Johan grabbed his bags, stepped off the snail bus and entered Wartwood...only to stop in shock when he saw the town had literally split in half and frogs were wearing either "Team Hunter" or "Team Alastair" shirts. He saw Anne and approached her. "Dude, where have you been?" she asked. "You were gone for two days!"
"I was out getting supplies from the next town over," he said. "Why does Wartwood look like a fan convention gone horribly wrong?"
"Okay, long story short, the theater troupe who were supposed to be here for theater night got eaten, so I used a projector to show everyone Love Choice and..."
"Love Choice? You mean that stupid werewolf romance movie?"
"IT'S NOT STUPID! Ahem. Sprig and Polly got into an argument over who is better, Hunter or Alastair, and...well...let's just say a literal fan war started. Then Polly and Sprig nearly got hurt, they learned a lesson over brothers and sisters being supposed to protect each other, then the war ended and everyone quickly got over it."
Johan blinked in surprise. "Damn. I missed out."
"You sure did."
"Oh, and just to make sure this doesn't happen again, I'M picking the next movie."
"WE ARE NOT WATCHING BERSERK!"
"Not what I was thinking of."
Later that night, a second movie night was to take place at the stage. Sprig, carrying a bag of popcorn, looked around. "Hey, Sprig! Over here! I saved you a spot," called out Polly.
Sprig sat on the stump next to Polly and gave her a bag of popcorn. "And I brought you some sweets."
Polly hugged him. "You're a good older brother, Sprig."
"Aww, well, ain't that nice," said Hop Pop. Then he squeezed in between them. "Now scooch over. I need a seat."
Anne and Johan took the stage and the former said, "Hello, everyone! After much deliberation with JoJo, we are going to watch a conflict-free classic 1981 movie, Clash Of The Titans! But before we start, a little context. This movie is based loosely on human mythology-"
"JUST START THE MOVIE!" everyone shouted.
"Santo cielo," groaned Johan.
Anne chuckled. "You got it," she said as she turned on the projector.
