Chapter One Hundred and Nine
Heart Stopping, Plan Changing News

October 1st, 2019 – 72 Hours Later, Casey Home
This was not their original plan, their plan for what they were going to be doing for a couple days. He and Gabby were going to go to Hawaii, spend a few days alone at their place there, and just take it easy; but that was not going to happen, not when their friend needs them. And not just in Los Angeles, but with him right now; and there was a reason for that, a reason that's quite scary. It was the worst possible scare that any father could have to deal with, and that's why Matt was currently walking around his room; even though it was currently 4 in the morning, clad in nothing but his boxers. He was trying his best to be quiet, but that wasn't what Andy was doing; he just couldn't help himself, and he had to wake his wife up this morning by barking. Turning his head as he walked up to his dresser, Matt was not happy as that was the last thing that Matt wanted him to do. "Andy, shut up." But it was too late, as Gabby was already awake. Waking up in bed, Gabby turned her head and looked at the man she loves; the man who was standing there.

"Matt?" Turning his head when he heard Gabby's voice, Matt took a breath before watching as she turned her bedside lamp on; after which, she proceeded to grab her phone so that she could check on the time. "Baby, it's four in the morning. What's going on? Is it the boys?" Matt could clearly tell that Gabby was worried when he said that, as that most definitely isn't what's happening. "Hey, no. Take a breath; just relax baby, but I need to tell you that your plans have changed." Gabby was confused when she heard Matt say that, before sitting up; at the same time, Matt sighed as he made his way over to her. "Hey, hey; look at me. What's wrong? Talk to me." Matt just took a breath as he walked up to Gabby's side of the bed, before sitting down next to his beautiful wife; after which, he put his hand on her stomach as he looked at the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "There's something that you need to know." Gabby was confused as she heard Matt say that, just looking at the man she loves. "What is it baby? Talk to me."

Matt took a breath as he looked at the woman he loves, before going to grab her neck; after which, Matt proceeded to stroke her cheek as he stared into her eyes. "It's Jay and Alex's twins. He just called us, and he let us know that one of their twins' hearts stopped." Gabby was absolutely shocked as she heard her husband tell her that, as she knew that this was something scary. "Oh no." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that this is scary; and that was why he needed to do something, for his friend. After which, he got close to his wife, as he could tell that it was what she needed; she needed him to hug her, so he did just that. He hugged the woman he loves, and made her feel better, which is most definitely what happened as they held each other this early morning, ahead of them having to get up. "I know, I'm sorry about this." Gabby agreed with her husband when he said that. "So, I can only assume that we're going to the hospital so that we can go be with them?" Matt agreed with his wife, smiling at her.

"Yeah, I'll…" That's when Matt realized something, and that would be that Gabby said 'we're'; as in, the both of them. "Wait, we?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, as that most definitely is something that they're going to do. "Listen, I promise; we can just go quick, make sure that they're okay…and then we can still do our…" Putting her hand on Matt's face, Gabby shook her head as that most definitely isn't what they're going to do; they aren't going to go anywhere, nor are they going to go somewhere romantic when they need to be with their friends. "Hey, of course not. We'll stay here…" That's when Matt and Gabby both heard a knock on their door, which made Matt sigh; after which, he get up and walked over to his and Gabby's door so that he can go see what was going on at their door. He then went ahead and opened it, popping his head out to see who it was; that was, until he saw that it was Antonio. "Hey, sorry. I hope I didn't wake you guys up." Getting up from their bed, Gabby grabbed her robe. "Baby, go get dressed."

Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before going to walk away so that he can get dressed. "Want me to take some of your clothes out? Or are you going to take a shower?" Gabby looked at the man she loves when she said that. "No, I can take one later when we're home." Matt agreed with his wife as she said that. "Want just some of your cozy jeans and one of my shirts?" Gabby agreed with her husband. "The jeggings that I have." Matt agreed with his wife as she said that, before walking over to their closet so that he can go get their clothes out; at the same time, Gabby made her way over to her and Matt's door so that she could look at her brother. "Hey, you get the news about the twins?" Antonio sighed. "Yeah, that's why I was coming here; I wanted to know if Matt was going to go, then I didn't have to take my car." Matt then proceeded to yell out to Antonio. "CAN YOU GO MAKE BREAKFAST ANTONIO? I NEED TO GET ANDY READY." Antonio agreed. "Can we get a ride together?" Matt agreed. "Sure thing. Just stay quiet for the sake of the boys."

Antonio agreed before looking at Gabby, smiling at his sister. "So much for a romantic time with your husband." Gabby laughed, shaking her head as she looked at her brother. "It's okay. I would rather be with our friends, as we make sure that everything is okay." Antonio agreed with Gabby, smiling at his sister. "What would you like to have for breakfast?" Gabby smirked. "Can you make me some off your eggs?" Antonio smiled as Gabby said that, more than ready to do that. "Well, I will be doing that." Gabby smiled as she proceeded to hug her brother, before kissing his cheek. "I love you Antonio." Antonio agreed with his sister. "Just remember to breathe, as we want to make sure that these girls of yours stay okay." Gabby agreed with Antonio as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Antonio, wake up and remember that it's just one girl; not twins, we already had our twins. We aren't having twin girls." Antonio agreed with Gabby as she said that, before proceeding to walk away so that he could go make some breakfast today.

At the same time, Gabby took a breath while closing the door; after which, she went to make her way to the bathroom so that she could talk to her husband. After all, she knew him better than anybody; and she could just tell that something else was on his mind, something other than the fact that his friend's child was having heart problems. And she had a feeling why that was the case: as they had to deal with this same thing, while they were in the hospital with the boys; so, she understands completely why they had to go to the hospital together. So she's going to talk to him about it, and make sure that he's okay; and she's going to do that before they even leave their room. Walking over to the washroom in her robe, Gabby took a breath as she walked into the bathroom to see Matt standing at the counter in his boxers; at the same time, she let out a sigh and just looked at the man she loves. "Matt." Turning to look at Gabby, Matt took a breath as he knew that something was up. "Sorry, I…" Gabby shook her head as she heard Matt say that.

Reaching her hand out, Gabby wanted Matt to grab it; and that was exactly what he did for her, which prompted Gabby to lead him back out to their bed. That way, she could give him a kiss; and hopefully, she could make him feel better. After all, he needs just that.

Matt and Gabby were now back in bed with each other, the couple needing to take a moment with each other to breathe; that way, Matt was calm for both his sake, and for Gabby's sake. Heaven knows if her husband is worried, then Gabby is going to be worried; and they both know that her worrying, will lead to her having problems (which can also cause her to miscarry). And that's the last thing that they want to happen, so Matt agreed to do this; he agreed to sit in bed for a moment, and just breathe. Cuddling up to her man as they held each other close, Gabby took a breath as she put her hands on his face and made sure that Matt was feeling better right now; at the same time, Matt put his hand on her side and looked into Gabby's eyes. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Matt smiled as he ran his hand up and down her back. "Matt, just take a breath and relax." Matt sighed, agreeing with the woman he loves as he said that. "Yeah, I know." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case.

Taking a breath, Matt smiled as he looked at the woman he loves; after which, he grabbed her hand and looked into his wife's eyes. At the same time, Andy came to join then in bed; laying down right next to his patient, Andy smiled as he yelped a bit (the dog knowing that he can't bark too loud for the sake of their children). And let's just say that Matt and Gabby were both really appreciative of that, which Matt showed him by scratching the top of his head; and let's just say that this is exactly what they needed to do with each other right now. They need to hold each other close, and just take it easy; especially since this is part of his PTSD, from when Gabby gave birth to the boys prematurely. "Listen, I know that this is bringing up memories from the time where I gave birth prematurely; but you need to talk to me, okay Matt?" Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she said that, well aware that was the case; after which, he opened her robe and put his hand on her side. Just looking at the woman he loves as they hold each other, Matt smiled.

At the same time, Gabby cuddled up to Matt and ran her hand up and down his beck; meanwhile, Matt moved his hand to the back of her head and proceeded to kiss her forehead softly. "I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that he loves her, which is something that she knows better than anybody; after all, she is the love of his life, and he's hers. And boy, that's really something that she enjoys. The way he makes her feel, and the way that they get to hold each other close; that will always be something that she loves doing with the man she loves more than anything in the entire world, hold him close as she makes him feel better. And that was exactly what she was in the midst of doing right now, as they both knew that she was making him feel better just by holding him. "Thanks for making me feel better, I really appreciate this." Gabby agreed with her loving husband as he told her that, well aware that was the case. "Hey, take a breath and relax baby; because I know that you feel this way, and I feel this way too." Matt smiled.

"Now, I want you to remember that you should've woken me up; because I want to go with you, and I want to be there for Jay and Alex." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before moving his hand to her neck; after which, he started to take things nice and slow with the woman of his dreams once again. "I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that he loves her, because she knows that. "I know that baby, but you just need to take it easy. And you should've woken me up, because I would've loved to take a shower with you this morning." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she said that, before wrapping his arm around her. "And I promise, we can take a shower together; or even a bath together later, when we're home again." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, smiling due to the fact that this is everything that the couple want to do right now; after which, Matt cuddled up to the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. Putting his hand on her back, Matt stroked her back as they held each other.

At the same time, Gabby turned her head and looked up at the man she loves more than anything in the entire world; doing the same, Matt smiled as he bent down and proceeded to kiss the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. Taking things nice and slow with Gabby, Matt smirked due to the fact that she was making him feel much better. "God, I am so glad that you're making me feel better." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that. "I will always make sure that you feel better baby, because that's my job as your wife." Matt while as he heard Gabby say that. After which, he proceeded to grab her hand and intertwined their fingers; which most certainly is exactly what Gabby wanted him to do, as it led him to grab her hand and intertwine their fingers. "God, I love you so much." Gabby smiled due to the fact that they're both happy right now, and just cuddled up to each other. "Listen, what do you say we just get dressed; then, we can go have breakfast. Or do you want to do something else first?" Matt laughed as Gabby said that.

"No, we're going to just take it easy; and we're going to go have breakfast. But still, you need to go take a shower." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before smiling as she leaned in and kissed him softly. Taking things nice and slow with the man of her dreams, Gabby smirked. "Listen, we need to get out of here." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she said that, smiling due to the fact that he loves her more than anything in the entire world; after which, Gabby smirked as she proceeded to get up in order to tease her husband. Walking away in her little underwear, Gabby could tell that Matt was not happy about what she just did. "HEY!" Gabby smirked as she heard Matt complain. "Get dressed, then let's get going to go have breakfast with my brother." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, getting up so that he can go get dressed; that way, they can go have breakfast ahead of them going to the hospital. That way, they can support their friends after the events of this morning; events that they know from experience are hard on them.

Walking out of the washroom after taking his shower, Matt smiled as he loved the sight that was in front of him; the sight of his gorgeous wife, standing at the end of their bed in a tight dress. "Oh, wow." Turning around to look at the man she loves as she heard him say that, Gabby blushed as she could tell that he liked the dress she chose to wear. "Do you think that this is too much? I mean, we're just going to support our friends, and…" Matt smirked as he stopped Gabby by putting his hand up, not wanting her to say anything else. "Hey, don't say anything else Ms. Casey." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware the fact that he likes the sight in front of him. I mean, that's the only explanation that she can have for how he was feeling right now, which was pure joy over the fact that she was wearing this dress, which Matt will enjoy both now…and later. "You look beautiful, and I so glad that you decided to wear this right now." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, well aware that was the case. "And what's underneath."

Matt was a bit confused when he heard Gabby say that, before realizing what she was talking about. "Oh…" Walking over to his beautiful wife after hearing her say that, Matt couldn't help but smirk due to the fact that he was extremely happy over what that meant; so much so, that he got nice and close to his girl. After which, he put his hands on her arms and looked at the woman he loves while she put her hands on his chest. Leaning in, Gabby smirked as she started to take things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you so much." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that because she feels the same way. "I love you too, and I'm glad that we're going to be just taking it easy with each other; and at the same time, we're going to go be with our friends." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before smiling as she wrapped her arms around him; after which, he moved his hand to her neck and smiled at the woman he loves more than anything. "I want to take you out after. Maybe we go out for the night."

Gabby laughed. "You mean go to a hotel again?" Matt shook his head. "Or maybe we just come back here and have some time together. Or we can sneak away back to Honolulu and stay there." Gabby thought about that, before shaking her head as she doesn't want to be that far away from her boys. "The only way I could be okay with that, is if we brought the boys with us; and that would mean that we would have to bring one of our moms." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, well aware that was the case. "Okay, then we can just come back here again." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, before getting close to him so that she can wrap her arms around him; after which, she cuddled up to her loving husband and laid her head down on his chest. Moving his hand to the back of her head, Matt smiled as he kissed her forehead softly. He then pushed her head up, Matt smiled as he bent down and proceeded to kiss the woman he loves. "I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "I love you too."

Matt then turned around when he heard Andy bark at him, noticing that he has his leach in his mouth. "I swear, it's like he already knows what we're doing." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before watching as he let her go; after which, Matt proceeded to make his way over to Andy so that he can put his leach on. "Okay, calm down buddy. We're just going to put your leach on, then we can go." Andy agreed with Matt when he said that, before watching as he put his leach on; after which, he calmed down as they both stood up. At the same time, Matt smiled as he turned to look at Gabby; reaching his hand out, he waited for Gabby to grab it so that they could walk out of their room together. But before Gabby grabbed it, she noticed that Matt didn't have something; more specifically, he didn't have his wallet (which also contained his Driver's License). Walking away to get it, Gabby smiled as she picked it up and just look at her loving husband. "I think you need this." Matt agreed with Gabby, laughing a little bit. "Thanks."

Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, before giving his wallet to him; after which, Matt grabbed it and put it in his pocket. After which, he reached out so that Gabby could grab his hand; doing just that, Gabby smiled as she intertwined their fingers so that they can walk out of their room. "You ready to do this?" Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, as he most definitely is ready to go visit their friends. "Of course I'm ready to go visit their friends." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, continuing to walk out of their room so that they can go see their friends (Jay and Alex); where they'll give them some support, during this hard time.
