Hi Readers: Sorry for the delay in getting this chapter out to you guys, but things happen, and I ended up getting delayed after the previous chapter. Now, let's not waste any more time and just get this one out to you nice and quick, then we can get back to it.
Chapter One Hundred and One
Breakfast in Bed, as Requested
He just finished making him and Gabby some breakfast and was now on his way up to the bedroom where he plans on spending some quality time with her; and let's just say that Gabby is quite happy that's going to be the case, especially since it's going to give her some time to get comfort from the love of her life. After all, it's what she needs from him right now. But why does she need comfort, might you ask? Well, that was due to the fact that she just had a flashback; a flashback to when she gave birth to the boys, as this situation that Jay and Alex now find themselves in is similar to when they gave birth to the boys. And at the same time, Gabby also felt bad for Jay specifically; after all, he has PTSD, and she knows (based on Matt's experience after she gave birth to the boys prematurely) that it can be especially hard on them. She still remembers what her giving birth prematurely has done to Matt, and she hates it; but for it to happen to Jay as well, well that's just something that breaks her heart (regardless of the fact that she's his ex-girlfriend).
Well, if she can even call herself that; because she doesn't exactly know if that's something that she, herself, is comfortable calling herself as their relationship was not one that you can associate with the title of girlfriend. But still, that doesn't mean that her heart can't break for him as a friend, or as Alex's friend. Ever since Alex stared to work (a majority of the time) at ELLA (rather than Casey Police), she's felt this type of connection with her; especially since they thought that they were going to be having twin girls, which is something that she would've loved to have (not that she's complaining that she had twin boys). After all, you all know that Matt and Gabby both love Matteo and Noah for than anything; and that's something that'll never change. If anything, she just falls more and more in love with them each and every day. But those boys of hers are the only men in her life that she falls in love with more and more each and every day, as she also does the same thing with her dreamy husband; especially when he does something special.
And that's even more the case when he does something romantic, which is something that he just so happens to be doing for her right now. As you know, Matt already made them some breakfast for the both of them; and they agreed that they were going to have breakfast in bed, even though they did have the option to eat out in the kitchen (since breakfast was still being made when she came back to their room). But she decided otherwise, as this is what she really wanted. She wanted time with her husband, where they can share a nice breakfast in bed alone; without any interruptions from their families, which is something that they desperately need at times. And right now, this would be one of those times; especially since they just want to relax with each other, as they take it easy in bed. And boy is it going to be nice when Matt is finally in bed with her, as it means that she's going to be able to cuddle up to her dreamy husband as he holds her close. (After all, it's something that Matt's already planning to do; just like they always do).
They always hold each other close and cuddle up to each other when they agree to spend the day in bed with each other. However, there is still one decision that the couple need to make; and that would be the attire that Matt was going to be wearing as they cuddle up to each other; not that the decision hasn't already been made, especially after Matt just noticed what undergarments Gabby is currently wearing more him. And that would be lingerie; lingerie that daddy loves looking at because his wife is so damn sexy, and Matt is positive that she knows that better than anybody else. "Okay, now this really isn't far. I mean, damn baby." Gabby laughed as she heard Matt tell her that, well aware of just what he's talking about; and that would be the outfit that she's currently wearing for him, and plans on wearing for him all day. "Oh shut up, and don't you dare try and lie by telling me that you don't like the outfit that I'm currently wearing for you." Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that, as he most definitely will do not such thing.
"Oh, I am not going to do that; because then I would be in trouble with my gorgeous wife, and that means that I would also be putting my intimate time with this sexy lingerie at risk. And that's something that I can already tell you is going to happen today, because our family is already going to be taking the boys out at some point; and that therefore means that we're going to have the entire place to ourselves, and I can already tell that you love that idea." Gabby smiled as she heard her loving husband tell her that before smirking. "Well, I can only assume that I know what you want to do when we're done eating." Matt laughed as he heard Gabby tell him that, as he most definitely does want to get sexy with her at some point. But not right now. Right now, he needs to make sure that his beautiful wife eats for their baby girl; the baby girl who needs to have her mommy eat so that they can both be fed. After all, their aby girl can only grow if her mommy eats enough food; food that her daddy is going to give his beautiful wife right now.
And afterwards, he's going to climb into bed with her; that way, they can have breakfast together. "Are the boys already done their cheerios?" Matt smiled as Gabby asked him whether the boys are done eating their cheerios already, because they most definitely are. "Yes, they're all both done eating; and that means that we don't need to worry about them anymore. Rather, we can just concentrate on each other." Gabby smiled as Matt told her that, as that most definitely is exactly what the wife wants to do with her amazing husband right now; she wants them to concentrate on each other, as they relax in bed together today. And she also wants to talk to him, especially after that bad dream that she had last night; a dream that she's yet to share with her husband. And while she knows that he might get mad for her about not saying anything yet, she just hopes that he can forgive her. And that's because she's trying to tell him when she has them, but she's also scared at times when it comes to when she's sleeping (in Matt's arms).
God, the way that her loving husband holds her in his arms is incredible, and she loves it more than anything in the entire world; and she just can't wait until he's holding her once again, which is something that he does momentarily. "So, are we going to be sitting close to each other as we eat? Or do you want to sit across from each other, which the tray table in between us?" Gabby bit her lip as Matt asked her how she wanted to sit in bed while they had breakfast, as they all sound so tempting; but at the end of the day, she needs to think about what's going to be easier when he needs to get up so that he can take the plates downstairs. "Let's eat facing each other, that way you can get out of bed easier when you need to bring the tray (along with our plates) back down to the kitchen." Matt agreed with his girl as she said that, as that is most definitely the truth; after which, he proceeded to lean over her so that he can set the tray of food down right where she wants it. And that would be on their bed, in between where they're both going to sit in bed.
However, there's something else that Matt needs to do while leaning over Gabby (other than giving her a kiss); and that would be grab the tea that he has on the tray table. Going to grab it, Matt smiled as he picked it up and then set it down on the side table; and that's something that he specifically did, as he didn't want to have the tea spill onto the bed. Once that was done, he set it down on her side table; at the same time, he also grabbed his coffee from the tray table. Carrying it with him as he made his way over to his side of the bed, Matt smiled as he got ready to get in bed with the woman he loves more than anything; setting the cup of coffee down on his side table, Matt smirked as he looked at his beautiful wife. "Sorry for not giving you a kiss when I was leaning over you." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, before looking at the man she loves. "Well, I think that I can do something to fix that." Matt was confused as Gabby said that, before just watching as she got up out of bed; after which, he watched as Gabby made her way to the footboard.
Smirking when he realized what Gabby did, Matt then proceeded to make his way over to the woman he loves at the end of their bed. Stepping close to her as soon as he was at the end of the bed, Matt smiled as he moved his hands to her sides; after which, he picked her up and set her down on the footboard. Stepping close to his beautiful wife, Matt smirked as he leaned in and kissed her softly. Taking things nice and slow with Matt as he kissed her this morning, Gabby smiled as she felt him move his hand to her neck and just held his beautiful wife close to him. "God, I love you so much." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that. "I love you too, and I am so glad that you made me breakfast in bed. Thanks for that by the way." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby thank him for making breakfast in bed, as it truly was his pleasure; then again, she also doesn't have to thank him for doing so. And that's due to the fact that it's his job to make sure that she eats enough, both for her sake; and for the sake of their beautiful daughter (whom she's pregnant with).
"Baby, you have no need to thank me for making you breakfast; after all, this is my job. My job is to feed you and our daughter." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, as that most definitely is his job while she's pregnant. Her job is to make sure that she takes it easy for the sake of their daughter, while his job is to make sure that she feeds the both of them (through her of course) to the best of his abilities; and that means that he needs to make her a bunch of healthy meals, which is something that he always does. And that's because he's the best father (and husband) in the entire world, which is a fact that Gabby will never let Matt deny; even though he does want to do it at times. And that's based on their past. More specifically, about the fight that they had before she left to go to Puerto Rico; but, as she always tells him, that's behind them. And it'll always be behind them, as she wants to live this new life with the man of her dreams; which just so happens to also be the life that they're creating with their children now.
And something, they'll continue to build this life that they have with each other with their daughter; the daughter whom they already love more than anything in the entire world, for the simple fact that she's a part of their family. She's loved Matteo and Noah since the day they were born, and that will be the case as soon as their daughter Grace is born in a few moments; and that's a day that most definitely can't wait for, and neither can Matt. She can see just how excited he is that they're having a daughter this time around, and she can dream of some of the things that he's going to do with his baby girl; and that's something that always makes her heart skip a beat, as it's some of the best dreams that she's ever had. But another reason that she loves the dreams, is because of how real they feel; and she believes that it's all because Matt is already an amazing father to Matteo and Noah. He's so protective of them (and her) already, and that makes her feel so far. Yet, there are also times where that makes her wonder about some things.
Most notably, she's wondering just how he's going to be when their daughter is born; and that includes whether he's going to be twice as protective of her, as she's going to be his baby girl. Then again, he does always protect the people that he loves. So, there's no doubt in her mind that he's going to protect their family to the best of his abilities; and that's going to be something that he does for the rest of his life, with pleasure. Another thing that he's going to do with pleasure? Is worry about his wife right now, as she's currently not responding to him; even when he's starting to yell a bit. Making his way over to their bed, Matt called her name out to try and get her attention. "Gabby!" Starting to come to (again) after (finally) hearing Matt yell out her name, Gabby looked at her husband (who was in a panic at the moment); a panic that she was responsible for. "Oh, sorry. What did you say baby?" Matt then proceeded to get close to his wife, while taking a breath since he was (still) starting to get worried; and that's why they need to talk.
Sitting down next to his wife, Matt proceeded to grab her hand and looked at her. "Hey, where did your head go right now? I called out for you a couple times, but I didn't get a response." Taking a breath as Matt asked her that, Gabby then proceeded to smile as she thought about what she was just dreaming about. "Oh, I was just thinking about how great my husband is; oh, and how he's a great father too." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before leaning in and proceeding to kiss her softly. "And my wife is a great one, and an amazing mother; but most importantly, she's the woman I love more than anything in the entire world." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, well aware that was the case. "Thank you baby." Matt smiled at Gabby as she said that, before leaning his forehead against hers. "God, I love you so much." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "I love you too. Now, how about we get in bed together? Then, we can eat breakfast." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she said that, before getting up to do just that.
Climbing into bed on his side, Matt took a breath as he got ready to eat (while also speaking to Gabby about how scared he was while he was calling out her name): after all, that's something that they need to address, especially when she's pregnant with their daughter. It's not like he can just let it go when he was do damn worried about her, and Gabby is well aware of that fact; so, she already agreed (ahead of time) to have this conversation. A conversation which she decided to start right now. Taking a breath, Gabby looked at the man she loves so that she could speak to him. "How worried were you?" Matt took a breath as Gabby asked him how worried he was, because he truly was quite worried. "I was really worried Gabby. I mean, you spaced out; and I didn't know what was happening, or if something happened. I mean, you're pregnant." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, before putting her hand on her stomach; after all, the last thing that she wanted to do was scared Matt while she's pregnant with their beautiful daughter.
After everything that they went thought during her first pregnancy (with the boys), she could tell that this is still a lot for him. "I'm sorry Matt." Taking a breath as Matt looked at the woman he loves, he sighed as this was the last way that he wanted to make her feel; he didn't want to make her feel like she needed to apologize to him, which she doesn't. She doesn't need to apologize to him; nor will she ever have to apologize to him. She's his world, and he loves her more than anything in the entire world. She can just take it easy and relax when it comes to them being with each other; yet, that doesn't mean that they aren't going to (still) talk about it. Because they are. They're going to talk about it, as Gabby needs to know how he feels. But first, he needs to apologize to her. Grabbing her hand, Matt smiled as he intertwined their fingers as he stared into her eyes. "No, I'm sorry for yelling at you. You were just sitting in bed, and you were thinking. I just…" Getting close to Matt, Gabby leaned in and kissed him softly this morning.
After all, she didn't want him to keep rambling on; rather, she'd rather he just cuddle up to him and have a nice breakfast with him. "Calm down baby, and just relax okay?" Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that. "Come here, hold me close and just relax as we have breakfast." Matt laughed. "Actually, maybe we should eat first, then we can cuddle up to each other in bed." Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that. "With me in boxers, and you in lingerie?" Gabby smirked as she heard Matt say that, as she most definitely does want to have her husband be in his boxers after they have breakfast. "Oh, that's definitely what we're doing. And I'm not moving after breakfast, because my family doesn't want to see me in lingerie." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she said that, as that most definitely is the case. "God, I love you so much." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, smiling due to the fact that he's really happy over the fact that they're going to be spending the day together in bed; with nobody bothering them.
Going to roll over to grab his coffee, Matt smiled as he looked at his beautiful wife. "So, is there anything specific that you want to do on our day alone?" Gabby smiled as Matt asked her what she wants to do while they have this day alone. "Oh, I think I would just love to cuddle up to my dreamy husband." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, as that most definitely is something that he wants to do as well. He wants to hold the woman he loves close to him, as they hold each other close. "Anything else you want to do today? Because I think we also do plan on looking at some of your designs." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, as that most definitely is something that she wants to do with her dreamy husband. "Oh, I most definitely do want to do something else too." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before going to take another bite of his breakfast. After which, he leaned in and proceeded to kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Matt smirked due to the fact that this is something that he loves doing.
He loves kissing his wife so damn much, and he's just glad that this is what they're doing right now. "Listen, how about we just finish breakfast? Then, we can have a nice day together." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she said that, smiling as he most definitely wants to do that with her for the rest of the day. He just wants to hold her in his arms, and take things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world; who just so happens to also be the mother of his wonderful children: Matteo, Noah, and Bella. God, he still loves that name more than anything; and he can't wait to be able to say it every day for the rest of his life.
