Chapter 255: Lori and Lincoln and Jordan...
(June 04. The loud House, Franklin Avenue. Royal Woods Michigan.)
We see in the Living Room, Lincoln and Luna are both watching some TV, and then Luna looks to her brother and she asks. "Hey little brother, are you and your friends and girlfriend ready for tomorrow?"
Lincoln nods. "Dang right I am." he seems quite excited. "We're gonna be graduating tomorrow, myself along with Jordan and the rest of our friends. Heck, even the speech which I have come prepared." Just then, they hear a ring on the doorbell and they go and see who it is.
It's Jordan. "What the heck? Jordan, what are you doing here?"
Jordan then replies. "Hey guys, and also Lori told me to come here, well she text messaged me. I thought I blocked her last time, I guess I forgot."
Just then, someone comes down the stairs and that someone is the eldest amongst the siblings, Lori Loud. "Yes, you finally made it, and Linc is already here. Now we can go and..."
But then she is confronted by Luna, and she looks stern. "What the heck are you doing, Lori?"
Lori then replies calmly. "Luna, calm down. I just wanna spend some time with Lincoln and Jordan, and I also have some things I need to fess up to them, if that is alright with them both."
This is confusing for Lincoln and Jordan, but they both agree. Luna sees this, and she sighs and lets them be. But then she grabs Lori by the arm. "Keep an eye on them, and don't let anything else bad happen, are we clear Lori?"
Lori nods, and she is still kinda afraid of Luna, especially when she is angry. Lori then leads Lincoln and Jordan to Vanzilla, and they drive off. But Luna is still confused. 'Now why the heck would Lori wanna spend some time with Lincoln and...' and then she realizes. 'Right, I think I know why. Well, good luck Lori Marie Loud.'
(The Royal Woods Mall.)
They have arrived at the mall, and they go inside and then Lori asks. "Alright, so where do you guys wanna go first?"
Lincoln and Jordan are still confused, and so they both answer. "Reiningers." Lincoln then explains. "We could use some new summer style clothing, and we know the big summer blow out sale is over, and we won't have to deal with other folks or crowds."
Lori nods, and they head over there. 'So far, so good. Perhaps I should pick something for myself too.'
(Later.)
They all come out and they got what they needed, and even some clothing for their next date. Lori then asks. "So, where to next guys?"
Jordan then explains. "We could just go around the mall and see what is affordable." And so they walk together, and do some window shopping, and yet both Lincoln and Jordan are both puzzled by Lori, and are wondering why she would wanna spend some time with them, and they also wanna know what the heck she wants to talk about, because she hasn't even talked to them when they were shopping.
Both Lincoln and Jordan are thinking the same thing. 'We need to confront her about this whole thing that we're doing with her.'
(Later, again.)
They are now at Ketcham Park. Before that, they went to watch a movie which was Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, and now Lori sees why they are fans of the Marvel Movie franchise. Afterwards, they went to get some lunch at the Food Court, since Dim Yum was packed with folks. Lori also paid for everything, their shopping the movie and the lunch.
They walk down the path, and then Lori asks. "So, did you two have fun today?"
Lincoln nods. "Yeah, yeah. We had fun today Lori, which is something we do even when it's just the two of us."
Jordan then speaks. "But we wanna know from you, what the heck are you doing? Why are you doing all of this? What the heck is going on here?"
Lori didn't think they would catch up to what was actually her plan, and it seems like she should explain to them now. She then takes a seat on one of the benches, and they sit on either side of her. "Guys, the reason why I am doing this, is because I still wanna make up for all that I have done, and even though things seem a little bit fine between me and Jordan, that time when she overheard about the Princess Pony Book thing... that had me riled up, and I needed to do something, to make things right again."
Lincoln and Jordan didn't see this coming, and then Lincoln speaks. "Oh, so that' why you're doing all of this."
Lori nods, and then she continues. "Yeah, that. But also, because summer is here, and we're gonna be graduating and I won't be around more often and busy with college and that's gonna be quite the hassle for me. I won't be able to spend time with you or the others, little bro. I wanna spend some time with you guys, and make things right and see if everything here is going to be okay."
That is an explanation which they both can see is understandable and they kinda feel bad for her.
Lori then continues. "I wanna apologize for that whole mocking you for being the owner of the Pony Book, when clearly it was never yours and now I feel like a total idiot and moron for making fun of you, and I already spoke with Lori and I wanted to make things right with her, but she was forgiving and knows that we have already been through a lot, and she is aware of Jordan being ticked off with me again."
"I will do whatever it takes, to earn back trust and forgiveness and make things right between you and me, Jordan." Lori looks to the girlfriend of her brother. "I wanna make sure, that there really isn't anything bad between us. I know that I have screwed up in being a big sister, something I should've done and been doing but never did, and among other wrong things which I have done to Lincoln, things which he didn't deserve to be treated in harsh and rude manners."
They can see, that she is really trying her best, and both preteens speak. "We forgive you Lori."
Jordan then speaks. "But, you still need to earn back my trust after everything you have done. I know that spending time with your siblings, might just be it and also continuing to being the big sister, which you have missed out a lot of times."
Lori has tears of joy, and she hugs them both. "I promise, I will make things right. I promise."
Lincoln and Jordan smile, and they return the hug, and are glad that everything is alright now. But tomorrow, is going to be a big day for them at the Royal Woods Elementary School.
A/N: There we go, Lori still has a lot to earn back after what went down last time and it'll be a whole summer for her, and come tomorrow is going to be something special to celebrate. I hope that you all enjoyed reading this guys.
