So, we are prepared for the tour and what might come, but we all know that, but something else is inbound tomorrow and they need to be prepared, and the one most likely to be thrilled, is obviously the little grease monkey of the family. Chapter 260: Another calming day...
(June 09. The loud House, Franklin Avenue. Royal Woods Michigan.)
At the backyard, we see Lincoln Loud and his big sister, Luna Loud are laying on the grass and watching the clouds fly by, and they are confused at seeing a cloud in the shape of... A Formula-1 Racecar? Whoa!
They both just enjoy this summer breeze, and then Lincoln sighs. "Though this summer is turning out peaceful, the trouble is yet to come and in the form of the tour, right?"
Luna nods, and she feels the same way. "Yeah, I know. Also, Sam was gonna hang out with me, but her plans changed and she's gonna spend some time with her brother, and mother, so I guess it's just gonna be us today spending time. What about Jordan?"
Lincoln explains. "She's spending some time with her two dogs, so things are turning alright with her for today, and I think it is best I spend some time here with you sis. I can always spend time with my friends some other day."
Just then, Lynn comes out and she asks. "Hey, have you two seen my soccer ball? I'm gonna go and hang out with Annabelle and the girls at Tall Timbers Park today."
"This one?" Luna throws it to her, and she catches it. "Saw it today behind the tree."
"Thanks, later guys." Lynn then takes her leave, letting Lincoln and Luna back to their calm and peaceful backyard time.
Luna then sits up. "You feeling hungry little brother?"
Lincoln sits up. "Yeah, I could use a sandwich." They both get up and head back inside, where they see Lori and Leni arrive, and they grab some water and the keys to Vanzilla and Lincoln asks. "Where are you two headed off to?"
Lori sighs and then she explains. "I wanna make things right with Leni, and so we are gonna hang out and spend some sister best friend time, and at the same time I wanna help her with her driving, so this is technically a training moment as well. Something I wanna make up for, after what happened last time."
"I am totes fine with this, and I wanna try and make this work" replied Leni. "Since, Lori won't be here when the summer is over, and we're gonna need another person to drive the others around."
They watch as Lori and Leni take their leave, and this does surprise Lincoln and Luna, and they proceed to make some sandwiches, but then Lincoln asks Luna. "Are you planning to get a driver's license one day, sis? I mean, you are 16."
Luna thinks about this. "Now that does sound like a pretty cool idea, but I don't think I am ready yet. I'll know soon, and when the time comes then I'll try and get a driver's license." Then something comes to her mind. "Speaking of driving, do you remember what day it is tomorrow?"
Lincoln then remembers. "Oh yeah, tomorrow we're gonna go and see Bobbie Fletcher race, since she gave Lana the tickets to see her race live, and chances she'll be excited out of her little car mechanic mind too. That Go-Kart race, may have been the best thing ever, but I know that seeing her idol race is gonna be memorable for Lans."
Just then, Michelle Lewis comes into the dining room, and she is speaking to someone on her phone, and then she hangs up and she smiles. This gets Lincoln and Luna's attention and then Luna asks. "Hey mom, what the heck was that all about?"
Michelle smiles and so she tells them. "Had a conversation with the FutureTech guys, and they are going to be ready for when the tour starts soon and the plan we have in store, but chances they might not be able to send the whole team, but perhaps some of them. Either way, this is gonna work out and we'll be rid of Crest by the last day of our time on their dumb tour."
"I also informed them, that even though he will be a flirting annoyance for me, Mick Swagger is not trouble. The guy is just a small unexpected, oblivious and weird old British guy who doesn't know what he has gotten himself into, but if he does something stupid that could be kinda harmful to us on tour, then he's in serious trouble with us."
This makes Lincoln and Luna smile, they like the sound of that. They know that Mick Swagger was not part of what Crest had planned, since she doesn't seem to care about him and chances he's just someone who doesn't have to be caught into this cluster.
But for now, they should be ready for tomorrow.
