Hi Readers: I hope that you guys liked the chapter that I just posted for you guys and are enjoying the couple of Halstead-oriented chapters that I have decided to write; and that's actually what I'm going to continue to do, write some Halstead chapters. And that's because I feel like I need to cover some other couples, other than Matt and Gabby at times; and that's due to the fact that they are major parts of my plotline, and I need to make sure that they are still present as we continue this story. And that's exactly what I'm doing when I write these chapters, which I hope you guys enjoy. And I hope that you guys continue to let me know what you think.

Chapter One Hundred and Forty-Eight
Comfortable, and Ready to Relax (With Your Arms Around Me)

She was still waiting for her loving husband to come out of the washroom, where he was currently filling up Max's water bowl after having just taken him out (which Alex asked him to do before getting in bed with her); and there was a reason for her to ask him to do that, as she'd rather not have him need to leave when they were comfortable in each other's arms. After all, she wants to cuddle up to him right now as they got a chance to cuddle up to each other in their hospital bed; and let's just say that it's going to be very comfortable, as soon as they are in bed with each other. But first, Jay needed to do something else; and that was fill up Max's water bowl, which was exactly what he just finished doing as he walked out of the washroom. At the same time, he looked at his gorgeous wife (who was basically ogling him as he walked out clad in some low-hanging sweatpants); which is the exact type of sweatpants that Alex loves to see Jay wear, because they turn her on more than anything in the entire world. But not as much as him wearing boxers (which he always does), she means when he's just wearing his boxers (which show off his package to the best of their abilities).

I mean, what wife doesn't like to take a glance at their husband's package when they have a chance? And god, Jay's package is gorgeous; and she can even see it through his sweatpants, which he was still wearing as he came out of the washroom. And let's just say that made her even more sexually frustrated than she already was, especially since she hasn't had sex with her husband for a month; not that she really needs any yet, especially since she needs to relax after having just given birth. And that's exactly what she and Jay are going to do as they hold each other close in bed, as soon as he takes off his pants; because that was something that she was not going to let him do, he was going to take his pants off if he wanted to join her in bed. And Jay knew that. He knew that they were going to relax in each other's arms as they just cuddle up to each other in bed, while she wears some sexy lingerie for him, and he wears nothing but his boxers for her; and that was the real reason behind him just wearing his boxers when he gets in bed with Alex, because he just wants to make it fair. He wants to make sure that he's giving her the same amount of pleasure as she does.

Since she's wearing lingerie for him right now, then he feels like he needs to wear his boxers for her right now; and that's exactly what he's planning on doing for the woman he loves, especially now that he was done getting Max set up. Walking over to his bags, Jay smirked as he looked at his beautiful wife (whom he knew was starting to get impatient with him). "Okay, take a breath and just relax Alex. I promise, I'm about to take them off right now." Alex laughed as she heard Jay say that, well aware that was the case. "I know, believe me baby." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, smiling at her; after which, he proceeded to make his way up to his bags so that he could take off his pants. But first, he decided to grab his deodorant so that he could freshen up. After all, that was something else that Alex wanted him to do; she wanted him to smell good for her, and she wanted him to always put on fresh deodorant on while they're here in the hospital. And that was due to the fact that it was quite warm here in the NICU, and that was why Jay needed the deodorant; and because he also wants to make sure that Alex was happy, which is exactly what he was going to do for his wife.

He was going to make Alex happy, which he was already doing by him just wearing his boxers; but what was going to make her even happier, was him joining her in bed and just cuddling up to him. And that's why Jay was in the midst of getting ready to just cuddle up to each other. To hold each other close and relax as they take it easy in bed. "So, did you take your meds while you were in the washroom?" Turning around to look at his beautiful wife, Jay agreed with Alex as she asked him whether he took his medicine in the washroom; and that was due to the fact that he knew that Alex was always worried about whether he took his meds or not, but he can reassure her right now that he most definitely did just take his medicine. "Don't worry Alex, I just took my medicine." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, glad that was the case. "Good, because that's exactly what I want to hear." Jay smirked as he heard Alex say that, before getting ready to so that he can get in bed with the woman he loves, which is what he wants to do right now. He wants to get in bed with Alex, and he wants to hold her close to him for the entire day (like he's done every single day since she gave birth).

Walking up to his side of the bed, Jay smirked as he looked at the most beautiful woman in the entire world; the woman he loves more than anything and is very proud to call his wife. "So, did you already pick a show that we're going to watch?" Alex shook her head as Jay asked her whether she already picked a show for them to watch, because that wasn't something that she was ready to do yet; rather, she wanted to get in his arms first and cuddle up to him. Heck, that's all she really needs to do right now. She doesn't even need to watch TV if they don't want to, because she just wants to be in Jay's arms. "No, I didn't." Jay just looked at Alex as she said that, a bit confused as to why that was the case; that was, until she explained. "I'm not even sure if I'm interested in watching TV." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, as that was okay; if she didn't want to watch TV, then they didn't need to watch TV. Rather, they can just hold each other close and relax with each other. "And that's fine, we can just relax and hold each other close then." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, smiling at the love of her life. "Thanks." Jay shook his head as he heard Alex say that, as it wasn't needed.

Climbing into bed with Alex, Jay smiled as he sat down next to his beautiful wife; after which, he moved close to his beautiful wife so that they can relax with each other. Afterwards, he wrapped his arm around her so that they can cuddle up to each other, which was just what Alex wanted to do, as it was very comfortable. She is so comfortable whenever she's in Jay's arms, and he knows that, which was the entire reason why they were currently in each other's arms. Getting close to her handsome husband, Alex smiled as she wrapped her arms around him; at the same time, Jay wrapped his arm around her and them tugged the covers up on top of the both of them. Afterwards, Alex smiled as she slipped close to him once again and put her hand on his chest; at the same time, Jay put his hand on her arm and smiled as he stroked her arm. He then turned his head and smiled as he kissed her forehead softly. "Hi." Laughing a bit as she heard him say that, Alex looked up at the man she loves more than anything in the entire world, her husband Jay Halstead. Turning his head to look down at Alex, Jay smirked as he bent down and proceeded to kiss her softly this afternoon. "God, I love you."

Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Oh, I know that." Jay laughed, agreeing with Alex as she said that; smiling, he then bent down and just smirked as he kissed Alex softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Jay smirked due to the fact that this really is exactly what he wants to do with his wife; especially since he knows that this is really helping her relax, which is what she needs to do. She needs to relax, and just hold him close as they cuddle up to each other in the hospital bed. Turning his head, Jay smiled as he wrapped his arm around her lower back and then kissed her forehead softly. "You comfortable?" Alex agreed with Jay as he asked her whether she was comfortable in his arms, because she most definitely was comfortable in his arms; I mean, what wife doesn't like to cuddle up to her dreamy husband in bed (especially when he's shirtless and as muscular as Jay is). Oh, now that's what really makes her comfortable; him behind shirtless, as they cuddle up to each other in bed. Laying down in Jay's arms, Alex smiled before thinking about something. "Can I actually do something?" Jay looked down at Alex as he said that.

"And what's that?" Alex smiled at Jay. "I want to sit in between your legs and cuddle up to you some more." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, well aware that was the case; so, he decided to open the covers again so that she can sit in between his legs.

Crawling in Jay's arms shortly after he opened the covers, Alex smiled as she laid her head down on his muscular chest and then wrapped her arms around his torso; at the same time, Jay proceeded to grab the covers once again and tugged the covers up on top of the both of them. And that was exactly what Alex wanted him to do, cover her up with the blanket and just hold her close to him. Wrapping his arms around her back shortly afterwards, Jay smiled as he turned his head and kissed her forehead softly. "Comfortable?" Alex agreed with Jay as he asked her that, before putting her hand on his chest as she stroked his chest; after which, she turned her head and bent down to kiss his chest softly. And let's just say that was exactly what Jay wanted, because he loves the feeling of her lips on his chest; along with the feeling of her breasts against his chest, because that was really sexy. Moving his hand to Alex's back, Jay smirked as he ran his hand up and down her back while kissing the top of her head as they both held each other close. "So, what are you thinking about right now as we hold each other close?" Alex smiled as she looked up at Jay. "I'm thinking of you."

Jay was a bit confused as he heard Alex say that, before looking down at her and rubbing her back. "Me?" Alex agreed with Jay as he asked her that, before smiling at him. "Like I said, you are the love of my life; and I want to think about how handsome my dreamy husband is. Oh, and how comfortable he is when you cuddle up to me." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, well aware that was the case; after which he ran his hand up and down her back. Kissing her forehead again, Jay smirked due to the fact that this was everything that they both wanted to do right now; they wanted to hold each other close, and they just want to give each other a bunch of attention. Well, as much attention as they can give each other when they're in the hospital with each other. And that was due to the fact that he can't really give her much attention when they're here in the hospital, due to the fact that they're in the hospital. I mean, they'd love to give each other some sexy attention; but it's not appropriate when it comes to where they want to do it, even if they just want to tug the covers up on top of the both of them and just hold each other close right now.

Moving her hand back to Jay's chest, Alex smiled as she stroked it with her thumb and smiled as she laid her head down again; and that was exactly what they both want to do with each other right now, which then led to him wrapping his arm around her back. Turning his head, Jay smiled as he kissed her forehead softly and just gave her some love. "How are you feeling right now?" Alex smiled as Jay asked her that. "I'm feeling really happy and comfortable, because this is exactly what I want to do right now; I want you to hold me close, and I want to relax with you." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, before running his hand up and down her back. "I hope you know that I'll always hold you close, if that's what you want me to do for you." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, well aware that was the case; after which, she looked up at the man of her dreams. "Hey, I know that Jay." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, smiling as he looked down at the most beautiful woman in the entire world; afterwards, he smirked as his beautiful wife.

Bending down, Jay just smirked as he took things nice and slow with his beautiful wife. "How are you feeling right now?" Alex smiled as she heard Jay ask her that. "I feel great, and I am just happy over the fact that we're currently cuddling up to each other; especially since this is nice, us just spending some time with each other. Now, how about you just start giving me some massages?" Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, well aware that was something that she wanted. She wanted him to give her a nice massage, and that was what he just started to do; by rubbing her back in a way that was very similar to a massage, while also letting her continue lay down on his chest. "Do you think this is good enough?" Alex agreed with Jay as he asked her whether him rubbing her back (the way he currently is) was good enough for a massage, which it most definitely was; because he was helping her relax and calming her down instantly. Running her hand down his muscular chest, Alex smirked due to the fact that her husband is so damn sexy.

And let's just say that it was really sexy, especially since Jay is always so muscular. Moving her hand to Jay's chest once again, Alex then bent down and proceeded to kiss it softly. Moving his hand to the back of Alex's head, Jay smirked due to the fact that it was exactly what they are in the midst of doing right now; they are holding each other close, and they are relaxing whilst holding each other close to one another. Running his hand up and down Alex's back shortly afterwards, Jay smirked as he kissed her forehead softly and just made sure that they both stayed calm. Stroking Alex's back, Jay smiled as he looked at his beautiful wife. "So, is this all we're going to do for now today?" Alex agreed with Jay as he asked her whether this was all she wanted to do today, because that was the truth; she just wants to hold her loving husband close to her, and she wants to take it easy with him. "Yeah, this is what I want to do. Well, maybe I can so something else. But I'm not sure if you're going to let me do it." Jay was confused as Alex said that. "And what's that?"

She just thought about what they could do right now, something that was related to what they want to do with each other; and that would have each other, which they can't have when they're in the hospital…or can they? It turns out that they can, because Alex just thought of something; something that Jay really likes the idea of and is most definitely going to join her in doing. And that's why they're currently in the washroom with each other, getting ready to do something quite sexy with each other. And just what might that be? Well, that would be take a nice shower with each other; and they would get a bit of intimate time with each other, because that was exactly what the could want to do. And let's just say that Alex is quite excited about it. Making his way into the washroom, Jay smiled as he saw Alex standing at the counter in a bathroom; and even better, she was just wearing a bathrobe (which he loves). But not as much as he loves the feeling of the two of them holding each other close and sharing a sweet kiss with each other.

And that's what they're going to do as they take a shower together. Getting nice and close to the woman he loves, Jay smirked due to the fact that this is everything that they want right now; and he knows that, because she already told him that she wants to feel his hands all over her body. And when they're in the shower, they're going to get a chance to do just that, which is everything that Alex wants Jay to do, especially since she needs to wash up. And that was the real reason why she asked Jay to join her, because she needs help in the shower; she needs help to wash up, so that they can make sure that she's clean. But first, she needs to calm down due to the fact that she's a bit nervous; even though Jay is the man that she loves more than anything in the entire world, she still feels nervous when it comes to what he's going to see when she takes off her robe. And there's just something about the way that Alex is acting right now that makes Jay see that. Smiling at his wife as he walked up behind her, Jay smirked as she was still beautiful. And that was something that he was going to tell her, while also getting her to turn around and make sure that she looked at him.

"Hey, how about you turn around and look at me?" Looking at Jay in the mirror, Alex then proceeded to turn around and look at the man she loves (who was just wearing a towel); after which, Jay stepped close to his beautiful wife while putting his hands on her hips. At the same time, Alex put her hands on his chest and cuddled up to him; after all, that's what she needs right now. She needs to cuddle up to the man she loves, and she needs to hold him close to her. Stepping close to Jay again, Alex smiled as she leaned in and kissed her loving husband softly (while also wrapping her arms around his neck); after which, Jay moved his hands to her back and held her close to his chest. Leaning in, Jay smiled as he took things nice and slow with the most beautiful woman in the entire world. "I love you Alex." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I love you too Jay, and I am so glad that you are here with me; I am ready to just hold you close to me in the shower." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that because that's what he wants too. "Hey, just take a breath. If you're nervous and having second thoughts, then we don't need to do this."

Alex shook her head as she heard Jay say that, because that's not what she wants to hear; rather, she wants to get in the shower with the man she loves. And she just wants to make sure that they hold each other close in the shower. Getting close to Jay, Alex smiled as she wrapped her arms around his neck and just held him close; at the same time, Jay wrapped his arms around her back and just held the woman nice and close to him. Holding Alex against his chest, Jay smirked as he made sure that she pressed her breasts against his chest (whether she wanted to do that or not); but boy, did she like the feeling too. It was the best damn feeling in the entire world, and that was actually why she just moaned. "Damn, that was hot." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, smiling as he leaned in and proceeded to kiss him softly. Taking things nice and slow with Jay, Alex smirked due to the fact that this really is everything that she wants right now; she wants to hold the man she loves, and she wants to take things nice and slow with him.

"Can you go start the shower for us?" Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, before deciding to open her bathrobe first; because that was really what he wanted. He wanted her bathrobe to be undone so that he could look at her body, her gorgeous body; and that was how he was going to continue describing her body, because that's exactly what it is. Sure, she just gave birth to their twins; but that didn't mean that her body isn't extremely sexy, because it sure is. "God, you are so damn sexy." Putting her hands on Jay's chest as she heard him say that, Alex smiled as she leaned in and proceeded to kiss him softly. Taking things nice and slow with her dreamy husband, Alex smirked due to the fact that this is everything that she wanted to do right now; she wanted to take things nice and slow with his beautiful wife due to the fact that this is exactly what the couple want to be doing, and they just want to relax with each other. And right now, they're going to do that in the shower (as Jay also washes her body). "God, I am ready to wash you." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, because that was exactly what she wanted as well; she wants to feel his hands all over her body.

"Well then, that's exactly what we're going to do." Jay smirked as he heard Alex say that, before walking away so that he could turn the shower on; after all, it does take a bit more time to heat up here in the hospital. That was something that he had to learn the hard way. "God, every time I turn on the shower; I remember the first time I took a shower here in the hospital, and what I ended up doing to myself." Alex laughed as she heard Jay tell her that, as that most definitely is something that she remembers as well. "I'm glad you did that though, because it made me smile during some of the early hard times." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, before moving his hand to her neck; after which, he smiled as he leaned in and then kissed her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Jay smirked due to the fact that this really is everything that he wants to do; he wants to take things nice and slow with Alex, and just make her feel so damn beautiful. That's when he decided to take off her robe so that she was naked.

And let's just say that was exactly what Alex wanted, because that meant that she got to cuddle up to her man and make her feel better; after which, Jay smiled as he proceeded to take off his towel so that they were both naked. Setting his towel down, Jay smiled as he wrapped his arms around Alex's back; at the same time, she wrapped her arms around his neck and just smiled. Picking Alex up in his arms, Jay smirked as he wrapped Alex's legs around his and kissed him softly. Taking things nice and slow with his beautiful wife, Jay smirked as he turned around and then proceeded to start carrying her towards the shower; the shower that they were going to enjoy with each other, as they washed up with each other for the first time that she gave birth to their twins (which was exactly that they wanted to do with each other). They want to hold each other close, and they want to make sure that they are currently just relaxing together; and that they also make sure that they don't go too fast, because they need to relax and hold each other.

Closing the door behind him, Jay smiled as he held Alex under the water; at the same time, he continued to kiss her slowly. "You like this?" Wrapping her arms around his neck, Alex smiled as she most definitely was; at the same time, Jay moved his hands to her back and just smirked as he kissed the most beautiful woman in the entire world. The woman he loves like crazy, Ms. Alex Halstead.
