Chapter One Hundred and Thirteen
Grace Casey, Kyle, and Stephen Severide

To say that Matt liked the dream that he just had this afternoon was an understatement, as he loved the dream that he just had while he was taking the nap; I mean, what father doesn't like the idea of dreaming about his (future) daughter. Another thing that he loves to dream about? It was the name that they were going to give their daughter, and that most definitely was something that he felt like he needed to talk to Gabby about; and that would be the name they would give their daughter, which is something that they need to talk about (again) now that they have that dream. And he just hopes that Gabby is open to that conversation because he likes the name Grace just as much as he loves the Emma. So, he's in a win-win situation. If they agree to change the name that they're going to use for their daughter, then he's going to be a happy man; and if they decide to keep using the name Emma for their daughter, then he's more than happy to do that. And now, it's exactly what he's going to say to his beautiful wife; but first, he needs her to wake up.

And let's just say that was exactly what Gabby was in the midst of doing this afternoon, while also running her hand down his muscular chest; after which, she bent down to kiss his muscular chest. And let's just say that Matt loves that feeling because it's really nice. "God, I am so glad that you just kissed my chest. It's such a nice feeling, and I am so glad that's how you woke up." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Oh, I know you love the feeling of my lips on your chest." Moving to roll over onto his side, Matt smiled as he made sure that Gabby was comfortable. "Listen, I want to lay down next to you; that way, I can cuddle up to you another way." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, glad that was what he wanted to do right now. "First, can you tell me what time it is?" Turning his head, Matt smiled when he saw that it was currently 4:50. "It's ten to five." Gabby was shocked as she heard Matt tell her that it was ten to five, as that most definitely is later than she thought it was. "Wow, it's later than I expected."

Matt agreed with Gabby as he felt the same way, not that he's really complaining; especially since it means that he gets to relax with Gabby some more, and because they can just take it easy as they lay down in each other's arms. "You comfortable?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he asked her whether she was comfortable, as she most definitely was comfortable. "Oh, I mist definitely am comfortable. And that's because I'm in your arms." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before smiling as he proceeded to get close to the beautiful woman he's proud to call his wife; after which, he tugged her body against his chest as they both held each other close. At the same time, Gabby put her hands on his chest and just smiled due to the fact that this is something that she loves doing; she loves being held by her husband, and it's just what she wants to do right now. She wants to hold her husband close to her, as they take it easy with each other. At the same time, Matt decided that it was time to bring something up to Gabby, the name Grace.

"So, listen, I want to bring something up with you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, smiling at the man she loves. "What's going on? You okay?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she asked him whether everything was okay, because it was well, mostly. There was just one thing that wasn't okay, and that was the feeling that he had with regards to the name that they've already chosen for their daughter; and that's why they need to talk about that. "Well, I had a nice dream why we were taking a nap." Gabby smiled when he said that, before cuddling up to Matt once again; after which, she wrapped her arms around his muscular torso. At the same time, Matt smiled as he put his hand on Gabby's back (more specifically, her shoulder blade) before stroking it with his thumb; after which, he leaned in and proceeded to kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Matt smirked due to the fact that he loves her more than anything. "What do you think of the name Grace Marie Casey?" Gabby was a bit taken aback as she heard that.

"What? Where did that come from?" Matt sighed as he looked at the woman he loves, well aware of what she was thinking; she was wondering why he was thinking of changing the name that they already chose for their daughter. "Yeah, I know what you mean; you want to know what's happening in my head when it comes to why I'm thinking of changing the name of our daughter." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, as that most definitely was exactly what she was thinking about right now. "Yeah, so you better start talking Mr. Casey; because I want some answers, and I want to make sure that you tell me what's going on." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that. "I just had one of those vivid dreams." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, because it made so much sense now; this was why he wanted to talk to her about changing their daughter's name from Emma, to Grace. "So, let me guess; the name of our daughter in your dream was Grace instead of Emma?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she asked him that, before smiling at his girl.

He then decided to just bring Gabby closer to him, before putting his hand on her leg; stroking it with his thumb shortly afterwards, Matt smiled as he was really happy with the woman he loves. "The name was Grace Marie Casey." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, as she did like that name. "Yeah, I like that name; I have to say that." Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that, before she put her hand on his cheek. After which, Matt moved his hand to her arm while leaning in to kiss the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world; and the only woman he ever wants to have children with, which is exactly what he's going to be blessed with. He's going to be blessed with many children thanks to this beautiful woman whom he's currently cuddling up to in bed, while their family takes care of their sons. "So, what are you thinking of the name that I just mentioned?" Gabby smiled as Matt asked her that, because she most definitely loves the name that he just proposed. "Oh, I most definitely do love the name that you just proposed."

Matt laughed as he heard Gabby say that, before looking at the woman he loves; after which, he leaned in and proceeded to kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves (and craves) more than anything in the entire world, Matt just smirked due to the fact that this is everything that they both want. "I'm happy." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, before going to grab her hand; after which, she stroked his hand and just smiled at the most handsome man in her world. And that's why they're currently in the midst of holding each other close, as they just cuddled up to each other and relaxed in bed right now. "So, what do you want to do for the rest of the day?" Gabby laughed as Matt asked her what she wanted to do for the rest of the day, as this most definitely is exactly what she wants to do for the rest of the day; she wants to cuddle up to the man she loves more than anything, but she also knows that she needs to do something for the sake of their daughter. They need to get some food in her, at least a snack.

"Well, I know that there's one thing that I need to do for you." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, well aware that was the case. "Yeah, I know what you mean; you need to get me a snack." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before getting nice and close to her; wrapping his arm around her, Matt smiled as he leaned in and proceeded to kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Matt smirked due to the fact that this is exactly what he wants to do right now; he wants to take things nice and slow with her amazing husband. "God, as much as I want to do this for the rest of the day; I think we know that I need to get a snack." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that. "You know, you also need to get a bit of non-sexual exercise too." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware of just what he was talking about. "I guess you want to go downstairs for a bit?" Matt shrugged. "If you're up for it. Plus, I have this weird feeling that someone else is here so spend time with us." Gabby then thought about it. "Kelly and Stella."

Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that. "How about I go start us a snack? You want some pasta?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he asked her whether she wants some pasta. "Yes, and then you can spend some time with Kelly; I want to spend a bit of time with Stella. I can't believe we haven't seen them yet." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before smiling as he leaned in and kissed her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman of his dreams, Matt smirked as this truly is perfect. "God, I love you so much." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that he loves her, because that most definitely is something that she knows. "Listen, I am going to get up and get dressed; then I'll go see Stella and hang out. Meanwhile, you can see how Kelly's doing." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before leaning in so that he can kiss her again; after which, he went ahead and got up. "Maybe he's making something for Stella." Gabby agreed. "I want to spend time with them." Matt agreed. "No boys though." Gabby agreed, getting up.

After which, she proceeded to get up so that she can get dressed; then, she would be able to go visit her best friend (and her boys). "I can only assume that you're really happy that Kelly and Stella are parents now?" Gabby smiled. "I am, because I actually have a bit of a surprise for Stella." Walking over to her dresser, Gabby smiled. "You remember how I said that I had to use that ELLA budget for a prototype?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before going to walk up to his dresser; after which, he grabbed his shorts (that he already had out) before going to put them on over his boxers. At the same time, he went to grab his shirt. "Yeah, I do." Gabby then smiled as she proceeded to grab the prototype that she made for Stella, which she was going to be giving to her; a couple of them actually, for their newborn sons. "Tell me what you think of these for their twins." Watching as Gabby walked up to him, Matt did the same so that he could go ahead and grab the clothes that she was going to give to Kelly and Stella. "Some of them are used too."

Matt then went to grab the clothes that Gabby was going to give to Stella, before smiling as they are both really adorable. "I agree that you can give these to them, because they aren't clothes that were special to us." Gabby laughed. "Oh, I am not giving away any of THOSE outfits; that's something that you can be assured of." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, glad that she wasn't going to be giving away some of the outfits that were related to some of the most important times in their lives; more specifically, when they brought the boys home. "I'm glad that we're going to keep those because we can use them in the future. I don't know why but…" Gabby smiled. "You want to go for another daughter in the future?" Matt smiled. "Maybe, I'm not sure. I just have this feeling that Grace is not going to be our last child, and I can't explain why. But we will take a break." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before going to get close to him; she then wrapped her arms around him as she looked up into his eyes this (late) afternoon.

After which, Matt wrapped his arms around her and smiled as he bent down to kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Matt smirked due to the fact that he loves Gabby so much. "I love you, and I am ready to go spend some time with the boys; we need to do that, because we're here. And we need to get out of our room for a bit." Gabby agreed with Matt. "I'll send Kelly down to help you with supper, because I want to spend time with our friends." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that. "Oh, do me a favor?" Gabby was confused as she heard Matt say that. "And what's that?" Matt smirked. "Maybe you can talk Stella into letting me and Kelly share our first beer and cigar as dads today?" Gabby laughed as she heard Matt say that, well aware that was something that they definitely do want to do with each other. "Oh, I am most definitely going to do that for you." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before kissing her softly. "Thanks baby." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, before going to walk away today.

Walking up to their best friend's room in their home, Gabby smiled as she got ready to knock on the door so that she could see how her best friend was doing today; after all, she very much knows how things are after you just give birth. You don't want to move, and you want to stay in bed; heck, you barely even want to shop. And the truth is, she completely understood why that was the case; but that didn't mean that she wasn't going to need to talk to her best friend, nor did it mean that she was going to have to give her something. More specifically, Gabby had to give her best friend (and her husband) some clothes; after which, she's going to kick her best friend's husband downstairs so that he can go help her husband with supper. Just knocking on the door, Gabby smiled as she waited to get the go ahead with opening the door; because she already knew that she was going to get it. But first, she was going to get a groan from her best friend. "Seriously, Kelly! I told you to go for a run for a reason, I needed a bit of quiet time."

Gabby laughed as she heard her best friend say that, before opening the door so that she could pop her head in. "So, I guess you don't want some clothes for Kyle and Stephen?" Turning her head, Stella soon realized that it was her best friend, and not her husband. "Yeah, that makes a lot more sense now; because Kelly wouldn't knock." Gabby agreed with Stella when she said that, smiling as she looked at her best friend; after which, she walked in with the bags of clothes. "Do you mind if I come in? Matt is going to make some supper? And he's hoping to spend a bit of time with Kelly." Stella sighed as she heard that, well aware of what Gabby was trying to say; so much so, that she went to grab her phone so that she could text her husband. More specifically, she had to send her husband a text to let him know what he can share a beer with his best friend, which is something that Kelly has been wanting to do since she gave birth. That's when she went ahead and opened the text message thread that she was sharing with her husband, Kelly Severide.

'Help Matt with supper and enjoy your first beer as a father with your best friend.'

Stella then hit send on her message, before turning to look at Gabby. "One, Two, Three…." Gabby and Stella then both heard Kelly yell. "LOVE YOU STELLA!" And that most definitely made the two wives laugh, as it was funny. After which, Gabby smiled as she proceeded to walk over to her honorary nephews Kyle and Stephen. Just looking down at them, Gabby smiled as they really are adorable. "Okay, which is which?" Stella smiled. "Kyle is on the left; Stephen is on the right." Gabby smiled as she heard Stella say that, before looking down at the boys; after which, she shook her head as the names were perfectly assigned. The reason? Kyle looks very much like his father, and Stephen looks very much like his mother. "Well, I get why you did that, because they look a lot like you guys." Stella laughed as she heard Gabby say that, before looking at her best friend. "How are you and Matt doing?" Turning her head, Gabby was confused. "What are you talking about?" Stella just looked at her best friend. "Your husband speaks loud sometimes."

Gabby then thought about that, realizing that. "Sorry." Stella agreed with Gabby as she said that, before smiling at her best friend. "So, I hope you didn't expect me to have a whole bunch of new designs for you." Gabby laughed as she heard Stella say that, as that was the last thing that she expected her best friend to say; and she's going to make it clear to her, that she needs to rest right now. Walking over to her friend's bed, Gabby smiled as she got ready to join her in bed. "Can I get in and rest?" Stella agreed with Gabby as she asked him whether she can get in bed with her, because she most definitely can. "Yes, you can get in bed with me." Gabby nodded, smiling as she opened the covers and then went to sit in bed with her best friend; sitting down again afterwards, Gabby smiled as she leaned back against Kelly's Pillow. "God, now this is comfortable." Stella laughed. "Yeah, just remember that it's also pretty sweaty." Gabby shook her head. "I just changed the bed remember?" Stella agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware of that fact.

"So, how's motherhood?" Stella laughed as she heard Gabby ask her that, before trying to sit up; but that was not what Gabby wanted her to do, as she needed to take it easy and just relax. "Hey, no. Take it easy and just relax girl. That's what you need to do right now. You need to relax, lay down and just take it easy." Stella agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case. "Yeah, I know what you mean." Gabby smirked. "And you also know what it means, right?" Stella was confused as she heard Gabby say that. "What are you talking about girl?" Gabby smirked as she looked at her best friend, before grabbing her hand. "It means that you have permission to sit in bed, relax, and get your husband to wait on you in bed." Stella laughed as Gabby say that, well aware that was the case. "Oh god, I love that." Gabby smiled as she heard Stella say that, before getting her to calm down. "You need to take it easy though girl, just relax." Stella agreed with Gabby as she said that, listening to her as she knows what she's talking about.

After all, she did just give birth to her own twins. "So, how are you feeling after giving birth?" Stella laughed. "Tired, happy, sore." Gabby agreed with Stella when she said that. "I don't want to hear you complaining about it though." Stella just looked at Gabby when she said that. "And why not?" Gabby laughed. "Because last time I checked, I went right from having to deal with what you're dealing with; and then I went ahead and got pregnant again." Stella looked at Gabby when she said that. "Uhm, last time I checked…that was a you and Matt problem, not me problem. I just pushed out two boys." Gabby was shocked when she heard Stella say that, as she thought that she had a C-Section. "Wait, you did a vaginal birth? For both of the boys?" Stella agreed with Gabby as she said that. "Yeah, let's just say that my husband owes me a nice massage." Gabby laughed as she heard Stella say that, well aware that was the case. "Oh, I can definitely see that happening." Stella smiled as she looked at her best friend. "You going to do a natural birth now?"

Gabby smiled. "I actually just had a dream about it. I want to do a natural birth so bad now." Stella agreed with Gabby when she said that, smiling at her best friend. "So, did you already find out the gender? I thought I heard something about that, but there's a lot of things that are still blurry." Gabby agreed with Stella when she said that, smiling at her. "Grace Marie Casey." Stella just looked at her best friend when she said that, before smiling as Gabby told her daughter's name to her; and boy was it a beautiful name. "I love that name. But I thought that you were going to name your daughter after Shay." Gabby agreed with Stella when she said that, as that was the plan; but she changed her mind recently, as she wants to do the name Grace. "No, I want to honor my faith; because that's what I think this is, faith. I feel like this is faith, us getting pregnant this soon." Stella agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case. "Oh, and it's also because you want to have a big family." Gabby smiled as she heard Stella say that, as that was the case.

"Oh, shut up, you already know that there are many other reasons why I want this. This is an amazing life, and I want to give my loving husband exactly what he wants; and that's a daughter, because I know that he would be a great girl dad." Stella agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case. "I'm sure that he can learn some things from Jay. Well, after they get back to their place after all." Gabby sighed, shaking her head. "I hate that it happened to them, and I just feel so bad for them. Did you see them before you left?" Stella agreed with Gabby as she asked her whether she saw their friends before she left, because she did. "I made it a point to go see them once, because I wanted to remind them that they could always call us if they need to." Gabby agreed with Stella when she said that, before taking a breath. "I hate this." Stella agreed. "Tell me about it, because this is not what we want for them." Gabby agreed. "I mean, who does want this? We both know that we want them to just take it easy, and just have a nice time."

Stella agreed with Gabby as she said that, smiling at her. "I just wish we could do something else, other than just being there to talk to them." Gabby agreed with Stella, smiling at her. "I know what you mean, but aren't Will and Natalie there too?" Stella shook her head. "They only work on the weekend, but I think that they're going to visit his brother today; and every day that they can, because they need to be there so that they can support his brother." Gabby smiled as she heard Stella say that, before hearing her phone ding. Turning her head, she went to look at it; after which, she saw that it was a text from Natalie. 'Hey, do you still have all of those resource links to all of those websites?' Going to read the text, Gabby agreed before opening the web browser on her phone; after which, Gabby went ahead and texted them to Natalie (so that she could send them to Alex and Jay). 'I think that this is all of them.' And let's just say that Natalie was very grateful that Gabby juts sent those links to her. 'Thanks Gabby, I'll have to bookmark these.'

Gabby then thought of something. 'Talk to Matt about creating a website for the Clinic, then you can put them on there permanently.' And immediately after Gabby texted her that; Natalie was quite happy over the fact that she just suggested that. 'Oh, I am going to do that. Maybe you can talk to your husband first? Make sure that it isn't out of the blue.' Gabby agreed with Natalie when she said that, smiling so that she can text her one last time. 'I will do just that. Maybe I can even suggest it. Send Alex and Jay my love. Talking to Stella now.' Gabby then proceeded to set her phone down, before turning to look at Stella. "Sorry about all of that." Stella agreed with Gabby as she said that, a bit confused as to what her friend was doing. "What were you doing anyways?" Gabby smiled. "Natalie asked me for all of those resources that she sent me, the ones about how to deal with kids in the NICU." Stella agreed with Gabby as she said that. "I think that they'll appreciate that; but wasn't Natalie the one who shared them with you?" Gabby agreed.

"She forgot to bookmark them. But I suggested that she puts it on the clinic website, then they're there for everybody to use them; when they need to use them, anywhere in the world." Stella agreed with Gabby's recommendation, as it was a good idea. "I think that will most definitely be a good idea." Gabby smiled as she heard Stella say that, before starting to catch up a bit with her.
