Hi Readers: Sorry for the delay in getting this chapter out to you guys, but I had to go run some errands. And I may have decided to get something new for myself, a new iPad as my old one just died. Chapter One Hundred and Thirty-Six
A Night of Rest and Relaxation Only

They just finished having a nice meal with their friends, which definitely was a nice treat that the couldn't hadn't expected to have tonight; and that's what made it perfect, the spontaneity of it, and just how relaxed they were. But now, it's time for Matt and Gabby's night of rest and relaxation; and that was all they were going to get tonight. No sex, no nothing. If Matt wanted sex, then he could ask Gabby for sex tomorrow; tonight, Gabby just wants to relax with her loving husband. And the truth was, Matt was more than okay with that; especially with all that's been going on lately, and how it's been affecting his beautiful wife. After all, Gabby has been pretty good at hiding how tired she's been of late; and tonight, was actually the first night that Matt really noticed it, and he was planning on telling Gabby that. If she's tired, then she really shouldn't be trying to stay out longer than she needs to; especially not when she's pregnant with their daughter, which is the exact reason that tonight will be a night of rest and relaxation. Just what they both needed.

Well, hopefully. Matt just hopes that Gabby can agree to that plan, and that she can still agree to keep wearing what she's in the midst of wearing for him right now as she gets a bit of a late-night snack. A snack that she must need to try and get some more energy into herself, just so that they can have fun with each other; and maybe even make love to each other, because that's what Gabby wanted to do tonight. As much as Gabby said that she didn't want to go for it, Matt really knew that was the biggest load of you know what he's ever heard. If Gabby really had it her way, they would be in bed with each other; making love for the rest of the night, and all through the night. He knows that's what Gabby wants, because she always tells him how much she misses him; how much she wants to put the boys to bed, so that he can take her in his arms and give her attention. But unfortunately, he doesn't want to make her even more tired than she already is; because that would make him a bad dad, and a bad husband…as much as he wants to do it, he can't.

He can't do that to his little girl, and to his beautiful wife; he just needs to do what's best for the both of them, and make sure that they just take it easy tonight. Walking up the stairs to their bedroom, Matt smiled when he saw Gabby standing at the end of their bed in her lingerie; and let's just say that it was absolutely perfect, because she looked so damn sexy. "God, I am not worthy of you." Looking at her loving husband, Gabby laughed a bit as she heard Matt say that; at the same time, Matt made his way over to her so that he could kiss her (which is what she wants). She wants to feel Matt kiss her, and just hold her close to him; after all, it was what they both wanted. They wanted to hold each other, and they wanted to please each other; and the only way that they can do that, is to have Matt touch her the way that he can. "I know you aren't." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before walking up to her at the end of their bed. After which, he smiled as he got close to her and put his hands on her stomach, which keeps growing every day.

Looking into Gabby's eyes as she stood close to her, Matt smirked due to the fact that this is everything that he wants to do right now; he wants to take things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world, while sharing some sweet kisses with her. "God, you are so damn sexy…and I just feel so lucky to have you as my wife." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, before moving her hands to Matt's face. After which, she wrapped her arms around his neck and got close to him; at the same time, Matt moved his hands to her back while rubbing it. After which, he bent down and kissed her shoulder softly. "Okay, so I am going to say this; and you are going to just say yes, because I already know this." Gabby took a breath as she heard Matt say that, before leaning back and looking at him. "Let me guess, you don't want to take things too far today?" Sighing as he looked at Gabby, Matt put his hands next to her on the footboard; after which, she put her hands on his chest while smiling at the man she loves.

Wrapping her arms around his neck shortly afterwards, Gabby smiled as she looked at the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. "Okay, so you just want to rest and relax in bed with each other today?" Matt took a breath as he heard Gabby say that. "Are you okay with that?" Gabby nodded as Matt asked her whether she was okay with them not having sex, because she most definitely was. Putting her hands on Matt's face, Gabby smiled as she leaned in and kissed him softly. Taking things nice and slow with the man she loves, Gabby smirked as she was really happy to have him in her arms; at the same time, Matt put his hands on her stomach and just held her close. "Listen, what do you say we get in bed together? You need to rest, and you just need to relax; both for your sake, and for the sake of our baby girl." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that before kissing him again, after which she went to get in bed for her husband; and let's just say that he loved watching her do that. "Oh god, now that was hot." Gabby smirked.

"I'm in lingerie, I want you in boxers; deal?" Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that, well aware that was the case. "Oh, I already know that you want me in my boxers; plus, it's just fair as you're in that sexy lingerie for me." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, because that most definitely was something that she wants to do. "It's actually why I didn't want to go on a walk, I just want to start our weekend alone." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before walking over to his dresser; after which, he started to get undressed for his beautiful wife. And that started with the simplest piece of "clothing" that he was wearing right now, his sandals. Slipping them off, he put them at the foot of his dresser; after which, he proceeded to start taking off his shirt so that he could show off a bit for Gabby. And just how did he show off? Well, that would be flexing for his gorgeous wife. What's better than that. "Oh, I'm already loving the show." Turning to look at Gabby, Matt smirked as he heard her say that right now.

After which, he proceeded to grab his shorts so that he could take them off. Bending down, Matt smirked due to the fact that he knew that this is exactly what they both wanted; they both want him to be undressed, and they both want him to get in bed with her. "God, you are such a tease." Matt just looked at his girl as she said that, shocked that she even has the audacity to say that. "Did you really just say? I mean, look at what you're wearing!" Gabby smirked as she heard Matt say that. "Not hearing you complain over what I'm wearing." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, as she will never head him complain over him just wearing some lingerie. "Oh, I am never going to complain that you're wearing lingerie for me; because you are so damn sexy, and I love the sight of you wearing this more than anything in the entire world." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, smiling due to the fact that this is really nice; as is the fact that they're currently alone with each other, which is exactly what they need this weekend. "Can we talk for a bit?"

Looking at his wife as she said that, Matt was confused and got a bit concerned when he heard her say that; after all, what do they need to talk about. "Is everything okay?" Gabby smiled as Matt asked her whether everything was okay because it was. "Oh, it is. I just want to talk and figure out what we want to do; and I just have stuff on my mind." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before grabbing his phone. "Listen, how pressing is the matter? Can I go brush my teeth, or do you need to talk to me now?" Gabby laughed as Matt asked her whether she needed to talk to him now, or if he could brush his teeth. "Go ahead Matt, because then you're ready to go to bed." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, because that was what he was thinking about; but first, he wanted to walk over to her for a minute. So, he went ahead and did just that. Making his way over to her side of the bed, Matt smiled at his beautiful wife as she laid down in bed; and god did she look so sexy as she just laid down there. She is so damn beautiful.

Moving to sit down next to his beautiful wife, Matt smiled as he went to grab her hand; at the same time, Gabby sat up a bit and intertwined their fingers. Stroking his hand at the same time, Gabby smiled as she looked at Matt. "Baby, I just want to make sure that you're okay; and that you aren't too stressed, because that's the last thing that I want." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Hey, I know that baby. I promise that you don't need to worry about that, and you can just relax." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, glad that was the case. "Okay, good. Uhm, I am going to just get ready for bed. Any requests for my nighttime squirt of cologne?" Gabby smirked as she heard Matt say that, before motioning for him to lean over her more; doing just that for her, Matt smiled as he put his hand on the side of her face. He then kissed her softly and just smirked, loving how sexy his gorgeous wife is. "Give me some Armani." Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that. "Anything for my girls."

Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before feeling him kiss her again. Taking things nice and slow with Gabby, Matt smirked due to the fact that this really is everything that he wants to do with the woman he loves right now; he wants to share a nice kiss with the woman he loves, and he wants to take it slow with her. And that's exactly what they're in the midst of doing right now. They're talking things nice and slow with each other, as they just have fun together; at least, they were. But the fun soon stopped as soon as Matt got up so that he could get ready for bed. "HEY!" Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that, before tugging up his boxers; after which, he looked down at the woman he loves. "I'll be right back. I just need to go brush my teeth first." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Okay, you're forgiven. But I want another kiss with you." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, smiling at his girl. "I promise." Turning around, Matt smirked as he walked away to finish getting ready for bed tonight.

He just finished in the bathroom and was now on his way back to bed; the bed where here and Gabby plan on spending some quality time with each other, just relaxing, and holding each other close as they cuddle up to each other in bed. And let's just say that's exactly what Matt wants to do. He wants to get in bed with the woman he loves and hold her in his arms as they cuddle up to each other in bed. But first, he needs to get somebody out of his spot; more specifically, he has to get Andy to lay down at the end of their bed (rather than on his side of the bed). "Hey, Andy." Turning his head as he heard his name, Andy just looked at Matt; after which, he proceeded to point to the end of the bed. After all, that was where he was supposed to lay down at night, at the end of their bed, not at the top of their bed. "Let me guess, someone was a bit jealous that another man was up by me?" Matt laughed as he heard gabby say that, before shaking his head; after all, he most definitely is not jealous when it comes to Andy being close to Gabby.

"You're dreaming if you think that I'm jealous over a dog getting close to you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, smiling as she was really happy tonight. "So, we're going to talk to each other now; right?" Nodding, Gabby agreed with her loving husband as he asked her that; because that was something that she wanted to do, she wanted to talk to Matt as they held each other close. "Yes, I think that's exactly what we're going to do." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby tell him that, ready to just hold the woman he loves in his arms so that they can fall asleep in each other's arms; after all, that was what they always want to do (especially when Gabby is just wearing the type of lingerie that she was currently wearing for him). "Of course, there is a condition for us talking though." Looking at the man she loves, Gabby was confused, which was something that Matt could tell, based on the fact that she was currently making as they looked at each other. "What conditions would that be?" Matt smirked. "You need to be in my arms for us to talk, because I want to hold my girls close to me as we talk in bed tonight." Gabby laughed, agreeing with the love of her life tonight. "Of course."

Walking up to his side of the bed, Matt smiled as he proceeded to set his phone down on his side table; that way, he can make sure that it was out of his way. He doesn't want to concentrate on his phone today, not when he wants to concentrate on his beautiful wife. "Thanks for putting your phone away." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that. "Oh, that was going to happen the minute that I came out here; and that's because I want to take advantage of this time that we have with each other." Gabby agreed with Matt as he sat that, before deciding to get up; crawling over to his side of the bed shortly afterwards, Gabby smiled as she was now right in front of the man she loves (while also standing up on her knees). "Oh, now this is something nice." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "I thought that you'd feel that way." Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that, before leaning in and kissing the woman he loves softly; and let's just say that was exactly what Gabby wanted. "God, I love it when you kiss me like that." Matt agreed with Gabby, smiling. "Of course, you do, because I know what you love more than anything." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, smiling at him.

"Okay, I think we both know that it's time for you to do something for me." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware of what he needs to do; he needs to get in bed with her, and he needs to make sure that they are comfortable with each other. They want to hold each other close, and they just want to relax with each other. "I have to say, I am really interested in running my hands all over this gorgeous body." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before pulling away so that she can lay down in bed; after all, that was exactly what they need to do right now. They need to climb into bed with each other, and they just need to relax together; and that was definitely something that Matt was interested in doing, just as soon as he was in bed with his beautiful wife. Opening the covers so that he could climb into bed with her, Matt smirked as he laid down in bed. Closing the covers on top of the both of them afterwards, Matt smirked as he went ahead and got close to the woman he loves; that way, they can hold each other close as they make small talk. And (maybe) share a quick kiss here and there. Oh, who are we kidding? They're definitely going to do just that.

Wrapping his arm around Gabby, Matt smiled as he held her against his chest; that way, he could make sure that she was comfortable. And now just her of course, but their little girl too. Putting her hand on Matt's chest as soon as she was laying down close to him, Matt smiled as she slipped her legs in between his and just concentrated on him. Smirking as Gabby did that, Matt decided to grab the covers and then proceeded to tug the covers up on top of the both of them; that way, she was doing exactly what she wanted to do tonight. She wanted to hold the man she loves close to her, as they just take it easy with each other, which is something that they're also doing to for the entire weekend. "So, you okay that we didn't go for a walk?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he asked her whether she was okay that they didn't go on a walk, which she most definitely was okay with. She just wants to cuddle up to the man of her dreams, and she wants to have him hold her close to his chest. "Of course, I am, especially since this is exactly what I want." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, smiling as they looked into each other's eyes. Leaning in, Matt smirked as he kissed his wife.

"I feel the same way, especially since it's what we've needed for a while; and that's because of all the stress that we've been dealing with. And that's actually something that I want to apologize for." Gabby looked at Matt as he said that. "Hey, what do you need to apologize to me for baby?" Matt took a breath. "I guess, for everything that's happened. It's just been a lot to handle and add in the PTSD diagnosis; and I know you've been trying to hold back on trying to tell me some things, things that might make me worry more than I have to." Gabby took a breath as she heard Matt say that, as that was the truth. "Yeah, I just hope you aren't mat at me about that." Matt shook his head as he heard Gabby ask him whether he was mad, because he wasn't mad at her; rather, he understood. And he also know that this was a lot for her to deal with too. Taking a breath, Gabby put her hand on Matt's face before leaning in and kissing him softly. "Can you lay down on your back? I want to cuddle up to you." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that. "Of course, I can baby, is everything okay?" Gabby took a breath. "I guess…" Matt then took a breath. "Let me lay down, then come join me."

Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her to wait until she's on his chest, because that's something that she most definitely can (and will) do. She just has so much on her mind right now, and she knows that this is something that they've both needed for a while.

Cuddling up to Matt shortly after she laid down on his chest (as much as she could), Gabby took a breath as she felt him run his hand up and down her back; at the same time, he adjusted the pillow that he had behind his back. After all, that was what he needs to use when he's sitting up in bed. Yes, sitting up in bed. Recently, Matt's been needing to do a semi-sitting up position whenever she lays down on his chest so that he's comfortable; even though Gabby has offered to stop laying down on his chest for the rest of her pregnancy, which is something that he most definitely doesn't want. He wants to have the woman he loves on his chest as much as possible, and that was exactly what he was in the midst of doing, while they also watched a movie with each other. Wrapping his arm around Gabby's back, Matt smiled as he put it on a movie channel that they enjoyed watching the first time that they were in Hawaii. And let's just say that Gabby was happy that he just put it on that channel, because it was playing on of her favorite movies. "Thanks baby." Matt shook his head as he heard gabby say that. "No thanks necessary. You need to relax, and just take it easy baby."

Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that because that was the truth. "And that was why I decided that I didn't want to have sex tonight." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, understanding why that's the case. "Hey, I get that Gabby; and I don't want you to ever feel like you need to justify not wanting to have sex with me. I understand that you're tired." Looking up at Matt as she put her hand on his chest, Gabby was a bit confused. "You do?" Matt nodded as Gabby asked him if he understood that she was pregnant. "Baby, you sleep so much more now; and you always want to work from home, so that you can work in bed. Do you really think it's a secret that you're tired more often now, because you're further along in the pregnancy." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before going to grab the covers; after which, she tugged them up on top of the both of them. Helping Gabby with that, Matt smiled as he set them up; after which, he put his hand on her stomach and wrapped his other arm around her back. And let's just say that made Gabby very comfortable, so comfortable that she ended up laying down on his chest, which was something Matt very music enjoyed.

Turning his head this evening, Matt smiled as he proceeded to kiss Gabby's forehead as they both held each other close. "How are you doing when it comes to the pregnancy? Are you doing okay? Drinking enough water and stuff?" Gabby laughed as Matt asked her that, because he already knew all the answers to those questions. "Baby, you're the one that feeds me, and that means that you already know the answers to all of those questions." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, because he did know that was the truth; but still, that didn't mean that he wasn't going to ask the questions. "Yes, I do. But that doesn't mean that I'm not going to ask the questions regardless, because I want to hear you tell me those answers; that way, I can know whether I need to adjust how I'm feeding you, and whether I need to give you more." Looking up at Matt as he told her that, Gabby smiled as she knew that the man she loves truly is the best husband in the entire world. "God, how did I get so lucky when it came to who I have as a husband?" Matt smiled.

He then bent down, before proceeding to kiss the woman he loves softly. Taking things nice and slow with her, Matt smirked due to the fact that this really is something that makes him happy. In fact, it will always be something that makes him happy; because Gabby is the love of his life, and she always makes him extremely happy. "I'm the lucky one, especially since I almost never got you. I got a second chance at love, one that gave me the life that I've always wanted." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. She then looked up at the man she loves, and just smirked due to the fact that Matt really is the man of her dreams; wrapping his arms around her shortly afterwards, Matt smirked as he proceeded to press his lips to her forehead once again. "I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case as she cuddled up to him and just relaxed with him today. After all, what's better then the two of them just holding each other close? Moving to grab his phone, Matt just smiled.

"Hey, I thought we said no phones." Matt then smiled as he proceeded to show Gabby that he was opening Spotify, that way he can play music. "I was just going to play music." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, okay with that. "Okay, you can do that." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before running his hand up and down her back. "Don't worry baby, I'm not interested in working right now. I just want to cuddle up to you, as we enjoy time together." Gabby took a breath as she heard Matt say that. "Yeah, before we don't get a chance to do this anymore when we have Bella." Looking down at Gabby as she said that, Matt was a bit taken aback. "Hey, you don't really think that way; do you?" Gabby took a breath as Matt asked her that, before grabbing his hand; after which, she played with his fingers. "I mean, we're going to…" Interrupting Gabby, Matt proceeded to make a forceful statement. "Gabby, I will ALWAYS make time for you; and I am not going to go back on my word, because I made that mistake in the past."
