let out screaming sobs.
"Huh, he's only attacking people in Red bandanas. It's like someone who wore a red bandana really hurt this guy's feelings once, strange." Leo theorized as Raph sniffled.
"We've gotta calm him down." Attila thought to himself but quickly getting an idea. "I call Dibs on shredding him!" he shouted jumping down after Franken Foot.
"No we only call dibs on skate ramps pizza and Donnie's stuff!" Leo shouted rushing after him.
"Hey!" Donnie shouted flying with his jet pack.
"Or maybe we shouldn't shred him that seems fair!" Raph shouted from behind him.
"I don't know what's with you today but I'm calling your share of the confetti and Donnie's!"
"Heeeey!" Donnie growled following him. Attila tried to run faster and lose Leo as he could see Buddy run into a bandana factory as he jumped onto the roof. He jumped in.
"Buddy it's me! Attila," he said as Buddy began tearing into a box of bandanas that were red. He tried tying an orange one on and tied it like a headband over the top of his head. He rushed over to him across from the box. He looked up at Attila sniffling. "Hey Buddy its okay, don't be sad, Raph didn't mean-"
"BUUUDDDDYYYY!" he growled throwing a punch as both he and Klunk ducked. "Not Buddies!" he growled going to attack.
"Wait please, listen!" Attila cried blocking the punches with his arms and dodging constantly as Klunk held on to his back.
"Raph not bad!" she protested from behind Attila as Buddy jumped up for a punch that Attila moved away from. Attila fell back only to fall through a portal with Klunk. Leo stood there with his arms open ready to catch them…any minute now.
"Ahem!" Attila growled from inside a box of yellow bandanas as Klunk growled at him.
"Bad!" she growled as Leo laughed nervously. Donnie however had activated his brand new Shredding attachment.
"Arrivederci paper punk!" he shouted with a jump rearing his weapon over his head and going in for the kill as Raph screamed tackling him.
"NO!" he shouted rolling with Donnie in his arms.
"AHHHGG, what is happening!?" Donnie growled.
"I…I call dibs! Right now!" Raph shouted as the wall near them suddenly exploded open allowing Moonlight to pour in with a tall shadow in the middle belong to Foot Lieutenant.
"You all really need a Hobby!" He growled.
"Oh we got one." Leo replied as Attila and Klunk rushed over and glared up at him. "Kicking butt and taking names and you are?"
The wall below him suddenly exploded open. "Don't make us pulverize your guts into gut bits!" recruit snarled from inside the hole. She rushed up to Leo poking her finger hard in his beak. "Give us back our Origami man!"
"Okay, Raph, I'm sorry but I can't do this anymore! Leo, Donnie that Paper Ninja, over there. He's cut off from their main spell that controls the other paper ninja. Residual mystic energy is what's making him alive. But without that network spell he's harmless! The only reason he's attacking people is because Raph insulted him trying to hide him from you guys. That being said" Attila explained turning his head towards the two foot ninja. "There's no reason for you guys to pick on him so leave."
"WE WILL DO NOTHING OF THE SORT! You are so not reading our tone!" Recruit growled.
"He's ours and he's coming with us!" Lieutenant growled.
"Okay, I am very much lost! How long has this been happening!?" Leo groaned.
"All, day," Attila admitted. Raph sighed and turned to Buddy.
"What Attila said was true Buddy. I didn't mean all that stuff. I just didn't want you getting shredded." Raph said hanging his head. "Our weeks of sparring and playing capture the bandana have been the best fights of my life," He declared vigorously. "When I fight my brothers I just think about fighting you and getting rid of them. So I can fight you again."
"AWWWWW!" Attila said eyes glimmering as he held his hands against his heart Klunk watching with watery eyes as well.
"So sweet!" She said.
"You did let Donnie beat you!" Leo gasped.
"We will never know." Donnie protested.
"Yeah I did," Raph admitted as Donnie in a smaller form and higher voice protested more family.
"We will never know!" he said floating back to where he was standing.
"He's my best buddy!" Raph said patting Franken Foot. "And if anyone wants to take my buddy away." he said taking a stance and crossing his arms guarding him determinedly. "They've gotta go through me."
"And me!" Attila said getting into a fighting stance.
"And me!" Klunk added jumping down and puffing up her fur with a yowl.
Franken Foot gasped laying his head. On Raph's shell incredibly touched. "Buudddddiesssss!" he whimpered happily.
"Touching and in case you couldn't tell, THAT WAS SARCASM!" Recruit snapped.
"We could never let you keep him! Shred him Recruit!" Lieutenant snapped as Recruit pulled zipped forward kicking Raph and Attila away and using her foot to sweep Klunk out of the way with a yelp as she pulled out small knives and threw them at Franken Foot.
"HA KUNAI!" she shouted only for Leo to jump in and bat them away with his sword.
"Back off he's ours, apparently…" he said smiling at his brothers as Attila smiled brightly back at this.
"Okay!" Attila said jumping up and pulling out a green marker once the Foot symbol was gone from Buddy's face he replaced it with the same insignia that was on his brother's panic buttons. "There you're one of us now baby!" Attila said gleefully.
"BUDDY!" he cheered happily hugging Attila as Klunk jumped up and nuzzled the ninja from Attila's head.
"Buddy!" she said happily.
"That's right you're on our team and this fight isn't about grabbing Bandanas it's about kicking foot faces!" Raph declared, "are you with us!?"
Buddy grunted affirmatively, but was standing backwards. "Uhh this way," Attila said correcting him with a spin. Once he was right side forward he growled in a fighting stance as they charged.
Lieutenant growled throwing a bunch of his own Origami Ninja, "GET THEM!" he growled as they changed into their larger size. Attila swung his Kurosai taking a couple out as Klunk used her rapidly swiping and claws to literally saw down one.
As Foot Recruit charged at them Attila used the chain on his weapon to catch her and send her spinning rapidly into a couple more of the paper Ninja. Leo however had rushed forward and cut them all down, as Recruit rushed back at Attila and Klunk.
"GUT BIIIITTSSS!" she shouted as Attila used his weapon to fight off against her own Odachi not unlike how he fought Leo back at the lab all those weeks ago. He flipped over her as Klunk swatted at her face distracting her as Attila sent her flying with a kick.
Donnie had shredded away at a couple with his new extension as a few more charged at Raph who blocked their blows. "There's too many of them quick Buddy get to higher ground!" Raph instructed to the Good Paper Ninja who nodded and did so.
They had jumped up onto the machinery Buddy on a slightly lower level than Raph. Both fought off their own individual Ninja. Raph Punching at his opponent while Buddy's managed to punch his arm off; However, Buddy grabbed his severed arm and used it to grab the other Paper Ninja and throw him into a wall with a large button on it knocking it out as an alarm went off.
"Go, go, go! I'm right behind you Buddy!" Raph shouted punching his foe away as they headed for the higher conveyer belt. He and Buddy fought the remaining Paper Ninja while, Attila, Klunk and Leo fought Foot Recruit on a lower conveyer belt. Attila had managed to take away her Odachi and break it. But she still had her Kunais. She kicked Leo away towards a large roll of Fabric as Attila and Klunk fell back.
Leo with a laugh started running on it causing a huge amount of Fabric to get in her face. However she had quickly grabbed it and wrapped it around them.
"HAHA!" She shouted throwing them as they screamed into Donnie who had swiped through one more Ninja and then into Raph who had just jumped down. The group had gotten tangled as Attila struggled, Franken Foot rushed to their side.
"Buddies!" he cried worriedly.
"Finish them, and shred the traitor. We can take the little one back to base." Lieutenant declared as Buddy snarled at them, Mystic energy began to build up in his arms and he punched one of the Paper Ninja that were charging then began gathering with his energy all the paper bits that had been scattered around the factory some even came from inside Leo's shell.
"I knew I felt itchy." The Slider muttered as Attila stared up in awe.
"WOW!" he said in surprise as Buddy had formed a huge teal and dark red hand.
"Omigosh!" Klunk added as he raised it open palmed to slam down.
"They grow and turn on you so fast!" Lieutenant said as the attack broke the ground and caused a shock wave that sent the two flying Recruit screaming no as they glimmered into the sky.
They quickly got free in shock. "I'm calling it boys! Our Buddy is the winner!" Raph said happily as he and Leo lifted his arms up only for them to rip. They quickly used the same silver roll Attila saw earlier he grabbed.
"What is this stuff?!" Attila muttered staring at it in awe.
"It's duct tape." Donnie explained.
"Can it fix everything?!" Attila asked.
"Pretty much." Donnie replied.
"Coooooolllll" Attila said staring at it like it was a diamond.
"Thanks guys I really owe you one." Raph said.
"And we owe you one too, for throwing your fights." Leo replied.
"That can be neither be confirmed or denied!" Donnie added.
Leo rolled his eyes before nudging the Ninja. "What do you say Buddy first one to grab the red bandana wins?"
"BUDDDYYYYYY!" he cheered as they all laughed dog piling Raph in joy.

"Thigh and shoulders, Thigh and shoulders, thigh and shoulders!" Bebop and Rocksteady cheered together loudly as they both marched holding pieces of the Dark armor they had found as Recruit and Lieutenant fell down in front of them.
"Whoa what happened to you two?" Bebop asked as the two twitched.
"Do, not, ask!" Recruit muttered with a groan passing out.
