Hi Readers: Sorry for the delay in this chapter. In the middle of this chapter, I went to go have some supper; and that led to me also getting distracted, etc. But now, I'm back; and I'm more than ready to give you some more chapters, hope you like them.
Chapter One Hundred and Five
You Okay?
To say that them talking to their friends brought back some memories, well that would be an understatement; as that was exactly what happened. While Matt had an idea that it (may) happen, he didn't expect it to have such an effect on his wife; but more specifically, a negative effect. But the negative effect was not because of Kelly and Stella, because they were the lucky ones when it came to how Stella gave birth to her and Kelly's twins; rather, it was Jay and Alex. And that was due to the fact that her birth was similar to the one that Gabby experienced: unexpected, and painful. But the pain wasn't just while she was in labor, and while she was giving birth; rather, it was in the aftermath of her giving birth. The time where she had to spend watching her sons grow in incubators, and when she didn't get a chance to hold them in her arms; which she wanted to do more than anything in the entire world, for their entire stay there at the hospital. But now, she was just taking it easy, and trying to relax by taking a nice bath (that Matt ran for her).
But there was also something that Gabby didn't yet know about said bath, and that was that she wasn't going to be taking it alone; as Matt was planning on joining her in the bath this morning, as he wanted to be able to cuddle up to her. And he wanted to hold her in his arms, as they held each other close. And the truth was, Gabby was actually very much interested in that; she wanted Matt to hold her in his arms, and she wanted Matt to cuddle up to her wherever she was. And even when she's in the bath, he can still do that for her; so, that meant that he was going to join her. And god, is Gabby ready for him to do just that. She's ready to have the man she loves wrap his arms around her, put his hands on her 13 week pregnant stomach (where their beautiful daughter is growing inside of her) and just give her some attention that he already knows she's going to enjoy; and that's simply because he's going to be the man giving her said attention. Plus, him getting a chance to be with the woman he loves in the bath doesn't hurt; it's pretty sexy.
I mean, she's going to be naked in his arms; and they're going to be holding each other close in the bath, which is something that they both (always) want to do with each other. But first, there was something that Matt wanted to (specifically) do for his beautiful wife; and that was put a bit of cologne on for her, as he didn't want to smell like crap when he joins her in the bath. So, he quietly made his way into the bathroom and walked over to his vanity; yes, his vanity. There's actually two vanities here in the bathroom: one for him, and one for her; it's one of the reasons that they actually got this house, because they are both really messy when it comes to them being all over each other (in a non-sexual way). Oh, who are we kidding; we mean it in a sexual way as well, and Matt and Gabby wouldn't have it any other way. The couple love each other more than anything, and that will always be the truth of the matter. They will always love how sexy they get with each other, and how they always hold each other close when they need to.
God, the way Matt's strong arms just wrap themselves around her naturally; it's something special that Gabby is especially lucky to have in her life, as it's what she needs right now. She needs to have the man she loves hold her in his arms, as they cuddle up to each other in the bath. After all, it's what Matt promised her that they'd do right now. He promised her that they'd just take it easy, and relax in each other's arms; I mean, not that Matt doesn't already love the idea. However, there was also something else that Matt planned on doing while they were in the bath with each other; and that was check on his wife, and make sure that she was okay. After all, that was something else that was on his mind right now. He was worried about what was going on in her head, especially after they talked to Jay and Alex; and because he knows that he's thinking about it, how small their boys where when they were in the NICU. And that's really hard on his mind right now, especially when his beautiful wife is pregnant with their daughter right now.
And that's something that's really making him nervous, as he doesn't want it to happen again; he doesn't want her to have to give birth prematurely ever again, but he knows that there's a chance that she may have to (even though she doesn't want to). With Gabby having gotten pregnant so soon after they had the boys, it increases the risk for her going into premature labor; but so far, they have been told that everything looks okay. And that means that there's every likelihood that they will give birth on time. So, they need to remember that as they are only thirteen weeks along; and that's still something that Matt loves to think about, that they're already one third of the way to them meeting their daughter. And that's something really special, as he wants to meet their daughter sooner rather than later; and so far, that's exactly what they think is going to happen. They truly believe that they are going to meet their daughter on time, and without any issues. So, that's what Matt is going to remind his beautiful wife about as they hold each other.
As he holds her in his arms, in the bath; and he gives her a nice massage (which she most definitely needs right now), as he can feel just how tense her muscles are right now. And that's why he decided to ask her the following question. "You okay?" Turning to face Matt as he walked into the bathroom, Gabby took a breath as he already knew the answer to that question; she isn't dumb, and she knows that Matt just asked her said question to get her talking. But still, she does appreciate him asking that question. "I'm doing as good as I can based on the circumstances." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before making his way over to her; after which, he wrapped his arms around her and just smiled as he got really close to her. At the same time, Gabby wrapped her arms around Matt's back and stepped close to him. Leaning in afterwards, Matt smiled as he took things nice and slow with the woman he loves. "I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that he loves her, as she was well aware of the fact that he loves her.
It's no secret that he loves her, or that he's loved her for the longest time; but for now, he really needs to calm down and just take it easy. And Matt knows that better than anybody, but just can't resist how sexy his gorgeous wife is. Bending down this morning, Matt smirked as he stepped close to Gabby again before sucking on her neck. Grabbing the back of Matt's head shortly afterwards, Gabby moaned as it was so hot. "Oh baby." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was something that she loved the feeling of. The feeling of his soft lips on her neck, as well as he feeling of him holding her in his arms; and the truth is, he loves it too. The feeling of his hands running around her skin, as they hold each other close; but the best time to run his hands around her body, is when she's wet. Whether that be in the shower, in the pool, or in the bath; Matt doesn't care. But what he does care about, is getting in the bath; and he can't do that with what he (still) has in his arms. Pulling away from the kiss, Matt turned his head.
After which, he proceeded to throw his boxers onto the counter; and let's just say that really did turn Gabby on as she stepped close to him, wrapping her arms around his body before leaning in and going to suck on his neck. Feeling Gabby do just that, Matt was a bit taken aback as he moved his hands to her lower waist. "Oh baby." Gabby smirked as she heard Matt say that, well aware of the fact that he was enjoying the feeling of her lips on his neck. Leaning back to look at him, Gabby smiled at the man she loves more than anything in the entire world; after which, she stepped close to him and just smiled as she leaned in to kiss him softly. Wrapping his arms around Gabby's waist (this time inside her robe), Matt smirked as he took things nice and slow with her. "God, I love you more than anything in the entire world." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, well aware that was the case. "Oh, I know that for a fact." Matt smirked as he heard Gabby tell him that, before leaning in and kissing his beautiful wife softly. "I love you."
Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before smirking as she kissed him too. "I love you too, and II am so glad that this is what we're in the midst of doing right now; just holding each other close, as we get ready to get in the bath with each other." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she said that, as he was glad that was the case too. "Oh, believe me; I am ready to get in the bath with you though. I want to hold you in my arms, and run my hands all over that nice body of yours. And at the same time, I want to start the conversation that we both know we need to have; about how you're feeling right now, after having that conversation with Alex and Jay." Gabby took a breath as she heard Matt tell her that, well aware that was the case. "Yeah, that's still on my mind." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she said that, well aware that was the case. After which, he pressed his lips to her forehead. "I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, before just smiling due to the fact that she loves him too; after which, she looked up at him.
"I love you too, and I am ready to just hold you in the bath." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she said that, before going to point something out to her. "I think it's actually the other way around, as I'm really going to be holding you in the bath." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, as that most definitely is going to be what he's going to be doing. "Oh, I love the fact that you're going to hold me in your arms; and that means that you need to get in first, so that I can sit down in your lap." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife when she said that, before watching as she proceeded to start taking off his towel; after which, he went to grab it from her so that he can go ahead and hang it up on the hook that they have next to their bath. At the same time, Matt wrapped his arms around Gabby (inside the bathrobe that was already open) before smiling as she put her hands on his chest. Leaning in, Matt smirked as he bent down and took things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world, his extremely sexy wife.
Going to grab Gabby's bathrobe shortly afterwards, Matt smirked as he went ahead and proceeded to move it to the other hook they have next to the bath (which is shared by both her bathrobe, as well as her towel). "So, I am going to get in before you; then we can get in the bath together." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, most definitely ready to get in the bath with her loving husband today; after which, she let him get in the bath while turning around. At the same time, Matt stepped into the bath and went to sit down. Grabbing the taps while Matt got in the bath, Gabby proceeded to close them as the water is already full enough for the both of them; and let's just say that Matt was so happy that she just did that, as it allowed him to take a nice glimpse at her delicious body. "God, you are so damn sexy." Gabby laughed as she heard Matt say that. "Calm down Mr. Casey, we're just getting in the bath." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before climbing into the bath with him; which is everything that she wants right now.
However, she also knows that this is just the start of them; as they are also going to talk about how she's doing, related to the fact that they just talked to Alex and Jay in the local NICU. And Matt can only assume that it brings back some memories from when their boys were in the NICU. Putting his hands on Gabby's stomach as soon as she was sitting in between his legs (and leaning back against his chest), Matt smiled as he kissed the side of her head; after which, Matt whispered into her ear. "So, do you want to take a minute to relax before we talk about this?" Moving her hand to Matt's arm, Gabby smiled as she stroked it with his thumb. "Are you okay with that?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before bending down to kiss her shoulder softly. "I am more than okay with that, so let's take it easy and just relax. Maybe five minutes?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, smiling as they just held each other in the bath; after all, that's exactly what she wants to do with her man right now.
After five minutes of nice silence, she was finally ready; ready to talk about what they already agreed to talk about, which would be how she's doing right now. More specifically, about how she's feeling after thinking of some of the memories that she's had recently from when their boys where in the NICU; which just so happens to also be the same situation which Jay and Alex now find themselves in, with their twins Michael And Olivia. "So, do you want to start this conversation? Or do you want me to start?" Taking a breath as Matt asked her whether she wanted him to start the conversation, she just sighed as she wasn't sure what she wanted. "I guess, I'm just thinking about the boys in the NICU; and the memories that I have from then." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she said that, well aware that was what she was thinking about right now. "And are you also thinking about your fears?" Gabby took a breath. "You mean about the possibility of us having another stay in the NICU, if I give birth to our little Emma prematurely?"
Matt sighed as he heard Gabby ask her that, as that most definitely was NOT what he wanted her to think about; but he also knew his wife, and that meant that he knew that she was thinking about it now (even if he didn't want her to). "Sorry about this." Gabby shook her head as she heard Matt apologize for having brought this up, as she needs to think about this; after which, she grabbed his hand before intertwining their fingers. Laying back again, Gabby took a breath and just cuddled up to Matt some more. "Sorry if I'm just staying silent at times, I guess I'm…" Turning his head, Matt kissed the side of her head before bending down to whisper in her ear. "You need moments to think, and I understand that Gabby." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before deciding to roll over onto his chest; after which, she cuddled up to him (as much as she can) and just laid her head down. At the same time, Matt ran his hand up and down her back; at the same time, both he and Gabby saw Andy put his paws up on the edge of the bath right now.
Turning his head, Matt laughed as he thought it was adorable. "I swear, I really think that we got the right dog." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that he thought that he got the right dog, as she feels the same way. "Yeah, Andy is great for the both of us." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, running his hand up and down her back. After all, this is exactly what he wants to do with the most beautiful woman in the entire world right now. "How are you feeling as I hold you in my arms?" Gabby smiled as Matt asked her how she was feeling as he held her in his arms, as she really loved it; turning her head, Gabby smiled as she went ahead and answered his question. "Oh, I love it more than anything." Matt smiled as Gabby said that, before wrapping his arms around her; after which, he bent down and proceeded to kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Matt just smiled as this really is everything that he wants to do right now. "I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that he loves her.
After which, she laid her head down on his chest again; meanwhile, Matt turned his head and kissed her forehead softly. Peppering her forehead with kisses, Matt smirked due to the fact that he's very comfortable with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "So, what are we going to do for the rest of the day?" Gabby laughed as Matt asked her that. "I think we both know what I'm going to be wearing in bed." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, as that is definitely something that he wants. "Want me to get you some lunch?" Running her hand down his muscular chest, Gabby smiled as he turned his head and bent down to kiss his chest softly. And let's just say that Matt loves that, as he's so damn happy to even be in the bath right now. "Or we could ask my mom to bring us food, as we cuddle up to each other in bed wearing some sexy clothes for each other." Looking down at his beautiful wife, Matt smirked due to the fact that this is something that he most definitely does like. "You mean lingerie?"
Gabby smirked as Matt asked her whether she was talking about lingerie, because she most definitely is talking about lingerie. "Oh, I most definitely am talking about lingerie. What do you think about that?" Matt laughed as he heard Gabby ask him that he thinks of it, because he most definitely loves the idea of her wearing lingerie (as they cuddle up to each other in bed) after their bath. "I am so glad that this is what we're doing right now." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she said that, before running his hand up and down her back; after which, he kissed the top of her head once again. After all, that's exactly what Gabby wants him to do right now. She wants her loving husband to hold her in his arms, as they cuddle up to each other in the bath. Running her hand down his muscular chest again, Gabby just smiled due to the fact that this is everything that the couple want to do right now. They just want to hold each other close as they cuddle up to each other. "God, this is absolutely perfect; don't you think so?"
Matt agreed with Gabby as she asked him whether this is perfect, and whether he thought the same way. "Oh, I most definitely feel the same way. I mean, what man doesn't like the feeling of his beautiful wife in his arms? While she's naked in the bath, in his arms? Oh, and add in the fact that she's pregnant; and that just makes things so much better." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case; after which, he turned his head and smiled as he left a soft kiss on her forehead. "God, I love you so much." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that he loves her, as that's something that she already knows. "Matt, I know that you love me; I'll always know that you love me." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before stroking her back with his thumb. "I guess I'm still trying to make up for some of the things I said sixteen months ago." Gabby was shocked that it's only been sixteen months. "Has it already been sixteen months?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she asked him whether it was sixteen months already, as it was.
"And thirteen months ago, we got pregnant with the boys; while you were visiting Chicago for Labor Day." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "Wow, a year ago we left to go on our trip." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she said that, as they both started to think about what they did right before they left to go on their trip.
