Chapter 249: Tomorrow is something special...
(May 29. Gus' Games n' Grub. Royal Woods Michigan.)
We see the game Dance-Dance Revolution, and Lincoln Loud and Jordan Rosato finish playing, and they both have gained a new High Score, beating their previous High Score. They were dancing to the song called "Happy" by Pharrell Williams.
"We did damn good again, and kept our score on the top ranks for couples players" replied Lincoln.
Jordan chuckles. "Dodge Ball and Gym Class, are both good ways to improve on foot work."
The duo then see Gus wave to them, and they go over and take their seat, and he presents the pizza which is done, a Pineapple and Pepperoni Pizza, and both enjoy eating this. Jordan then asks. "So, tomorrow is you're birthday."
Lincoln nods. "Yup, and I know that the whole thing is gonna be a surprise party. That kinda stuff, it has been like that for some time, and it never ever gets old."
Jordan then asks. "And, what about Rita and Lynnard?"
Lincoln sighs. "Those two, they usually forget my birthday, but it is Luna and the older sisters who always remember about it, and they always do what they can to make it special. They even use the cash they earned as allowances or from doing work around the neighborhood, mostly Luna."
"There was this one time, back when I was gonna turn ten. My sisters and I, we were having the time of our life with the birthday party they helped manage, and thanks to Leni and Luan. Then Lynnard and Rita showed up and asked what they were all celebrating and they said that there is nothing special about the day we were doing. That one... That one hits hard on me when they said it."
"That day, I have never ever seen Luna so angry, and tag teamed with Lori as well. Those two let those two neglectful idiots have at it, with harsh words and a stern talk. Because of Lori and Luna, those two greeted me a Happy Birthday, and just went back to their room. They didn't even have anything to give to me, not even a hug."
Jordan is shocked to hear this. "Those stupid... Ugh, those two are horrible parents!"
Lincoln nods. "Yeah, they are. But, this year is different. Because Lynnard and Rita won't be there, and it's going to be better for tomorrow. A birthday party that I will never ever forget."
They then continue their lunch, but Amanda Bright heard this after she was interviewing Gus about the history of this place. 'Looks like I got more to inform my boss, she'll wanna make an arc article about those two, nitwit parents.'
(Meanwhile, back at the Loud House.)
The Loud sisters, and Michelle Lewis are gathered in the Living Room, and then she speaks to them. "Alright, so this meeting for Lincoln birthday party tomorrow is now under way. Do you all know what to do?" They all nod and have determination in their eyes.
Lori. "Help clean the house and make sure everything looks nice."
Leni. "Setup the decorations, which are Lincoln's fave color."
Luan. "Make sure the guests are there before he comes back."
Lynn Jr. "Clyde said he'll handle the food, and I'll keep an eye out for when he comes back."
Lucy. "Keep an eye on everyone before the party begins, and make sure nothing goes wrong."
The twins. "We'll keep an eye on all the pets."
Lisa. "Secure all the birthday parents, and make sure he doesn't notice them yet."
Lily just giggles and claps. Luna smiles, she hugs Lily and she kisses her cheek. "I'll do my part, and help with keeping Linc occupied, unless you got something else for me to do mom. Also, I made the call and some special guests will make sure that his birthday is the best one ever."
Michelle nods, and then she asks. "Anyone here forgot to get Lincoln something?" They see Luan and Lynn are shocked, they are the two who forgot, and Michelle sighs and she hands them some cash. "Use five hundred bucks, and get him something and make sure it is neatly gift wrapped."
Luan and Lynn leave the house, and take their bike and unicycle to the mall. Michelle does see this and she questions. 'Wait, wait. Luan has a bike, why did she use that instead?'
Leni then speaks. "Lincoln is totes gonna love this birthday party that we have for him, better than the previous ones."
Lola then speaks. "Because those two morons aren't here to make things any worse. I mean, I have never seen Lori and Luna tag team into anger against them."
Lori smirks. "Well, those two were saying words that sounded mean, and Lincoln's birthday is a special day, those two were being dumb and literally stupid." Deep down, she regrets calling them her parents.
Luna and Michelle are happy to see the others looking forward and excited for tomorrow, because tomorrow is going to be the best dang birthday ever, for Lincoln Loud.
