Chapter 262: Hang out during the summer...

(June 11. Gus' Games n' Grub. Royal Woods Michigan.)

Lincoln Loud and Jordan Rosato both arrive on their bikes, they chain their bikes to the rack and then head inside, and they meet with their friends. "Hey guys, we made it" replied Lincoln. "Gus' seems almost packed in here."

"Yeah, seems busy for Gus and his staff" replied Clyde. "Either way, we're all gonna have some arcade fun, before we all gotta go our own ways for the summer, and Chloe and I are stoked for Cooking/Baking Camp." All of them talk about what they wanna do for the summer, and are all excited about it.

But then they see Polly Pain seems less than happy. "Hey, is something wrong Polly?" asked Jordan.

They then look around and Stella asks. "Wait, where the heck is Rusty?"

Polly sighs and then she tells them. "Gone, he left the other day and told me this morning. His phone's battery died and didn't have time. Sorry, but he's not here to hang out with us. I wish he notified me sooner than this, this is crazy."

"Huh, didn't see that coming" replied Zach. "Looks like they changed their summer vacation plans to leave early, must've been something important."

Artie then asks. "Did Rusty say on how long he'll be gone?"

Polly crosses her arms. "We'll see him again, on August." They all remain silent, they did not see that one coming. "Guys, I think I wanna be alone. See you guys later." She then heads out and rides on her roller skates.

The others are concerned for her, but it seems right to let her be or it might be trouble. Then Leslie asks. "So, are we gonna have some arcade fun or what?" They all nod and head off to play some video games.

Of course, Lincoln and Jordan go for Dance, Dance Revolution. Leslie and Delilah both team up on House of the Dead 3. Zach and Liam test their skills with bank shots and hoops, Mollie and Sadie clash at skee ball. Clyde and Chloe race each other with flight simulator, and... Well, everyone just has fun here.

(Timeskip, after the many video games to play.)

The group have finished their arcade fun, and are now eating some pizza. Lincoln and Jordan did win so many tickets, and they got each other a prize. Lincoln got Jordan a plush Blastoise, and Jordan got Lincoln a plush Gyarados.

As they all enjoy the cheese stuffed pizza. Tabby asks. "So, are you ready for the whole tour? I mean, you lot have plans to deal with that annoying and horrible woman, right?"

Lincoln nods. "We're ready for it, and for what Crest has in store. She can't win this one."

Jordan nods. "Now, I should be concerned because of what might happen to my boyfriend, but I know that Luna has something planned and with the FutureTech guys involved, though some of us aren't quite aware, we know it'll work and Crest will be done for."

"But, what of Mick Swagger?" asked Christina.

"I don't think the guy is a threat" replied Lance.

Lincoln nods. "He is right, Mick Swagger is just some old rockstar who wants to be a big time again, and he doesn't know what he is going through or what is happening. But should he do something dumb, then all bets are off and he's gonna get it, well we might end up kicking him out. Either way, whatever happens we will make sure Crest gets what she deserves and she won't win."

(Back at the Loud House.)

Luna is going through her notebook with the songs she has planned with her band, she smiles and then closes it. She then looks to the photo of herself and her little brother. 'This is gonna be big, performing with Linc on a tour is stepping up more than being on America's Next Hitmaker.'

'I don't know what the hell Crest is planning, because it is obvious she will try something, but she will not get the best of us and I will do whatever it takes to protect Lincoln, even if it is the last thing I do.'

A/N: Hanging out with friends, and dang, Rusty is gonna be a long while before he comes back, and we're close to the tour. I hope that you all enjoyed reading this newly posted chapter everyone.
