Chapter 268: Partying, sneaking and trouble...
(June 17. Theater of Living Arts, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.)
We now see the whole concert is over, and the band from Royal Woods have finished cleaning up their gear, and having it loaded into their tour bus. "We did good, and Mick and his band handled it good too" replied Sam.
"Yeah, that fan was deranged and almost got to him, glad he kept his cool and security dealt with the issue" replied Luna. Just then, they see Katie Crest and Mick Swagger going over to them, and before Katie Crest can speak, Mick Swagger does.
"That was an amazing performance to start the show, and I swear fans coming on stage to get me is like a horror movie meant to be. Still, we did good and you lot performing, and with Linc also part of the whole gig was awesome and smashin'."
Katie Crest nods. "Indeed, but it would be better if Luna Loud performed alongside..."
"No" replied Luna sternly. "I am not doing rock n' roll, and that is the end of the story, PERIOD!"
They both have a stare off with a mean and stern glare, but Mick Swagger intervenes. "Alright, alright. Let's all calm down now, Crest please enough with this nonsense. Let them be..." He then speaks to Luna. "Also, after what you lot have been through, I think we need some stress relief, and a party would do us good and don't worry, there is not going to be any alcohol for you lot. How about it gang?"
They all think about this and so they huddle together and speak, and Katie Crest doesn't like this, then they allow Luna to speak for them. "We're do it, but we're keeping a close eye on things." They then follow Mick Swagger, and so does Katie Crest and now this gives her an idea.
But as they follow Mick and Crest, Luna whispers to Michelle. "Mom, we will be attending the party and we'll come up with an excuse as to why you couldn't come. We know you can handle yourself, and this seems like the right time to sneak into Crest's bus, and find out more about her plans and whatever illegal and criminal things she has done."
Michelle smiles, she likes this idea and so they head to their tour buses, and head off to where the party will be.
(Somewhere in the City.)
They all arrive to this fancy bar area, and it seemed legit and alright and a family friendly one too. They all go inside, and there they see the whole place has been setup and so they go over to enjoy themselves. Michelle then speaks. "Guys, I think I'll hang back at the bus. I gotta double check on things and ask how things are happening back in town."
The others agree, and so they head into the bar, Crest thinks this is the right time for her ally to make a move and deal with her.
They all enjoy this place, and Luna asks. "Hey, Mick what about your band mates?"
Mick points to the table. "All having a good time, and they're an alright lot. Also, my drummer is going to have some issues, with his right foot." Luna and the band see his right foot has some bandaging and that makes them cringe seeing that. "Yup, he hurt himself when he dropped his drums, thankfully he can use the other foot. He even refused to step down, because he says the show has to go on. Heh, classic. He did that back then in England."
They are glad to know, Mick Swagger's band mates are trustworthy and they are having an arm wrestling, and Chunk joins in.
As they continue to enjoy themselves. Katie Crest hands her a glass. "Here, have something to drink."
Luna knows, something is wrong. "Yeah, no thanks. Water is fine with me." she then walks away from her, and this angers Katie Crest. Seems like her plan is not working and Luna is with her band and brother.
But, Katie Crest calms down. 'This is just a setback again. Luna Loud will be mine, and be my personal money maker to the top.' But then something comes to her mind and she checks her phone, but there are no new messages. 'What the hell is taking those idiots so long? They haven't bothered to call me back since yesterday. They had better not be slacking off and got rid of those stupid louds!'
(Meanwhile.)
Michelle leaves the tour bus, and she sneaks around and goes into the tour bus of Katie Crest. She looks around and sees that the place is organized, and not so messy. 'Yup, the same kind of stuff Crest does. Now, to find out what her plans are.'
Michelle continues to look around, but each file and paper she goes through, she doesn't find anything. All there is are schedules, costs and other papers involving the tour and the income to the payment. 'Jeez, where the heck does she keep her secrets and true plans?' Then she sees it. 'And there it is.'
Michelle sees a book, from under the bed of Katie Crest and so she grabs it. 'Got it.' she then looks around and sees nobody is around, and so she leaves the tour bus, but then she hears someone coming. She then hides behind some bushes, and she sees someone leave the bar, and it is one of the roadies of Crest and he goes through his phone.
But then he removes his hat and wig, and Michelle sees it is her former partner, and current enemy, Doug Rockwell. 'Oh, my god!' Doug doesn't notice her, and she realizes, that this is not good and that Crest has an ally to get rid of them and claim Luna. 'I need to inform the others!'
Michelle manages to sneak away, while Doug prepares to see if she is around, but he has no clue he has been known.
(Back at the Party.)
Luna and the others, don't seem to be enjoying this party since the roadies are just doing what they want, and so the band from Royal Woods and Mick's band are avoiding all of this. But Luna is not liking this, due to the fact Crest keeps approaching her.
Once again, Katie Crest goes to them. "Hey, are you all having fun?"
Sully sighs. "We can't sing on the karaoke because two roadies are taking it, hogging it like pigs in a greed farm."
Sam looks ticked off. "This creepy guy, one of your roadies is trying to flirt with me, and offering me a beer which he snuck in."
Lincoln then comes back from the restroom, and Crest approaches him while everyone else is occupied. "Hey, Lincoln can we talk? I need you to try and see to reason, that staying longer on the tour would be good for your sister and..."
"Crest, she said no. So leave her alone" replied Lincoln, and he goes back to the others.
Crest didn't like this, and before she can grab Lincoln, Michelle intervenes. "Leave my kids alone, or I swear we are walking out of here." Crest scoffs, and she backs away, and then Michelle goes to the others and she speaks with them in secret. "Guys, it's getting late and I think we need some sleep."
But then she whispers. "I found what we need." This gets their attention and they take their leave and they say goodnight to Mick and his friends, and they feel like they should get some sleep too since this party is getting a little too out of hand.
Katie Crest scoffs. 'There they go, and there goes my ticket to getting to the top, and it looks like Doug didn't do his job right! Jeez, I need to step up with my plans, fast!' Katie Crest does see Doug come back, in his disguise and he waves to Katie Crest, and he knows he is in trouble for not going after Michelle Lewis earlier.
(Back on the tour bus.)
On the bus, they hear what Michelle said about Doug Rockwell being here, and they are livid.
"Oh, what the heck?! Are you serious right now?!
"That guy is back?! That psycho lunatic male version of Crest is here on the tour?!"
"Crest bailed him out?! Oh, this is not good!"
"We gotta do something, let me toss that bloke a new one in the shiner!"
Luna remains silent and so does Lincoln. Both of them not pleased, and deeply enraged knowing that Doug Rockwell has returned, and they have never forgotten what he tried to do, when he teamed up with Chandler McCann.
Michelle then has the book. "Guys, this book has all the plans which Katie Crest has made." She then reads what it says. "First phase, is to get Luna and her band onboard. Second, send some goons to go after and kill the remaining Loud family. Third, find a way to remove the band and Lincoln Loud, and Michele Lewis, with the use of Doug Rockwell. Final phase, have Luna make fame and fortune, and put me back on top, and double cross and remove Doug from the whole thing."
"... And, if Luna Loud refuses to do as I say, then I shall handle her as I did with my previous client band." Michelle sighs. "Everything she did, is all in here and even the death of the former band. We have all the dark and vile schemes, crimes and plans from Katie Crest. Enough to send her away, forever. Also, to remove Mick Swagger and his band before they get suspicious and become problems, she really hates him."
They remain silent. "Wow. That is dark" replied Mazzy.
Luna didn't like this. She then speaks. "We need to talk to..."
"No need" replied Michelle. "Got a call earlier from Amanda, they contacted me that the other day, four men attacked them but Jordan came and saved them all. The cops and FutureTech interrogated them, and the proof has been revealed. Katie Crest, attempted to kill the others, and by hiring dangerous criminals. Which means, Katie Crest is officially a wanted criminal on the run, and I don't think she knows what happened to the men she hired."
Hearing this, means that they have everything they need, and it was time to put a stop to Katie Crest. Lincoln then looks to Luna. "Sis?"
Luna sighs. "Guys, tomorrow... We confront and deal with Katie Crest. It is time to put an end to her, once and for all."
A/N: They got what they need, and that means the next chapter will be time to face down and confront the woman who is trying to remove them and claim Luna. It's gonna go down hard tomorrow! I hope you all enjoyed reading this newly posted chapter guys.
