Hi Readers: I still want to apologize for the big delays in between chapters, but I seem to always write my best at the end of the day; so please be patient with me. Chapter One Hundred and Fifty-Seven
Post-Supper Cuddle Time
She was glad that they just had something simple for supper, because it was exactly what she needed. She just needed something easy, which was exactly what mac and cheese is; it's something easy, that goes down quite easily. And she was grateful that Matt decided to make it, even though it was something that it was a bit childish. Then again, Gabby feels like that's the reason why she likes it so much; because it's something childish, and it makes her smile. And that's what she needs to do right now, she needs to do whatever she can to smile; especially when she's in this sad time, a sad time which is about to become a bit of sexy time too. Because at the end of the day, Gabby loves to do that with her loving husband, who just so happens to be in the midst of walking up behind her in their primary suite bathroom, just wearing the tight boxers that she loves more than anything. And she can only assume that he's doing that on purpose, because he knows what it does to her; and that's make her smile, and that's what he wants to do.
Especially since they aren't where they originally though they were going to be tonight, their family home; if you forgot, their original plan was for them to go to their family home. But that changed after they got the news that they got, and there was a reason for that; that reason being that they still want to be close to the boys, even if they aren't taking care of them right now. And that was more than okay with their family because they realize that it's what they need right now; especially when Gabby is having a hard time just looking at herself in the mirror and putting her hands on her stomach. And one of her hands is on a specific part of her stomach, because it's where their baby boy should be growing inside of her. "If you want to wear a shirt tonight, then I understand." Turning around to look at the man she loves, Gabby took a breath as that wasn't even something that she was thinking about; rather, she wants to stay like this, because she knows that it means that she'll get his hands all over her. And that's what she wants now.
She wants to feel her husband's hands all over her, because that's the only way that he can really show her loved right now (other than by kissing her); and that's what she wants, she wants to feel Matt kiss her (while also running his hands all over her body). "No, I want to wear this." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before walking up to her; turning to face Matt as he walked up to her, Gabby smiled as she leaned back against the counter and then put her hands on his chest. Moving his hands to Gabby's hips this evening, Matt brought her close because he knows that this is what she needs right now; she needs him to hold her and give her comfort. And that's why he just decided to wrap his arms around her and get close to her. Wrapping her arms around his back shortly afterwards, Gabby took a breath as she got close to him; prompting Matt to press his lips to her forehead softly afterwards, the couple held each other close as the news that they got today has really been starting to hit them. And that was obvious to Matt now.
The reason? He finally felt like the had permission, and the ability to cry; and that's something that he's needed to do for a while, he's needed to cry and just let some of his emotions out. So much so, that Gabby was a bit taken aback when she saw that he was crying. "Hey are you crying." Matt took a breath as he heard Gabby ask him that, before trying to hide his emotions. "No, I'm okay." Looking up at her husband, Gabby could tell that wasn't the case. "Matthew." Matt sighed as he heard Gabby say his full name, which could only mean that she knew that he was in fact crying; because he was, and it actually felt good to get out some of the emotions that he's been dealing with since they got the news. "Hey, are you okay Matt?" Matt sighed as Gabby asked him whether he was okay, because he was okay; but maybe not entirely, he just has a lot of emotions right now. And that's why he had to cry a bit. And it's also why he's holding her so close (while also kissing her forehead softly). "Listen, I need to brush my teen so that we can get in bed."
Gabby just looked up at Matt as he told her that, well aware that was the case; but is it really the time for him to brush his teeth, if he needs her too? If he needs her, then they should talk. Then again, it means that he'll be done; and he'll be ready for bed and won't have to get out of bed later if she falls asleep. "Okay, you do that. But can you promise me something baby?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she asked him whether he can promise her something, because that's something that he can always do. "What is it?" Gabby took a breath. "Promise me that you don't hide your emotions from me Matt, because I want you to talk to me; and I want you to make sure that we're on the same page." Moving his hand to the side of her head, Matt smiled as he leaned in and proceeded to kiss the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I love you too Matt." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before kissing her forehead softly. "I need to brush my teeth now."
Gabby laughed as she heard Matt say that, well aware that was the case. "I know." Matt smiled as he bent down and proceeded to kiss the woman he loves once again. After which, he took things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. And that's why they're holding each other close, it's due to the fact that Gabby really needs to just be held right now. "I promise you that I'm going to hold you as long as you need me to, because I know that's what you need right now." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before moving to wrap her arms around his back; after which, she leaned up and proceeded to kiss her loving husband softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Matt smiled due to the fact that it's exactly what he needs to do. He needs to take things slow with his girl, so that he can make her feel better. "I promise that you're going to feel much better tonight." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I know, and I'm glad that you're in your boxers to do that."
Matt laughed as he heard Gabby say that, well aware that was the case; after all, what's better than the feeling of them having some intimate with each other. But not intimate time that also includes sex, but intimate time that doesn't include sex; because that's what Gabby really needs, intimate time without sex. And that's fine with Matt, because he's more than okay with them just relaxing and taking it easy with each other. "I just hope you know that you aren't going to be taking them off." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she said that, before moving his hand to her neck; after which, he leaned in and kissed him softly. "I promise, I'm going to keep them on. You need to relax, and I know you aren't in the emotional place that you need to so that we can make love to each other." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case; after which, she wrapped her arms around him and just held him close. He then turned his head and smiled as he kissed her forehead softly, which is exactly what Gabby wants from her husband.
Well, not just on her forehead; but on her lips too, because that's where she wants kisses too. Bending down, Matt smirked as he started to take things nice and slow with Gabby; and that's really what she wants right now, because she knows that he just needs to relax. And that's why Matt needs to pull away and get ready for bed. "Listen, how about we just finish getting ready for bed? Then we can kiss each other some more in bed?" Gabby laughed as she heard Matt say that, as that most definitely is something that she wants to do. She wants to kiss her husband in bed, and just hold him close. "How about we go lay down in bed?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, because that's something that he most definitely wants to do. He wants to go lay down in bed with the woman he loves; that way, they can cuddle up to each other and just relax for the night. Grabbing his toothbrush, Matt smiled as he proceeded to go start brushing his teeth; and that's due to the fact that he wants to get in bed with Gabby. "Maybe we can plan tomorrow?"
Matt turned to look at Gabby as she said that. "What are you talking about?" Gabby took a breath. "I'm starting to wonder whether us always staying inside is something that's really healthy." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, as they most definitely do need to talk about that. "Well, I think that we are going to talk about that." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, glad that was the case. "Good, then let's get out to bed and then we can talk." Matt agreed with Gabby, ready to do just that.
Walking out of the bathroom after putting some cologne on tonight, Matt smiled as he looked at his beautiful wife as she laid down in bed today; and he couldn't help but smile, because she looks so damn sexy. God, so damn sexy; and he's just glad that they're going to be holding each other in bed so that he can make her feel better. He just doesn't know whether that's going to include her being in his arms, or if that's going to include them being side by side; but the truth is, he'd rather be holding Gabby in his lap and wrapping his arm around her. After all, that's when Gabby is the most comfortable; and it's also when she's the most relaxed. "I want you to sit in my lap, and cuddle up to me like that tonight; because I know that's going to help you the best." Turning her head to look at Matt, Gabby smiled and agreed with him. "I was thinking of doing just that anyways." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she said that, smiling as that was exactly what he wanted to hear Gabby say. "Good, then how about you slip over? Then, I can get in bed."
Gabby laughed a bit as she heard Matt say that, before smiling over in bed like he wants her to do; at the same time, Matt smiled as he made his way over to his side table. Setting his phone down on his charger, Matt smiled as he looked at his beautiful wife as she relaxed in bed; and let's just say that he really likes the sight of her just relaxing in bed, especially when she has so much on her mind. "I hope you know that this is a safe space to talk, if you want to talk to me about anything tonight." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I know baby." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before proceeding to get in bed with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. Adjusting his pillow as soon as he was in bed, Matt smiled as he looked at Gabby. "Do you want me to sit up? Or do you want me to lay down? I'm leaving it up to you." Gabby smiled as Matt asked her what she wanted him to do, well aware of the fact that he will do whatever she wants him to do for her. "Let's sit up for a bit."
Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before watching as she got close to her; after which, he wrapped his arm around his beautiful wife (just like she wanted him to do). At the same time, Gabby cuddled up to him and put her hand on his chest (while also laying her head down on it). Grabbing the covers afterwards, Matt smiled as he tugged them up on top of them; after which, he put his hand on her stomach and stroked it with his thumb. "You okay with me doing that?" Putting her hand on top of Matt's, Gabby smiled as she looked up at the man she loves; after which, she rolled over onto her side and wrapped her arms around his torso. Laying her head down on his chest afterwards, Gabby smiled as she cuddled up to her man. Slipping down in bed, Matt smiled as he put his hand on her back and ran his hand up and down her back. "Are we going to fall asleep? Or are we going to stay up?" Gabby laughed as Matt asked her that. "Are you really complaining that your wife is getting comfortable with you like this?" Matt shook his head and smiled.
After which, he slipped down in bed some more; laying down on his back, Matt smirked as he proceeded to tug the covers up on top of the both of them. Putting his hand on the top of her back at the same time, Matt smiled as he turned his head and kissed her forehead softly; after all, that was exactly what Gabby wanted him to do. She wants him to do exactly this. "I'm glad that we're doing this." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, feeling the same way as he ran his hand up and down her back; after which, he stroked her back with his thumb and smiled as he turned his head and kissed her forehead softly. "I'm at your service, and ready to do whatever you need when it comes to making you feel better; this is a hard time for the both of us, and I want you to feel better." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case; and it was also because she's very lucky when it comes to whom she's married to, and that would be one Matthew Casey. "How did I get so lucky to have you as my husband?" Matt laughed.
"I think we both know that I'm the lucky one." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case; especially when it comes to all of the drama that they've been through over the years, and this is one of the hard times in their life. "You're here for me, just like you were when we lost our first baby." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before running his hand up her back. "Baby, of course I'm going to do that for you; that's my job as your husband, and you should know that better than anybody." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, smiling as she moved her head on top of his head some more; and god, that was the best idea that she's had in a while. The feeling of his heart beating under his chest is perfect, and she's so happy that they have a chance to hold each other close like this. They are just holding each other the way they have to, and that's extremely close; and even better, her man just has the covers on top of the both of them. Oh, and he's kissing her forehead in the best way possible. "Are you okay?"
Turning his head to look down at Gabby, Matt took a breath. "I'm getting better, still hard; and the truth is, it's even harder when I also have to watch you hurt so much." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I know, but you can still talk to me; you know that, right baby?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before feeling Andy jump up on their bed. He then got close to the both of them and decided to lay down next to them on the bed, which is something that they're both okay with. "You should take him on a walk tomorrow." Turning his head to look down at his beautiful wife, Matt pressed his lips to hers before whispering to her. "Only if you come with me. I'm not leaving you alone." Matt then planted his hand on her back, stroking it with his thumb at the same time; after which, he decided to wrap his arm around her back nice and tight while kissing her forehead again. "I mean that Gabby, I'm not going on a walk without you." Gabby took a breath and agreed with Matt, actually liking the idea.
"And that's because I'm still worried about you and want to keep an eye on you." Gabby then realized that was the case, and that she should've known that was the case. "Right, that makes sense now." Matt laughed as he heard Gabby say that, well aware that was the case. "I mean, do you expect me to do anything other than make sure that you're okay?" Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, before shaking her head. "No, I shouldn't have." Matt smiled as she said that, before proceeding to kiss her forehead softly. "I am going to be staying with you, as long as you need me; and I know that's going to be for a while." Gabby agreed with Mat ta she said that, because that most definitely is going to be the truth. "Oh, if that isn't the truth." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before running his hand up and down her back; after all, that was very comfortable and exactly what Gabby wanted him to do. "I know that today was hard, and I just want to make sure that you k now that I'm always going to be here for you baby." Gabby agreed.
"I know Matt, I know." Matt just smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before turning his head and kissing her forehead softly; after which, he went to grab the TV remote and decided to just turn it on so that they can watch TV (which they ended up doing for the rest of the night as they just took it easy with each other). And that's not just because it's what they wanted to do (which it was), it was because it was what was the best for Gabby and their daughters; because it allowed them to just take it easy, and relax.
