Chapter 228: Usual stuff in the Loud House...
(May 8. The Loud House, Franklin Avenue. Royal Woods, Michigan.)
Lincoln Loud, and his big sister/Roommate Luna Loud are both in their bedroom, and they have finished their homework, and then Lincoln rests on his bean bag chair, Luna smirks seeing this, but then he stands up. "Hey, Lunes. I'm gonna go and get something to snack on, you wanna get something with me?"
Luna smiles. "Sure thing, little brother." She gets up, and they both head out of their room, and then go downstairs and head for the kitchen and then Luna asks. "Are you prepared for your birthday this month, Lincoln?"
Lincoln nods, and he feels positive. "Darn right I am, sis. I mean I have this feeling that this birthday is going to be different from the ones before. Next to the good part, of where Lynnard and Rita aren't there, and I am glad I can spend this upcoming birthday with you, the sisters and mom."
Luna is happy to hear this, they then go to the kitchen and Michelle is in there and she looks focused on something, but it doesn't seem like her work and she is trying to figure out something she had written on a piece of paper. So, Luna asks. "Hey mom, what are you working on?"
Michelle then snaps out of her train of thought. "Huh? Oh, no I am not doing work today, I am just trying to figure something else out here."
Lincoln and Luna kno what she is doing and then Lincoln asks. "Does it have something to do with Amanda Bright?"
Michelle goes wide eyed, and she blushes and she sighs. "Well, maybe." she then gets up and she speed walks out of the kitchen, and to her bedroom. This makes them both chuckle, and so Lincoln and Luna grab some chocolate pudding, and they head back to their bedroom, but then almost bump into Lynn Jr at the stairs.
"Hey sis, you got some stuff to do today?" asked Lincoln.
"Hey guys, just gonna meet with Annabelle and the others. We gotta be prepared for our next game." Lynn then leaves through the front door, with her baseball bat in hand, summer is inbound and baseball and softball will be all the rage for the season.
Lincoln and Luna head to their room, and then Lincoln asks. "You think she's gonna ask out Annabelle on a date?"
Luna then replies. "Unsure, little brother. I mean, this is Lynn we're talking about and she might have a hard time to do that kinda stick. She will need some help, perhaps she will ask for advice from us soon." The duo then go into their shared bedroom.
As the duo enjoy their chocolate pudding, Lincoln sees that Luna looks concerned. "Something the matter, sis?"
Luna sighs and she tells him. "Lincoln, right before your birthday we're gonna visit those two numbskulls again. I don't know why, but it feels like something happened to them last time, almost like someone we know and hate went over and talked to them or something."
Lincoln didn't like the sound of this. "Luna, I don't know what is going on or what will happen, but I do know that mom is gonna handle that one. I mean, she is more responsible than Rita and Lynnard combined, and those two are always about horrific ties and that stupid book."
Luna nods, and he sighs. "Yeah, I guess you are right. Still, I don't know if..." Then Lana kicks the door open, startling Lincoln and Luna. This kinda ticks off Luna. "Lana, you could've just knocked."
But Lana seems excited. "No time! I saw this on my way home!" She shows them the flier, that on this Saturday there will be a Go-Kart racing event, and the winner will get to meet Bobbie Fletcher. Now, Lincoln and Luna are aware that Lana is a big time Bobbie Fletcher fan, perhaps might have a slight crush on her too, I mean Lana has a Lego Playset of Bobbie Fletcher's ramous win event.
They do read the flier, and it said that you have to make your own Go-Kart, and reading that only means... Lana needs help, to make her very own Go-Kart.
A/N: Well, this doesn't seem like the normal thing we thought, but it lines up for what is to come, for Lynn, Michelle and of course, Lana and then the upcoming visit again to Lynnard and Rita. I hope that you all enjoyed reading this newly posted chapter everyone.
