Note to Readers: Before we begin this chapter, I want to apologize for how short the previous one was; I do try and always write long chapters, as that's what I really enjoy doing. However, that's all I could think of when it came to what I wanted to include in that chapter; and that meant that I had to continue on with this chapter, while also leaving that other chapter where it ended. I hope that you enjoyed it regardless and are ready for another (hopefully longer) chapter; here we go with Chapter One Hundred and Sixty.

Chapter One Hundred and Sixty
You Aren't a Failure

They agreed that it'd be best if Matt took a quick walk with Andy alone, while Gabby took it easy in bed. If she didn't need to go outside, then she shouldn't have to; not when Matt knows that she really isn't up for it, not when he knows that she's just putting up a façade and a brave front in front of others. But she can't do that to him, he can see past the smile on her face, and the cheery way that she's talking (and walking) around their home; and that's because he's in just as much pain as she is over the loss of Jackson David, the son that they both wanted more than anything. But it wasn't meant to be, yet at least; or at all, because Matt isn't going to push when it comes to what they're going to do. If Gabby feels like she's done having kids after the girls, then they'll be done having kids; he's leaving it up to her, just like how he's leaving it up to her when it comes to what outfit he's going to be wearing for her today. After all, they don't need to be intimate with each other (just because they're alone); rather, he can just tell that Gabby needs to be held.

And if that's what his wife needs, then that's what she's going to get today; she's his priority today, as they grieve for Jackson David Casey. He would've been their sixth biological child (seventh overall), and now he's the second biological (third overall) that they've lost together. And that's not a statistic that he likes, having lost a third of the children that you and your wife have always wanted; that's just a horrible thought, and something that he knows is killing Gabby…especially when she still has to carry the baby, until she gives birth to the girls in five months. And he can just see in her body language, and the way she looks at him; she's in pain, and she thinks that she failed him. But that's the last thing that Gabby did, as she could never fail him when it comes to them having children; a message that he was going to tell her after he joined her in the bath, hopefully at least. He doesn't yet know whether Gabby would be okay with him joining her, but he really hopes that she's okay with it; as he it would allow him to start holding her much sooner.

And while originally, he thought that he would have to ask to hold her in the shower; he has to say, he loves the idea of holding her in the bath. It might be much more relaxing for the woman he loves, and that's what Matt wants her to feel right now; relaxed and loved. Because that most certainly is how he feels towards her, he loves her more than anything in the entire world; and he feels like she completes him, in a way that no other woman could ever complete him. And that's why Matt is so proud to call Gabby his wife and will always be proud to call her his wife, which is something else that he plans on telling her, because he just has this feeling that she needs to hear it right now. Walking into the bathroom behind Gabby, Matt smiled as he proceeded to set his boxers down next to the lingerie that his beautiful wife was going to wear for him; but he most definitely will not be saying anything about it, because that's not something that he needs to think about right now. He doesn't need to think about his wife so sexually because he needs to relax.

They need to relax, and they need to take this time to grieve. Walking up right behind Gabby, Matt smiled as he put his hands on her hips and then brought her body back against his chest; something that he knows that she likes more than anything in the entire world, because it gives her a bunch of comfort. Which is something that she needs because she's still hurting (but you already know that). "I know what you're trying to do." Turning around in Matt's arms, Gabby smiled as she stepped close to him and wrapped her arms around his neck; at the same time, Matt wrapped his arms around her and just held his beautiful wife close to him. Bending down, Matt smiled as he kissed her shoulder softly due to the fact that this is exactly what Gabby needs right now; she needs to be held by her husband, and she needs to be comfortable. Wrapping her arms around his shoulders, Gabby smiled as she leaned back and looked into Matt's eyes. After which, she leaned in and proceeded to kiss her loving husband softly. Taking things slow with him, she smiled.

"How do you feel?" Gabby took a breath as Matt asked her how she's feeling, because she most definitely is not the best; and that's due to the fact that she's still mourning, they both are. "I hope you know that you can talk to me, and that you don't need to hide your feelings from me." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case; after which, she stared into his eyes sand just took a breath. "Are you sure that you want to talk to me, when I failed you…again?" Moving close to Gabby, Matt brought her against his chest before moving his hand to her neck; after which, he stared into her eyes to get her attention. "Hey, I do not want to ever hear you say that again; because you most definitely DID NOT fail me, nor could you ever fail me. Gabby, you're my life; and I don't say that lightly. I hope you know that I mean it when I say that this life, it means nothing to me if I don't have you and the boys in it." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before getting close to Matt and moving to hug him this morning, which she needs to do.

She needs to hold her husband close to her, and she needs him to make her feel better; and that's exactly what he plans on doing today, because that's exactly what he plans on doing for her. Leaning back again, Matt smiled as he moved his hand to her neck and just got close to her; after which, he leaned in and proceeded to kiss the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. And let's just say that's exactly what the both of them want to do right now, they want to hold each other close and just relax. "Listen, what do you say me, and you get in the bath; because I think we both know that you need to relax, and just take it easy right now." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before leaning in and proceeding to kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the man she loves, Gabby smiled due to the fact that this is exactly what they both want; at the same time, Matt moved his hand to her neck and just smiled as they both took things nice and slow with each other. And that's what they need to do with each other right now.

"Listen, we need to get in the bath before it gets cold." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before smiling as he went to grab her robe. "Can I take this off for you?" Gabby smirked, agreeing with her husband as he asked her whether he can take off her robe; because he most definitely can take off her robe, as that's exactly what she wants him to do. "I want you to take it off please." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before moving his hand to her neck; after which, he leaned in and kissed the woman he loves slowly. Taking off her bathrobe as he continued to kiss her, Matt smiled as he went to push it off over her shoulders; smirking as she put her hands on his muscular chest afterwards, Gabby just knew that Matt enjoyed the sight of her naked, pregnant body in front of him. Moving his hands to her stomach, Matt smirked as he leaned in and kissed the woman he loves once again. "God, you are so damn sexy." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before watching as he walked away to go hang up her bathrobe.

After which, he made his way back over to her and put his hands on her arms; smiling as she put her hands on his chest again, Gabby ran her hands down his muscular chest and then went to grab his towel. Taking it off for her husband, Gabby smirked as she knew that was something that most definitely turned Matt on; so much so, that he decided to move his hand to her neck and step close to the woman he loves. Kissing Gabby softly, Matt smiled as he stroked her cheek before bending down and moving to kiss her neck; after which, he started to suck on it as a way to tease his wife. Moaning as Matt did that, Gabby couldn't help but be thrilled over the fact that this is what they're in the midst of doing right now. "Damn baby." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before turning his head once again; after which, he leaned in and proceeded to kiss the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. After which, Matt proceeded to wrap his arms around her while tugging her body against his chest; at the same time, Gabby put her hands on it.

Leaning in, Matt smirked as he kissed his beautiful wife once again; and that's due to the fact that this is everything that they both want, they both want to hold each other close and have fun with each other. Well, not have fun with each other; rather, they just need to take it easy and relax together. And that means that they just need to make sure that they hold each other, and they need to cuddle up to each other; and that's something that they'll both enjoy, as it will make Gabby feel better. "Here, it's time for me to get in the bath; then you can join me in the bath, and I can hold you in my arms." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, smiling as she wrapped her arm around his back once again; at the same time, Matt put his hands on her stomach and leaned in to kiss her softly. "I love you Gabby." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, smiling at him. "I love you too Matt, now please get in the bath so that I can cuddle up to you in the bath; maybe you can even wash me." Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that. "Oh, I'm washing you."

Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Oh, I am well aware of the fact that you're going to wash me." Wrapping his arms around Gabby, Matt smirked because he loves the fact that she's naked in his arms. "Listen, I need to get in the bath; as much as I love the feeling of your gorgeous body against mine like this, I think that we need to get in the bath before I take you to bed and have sex with you." Gabby laughed as she heard Matt say that, before putting her hands on his chest once again; at the same time, Gabby leaned up and proceeded to kiss the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. "Okay, time for us to get in the bath; I'm starting to get cold." Matt laughed as he heard Gabby say that. "Then move out of the way Ms. Casey, then I can get in the bath for you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before moving out of the way so that he can get in the bath for her; and let's just say that was a nice sight, the man she loves climbing into the bath so that they can join each other.

And that was not the only nice sight, as Matt had a nice sight of his own; the sight of his sexy, naked, pregnant wife just waiting to join him in the bath. "Okay, you are going to join me right now Ms. Casey; because you are really turning me on, and I want that body in my lap." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, before getting close to him; after which, she leaned over him and started to take things nice and slow with the man of her dreams. "God, you are so impatient and a real turn on. But can we talk in the bath?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she asked him whether they can talk in the bath, because they most definitely can talk in the bath. "We can talk all day if you want to baby, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, glad that was the case. "Good, because I just don't want to get too sexy with you today." Matt agreed with Gabby as he watched her climb into the bath with her, doing so quite quickly as she was starting to get cold; after which, she sat down in between his legs and just smiled.

Leaning back against Matt's chest as soon as she was in the bath with him, Gabby smiled as she felt him wrap his legs around hers; at the same time, he wrapped his arm around her and put his hand on her stomach. Moving her hand to his, Gabby smiled as she intertwined their fingers (a bit) and started to feel their wedding rings clash against one another's; something that made both her and Matt smile, just like it always does. Cuddling up to him as she smiled, Gabby laid down against his chest; at the same time, Matt turned his head and left a soft kiss on her forehead. A kiss that always made Gabby feel better, as there's just something about the way that he kisses her that makes her happy; and that's something that Matt most definitely knows, as he always kisses her forehead when he gets a chance to do so. "Do you want me to turn the jets on?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he asked her whether she wants him to turn the jets on, as she most definitely does want him to turn the jets on. "I would love to feel the jets on me, might make me relax."

Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, as that was the goal; he wants to make her relax, he wants to make her feel better….and he wants her to feel like she can talk to him. "I have a condition though." Turning her head, Gabby looked up at Matt. "What's that condition?" Matt smiled at his girl as she asked him that. "You don't get to stay quiet all the time, I want to start the talking; if you have something on your mind, then let's start talking now. That way, you aren't all stressed, which is the exact opposite of the reason for the bath, which we're taking so that you can relax." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Are you also worried about the twins?" Taking a breath as Gabby asked him that, Matt didn't know what to say as he was hoping not to mention it. "I was hoping not to mention it." Sitting up in the bath, Gabby looked at the love of her life. "Hey, no. Same rules baby." Matt was a bit confused as he heard Gabby say that, unsure of just what she means by that. "What do you mean, same rules?"

Gabby smiled as Matt asked her what she meant by same rules, because what she means is that if he forces her to open up to him; then he's not going to stay quiet when it comes to how he's feeling. Instead, he's going to talk to her; and they're going to comfort each other, both now (while they take a bath with each other) and later (when they're cuddling up to each other in bed). "I'm only going to talk to you, if you promise that you're going to talk to me as well." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, agreeing to the requirements for her to open up to him, which, in fairness, are what they should be. How can he expect his wife to be completely open and honest with him, when he isn't doing the same with her; so, the request for him to be open and honest with her is a request that he most definitely can (and will) fulfill to the best of his abilities. And he'll gladly do so for the rest of his life, as honesty is what makes a marriage stronger; and that's exactly what he wants to have, a strong marriage. "Cuddle up to me first." Gabby agreed, smiling.

"Do you want to wait until we're in bed to talk?" Looking up at Matt, Gabby smiled because she really likes that idea, because it means that they'll be all comfortable with each other. Heck, it also means that they'll be extremely relaxed. "Can we?" Matt nodded as he bent down, kissing his beautiful wife nice and slowly. "Of course, we can." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, as she is very happy that they are just going to hold each other close right now; and when they're in bed, they're going to do the same thing. And not just for an hour, or two hours; they're going to do it all day, because it's what they need to do. They need to hold each other close, and they just need to relax with each other; and Gabby's husband most certainly helps her do that, just by holding her in his arms (and leaving soft kisses on her forehead). God, those forehead kisses are great. "God, I love those forehead kisses." Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that, before wrapping his arm around her back; after which, he bent down and kissed his wife softly.

Just taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world, Matt smirked due to the fact that this really is everything that they both want to do with each other. They want to hold each other close, and just want to have fun together. Well, their type of fun; their type of fun is just being with each other, and spending time with their kids. And that's something that Gabby just thought about since they're going to be spending their day in bed. "So, what are we going to do with the kids; still want to keep them away?" Matt took a breath as Gabby asked him whether he wants to keep the kids away, because that most definitely is something that he thinks they should do for now; but he isn't going to make Gabby stay away from the boys, if she wants to have them with them in bed. "Baby, if you want them with us; then we can have them with us." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before laying her head down on his chest once again; after which, she stroked his chest and smiled at him.

After which, Matt moved his hand to her back and smiled as he ran his hand (and wedding band) up and down her back; and let's just say that made Gabby really happy, because it means that she can relax quite easily. There's just something about the way he runs his hand up and down her back (more specifically, the one which also has his wedding band on it); it's just perfect, and she's extremely happy over the fact that they're just holding each other close in the bath. Yet, at the same time, she also knew that she had to answer Matt's question, the question related to their boys…and whether she wanted to have them with her. But the truth was, she needs to be alone with Matt right now; she needs to take it easy with him as they both just relax with each other, and that's going to be something that they will both enjoy for the entire day. "Quick question, what are we going to be wearing in bed?" Matt smiled as he looked down at his girl, kissing her forehead softly as he wrapped his arm around her back and just held her right against his chest.

"What do you want to wear?" Gabby smirked as she moved to run her hand down his chest. "I think we both know what I want to wear. I want to wear lingerie, and I want you to wear boxers." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before moving his hand to her back; after which, he stroked her back and smiled as he proceeded to kiss her forehead softly. "Well, I most definitely can't wait to spend the day in bed like that. Just me and you, holding each other close as we cuddle up to each other in bed; with you in your boxers, and me wearing some lingerie." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before running his hand up and down her back as they just held each other close right now; I mean, what's better than the two of them holding each other close as they cuddle up to each other in the bath (and then in bed)? And even better, Matt's not just going to hold one of his girls in bed; rather, he's going to hold all three of his girls in bed. "I'm happy that we're going to just hold each other in bed and take it easy for the rest of the day."

Gabby looked up at Matt as he said that. "More specifically, you're going to hold all three of your girls in your arms." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, as he most definitely does like the idea of him holding all three of his girls in his arms. "I think we both know that's my favorite thing to do, other than making love to you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Oh, I know that. But right now, we need to relax and just take it easy. And that's all I plan on doing today." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before turning his head so that he can kiss her forehead softly. "Listen, five more minutes; then let's get out of here, and go relax in bed with each other." Matt nodded, smiling at his beautiful wife; after all, that's exactly what they both want to do. They both want to get out of the bath, and they want to go hold each other in bed today.

He just finished putting his boxers on this morning, the husband and father wanting to make sure that he was dressed before he made his way over to Gabby so that he can help her get dressed; more specifically, into the lingerie that she was going to wear for him. "I have to say, I really do like the lingerie that you're going to wear for me." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Oh, I know that you love the idea of me wearing lingerie; because you always love it when I just wear lingerie for you, because it means that you get to run your hands all over my body." Matt laughed as he heard Gabby say that, because it goes two ways; and he also knows that Gabby has yet to complain, nor would he ever complaint that he's going to run his hands all over her body. I mean, what's better than the feeling of her loving husband's hands all over her; because that's what she wants to feel, his hands all over her body. "Now, how about we get you in your lingerie?" Gabby agreed with Matt smiling at him this morning.

After which, Gabby moved her hands to his chest and just smiled as they both held each other close; moving his hands to her sides, Matt smirked as he leaned in and kissed her softly. He then wrapped his arms around her nice and tight, just keeping the woman he loves close to him right now. "God, you are so damn sexy." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Okay, time to relax now so that we can go cuddle up to each other in bed; and that means that you need to help me get dressed, if you want to at least." Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that, before moving his hands to her neck; after which, he leaned in and proceeded to start taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "God, you are so damn sexy; and I am just so glad that you're here with me, and that we're taking some time alone." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case; and that was due to the fact that he's just the best husband in the entire world, and a great father.

And that just turns her on so much, him being a great father; and she's so glad that she's the woman that made him a father and will always be the one who made him a father. Another thing that makes her smile? How he just made her feel better, even though he isn't doing anything special for her. "Listen, what do you say we get in bed? I want to go relax with you." Matt laughed. "Okay, let's go." Matt then went to grab her hand, ready to lead Gabby out of the washroom (with her not yet wearing the lingerie that she plans on wearing for him today); but Gabby already knew that was what he was thinking about doing, and she was not going to let that happen. "Nice try Matthew, come help me get dressed." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before going to grab the lingerie that was on the counter; that way, she can be dressed, and they can get in bed with each other. Grabbing the lingerie, Matt smirked as he looked at the woman he loves. "How about I help you, then we can go relax in bed?" Gabby agreed with Matt, before smiling at her man.

After which, Matt got close to the woman he loves and put his hands on her arms. Leaning in, Matt smirked as he kissed her softly and just started to take things nice and slow with her. "I love you, and I promise that we'll relax today." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before watching as he helped her get dressed in the lingerie that she knows her wants her to wear now.

They were now both dressed, and ready to get in bed with each other; but that doesn't mean that they're going right now, at least not without kissing her first. He wants to take things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world, which is exactly what Gabby wants him to do; moving her hands to his chest, she smiled due to the fact that this just feels perfect. At the same time, Matt moved one of his hands to her neck; at the same time, he put his other hand on her stomach…all the while, he continued to take things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. After all, that's exactly what they both want to do right now; they want to kiss each other, and they want to make sure that they relax. "Well, listen; I am not going to let you sit here when you can relax and just take it easy together. More specifically, I know that you want to do it in bed." Gabby agreed with Matt. "I know, I want to get to bed too and cuddle up to you in those tight boxers of yours." Matt agreed with her.

He then proceeded to help her down from the counter, setting her down in front of him; moving his hands on her stomach, Matt smiled as he stepped close to her. After which, Gabby put her hands on his chest once again; leaning in, Matt just smiled as he took things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you, and I am ready to hold you in bed today." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before watching as he grabbed her hand; after which, he intertwined their fingers and just smirked due to the fact that they're ready to hold each other close. Something that they're more than ready to do.
