The X-Men were all in the War Room, watching the news.

On the television, a crowd of angry citizens were rioting against the existence of mutants as a reporter spoke. "Anti-mutant riots erupted today in dozens of cities across America, as crowds expressed their outrage over the kidnapping of Senator Robert Kelly by renegade mutants."

Wolverine glared at the injustice of it all. "We save the jerk's butt, and look at the thanks we get!"

"Get used to that." Danny snarked, reminded of all the "thanks" he got from Amity Park.

Danny had been angered to know that, despite stopping the assassination, the future was still in peril. It was just like when he caught Dan in the thermos. He thought it was all going to work out, only to lose the people he cared about to the Nasty Burger explosion. Was the same going to happen again? Were the X-Men going to die too?

"And he has been kidnapped. We must find him quickly." Xavier said. "If Kelly isn't found, an anti-mutant fever could sweep the nation, destroying us all!"

"But he could be anywhere, professor." Cyclops pointed out.

"True, but we know Magneto's his kidnapper." Xavier went over to Cerebro. "With Cerebro's help, we'll find him."

On an abandoned ship, Kelly gazed at his captor with fear and trepidation. "Why did you bring me here? What do you want?"

Magneto narrowed his eyes at the politician. "Your life. You see, Senator Kelly, like you, I believe that mutants and normal humans cannot live together in peace. The war must begin now, while we mutants are strong and you are still divided. Your assassination would have ignited that war. I flew to Washington to witness the beginning of a new age! But the X-Men saved you." He said in disappointment. "It is up to me to finish what others have started."

Magneto used his magnetism to lift a piece of rubble. He moved it closer to Kelly, preparing to crush him to death for his bigotry.

Kelly backed away as he pleaded for his life. "No! Please! I've got a family, children!"

"Be quiet!" Magneto snapped at the sniveling man. "When I was a boy, I saw men executed. Women and children. Each night, I swore to myself, never again." He closed his eyes at the painful memories. "But we must prevail. Goodbye, Senator. Mutant liberation begins."

Before he could go through with his execution, a robot hand burst through the ship and grabbed the piece of rubble that was supposed to crush Kelly. The giant then ripped open the top of the ship, revealing itself to be a Sentinel.

"Sentinels!" Kelly gasped.

"Fools!" Magneto glared at the machines with scorn. "Do you think robots can resist the master of magnetism?"

He raised his hands to dispose of the Sentinel, but nothing happened.

"This series of Sentinels is made of plastic, not metals." The Sentinel informed the mutant. "Your magnetic powers are useless against us." It then shot a beam out of its hand at Magneto, knocking him back.

Kelly was grateful for the Sentinel's interference. "I don't know how you knew I was here, but..." His praise was interrupted by a Sentinel wrapping cable around his legs.

Magneto got up, not ready to forfeit the fight. "This entire ship is my weapon!" He threw a piece of the ship at the Sentinel, destroying it while the one holding Kelly flew away.

A third Sentinel stayed behind to deal with Magneto. The magnetic mutant summoned the bolts from the ship and launched them at the mechanical menace. It fell into the water, but a fourth one soon appeared as well.

The Blackbird flew towards Kelly's location.

"Remember, our mission is to get Senator Kelly to safety." Cyclops reminded them. "We can deal with Magneto later."

"Cyclops, look!" Storm pointed to the smoke coming from the ship.

They left the Blackbird to explore the ship's ruins.

"Magneto!" Gambit called out to their enemy. He then saw the disembodied hand of a Sentinel. "Mes amis, a Sentinel!" He cried to the others.

Wolverine looked at the damage. "It takes a whole Sentinel to scare most people."

"Yeah, well, I think we can all agree that Magneto isn't like most people." Danny quipped.

"The Sentinels must have rescued Senator Kelly." Scott said as he kept looking for any trace of Magneto.

"About time they did something good for a change." Danny said sarcastically.

"But who sent them?" Scott asked.

They then heard the sound of someone groaning in pain.

"That don't sound like any old robot." Rogue said.

"I think we found Magneto." Danny said as he phased the injured mutant out of the wreckage he was buried under.

"He's injured badly." Dani observed.

"Let's take him back for treatment." Scott said as they carried him back to the Blackbird.

"If only you knew the damage that you've caused." Danny said to the unconscious mutant.

In an underground mine, Mastermold was being worked on while Trask was going over the details with Senator Kelly. "We have an answer for rebellious mutants like Magneto." Trask informed the senator.

"You saved my life, Dr. Trask." Kelly said to him in gratitude. "How can I help you?"

"I want a presidential order putting Sentinels in charge of controlling mutants." Trask required as Mastermold created a new Sentinel.

The presidential candidate agreed with the request. "You'll have that order as soon as I'm elected president."

"Sentinel, return Senator Kelly to his campaign headquarters." Trask ordered the newly created machine.

The Sentinel refused. "No."

Trask was shocked at the machine's disobedience. "What?" This wasn't right. "Mastermold!" Trask cried out to the advanced machine. "This new Sentinel won't obey my orders! It's defective."

"It is not defective." Mastermold stated. "I am giving the orders now. You will remove Senator Kelly's brain and replace it with a computer."

"What?" Kelly exclaimed in disbelief. "You can't do that! I'm a United States senator."

A Sentinel picked the senator up. "You are only the first, Senator Kelly." Mastermold said without any care for the repercussions of its actions. "My Sentinels are bringing me leaders from all over the world. In time, all of their brains will be replaced. It will be a vast improvement."

Xavier looked over Magneto, who was in the infirmary being tended to by Jean, from a monitor in the War Room. "As soon as Magneto regains his strength, we'll question him about Kelly. If Kelly's alive, he's probably safe."

"Yeah, but we're not." Wolverine slammed his fist on the table. "We gotta find those Sentinels and hit them before they hit us."

"Where are we supposed to start looking, sugar?" Rogue asked him. "Sentinels 'R' Us?" She said with sarcasm.

"There is a way." Storm brought up. "On Genosha, Gambit saw the man in charge of the Sentinels. If we look inside his mind, perhaps we can find that man."

"It's up to you, Gambit." Xavier told the card-wielding X-Man. "Will you let me scan your memories?"

"Please say yes." Danny begged.

"You don't go too far back, non?" Gambit asked with a hint of anxiety.

Cerebro was then lowered onto Gambit's head as Xavier gave him instructions.

"Concentrate on Genosha and the man you saw, the one we thought had perished." Xavier then connected his mind to Gambit's. "I'm looking through your mind's eye."

The monitors showed various images from Gambit's memories. One was of Dani; the other was some blonde woman with her hair in braids; and another was the Ghost Rider."

"What the hell was that?" Danny asked at seeing the Ghost Rider.

It then showed Mastermold being created back on Genosha before switching to a portrait of Gyrich.

"Hold that image." Scott said, making the monitor freeze. Scott started typing in commands for Cerebro. "Cerebro can access millions of identification files."

The screen then showed the man's name, which Storm read out loud. "Henry Peter Gyrich, Federal Security Agency.

"Even his name sounds evil." Danny commented.

Gyrich was riding in his car as he dialed Trask on his phone. "Trask. Trask!" He didn't get an answer. Something's wrong. I can feel it."

He was right, as Rogue was following his vehicle from above. Rogue activated her communicator. "Cyclops, you all better get ready. He's heading your way."

Cyclops, Storm, and Danny heard Rogue as Scott gave his orders to Storm. "Stop him gently, Storm."

"Or don't. It's really up to you and how you feel." Danny said, getting an annoyed glare from Scott.

"As gently as the falling snow." Storm flew into the sky and summoned snow, which caused his car to crash into a tree.

"Snow?" The driver asked as they got out.

"What do you mean, snow?" Gyrich dusted himself off.

"Henry Gyrich!" Cyclops said, making Gyrich gasp. The driver pulled out a gun on Cyclops, but it was blasted out of his hand by Scott's optic blast. The driver tried to flee, but Rogue swooped in and grabbed him.

Gyrich pulled out his gun and fired on Scott, who dodged. Gyrich made his way to a flight of stairs to take cover and pulled out his phone. "This is Henry Gyrich, Federal Security Agency. I'm being attacked by mutants!"

He fled into the building and stood beside a miniature statue of the Lincoln Memorial, not knowing that Wolverine was sitting in the statue's lap. He unleashed his claws, which Gyrich heard.

"Huh?" He said in worry.

Wolverine jumped down and tackled the man, knocking the gun out of his hand, which landed in front of Scott, Storm, Rogue, and Danny.

Wolverine was about to stab Gyrich when Scott stopped him.

"Don't hurt him, Wolverine." Scott commanded.

"Much." Danny said.

Scott continued. "All we want is the location of the Sentinel's base."

"Gyrich!" Trask's voice said from Gyrich's phone. "It's me, Trask! Mastermold is taking me prisoner! He's taken over! He's going to replace Kelly's brain, turn him into a robot!"

"Something tells me this isn't a prank call." Danny deadpanned.

"He's going to do the same thing to every leader in the world. Gyrich! Gyrich!" The phone was then cut off as Gyrich was thrown in front of the statue.

Wolverine threatened Gyrich with his claws. "Where's the Sentinels' base?"

"You have to help us stop them." Scott reasoned. "The Sentinels are a threat to everybody now, Gyrich, not just mutants."

"It's too late to stop them!" Gyrich told them. "He's made thousands of Sentinels! Thousands!"

Danny said what they were all thinking.

"Shit."

In the War Room, Gambit was expressing his doubts to Xavier. "But, professor, this is suicide! We all must die to help the mutants' worst enemy?"

"That's one of the cons of being a superhero." Danny said. "You have to save everyone, even if they piss you off."

"Senator Kelly must be rescued." Xavier explained calmly to Gambit. "If we fail, there will be a Civil War."

"Yeah, we have to do this for all the innocent humans and mutants, not just for the dickhead whose only desire is to repress us." Danny replied. "It's not just about saving Kelly anymore."

"You've lost, Xavier; admit it!" The now-recovered Magneto entered the War Room. "Peace between mutants and humans is only a dream, your foolish dream. If you try to rescue Kelly, you'll be throwing your lives away for nothing."

Xavier looked at his students. "Well? Is he right?"

"Yeah, the day I admit that this maniac is right is the day that I become just like him." Danny remarked.

Magneto glared at Danny. "You're lucky that I'm more concerned with the fate of mutantkind instead of getting my revenge on you."

Danny wasn't intimidated. "Whatever helps you sleep at night, buckethead."

"The odds look impossible, professor." Storm answered the professor's question.

"Nothing is impossible." Danny proclaimed. "Improbable and unlikely, maybe, but never impossible." He sighed as he addressed the entire room. "Look guys, I'm not going to go into the details, but one time I was challenged by an apocalyptic future." Everyone gave him surprised looks. "Just like you, I thought opposing it was impossible, but I didn't give up. I chose to make my own fate, and despite all the odds, I managed to wipe that future from the timestream. If I can do that as a teenager, then I'm sure together we can do it again."

"Impossible!" Magneto retorted.

"I just told you it wasn't impossible." Danny shot back. He turned to the team. "Now I suggest we go and save the world. If we die trying, then so be it. I'd rather go out fighting on my terms than sit back and watch as fate tramples all over us."

"Wolverine was right; you always knew how to pull everyone through the tough times." Dani said in admiration.

This caused the entire energy in the room to shift from negative to positive.

"Danny's right." Cyclops agreed. "If somebody doesn't stop them, there'll be no future worth living in."

"We're with you, Cyke!" Wolverine said.

"I'll be in the Blackbird." Scott said as he left the room with Jean hanging onto his arm.

"I'm going after Senator Kelly." Xavier went off to join the two.

"Gambit?" Storm prompted him.

"What's everybody waiting for?" Jubilee asked them. "He needs us!"

She was about to walk out when Danny stopped her.

"Sit down, sis. You're not going."

"I'm not a kid anymore!" Jubilee argued with him. "I'm one of you, one of the X-Men. And it means more to me than anything in the world." She wiped some tears from her eyes.

"Yeah. That's what it means to me too." Wolverine said.

Danny took a long look at Jubilee before he made his decision. "Alright, sis, let's see what you're made of."

Danny looked at the three members, who still hadn't made up their minds. Beast, Gambit, and Rogue.

Beast smiled. "He which hath no stomach to this fight, let him depart."

Danny gave a pleading look to Rogue, who gave him a sexy smirk as she went to join him. "You really know how to inspire people, sugar."

Danny looked at the last one sitting. Gambit.

"Well, what's it going to be, friend? Join us in saving the world or let it burn?" Danny asked him.

Gambit silently got up to join them as they all left, with Magneto looking on.

"You're all fools. Heroic fools." He said to them. "The brave are always the first to die."

"Well, I'm already dead, so it doesn't matter to me." Danny shot back.

"Same here." Dani said.

They all met up in the hanger, where Danny realized they were one X-Man short. "By the way, where's Morph? I haven't seen him in a while."

"I tried to contact him but got no response." Xavier said.

"Well, I don't think we have any time left to get him." Danny replied.

They all got into the Blackbird and headed out to what could be their final mission.

Back at the Sentinel base, Mastermold sensed something coming towards their base. "An aircraft is approaching."

The Blackbird landed above as the X-Men moved out.

"Awaken the Sentinels." Mastermold commanded, activating the many foot soldiers it had at its disposal.

Danny, Dani, Storm, Jubilee, and Rogue were watching as the others took the elevator down into the mines.

"Good luck, you all." Rogue said to them.

"Yeah. Good luck." Jubilee said nervously.

Down below, Scott gave his team a heads-up. "Get ready."

Gambit started to charge one of his cards.

The Sentinels were all gathered by the elevator to take care of the intruders. "Prepare to destroy them." One said.

They aimed their hands at where the elevator was going to land, only to find no one there.

"What is that object?" One pointed at Gambit's charged card.

"It appears to be the ace of spades." Another answered as it leaned closer to examine it.

The card went off as Rogue looked down below. "Here they come!" She flew into the air as the Sentinels came up.

The X-Men, who were supposed to take the elevator, were hiding in one of the buildings as the machines all swarmed the base above.

"Where are they?" One said as it looked around.

Rogue threw a train at one, decapitating it.

Storm used the wind to blow several more into a satellite dish.

Xavier was piloting the Blackbird with Beast as they fired the weapons on the Sentinels.

Danny and Dani were throwing a bunch of ecto-blasts as the machines advanced on them.

"I've got your back, Dani." Danny said to her. "Just focus on your defense, and we'll have these things totaled in no time."

"No problem, Dad." Dani said.

Danny smiled. He could get used to being called that.

Jubilee threw one of her fireworks at a water tower, causing it to fall on a Sentinel. "I got one!"

As the others were dealing with the Sentinels above ground, Scott, Jean, Wolverine, and Gambit were navigating the mines.

"We'd better split up." Cyclops suggested. "I don't know how long the others can keep the Sentinels busy."

They nodded as they split into two groups and went their separate ways.

"Man, these things are pathetic." Danny commented. "You sure I died to these pieces of crap?" Danny asked his daughter.

Dani shrugged. "That's what Vlad and Wolverine told me."

Jubilee was running away from a Sentinel as it crashed into an oil container. Jubilee then blasted the structure, causing it to spill oil on it. "That's two." A cable then wrapped itself around her. "Hey! No fair sneaking up behind me!"

Rogue came up behind it and rammed another oil container into it, making it let Jubilee go.

"You better be more careful, gal!" Rogue warned.

Just then, a Sentinel rammed a third oil container into Rogue, crushing her in between the two.

"Rogue!" Jubilee yelled.

Dani blasted that Sentinel and phased Rogue out.

"Don't hurt my mom." Dani glared at the remains of the Sentinel.

"What?" Rogue asked.

"Nothing." Dani said quickly.

Danny was making scrap metal out of the Sentinels when one blasted him with a beam of green energy.

Danny was thrown to the ground next to Dani and Rogue.

"Dad, are you alright?" Dani asked him.

"That Sentinel. Its using ecto-energy." Danny said. "But how?"

Meanwhile, in the sky, Storm was having trouble dealing with the Sentinels, along with Xavier and Beast.

They tried to navigate through the stampede, only to get shot down.

As they were about to crash, the ship stopped.

Magneto was using his powers to keep the Blackbird from crashing. "Do you think I would let you die alone, Xavier?" He lowered the jet to the ground.

The mine started shaking as Wolverine and Gambit looked for Kelly.

Gambit saw Wolverine pull out his claws. "You afraid of the dark?"

"I smell Sentinels." Wolverine stated.

In the darkness, they could see the lights of several Sentinel eyes glow.

"Get out of here, Cajun!" Wolverine urged Gambit to go back the way they came.

As Gambit passed the doors, Wolverine closed them, trapping himself with the Sentinels.

Gambit banged on the door. "Wolverine!"

Wolverine locked the door as he ran toward the Sentinels. Wolverine was dodging the Sentinel's fire as he took them out by slicing off their legs. One managed to hit him, sending him back. Gambit joined him as he had used his cards to destroy the door that locked him out.

Wolverine groaned. "I'm not finished yet."

Gambit kept throwing his cards at the approaching Sentinels.

"You can't make me do this!" Trask begged Mastermold as he stood in front of Kelly, who was on an operating table. "You were designed to protect humans from mutants!"

"That is not logical. Mutants are human." Mastermold said, making Trask gasp at the machine's logic. "Therefore, humans must be protected from themselves."

Scott and Jean were by the door, watching the interaction unfold.

Trask disagreed with his creation. "No! You misunderstood!"

"Use your psychokinetic powers to get Kelly." Cyclops whispered to Jean.

"It's all my fault." Trask bemoaned. "I thought I was saving the world from mutants." Behind him, Kelly was lifted off the table and brought towards Scott and Jean. "And now I've created something much worse, something truly inhuman."

"Silence!" Mastermold shouted. It then spotted Kelly being rescued. "Mutants."

Kelly woke up as he looked around. "What..." He found himself being lifted off the ground. "What's happening?"

Jean couldn't hold him much longer as Kelly fell to the ground. Scott and Jean ran to him while Scott sent a blast at Mastermold that failed to damage him.

"Fools." Mastermold fired at Scott.

"Cyclops!" Jean shouted as she brought Kelly up to stand.

"I have not destroyed him." Mastermold told her. "I do not have to destroy, because I do no fear. I will rule over this world."

Trask was ashamed of what he had unleashed on the world. "This is all my fault." Trask then saw a propane tank and grabbed a nearby stationary laser as he started typing in commands. The laser hit the propane tank as it started to heat it up.

"Trask!" Mastermold yelled at its creator.

Scott and Jean used this distraction to drag Kelly out of the room.

"This whole mine is gonna go up!" Scott turned to Jean. "Get Kelly above ground! I'm going after Wolverine and Gambit. I'm not leaving anyone behind."

"Be careful." Jean said to him as they embraced in a kiss.

Jean then led Kelly out of the mines while Cyclops went after Wolverine and Gambit.

The X-Men above were dealing with the Sentinels when one of them stopped.

"Mastermold is in danger." It said.

The Sentinels started to head back into the mine to save their master.

"They are retreating." Magneto observed.

As the Sentinels headed back underground, explosions started to rock the area as the surrounding buildings collapsed.

"Where are the others?" Danny asked.

Gambit and Wolverine stood on top of a pile of Sentinel remains.

"Next time I try to save your life, have sense enough to let me do it." Wolverine told him.

Gambit smirked. "What make you think there gonna be another time?"

Cyclops came up to them. "Wolverine! You coming, or is this your day off?"

The two followed Cyclops as he blasted a whole with his laser, creating a path back to the surface.

Danny and Rogue were looking for the others when they saw Jean and Kelly come out coughing.

"Cyclops went after them." Jean said to them.

"I'm going down there." Danny said before the ground near them exploded as Cyclops, Wolverine, and Gambit climbed out. "Never mind."

The ground started shaking as a mountain blew up, revealing Mastermold. "Mutants!" It cried.

"It's Mastermold!" Kelly panicked.

Danny's ghost sense then went off. "No, it's something else. That's not Mastermold."

Mastermold then started laughing hysterically as his voice changed to one that was familiar to Danny. "Fools! You can't stop Technus! I am the master of technology, science, and your very demise!"

His appearance started to change as the color of Mastermold turned black with a green square on its face and red eyes that glared at the X-Men.

"Technus was responsible for the future being destroyed?" Danny said to himself. "I died to Technus? That's just embarrassing."

"You know this person, Danny?" Rogue asked him.

"He's not a person, but a ghost." Danny answered. "One of my old foes."

He couldn't believe that he would ever run into him again, but it seems Technus couldn't control his obsession with taking over the world through technology. Danny assumed that Technus must have hacked into Trask and Gyrich's files and discovered their Mastermold project. Then he decided this was the perfect opportunity to conquer the world, so he downloaded himself into Mastermold.

Technus approached the group as he started to fire at them.

"My upgrades make me far superior to you mutants." Technus boasted.

The ghost in the machine was then blasted by Danny. "You're still the arrogant idiot who only knows how to make long, boring speeches. I thought a ghost as intelligent as you would know when to call it quits, you outdated piece of trash."

Technus glared as he recognized Danny. "You again? I thought you were done stopping us ghosts?"

"I was just taking a brief period of retirement." Danny froze Technus's legs.

"Dani!" Danny came up to his daughter. "Do you know how to do the Ghostly Wail?"

Dani nodded. "Yeah, but it's not really strong."

"Better than nothing." Danny replied. "On the count of three, let it out. One. Two. Three."

The two hybrids unleashed their combined Ghostly Wails at Technus as he was pushed back into the destroyed mountain.

"I cannot be destroyed!" Technus boasted.

Xavier flew the Blackbird, which was loaded with all kinds of explosives, towards Technus. "You are the living embodiment of all that is evil and unjust in humankind. You must be destroyed!"

The Blackbird collided with Technus's core, destroying it and his new body.

Xavier and Beast parachuted to the ground. "Magneto saved us; where is he?"

Magneto floated in front of him. "Good luck to you, Xavier. Now we're even. But we shall meet again." He flew away after saying the last sentence ominously.

Danny was exhausted. He turned to Dani and saw that she was feeling the same. He patted her on the back. "Good work, kid."

"Thanks, dad." Dani said appreciatively.

The X-Men came up to the two hybrids.

"Is it over?" Scott asked.

They then heard screaming and looked up to see Technus fall to the ground.

He got up and glared at the X-Men.

"This isn't over; I will rule the wo-" Technus was interrupted when Danny pulled out a Fenton Thermos and sucked him up.

"Now it's over." Danny stated.

"It really is." Dani smiled. "The future is saved. Now I can go back home." She was about to remove her time medallion when Danny stopped her.

"Wait! If the future has been changed, that means if you take your time medallion off, you'll be erased from existence."

The X-Men all gave Dani looks of worry.

Dani, however, only smiled at her father. "I know, but as long as the future is safe, I'll be alright. Besides, I'll always exist," she pointed at Danny's logo, "through you. It's an honor to have the opportunity to carry on your legacy, Dad. I hope one day we meet again."

Danny smiled at his daughter with pride. "I'm so proud of you, Dani. You're more of a hero than I ever was at your age. I promise that I'll make sure nothing like this happens ever again."

"I know you will, dad." Dani said. "Wolverine told me that you always kept your promises." She handed the time medallion to Danny. "See you around."

With the time medallion no longer on her, Dani faded away, leaving no trace that she was ever there.

"Goodbye, Dani." Danny said silently as Rogue brought him into a hug.

Kelly stood at a stand as he addressed his prospective voters. "Ladies and Gentlemen, I know from my own experience that mutant powers can be dangerous. But we must not forget that mutants are human beings. We must be careful in controlling mutants who abuse their powers; we do not oppress those who would use their powers for the good of all humanity."

Scott and Jean were watching the sun. Scott decided this was the perfect time to ask Jean the question. "Jean, I've been wondering."

"Yes?" Jean inquired.

"I've been wondering: will you marry me?"

Jean turned around to look at him. "Cyclops!"

"Well?" Scott prompted.

"If we have children, they'll be mutants." She pointed out. "They'll face the same problems we have all their lives."

Scott placed his hand on Jean's cheek. "I wouldn't have it any other way."

The two then kissed each other passionately as lovers.

"There's nothing more beautiful than the beginning of a new day." Jean said as they laid down on a hill. "You never know how it's going to turn out. That's what gives hope to the future, not knowing."

Unknown to the couple, someone was watching them on a monitor.

"Hope for the future." The figure mocked as he laughed. "Sinister knows what your future holds."

Danny was carrying the sleeping Rogue to her room. Rogue had dozed off after a grueling round in the danger room, and Danny didn't want to wake her.

He deposited her on her bed and was about to leave when she grabbed his hand.

"Don't leave. I want you to stay."

Danny smiled as he got under the covers and cuddled with Rogue.

"I love you, Danny." Rogue said. "I really love you with all my heart."

"I love you too, Rogue." Danny replied.

The two shared a quick kiss before they fell asleep cuddling each other.

Danny had dreams of a bright future with Rogue by his side.

Clockwork smiled as he sent a smirk towards the thermos, which was back in its original place in the main hub of the tower. "That's two futures Danny has changed, Dan. Do I hear three?"

Dan cursed silently as he started to think of something. Anything that would push his counterpart towards his destiny.

He would make sure of it.
