Chapter 279: Another frightful aftermath...

(June 28. The Loud House, Franklin Avenue. Royal Woods, Michigan.)

Luna Loud awakens, and she sees that she is not alone on her top part of the bunk, beside her is her little brother and roommate, Lincoln Loud and then she recalls what had happened. After what went down days ago, he couldn't sleep and was stressed out and scared.

He had a nightmare last night, and she knows that it has something to do with what had gone down when Lincoln and Lisa were captured by Dr. Caroline Linnaeus, and almost sent off to his death in space. Luna knows, her brother needs a lot of comfort from that near death experience.

But she is glad, that they saved them before anything else would happy. Then she sees her brother wake up, and Lincoln sits up and he looks around, confused. He then stops and then he looks to Luna, and without hesitation he hugs her.

Luna knows, he is still kinda shaken, and she embraces her little brother to try and comfort him. "There, there. Everything is alright now, and you are not getting taken away. We're all together again, and that's what matters." She will still be there to help him when he is not feeling alright.

(Later.)

Lincoln and Luna arrive in the Dining Room, and there they see they're other sisters eating breakfast. "Hey girls" replied Lincoln. "Good Morning."

Good Morning Lincoln." The twins and Lucy go over, and they hug their brother, and they don't wanna let go. Lincoln smiles and he hugs them back. They then depart from the hug, and they continue to enjoy their breakfast.

But they know that Lincoln is a mess after what had gone down. Just then, Michelle Lewis comes in from the kitchen. "Guys, update about what had happened after we saved Lincoln." they all wanna hear this, and even Luna, Lincoln and Lisa.

"Alright, so after they took down the secret Incognito Lab from Lake Eddy, they managed to use the records and files, and found more hideouts and as we speak, FutureTech has deployed a lot of strike teams and some of them are the hero counterparts and each hideout is getting destroyed, and many arrests, though some resisted and are now casualties. But does anyone care?"

They all didn't give a damn about those horrible scientists who are cruel and don't have any sense of emotion.

"Now, as for Dr. Caroline Linnaeus... She won't be getting out anytime soon, or possibly never. She is locked up, inside of a secured facility in a special prison in an undisclosed location where no one can find her, and she has been shrunken even further to the size of a bug. She's never getting out, and she has been given the for life sentence. We won't be seeing her ever again."

They are all relieved to hear this, Luna rubs her brother's back and he feels kinda calm, but Lisa can tell that he is still not feeling like himself and deep down Lisa feels like this was all her fault.

(Hours later.)

Lincoln is watching some TV, and he sees the announcement that HBO Max is canceling that stupid Velma Series, and he sighs in relief. 'Good grief, thank god for that one. Honestly, that show is a major insult and slap to the face to the whole Scooby Doo Franchise. They should have never made it. It's as worse as that He-Man Reboot.'

Then Lisa shows up. "Lincoln, might I have a word with you?"

Lincoln turns off the TV, and he scooches over to let Lisa sit on the couch. "Sure, what's wrong Lisa?"

Lisa sighs, and then she explains. "Lincoln, I am here to apologize after what had happened to you days ago when we were both taken away by that awful science organization. I couldn't help but get the feeling that it may have been all my fault in the first place. Incognito Labs wanted me, but instead you got dragged along for the whole thing."

Lincoln is confused. "What? But Lisa, the whole thing was not your fault. Those scientists and their insane boss are evil, and you are different from them. They don't care about how people feel, but you do because you have changed and become a better person, heck a better scientist even."

"You don't need to blame yourself for what happened, we never saw this coming and we don't need to worry about them either, because those psychos are gone for good, and are never ever coming back."

Lisa smiles, and she hugs him. This makes Lincoln smile and he hugs her back, he will always be there and comfort his little sisters, just as a big brother would always do.

But they don't notice, Luna sees them from the stairs and she smiles. 'Lincoln always knows what to do when it involves the little sisters, and I am so dang proud of you.' She then heads back to her room. 'And tomorrow, we got some big plans and prepare, for someone's special birthday.'

Lincoln and Lisa depart from the hug, and they see what is on TV, and they can see the news shows Incognito Labs outpost is in Pittsburg, and is getting destroyed by a salvo of artillery fire, and a bombing run. They can also see, a giant robot T-Rex wreaking havoc.

Lincoln and Lisa are surprised. Lisa smirks. "And there goes another Incognito base."

Lincoln looks closely. "Wait, wait. Hold up, is that Grimlock from Transformers Age of Extinction?"
