Chapter One Hundred and Six
Flashback: Last Morning in Chicago

Old Casey Home, Chicago – October 6, 2018
It was their last time waking up together in the bed of their Chicago home for months, the bed where they made love to each other both the night before; and where they are currently in the midst of making love to each other shortly after waking up together, in their marital bed. I mean, they're already naked; so, they might as well just take things nice and slow with each other one last time before they leave to go on their road trip. And while, at first, Gabby was a bit apprehensive at the idea of making love to each other before they left to go on their trip; Matt was (ultimately) able to convince her to do it. And let's just say that she's glad that she agreed to take it nice and slow with the man of her dreams before they leave, as she's very pleased that this is what they're in the midst of doing right now. Matt is just the best in bed, and the way he's touching her is incredible…it's exactly what she needs before they leave, and Matt is well aware that's the case. God, he just loves this woman so damn much; and she knows it.

She knows how much her husband truly loves her, and how much he wants to be with her for the rest of their lives; and that was due to the fact that he decided to take time away from the job he loves (almost) as much as he loves her just to private that to her. But, at the end of the day, this trip isn't just a sightseeing trip; rather, it's also a trip where they're going to take time away from their friends (and family) so that they can concentrate on fixing their marriage. This way, they can make sure that they can talk things through, and work things out; and this will allow them to have a long, happy marriage (which is unlike what their siblings had). Both Gabby's brother, as well as Matt's sister got divorced; their marriages failed, and they both don't want their marriage to go down that route. Rather, they want to be the couple in their family who makes it; as they believe in their love far too much for their marriage not to go the distance. And that's the entire reason why they're going on this trip together. To save their marriage.

They're going to do whatever they can to fix it, before they've got nothing to fix anymore; and it's going to be really nice. Just some time alone with the man of her dreams, the man who pleased her last night. Stroking Matt's cheek as she continued to take things nice and slow with the man she loves, Gabby smirked as she then proceeded to lean in and kissed him once again; an action that made Matt smile in return as he continued to kiss his beautiful wife (as it was what she wanted him to do). However, they both knew that they couldn't do this the entire time. Rather, they needed to get up so that they could get going. After all, that's what's on the agenda for today: them leaving to go on their trip; which was something that was quite exciting for the both of them, as they needed this time away. And they also need a honeymoon, which is something else that they were going to treat this road trip as; their honeymoon. The honeymoon that they've yet to take when they've already been married for almost two years; in fact, it's been 22 months as of today.

Their second wedding anniversary is in exactly two months, and that's something that Matt has already promised Gabby they're going to celebrate somewhere warm (or at least, they'll try and celebrate somewhere warm); especially when they aren't in a rush to come home. And Herrmann is going to make sure that can happen, by sending them their Molly's cheques on time, so that they aren't in a rush to come home; heck, Matt isn't really even in a hurry to get out of bed due to the fact that he's very turned on by his naked wife right now. He doesn't want to get up, and Gabby already knows that; but she does want to get up, as she wants to get out of here. She wants to go explore the country, and have fun with her loving husband; the husband who plans on driving their RV for her. "Baby, I love you; and I want to keep doing this but…" Matt laughed a bit as he heard Gabby say that, as he's already expected this to come at some point; after all, she isn't the only one that wants to get out of here, and get on the road to see America.

"Let me guess, you're ready to get out of here?" Gabby took a breath as she put her hand on Matt's chest and stroked it with her thumb, looking down in the process as she felt bad that she wanted to leave so soon; especially when they're having a lot of fun with each other in bed. However, Matt didn't want her to feel that way; so, he put his hand on her neck and pushed her head up again. "Hey, don't you dare feel bad. It's okay, because I want to get out of here; and I want to have fun with the woman I love. I want to go have fun with my beautiful wife, and I want to get out of here." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, before hearing him continue to speak. "And I also want to enjoy the woman I love, in the bed of our RV tonight." Gabby smirked as she heard Matt say that, as she most definitely does want to do that as well. "Don't worry, I promise that we're going to have a bunch of fun; and a bunch of intimate time with the man of her dreams." Gabby agreed with Matt, smiling as his wife. "I love you baby; I hope you know that."

Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, smiling at her. "Hey, of course I know that Gabby. I know that you love me, and I am so proud of the fact that you're my wife; and even better, I can't wait to explore the county with you. But there really is something that you need to do if you want to go do that." Gabby smiled and agreed with Matt when he told her that. "I'll go start the shower." Matt agreed with Gabby as she told him that she's going to star the shower, letting her go in the process. Getting out of his arms, Gabby smirked as she went ahead and grabbed her towel. But rather than wrap it around her body, she decided to walk away to the washroom in the nude. "Not fair!" Turning around to face her husband, Gabby smirked. "How about you show me how unfair it is?" Matt agreed with her when she said that, smirking as he watched her walk away so that they can get in the shower together. Getting up out of bed, he grabbed his towel and then went to walk away too so that he can join her in the shower this morning.

Pushing him back against the wall of the shower shortly after Matt got in the shower with her, Gabby smirked as she wanted to take full advantage of their current shower that they have here at home; after all, the shower in the RV was not as big as this one. Heck, the wife didn't even know whether she was going to be able to take showers in the RV with her man. But still, if there's a will, there's a way for them to do it. And if she knows her husband (which she does), she knows that he's going to find a way to get her in the shower with him. And the truth was, that was exactly what she wanted him to do. Them in the RV shower sounded like paradise, and it was exactly what she was going to want from her loving husband. Time together in the shower, where they are naked in each other's arms. Sure, they can do that in bed; but it's not as fun as when they do it in the shower. And neither is the sex that you can have when you're standing up in the shower; god, now that's really hot…and they both know that, especially since they're currently having some now.

Moving his hands to Gabby's lower back, Matt smirked as he felt Gabby move her hands to the top of his chest as he continued to kiss her; at the same time, he also made sure that their bodies were right against one another's (which is something that Gabby loves to feel). The feeling of them holding each other in the shower with nothing but their bodies right against one another's, it's just so damn hot; and it really turns her on, especially when Matt has his lips on Gabby's neck. Bending down, Matt smirked as he proceeded to leave a kiss on her neck; and let's just say that made her moan, which was exactly what she wanted to do with her husband. Leaning back, Gabby smirked as she wrapped her arms around his neck. Leaning back, Gabby looked at the man she loves while they took a breather; after which, she leaned in and started to take things nice and slow with Matt once again. "God, so sexy." Matt laughed as he heard Gabby say that, well aware that she finds it very sexy when they're in the shower together; and he feels the same way.

God, the feeling of her naked body against his chest is incredible. "God, I just love the feeling of your naked body against mine." Gabby agreed with Matt as he hold her that, smiling as she kissed him softly. She then continued to take things nice and slow with him, smirking when she felt him pick her up in his arms. He then turned around and went to push his beautiful wife's back against the shower. Leaning in, Matt kissed Gabby while smirking the entire time; after all, he wanted to just do this for a while. Taking things nice and slow with the woman of his dreams, Matt smiled when he felt Gabby wrap her arms around his head; afterwards, he moved his hands to her back again and just continued to take things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. And let's just say that this is exactly what Matt wanted to do with the woman he loves right now, as his wife is so damn sexy; and he's so glad that they're currently in the midst of having fun with each other in the shower. After all, this truly is paradise.

The lingerie that she was wearing for her husband right now was perfect, and it was definitely turning him on as he walked out of the washroom clad in nothing but his boxers (which is something that she might not see as much for a while). Looking up at Matt as he came out of the washroom (with his shower kit in his hands), Gabby smirked due to the fact that he was truly the most handsome man in the entire world; at least, she thought that he was the most handsome man in the entire world, and that's why she wanted to give him a baby someday (and will give him three actually); and it's because she wants to do it for the man she loves. But that was not her priority right now. Rather, just having fun is her priority; and she thinks that Matt feels the same way, especially as she watched him walk over to their bed. Grabbing his last bag, Matt just smiled at his beautiful wife before opening it to se it washroom kit down. "I hope you know that I expect something before you get dressed." Gabby looked up at Matt (again) when he said that before smirking.

"Oh, and what's that?" Matt then went ahead and wagged his finger at her, wanting her to walk around their bed and make her way over to her. Agreeing with her loving husband, Gabby smiled as she got ready to give him exactly what he wants right now. Turning around, Matt then went ahead and sat down on the edge of their bed; the bed that they slept in for the last time last night. At the same time, Gabby made her way over to him and just smirked as she moved to sit in his lap. Putting her hands on his chest as soon as she sat down in his lap, Gabby smirked as she looked down into Matt's eyes; after which, she wrapped her arms around his neck. Meanwhile, Matt wrapped his arms around her back and smiled at his girl; leaning up shortly afterwards, Matt smirked as he kissed the woman of his dreams softly. "I love you." Gabby smiled at Matt as he told her that, before looking down into his eyes at the same time; after which, she grabbed the back of his head once again so that she could take things slow with him once again.

"I love you too, and I'm really excited for this journey." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, smiling as that was exactly what he wanted to hear from her. He wants her to be excited for this journey, just as much as he's excited for this journey; as it's going to be something that they've never done before. Heck, he hasn't even seen the ocean before, so that's going to be perfect. "I can't wait to visit the ocean for the first time." Gabby looked at Matt when he mentioned that this is going to be the first time that he visits the ocean, which is something that she didn't believe. "No, you've been to the ocean before." Matt shook his head when he heard Gabby state that he's been to the ocean before, which he hasn't. "Nope, never been to the ocean before; so, I am going to be going to see it for the first time on this trip." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, smiling as she can't wait to see him experience that. "Well, you're going to love that experience; especially since we're going to do it together." Matt agreed with Gabby smiling.

"I most definitely love that part, that I'm going to be able to see the ocean for the first time with the woman I love more than anything in the entire world." Gabby agreed with Matt when he told her that, smirking as she felt the same way; and she really means that, as she thinks this is going to be the best experience that they get to share together. Grabbing the back of his head again, Gabby smirked as she sat up and then bent down to kiss him softly. Shocked that Gabby just did that, Matt moved his hands to her back as they started to take things nice and slow with each other. "Listen, how about we get dressed before we do what we're going to do in the RV next time." Matt laughed as he heard Gabby say that. "Yeah, then we can go get some breakfast. By the way, happy 22 months." Gabby was confused as she heard Matt say that. "It's October 6th today." Gabby laughed, smiling at the man of her dreams. "Then happy 22 months to you too baby. I'm glad that we've made it to 22 months, and I want to make it to 24 months now." Matt agreed with Gabby.

"And we will. By the way, where do you want to be on our anniversary?" Gabby smiled at him. "Maybe we can be in Florida or California. Depends on where we go." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that.
