Time for some sun, sand and beach fun at the lake, and for Lucy to see the good in this trip, and this is based upon the episode known as "Sand Hassle." thanks again to "Marvelomac1010" for the concept to this chapter. Enjoy reading this guys.

Chapter 223: Lucy's Beach Trip...

(May 3. The Loud House, Franklin Avenue. Royal Woods, Michigan.)

We see, Lucy Loud and she is all packed up and ready for her trip today, something she has to attend and see if she can enjoy herself, though she's not very excited about it, and she doesn't wanna go, but she has no choice. Luan then comes in. "Hey, you doing alright?"

Lucy looks to her roommate. "Sigh, I just hope I can have fun. The advice from mom the other day seemed quite convincing, and gave me some motivation, but now it is happening and there are a million bats with doubts in my head."

Luan knows what she is saying. "Well, you won't know it unless you try it, and I know that you're gonna enjoy it." Luan goes over, and she hugs her. "See you later in the day, Luce." Lucy smiles and she hugs her back, and they don't even know Leni is taking a photo of this, since it is rare to see Lucy hug, and smile.

Lucy and Luan depart from the hug, and then Lucy leaves the bedroom with her bag, and she goes down the stairs and she meets with Michelle Lewis, and she speaks to the little Goth Loud. "You ready for this, Luce?" Lucy remains silent, and Michelle knows that something is wrong and so she kneels down to her level. "Remember what we talked about the other day, and just try to have some fun, alright?"

Lucy still feels a little concerned, but then she nods. "I will try and thanks mom." This makes Michelle smile, and so they both leave the house, and then Lucy hops into Vanzilla and with Lori driving her to school, but they didn't notice that Mr. Grouse is checking his old car, and he has some plans to sell her.

(Royal Woods Elementary School.)

Vanzilla stops, and the school seems kinda closed, and then Lucy steps out from Vanzilla, she does look back to Lori and she waves, and Lori also waves, and then Lucy goes into the bus, and she sees Principal Huggins, and she is confused. 'Why does Principal Huggins have a hairy bug on his head?'

Lucy then goes into the bus, and she goes to the back and sees the members of the Young Morticians Club: Haiku, Dante, Boris, Morpheus, and Persephone and of course, Rocky Spokes.

They all sigh, but Rocky isn't and he is on his game, but then he sees Lucy. "Hey Luce, so you ready for today?"

Lucy nods. "I am." they see the smile on her face. "I am prepared for this and have what I need to try and have fun. Mom gave me some advice today, and I am going to heed her word and see what else there can be to enjoy."

This confuses the others, and then Boris speaks. "I think Lucy has been replaced by a spirit from the mirror." The bus then drives off.

(Lake St. Byron.)

The bus finally arrives, and the students all race out and all wanna have some sunny beach fun, and of course Rocky and the Goth's are the last to leave the bus. Lucy looks around, and sees the beach. 'Huh, this is not so different from Aloha Beach.'

But then she hears some plans from her friends. "We need to figure out how to get out of this horrible, and positive place!" said Dante. "I don't think we have enough umbrellas for all of us."

"This place truly does become the nightmare for all human beings, but unfortunately for those who are toiled into its sunshine and vile demeanor" replied Persephone.

Boris sighs. "This is truly a dark day for us all."

Lucy knows what they mean, but she sees it doesn't seem that bad. Haiku then asks. "Is there something wrong?"

Lucy smiles, and she readies her bag, and she is wearing her usual black and white striped bathing suit. "I am going to go and have fun." This makes the Goth's gasp.

"And count me in!" Rocky has his swimming trunks, and this makes the Goth's gasp, but then they realize that this is how normal it is for Rocky, since he is not an actual true Goth.

Lucy then explains to them. "My friends, remain calm and allow me to explain. Michelle Lewis, whom which I call my mom told me that even though it is a place of sun, and sand. It is not so bad for even folks such as us, and we might figure out what we can do to occupy ourselves, so we should go on ahead and see what Goth's like us can do on this sunny, sandy and fun beach."

The Young Morticians Club are concerned about this, but they think about what she said, and then Haiku speaks. "Then I am joining you, Lucy. To see what I can do here." The others are surprised, but then they think about this.

Dante. "Alright, we'll give it a try. But i am wearing sunblock, in case I am reduced to ashes."

Persephone. "Perhaps there might be something we can do here, even if there are no shark attacks."

Boris. "Or thunder storms, or a rainy day. Boris might think of some way to enjoy his moments."

Morpheus. "Let us see if we can enjoy our time here, and see if what Lucy said is in fact, true."

Lucy nods, and so they get to the Beach Time fun.

(Later in the day.)

Turns out, what Lucy had said, was right, well what Michelle Lewis said was right. Because they can find something fun to do here at the beach.

Dante and Morpheus are making sand angels, well demons and they decorate them with shells and fish bones, and sand sculpture gravestones, some kids run away with laughter pretending to be chased by a sea monster, which is actually Botis covered in kelp and sea weed.

Persephone enjoy some surfing, while laying down on the beach board, and when she surfaces she is floating back to shore. Rocky is just buried in the sand, and then Dante goes over and makes the rest of his body into a sandy skeleton.

Haiku and Lucy, are both making sand castles, in the form of Vampiric Castles. "Lucy, your mom was right. Even Goth's can enjoy some sun, sand and beach time fun." She then knocks the volley ball back to the others. "This is fun."

Lucy nods and smiles. "I am going to thank her when we get back." Then they are handed some refreshing drinks from Fangs the bat, and his new pelican friend, and so they all continue their beach time fun.

But then everyone stops, and sees Principal Huggins chasing one of the bats, who took away his wig, and he yells. "Give that back that is made of real horsehair!" They all chuckle and laugh seeing this, and also freaked out at what his wig was made of.

Then Boris speaks. "You know, if Principal Huggins wants hair, or a wig. We could get him one?" He has a shovel ready, and this is something they need to talk about after all of this.

A/N: a total change, and the Goth's now enjoy the sunny and peaceful sandy times, on the beach at Lake St. Byron. I hope that you all enjoyed reading this everyone.
