Hi Readers: And welcome to another day of chapters. My apologies for starting late, but I decided to watch the Coronation of Charles and Camila; and wow, what a nice ceremony it was. Full of pomp and circumstance, as well as just what you'd expect from the British Monarchy. It was gorgeous, and I am so glad that I took the time to watch it. But that doesn't mean that I forgot about you guys, and that you would want to get an update; so, I am ready to do that for you now. So, here we go with Chapter One Hundred and Seventy.

Chapter One Hundred and Seventy
Camila: Offers of Time Alone, and a New Home

The feeling of his beautiful wife being all cuddled up to him as his entire family sleeps this morning was a nice feeling, especially since it gave Gabby a chance to do what she (obviously) really needs to do right now; and that would be get some quality rest, while not being disturbed. Because if the boys were asleep, that was what Gabby had the ability to do; she had the ability to sleep, and just relax as they cuddle up to him in bed. And the truth was, it was an adorable sight. The way Gabby has her hand on his chest, and her head on his heart; it just reminds him of when the boys were newborns, and cuddled up to him the same exactly way that she was at the moment. And there's nothing like this feeling, nothing like the feeling of his beautiful wife fast asleep on his chest; while he just gets a chance to admire this for ages, while also running his hands all over her body…which most certainly includes him taking off her bra (he already did that earlier). God, just the way their bodies are pressed against one another's in bed is really turning him on; and if they didn't have the boys, then Matt would definitely not be so calm right now. Rather, he might be very hormonal and all over his girl.

But since they have the boys, Matt knows that he can't do that; that he has to control himself, and that he just needs to take it easy. But what you don't know, was that Camila was actually here too; and that she was about to make her way up to the door of their room, before knocking on it. Turning his head, Matt smiled as he looked at his mother-in-law (while also waving at her); after which, he proceeded to reach over onto his side table to grab his iPhone. Pressing the pause button, Matt then proceeded to reach into his ears and took out his AirPods; that way, he'll have the ability to speak to Camila while she's here. And that was exactly what him taking his AirPods out of his ears allowed him to do, as Camila soon started to talk to him (while whispering). "Is everybody asleep?" Matt nodded as he stroked Gabby's back with his thumb, smiling as he was very comfortable right now. "Yes. Did you just get here?" Camila took a breath as Matt asked her that, as she didn't want to get in trouble. "Uhm, sorry about using the spare key." Matt shook his head, before waving it off. "It's okay, you wanted to come check on us; didn't you?" Camila agreed with Matt, sighing.

She then turned her head and looked at her daughter, whom she's still worried for; after all, she's still her little girl (even though she's now a wife, and mother herself). "I know that you have everything under control…" Matt then went to finish her thought. "But that doesn't change the fact that she's still your little girl at heart." Camila agreed with Matt as he said that, as that's exactly what she was thinking; she's just been worried for her daughter, and she wants to make sure that she's okay…because at the end of the day, she knows that this has to be hard on her. "If you want me to take care of the boys, I can do that." Matt shook his head. "Right now, they're asleep; and the truth is, we're just planning on relaxing here in our room anyways. Just take it easy in bed, and maybe in the little living room that we have over there." Camila agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that they aren't going to stay in bed all day. "Uhm, would you mind if I stay here? I just want to be here in case something happens. And if Andy needs anything…" Matt smiled as Camila asked him whether she can stay. "Camila, I think it'd be lovely if you stayed to help me take care of the family."

Camila smiled as she heard Matt say that, agreeing with him. "Do you think Gabby is going to be okay with it?" Turning his head, Matt soon saw that Gabby was awake; smiling at his girl shortly afterwards, he proceeded to lean in and kiss her forehead softly. "Hey you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before laying her head down on his chest again as she cuddled up to him some more; the mother and wife not having slept the best the night before, as she's still having nightmares when it comes to how she's doing after having learned that she had a partial miscarriage (of their son Jackson). Stroking Matt's chest, Gabby took a breath. "Hi." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before kissing her forehead softly and rubbing her back; after which, he proceeded to tell her that her mom is here. "Your mom's here if you want to say hi." Turning her head as she heard that her mother was here, Gabby took a breath; after which, she rolled over a bit and smiled at her mom. "Hi mom." Camila agreed with her daughter as she said that, still well aware of the fact that she's still hurting right now; so much so, that she isn't going to push when it comes to staying.

"I was just coming to check on how you were, and whether you guys needed anything; I used my spare key. Oh, that reminds me; did you get my text Matt?" Matt agreed with Camila as she asked him whether he got her text, as that was why he wasn't surprised to see her here. "Camila, that's how I wasn't surprised that you were here; you said that you wanted to drop some things off?" Camila agreed. "I went out to get some groceries for myself, and I was going to stop by quickly anyways; I got you guys just some basics, and some things for the boys so that you can at least feed them. Heaven knows that you can order out anytime you want, from your phone." Matt laughed. "I didn't even think of that, but I think we may use that app you're talking about at some point." Camila agreed with Matt. "Maybe not tonight, because I brought some of my pasta that you guys can eat; and you just have to put it in the oven, I left the instructions." Gabby smiled as she heard her mom say that. "Thanks mom." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before stroking her back as they continued to hold each other close; after which, he left a kiss on her forehead once again this morning.

"Listen, I am not going to stay long; I know that you guys need some time, and that you guys want to have it. So, I just wanted to let you know what I did, and I wanted to let you know it was me if the security system went off." Matt agreed with Camila as she said that, before turning his head and looking at Gabby; after which, he kissed her forehead softly. "Hey, how about you roll off my chest and just relax? I'm going to go talk to your mom downstairs for a bit, see what she brought us." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware of what he really wants to do; he wants to give her mom a complete update on how she is. "Okay." Bending down, Gabby kissed Matt's chest softly; after which, she smiled at her mom. "Mom, can you give me and Matt a minute? I'll come down to let you out." Gabby then rolled off of Matt's chest, laying down on her back; at the same time, Matt smiled at his wife. "If you want, I could stay…" Matt was confused as she said that. "What do you mean?" Camila took a breath. "I can stay and play with the boys downstairs?" Turning their heads, Matt, and Gabby both looked at each other as she asked them that; the couple needing to talk about it.

They were currently in the midst of sitting up in bed together, the couple wanting to talk about Camila's generous offer to watch the boys for them; while also staying here at the house, so that they can get some time alone with each other. And to tell you the truth, that idea does tempt Gabby; because it would allow them to have everything, and she may even want her mom to stay here the entire time that they're grieving (as it would allow them to both have the boys here at the house, and because it would mean that they can be alone when they need to). Gabby just doesn't know what Matt is going to think of it, because she hasn't spoken to him about it yet; but she most certainly is going to talk to him about it now, so that they can get that decided before they head downstairs. Getting closer to the woman he loves in bed after getting back in bed with her (and sending Andy downstairs to go to the washroom, and asking Camila to put him outside), Matt smiled due to the fact that he loves holding Gabby close to him; especially as she smiles.

As much as he knows that she wants to put up a brave front for him, he also knows that his beautiful wife is really hurting right now; so, he'd never force her to smile if she doesn't want to at the moment. But the smile that he's getting at the moment, it seems genuine; and that makes Matt incredibly happy, as it means that Gabby is feeling (somewhat) better when it comes to the aftermath of the miscarriage. But still, he does know that there are things that they are going to be dealing with for a while, and that also means that he's going to need to be here for her; which is something that he's more than ready to do for the rest of their lives, as he loves her more than anything in the entire world. But now, time for them to talk for a moment. "So, do you want to talk about your mom's offer?" Talking a breath, Gabby agreed with Matt as he asked her whether she wanted to talk about her mom's offer; because she most certainly does, especially as it really intrigues her. The idea of them getting some time alone, while the boys are nearby.

Well, that would mean everything to her; because it would also give the two of them some quality time together, which is something that they both (also) wanted this weekend. It was a hard choice (thought it shouldn't have been) when it came to whether they wanted the boys this weekend, or whether they wanted some more time alone; and that's due to the fact that they truly are still grieving. And that's why it was a struggle. They were debating whether they should take the weekend alone, or whether they should be with the boys, which is something that they've always promised each other they'd do every weekend, spend time as a family (as there are times where they get really busy during the week). But now, they have a chance to do it all: they get a chance to spend some time with the boys, while they also get a chance to have quality time alone, which they still need, as they are still grieving the loss of their son. So, that's where their heads are at right now; whether they want to take some time alone, or if they want to have the boys.

"I have to say that the idea that my mom put in my head is very tempting, because I would really enjoy some quality alone time with you; as much as I want to be with the boys…" Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, getting closer to the woman he loves (as he feels the same way when it comes to the situation). He knows that Gabby wants to be alone for a while, and why that's the case; he knows that she feels like she needs this time with him, so that he can hold her close and just give her the comfort that she needs right now. Yet, she's also torn apart; as it would mean that they are away from the boys, even though they would just be downstairs. But that's why they're talking about this right now, together; they're talking about it, so that they can make the decision together. That way, it's a decision that they made as a team; and nobody has to live with guilt, guilt that Matt knows Gabby would suffer from if she made this decision on her own. "Okay, I have to ask first…where's your head right now on the idea of time alone right now?"

Now if that wasn't the question of the day, where her head was at when it came to the idea of time alone; something that she would most definitely enjoy with her loving husband, some time alone (while their sons are just downstairs and being taken care of by her mother). And that was something that she most definitely did like the idea of, but she just wants to make sure that they make this decision together; she just doesn't want to make this decision unilaterally, even though this would be something that really does benefit her. But it wouldn't just benefit her, as it would also benefit her loving husband; because it would mean that he gets some time to grieve the loss of their son too, which is something that she knows he has to do. And that's why they need to make this decision together…and she's more than ready to talk about it. "So, can I ask you what you're thinking about this?" Looking down at Gabby as he stroked her back, Matt smiled at Gabby. "I'm ready to do whatever you want baby; you can make this decision." Gabby sighed.

"No, I'm not going to make this decision alone; this is something we're going to do together, because this is a time which we could both benefit from. And that's because we can both take some time to grieve, because I know that you need to grieve baby as well." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case; after which, he turned his head and kissed the top of her head. And that's exactly what Gabby needed right now, just some love and attention from the man of her dreams. "So, what are you thinking right now Gabby?" Taking a breath, Gabby thought about what she wanted; what she wanted from this (possible) chance at time alone, time where she can be alone with the man she loves. Taking a breath as she thought about it, she laid her head down on Matt's muscular chest. And god, that was exactly what she wanted. She wanted to cuddle up to him, and she wanted to hold him close; and that's exactly why she thinks that this is something that they need right now, time where they can just be together and mourn.

Mourn the loss of their son, because that's something that they both need a chance to do; away from the outside world, because she loves that idea. Running her hand down his muscular chest, Gabby took a breath as she then felt Matt turn his head and kiss her forehead softly; at the same time, Matt smiled as he turned his head and kissed her forehead softly. He then decided to run his finger up and down her back. "To tell you the truth, if we were alone…we could do things that we couldn't with the boys here, in our room with us." Matt looked down at Gabby as she said that, smirking at bit as he then watched her look up at him; at the same time, Matt wrapped his arm around her back and then moved his hand to her neck. Moving her hand to Matt's arm, Gabby smiled as she stroked it with her thumb; at the same time, he bent down and proceeded to take things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world (and the woman he wants to comfort and make feel better after the miscarriage they suffered).

Turning his head after sharing a kiss with his beautiful wife, Matt smiled as he then proceeded to kiss her forehead softly. "You still making up your mind?" Gabby took a breath as Matt asked her that. "I think first, I'd want my mom to go get her things." Matt looked down at Gabby as she said that, well aware of the reason why that would be the case. "Let me guess, you don't just want her to stay here during the day?" Gabby sighed as she looked down, but she had no reason to do that; rather, she could look at him and just tell him the truth. Pushing her head up, Matt smiled as he leaned in and then proceeded to kiss her softly. "How about this? We'll tell your mom to go get her things, and she can stay in the in-law suite down on the main floor?" Gabby took a breath. "Can she just stay there for good for now? That way, she can be here for us? And I you need to work…" Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that. "I love that idea. I'll go tell her okay?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before proceeding to kiss her softly. "I love you." Matt agreed.

Walking into the kitchen shortly after making his way downstairs, Matt smiled as he watched Camila putting away the groceries that he got for them. "You know that we appreciate this, right Camila?" Turning around to look at her son-in-law, Camila smiled as she agreed with him; after which, she took a breath and sighed as she could tell that he was also still hurting. Yet at the same time, he was also making jokes; which is something that she knows he's just doing so that he can put on a brave face, which she can see right through. "I hope you know that I can see right through that brave face you're putting on Matthew." Matt agreed with Camila as she said that, well aware that was the case. "Oh, I know that full well." Camila agreed with her son-in-law as he said that, before walking over to him; after which, she proceeded to hug him. "How are you doing? And not Gabby, you." Matt sighed as Camila asked him how he's doing, and specifically him. "I'm holding up." That's when Matt proceeded to walk out of the kitchen, as Andy needed to go out.

"C'mon Andy, let's go outside." Agreeing with Matt, Andy then went to walk outside so that he can go to the washroom; meanwhile, Camila turned around to look at Matt. "You look comfortable in those sweats." Matt laughed as he heard Camila say that. "I promise, I'll wear these while I'm around the house." Camila was a bit confused as she heard Matt say that, while also watching him put Andy out in the backyard. "What are you talking about? You're going to be staying upstairs." Taking a breath as he closed the door behind Andy, Matt then made his way back into the kitchen so that he could talk to Camila. "Actually, that's something that I wanted to talk to you about." Camila agreed with Matt as he said that, before looking at her son-in-law. "Is there a specific reason why you want to talk to me about something?" Matt smiled at Camila. "You know that bedroom that we have at the front of the house? Basically, a secondary primary suite bedroom?" Camila agreed with Matt as he said that. "Also known as my future bedroom?" Matt laughed.

"Yes, that's definitely what it's going to be. But I want that to be your bedroom starting tonight." Camila was confused as she heard Matt say that, unsure of what he meant. "What do you mean?" Matt sighed. "Listen, me and Gabby want to have the best of both world; we want some time alone, but we also want to have the boys nearby if that makes sense." Camila agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Well, that makes sense." Matt smiled. "So, that's why we want to offer you a chance to stay there; you can stay there, and you can watch the boys down here on the main floor. Meanwhile, me and Gabby can relax upstairs; and when we want the boys, we can come get them." Camila agreed with Matt as he said that, as that most definitely is a good idea. "I think I can agree to that, because I know that it'll help Gabby." Matt agreed with Camila as she said that, as that most definitely will be the case. I mean, of course it will; and it'll also give them a chance to just hold each other close, which is what Gabby wants.

"Listen, how about you go home and get some bags? I can take care of the groceries, and get your room ready?" Camila agreed with Matt as he said that, liking that idea; after all, that was something that they needed to do. They needed to get everything ready, so that they can make sure that Camila is comfortable when she lives here, and so that she can have the boys nearby. "Oh, we're going to keep the boys in their nurseries, okay?" Camila agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Okay, now I am going to go get my things; that way, I can take care of the boys and then make sure that you guys get the time alone that you guys need. And I am so glad that you're going to take that time alone, because you need it." Matt smiled as he heard Camila say that, before going to get close to her; after which, he hugged her and just smiled as they held each other. And let's just say that the hug that Matt got was really more of comfort, than of gratitude; and Camila knew that, because it was exactly what they both needed right now.

"Listen, get out of here and go get your things; then, we can get some time alone." Camila agreed with Matt as he said that, smiling as she proceeded to walk away so that she can get her things. Meanwhile, Matt proceeded to make his way over to the groceries again.

An Hour Later – It didn't take her long to get packed up, because she already knew that she didn't need much (for now); and that was due to the fact that Camila already had a feeling that this was going to happen, that she was going to be called to come help at their home. And the truth was, that's something that the abuela is more than okay with doing; because she knows that it's going to be something that helps her daughter, which she always wants to do. And right now, that also includes her taking care of her grandsons. But first, she needs to get her bags, which is something that Matt was not ready to let her do, not when he would rather do it for her…she's already doing enough for him and Gabby, so she has no need to do this for herself right now. Just making his way out to her car today, Matt smiled as he looked at her. "Don't you dare think that you're going to grab all of that Camila." Turning around to look at Matt, Camila smiled as she heard him say that. "Let me guess, Gabby sent you out to help me?" Matt smiled at his mother-in-law.

"No, it's because I want to be here to help; you're going to help us so much, so it's just right that I come help you." Camila agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Well, aren't you the best son-in-law in the entire world?" Matt laughed as he heard Camila say that, well aware that was the case. "Thanks Camila, I'm glad you feel that way." Walking up to his mother-in-law, Matt smiled as he proceeded to hug her. "And you are a great grandmother, and I hope you know that." Camila smiled as she heard Matt say that. "And that's not just because you're coming here to help us, because we both know that this is going to be exactly what you both need." Matt agreed with Camila as she said that, as that most definitely was the truth. He and Gabby need some time alone, so that they can grieve for the loss of one of their children. But right now, they also need some help from their son's abuela. "And I hope you know that I am going to help with the grocery expenses." Matt shook his head as he heard Camila say that.

"Nonsense, you are not going to be paying for expenses; because that's not something that I'm going to let you do, and I am going to take care of you. And that's due to the fact that you're also going to be taking care of the boys for us, and that's all the payment we need." Camila agreed with Matt as he said that, before going to hug him again; she then smiled as she leaned back and looked at him. "I swear, you really are the best man in the entire world for my daughter." Matt smiled as he heard Camila say that, before blushing. He then went to grab some of the bags, before starting to talk to her. "So listen, I already brought some of the boys' toys down into the living room; and I also set up the cribs in your room, if that's okay?" Camila agreed with Matt as he said that. "Oh, that's more than okay, and I think that will most definitely be something that you need; I can take care of them at night." Matt agreed. "And if you ever need to take a nap, we can take care of them." Camila agreed with Matt as he said that, loving that idea as they walked inside.

"Now, if Andy ever comes downstairs…" Camila agreed. "I can put him outside and take care of him for you." Matt smiled as he heard Camila say that, really glad that was the case. "I have to say, I really appreciate all you do for us Camila; and I really hope that you know that." Camila agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case; after which, they both made their way over to the door only to see Gabby there. "Here, how about you let me help a bit?" Looking at his wife, Matt took a breath. "Gabby, I got it." Gabby agreed. "You take care of the groceries, and I'll take care of getting my mom set up; the boys are already downstairs in the living room." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that he wasn't going to be able to tell her to do anything other than what she's doing. Going to grab some of her mom's bags, Gabby smiled as she kissed Matt. "I'm going upstairs after." Matt shook his head. "Wait for me, then we can lock the door behind us." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, liking that idea.

After which, she walked in and led her mom away so that she could get her set up in her room; and that's everything that they need to do, due to the fact that they just need to relax. "So, how are you doing sweetie? I think that you need to just take it easy." Gabby agreed with her mother as she said that, well aware that was the case. "I know, and I promise that I'm going to take it easy; and it's all thanks to you." Camila smiled as she heard Gabby tell her that, glad that they are going to relax. "All that matters at the end of the day is that you relax, and that you get a chance to grieve; this is what you need, and I am going to make sure that you do that." Gabby smiled as she heard her mother say that, as she knows that she's going to get a chance to do that thanks to her mother. "I'm glad that you're going to let us do that. You truly are the best mom." Camila smiled as she heard her daughter tell her that, just happy that they're going to be able to relax; and she also loves the sight in front of her, the room that she's going to be staying in.

"This is my room?" Gabby agreed with her mom as she asked her whether this is the room that she's going to be staying in, because it most certainly is; setting her bags down on her bed, Gabby smiled. "I already got some towels out, and your bathroom is over there. You have a private bathroom. I have the kids' cribs right there, including their blankets and everything…" Camila then proceeded to stop her daughter, not needing to hear it. "Hey, Gabby…look at me." Turning to look at her mother as she said that, Gabby agreed; after which, Camila got close to her and went to grab her hands. "How are you feeling sweetie? Talk to me." Gabby sighed as her mom asked her how she's doing, before moving to pull a strand of hair behind her ear. "I'm still dealing with it, and I thought I'd be okay; that's why I thought that I could do this without you but…" Camila then got close to her daughter, and just hugged her; and let's just say that she really hates to see her in pain. "Gabby, you can cry; it's okay, you can cry." Gabby agreed with her mom as she said that, taking a breath.. "And I think that's why I really need to have time alone with Matt, I need to be alone with my loving husband."

Camila smiled as she heard Gabby say that, well aware that was the case. "And you're going to get that time, because it's what you need. You need to relax, and you need to just take it easy with your loving husband." Gabby smiled as she heard her mother say that, as that most definitely is exactly what she needs. She needs to be alone with the man she loves, and she needs to hold him close in bed. "I just hope you know that I can always help with the boys if you need anything, and we are still parents." Camila agreed with her daughter as she said that, well aware that was the case. "Hey, I know that Gabby; but I don't want you to have to worry about that, because that's not something that you need to worry about. You need to take it easy, and you need to relax. And that's what I'm going to do today, which is just what you're going to do; now, please just go upstairs and relax. I can take care of getting everything else ready." Gabby agreed with her mother as she said that, smiling as she was really happy right now. And she loves her family.

"How did I get the best family in the entire world?" Camila laughed, smiling at her daughter once again; after which, she proceeded to hug Gabby again. "I'm so sorry about all of this, and I want you to go lay down. So please, go do that for me sweetheart." Gabby agreed with her mother as she said that, letting her go. "How about first, we bring you to the boys? Then I'll go upstairs." Camila laughed a bit, and just agreed before walking out of her room with Gabby to go see the boys in the living room.
