Hi Readers: Sorry for the delay in getting his chapter out, but I ended up taking a quick nap after getting up early to watch the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camila; and that was a nice one, because it gave me some ideas for the story. Hope you like the ideas that I have decided to write for you, and where I'm going to take this story; please let me know what you think.
Chapter One Hundred and Seventy-One
Time to Get Comfortable, Relax, and Grieve
He just finished unpacking the groceries, which meant that he had everything done; all of the tasks that he had to do prior to them making their way back upstairs, and just going to relax together…in their bedroom, probably being very intimate with each other. And that's definitely something that Camila is well aware of, as she looked at her daughter and son-in-law. "So, I can only assume that there's one rule when it comes to where I can go in the house with the boys?" Turning to look at her mom as he said that, Gabby was confused as she didn't know what her mother meant. "What do you mean mom?" Camila smiled at her daughter, as she knew that she was playing dumb. "I think we both know WHERE I'm talking about Gabriela, we all do." Turning to look at Gabby, Matt smirked as he proceeded to kiss her forehead softly, which is something that Gabby most definitely did like, because it was the best feeling in the entire world. The feeling of her loving husband holding her close, as he kissed her forehead softly. "It's not all we're doing." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I know exactly what you mean, because I want you to hold me close as we try and deal with this." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, while her mother just looked at her grieving daughter.
After which, she walked up to her once again so that she could hug her. "I'm sorry once again Gabby." Gabby agreed with her mom as she said that, well aware that was the case. "I know you are mom, and I am just glad that you're going to take care of the boys for us." Camila agreed with her beautiful daughter as she said that, more than ready to do just that for her; especially since it's something that she can't wait to do, spend some quality time with her grandchildren. "Gabby, I know that you need to have some time with your husband, and this is also something that I'm happy to do for my own sake; I mean, what grandmother doesn't want to spend time with her grandchildren?" Gabby laughed as she heard her mom say that, well aware that was the case. "If you need anything…." Camila then proceeded to stop her daughter, as she didn't want her to have to worry about their kids; she's going to take care of them, and she means everything. She doesn't want Gabby to have to worry about anything, other than just recovering from this tragedy that they're still dealing with, which is something that she means from the bottom of her heart, and will always mean. "Gabby, please do not worry about that. You need to go relax, and you need to just spend time with Matt." Camila then turned to look at Matt.
Smiling at her son-in-law, she walked up to him. "Please, make sure that she takes it easy and relaxes; she needs to relax, and you both need to grieve together. And I do not want you to have to feel like you need to come down here and help, because I can always call Ramon if I need help." Gabby bit her lip as she heard her mom say that, a bit nervous. "Mom, you don't have to if…" Camila then proceeded to stop her from talking. "Gabriela, me and your father can behave for the sake of our grandchildren; and you know that, because we just did it a week ago on Thanksgiving…and we're going to do it again on Christmas, because that's a day where you aren't going to get away with staying alone." Gabby laughed as she heard her mom say that, well aware that was the case. "And maybe then, you can take the boys while we celebrate our last New Year's Eve ahead of the girls." Camila smiled as she heard Gabby say that, as she loves that idea. "I think I can." Matt then turned to look at Gabby. "Actually, my mom and Christie are going to be here; and I was thinking of asking her to stay, maybe let her stay at the penthouse if we want to live here." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that. "Maybe we can talk about that when we're in the bedroom?" Matt shook his head. "Today, we're going to concentrate…."
Gabby then looked at her husband, trying to give him the message that he's yet to receive (apparently); and that's when Matt (finally) got said message. And what she was trying to tell him, was that she wanted to talk about things; as a way to distract herself, and just think about anything other than the fact that she just miscarried. "Okay, we can talk about that; I promise Gabby." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, glad that was the case; after all, she knows that Matt's going to do whatever he can to make sure that she feels better. It's something that he's done ever since they learned the news, and she truly feels extremely lucky over the fact that he's her husband; and she just loves him so much, and she's ready to have him to herself. Getting close to Gabby again, Matt smiled as he wrapped his arm around her and then pressed his lips to her forehead. "You ready to go relax in bed with each other?" Looking up at the man she loves, Gabby agreed as she most definitely is ready to go to bed. "See you guys later mom." Camila agreed with her daughter as she said that, well aware that she wants to be alone; at the same time, Gabby proceeded to grab Matt's hand.
At the same time, Matt intertwined their fingers and stroked it with his thumb; after which, he pressed his lips to the side of her head. "You want to talk about that, don't you?" Gabby took a breath as Matt asked her that, because she still has a lot on her mind. "I know, we shouldn't try and think about other things but…" Matt shook his head as he heard Gabby say that, before turning to face his wife; after which, he got close to her and just held Gabby's hand. "Hey, take a breath and look at me." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before going to put her hand on his chest. At the same time, Gabby smiled as she looked up at the man she loves; after which, Matt moved his hand to her neck and bent down to kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Matt smiled at her; after which, he kissed her hand and just held her close. "Listen, I promise that we're going to talk about it." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Good, because that's something that she wants to do; she wants to talk to him." Taking a breath as she wrapped her arms around Matt's bicep, Gabby laid her head down on his arm as she rubbed it; after which, she spoke to her husband. "I want to talk, because I think that's something that we really haven't done yet. I mean, yes; we've talked…
Taking a breath, Gabby then continued. "…but we've really just been dancing around some of the topics that we both know that we need to talk about. And that's something that we can really do, now that we don't have the boys with us." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case as they both started to make their way up the stairs so that they can go to their room. "And I promise that we're going to do just that; and that I'm going to take care of you and give you exactly what you need." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "I just hope you know that is not going to include sexual time." Stopping on the stairs, Matt was shocked as he turned his head. "Hey, where did that come from?" Gabby took a breath as she looked at Matt, who soon got nice and close to her; putting his hand on her neck, he smiled. After which, he bent down and proceeded to kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with his girl, Matt smiled at her. "I love you, and I want you to know that baby; and I am not going to have sex with you, not when we both know that's something that you don't need right now. That, and you need to digest your food first." Gabby laughed a bit as she heard Matt say that, well aware that was the case. "And I want you to rest, and just cuddle up to me. We don't need to rush…"
Nodding, Gabby looked at the man she loves (while also continuing to listen to him). "…and we can just take it easy with each other; that's the real reason that we asked your mom to come here, because we need time together." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case; after which, she proceeded to hug the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. After all, this is everything that they both want to do right now; they want to hold each other close, and they want to just relax together. And the truth is, there's nothing like the both of them going to relax with each other; and that's due to the fact that they need to do it, for the sake of their emotional health. Matt knows full well that Gabby is quite emotional right now, and that she just needs to let it out. "I hope you know that you can let your tears out with me Gabby." Gabby took a breath, and just agreed with Matt as he said that; after all, she knew that was the real reason that Matt wanted her mom to take care of the boys. He wanted her to let the tears flow.
And she'll do just that, just as soon as they're upstairs with each other…we're going to have time.
It's what they want to have, time; it's what they need to have with each other. Time, it's what they now have thanks to Gabby's mother. Thanks to her offering to watch the boys for them, as long as they need her to; especially since it means that it's going to give Matt and Gabby a chance to do what they need to do, they need to grieve for their late son…Jackson David Casey. And that's something that Matt is so grateful to his mother-in-law for, for her being here; for her having came here, so that she can watch Matteo and Noah for her them. That way, they'll be able to just take it easy with each other; and they'll be able to enjoy each other, but not too much. But what Matt didn't know, was just what type of time he and Gabby were going to have with each other (just as soon as they finish having some lunch together). And just what might they be having for lunch? Well, they're going to be enjoying some turkey sandwiches. Turkey sandwiches which Matt made specifically for him and Gabby, as he just wants to have something quick with her.
Speed: That's how they need to do all of the things they need to do right now, so that they can get in bed with each other; that way, Matt can do exactly what he needs to do for his wife. He needs to get in bed with her, and he needs to just hold her close to his chest; and he can't wait to do that, mostly because of what Gabby is wearing. But at the same time, Matt couldn't help but wonder if there's a reason why Gabby is wearing the outfit that she's currently wearing for him; the outfit being some lingerie, which hugs her body.
Hugs: The lingerie that was hugging her body is perfect, and it just looks so damn beautiful on her; especially when she also has her hands on her baby bump, which is just growing each and every day. And when Matt says that he really likes the sight of that, well that's an understatement; and just because he's grieving, that doesn't mean that he's going to stop being turned on by his wife wearing lingerie for him. Lingerie like the garment that she's currently in the midst of wearing because it's absolutely stunning.
Intimacy: That's what that undergarment is going to lead towards, as a way for Matt to give his beautiful wife some comfort; he just doesn't yet know what that means, and whether it means that they're going to get intimate with each other. But no, he's not talking about sex; rather, he's talking about something else. Rather, he's talking about them taking a bath with each other; because that most definitely is something that will help calm Gabby down and lower the tension in between the both of them.
Okay, maybe not tension in between the both of them; because there isn't any tension in between the both of them, as they are not mad with each other. Nor are they in the midst of fighting with each other because they're not doing that, as that was the last thing that they wanted to do with each other, because Matt is just so worried about his wife right now. Worried about how she's doing right now, and how her mental health is doing right now; and that's based on what he's read, both online and in some of the pamphlets that Natalie gave him after they learned the news. And after reading them, Matt could just see that they were so true; the pamphlets perfectly described what was going on right now, and that was a sense of confusion. A sense of loss, while also being happy. That has to be some of the hardest feelings that Gabby is dealing with right now, as she's happy that she's pregnant with their twin daughters; because that's still what she wants to be, she still wants to be pregnant with their twin daughters….and always will.
And this is just something that's going to be really hard on his wife, he can already see that it's still hard on her right now; and that's the real reason that Matt is grateful that they're getting this time alone, because it means that he and Gabby are going to be able to relax with each other. And it means that he's going to be able to give Gabby the comfort that she needs from him, which starts right now; because even though Matt just got up here, he was already a bit happy due to the fact that he was alone with the woman he loves. And now, he's just going to get time to make his wife happy; just as soon as Matt sets their sandwiches down on the bed. Doing just that, Matt smiled as he looked at his beautiful wife; after which, he made his way back to the door to their bedroom so that he could close it. That way, he and Gabby truly are alone with each other; and then, they can start the other things that they need to do with each other. The things that they need to do for the sake of Gabby feeling better, so that they both feel better today.
They need to take it easy: By taking it easy, they'll breathe; and they'll relax in each other's arms, while they talk to each other. Because that's exactly what they need to do, they need to relax and just hold each other close.
Holding and Consoling: if Gabby needs to cry, then she most definitely can and SHOULD cry in his arms; and if that's something she plans on doing today, then she doesn't even need to tell him about ahead of time. Rather, she can just do it.
And that's because it's going to be part of his job today, to be there for her (as they grieve). But that still doesn't mean (like Matt said above) that he doesn't plan on being a bit intimate with her, because he does want to run his hands all over her body; and god, is he going to enjoy that. But first, he might want to get undressed; that way, they can get right in bed with each other and hold each other close. Making his way over to his dresser, Matt smiled as he proceeded to take off his shorts this morning; folding them up shortly afterwards, Matt smiled as he looked at his beautiful wife once again. Because even though they're taking this time to grieve with each other, that doesn't mean that Matt doesn't like the sight of his wife in front of him; especially when she's so damn beautiful. He truly believes that she's the most beautiful woman in the entire world, and that's just one of the reasons that he's extremely proud to call Gabby his wife. I mean, she's also pretty brilliant; because she's done a great job, with the preliminary-partially final ELLA designs.
And that's something that Gabby should really be proud of, the work that came out ELLA Apparel; and the first release next year. Yes, you heard that right; ELLA Apparel is going to be releasing next year, and Matt is incredibly proud of her. And He's wondering whether that's a topic that they can talk about today, while they cuddle up to each other in bed, which is exactly what they're going to do, starting right now. But first, he needs to get her back into the bedroom; because that was not where she was right now. Rather, she was currently on the back porch; and that was where he was going to be in a moment, just as soon as he was undressed. After all, that was what Gabby wanted to right now; she wanted him to be undressed, and she wants to hold him close. And let's just say that he wants to do the same thing, because it's quite sexy; the way it feels when it comes them having skin-to-skin time, which they always have when they're in bed with each other (because they wear lingerie and boxers, respectively). And that's always a lot of fun.
The feeling of his hands on her skin, well that's just something that Gabby will always enjoy; because it's one of his (quiet) ways to show her that he loves her. Yes, she considers it a way for him to show her that he loves her; and that's something that Matt knows full well, and that's why they both hold each other close so often. And it's something that they'll always do, whenever they hold each other close; especially when Matt's consoling his wife, in nothing but his boxers. Taking off his shirt so that he was just wearing his boxers (like Gabby wanted him to do), Matt then proceeded to fold it up and then set it down on top of his shorts, which now meant that he was clad in nothing but his boxers, and on his way to be with Gabby on the back porch (that was attached to their home). Then, they would make their way back inside; and they would also have lunch, which is something that Matt needs. He needs to eat, and so does Gabby; and that's due to the fact that she's pregnant, and just ready to relax. And so does Andy, as he's a bit excited.
Just looking down at his dog, Matt shook his head and just smiled at him. "Calm down boy." Walking over to his bed, Andy agreed and then went to lay down; meanwhile, Matt proceeded to make his way over to the window so that he can hold Gabby close.
Walking up behind Gabby at the window shortly after making his way over to her, Matt smiled as he moved his hands to her hips and brought her body back against his chest. After all, that's exactly what he wants to do right now; he wants to hold the woman he loves close to her, and he just wants to make sure that the two of them relax. And the truth was, that's exactly what Gabby wants too; because it's so comfortable, and extremely comforting. And that's exactly how Matt wants Gabby to feel right now, he wants her to feel comfortable; and he also wants her to feel happy, which is most definitely how she feels right now. And that's simply because she's being held close by the man of her dreams, regardless of whether she was facing him or not; especially as he was also putting his hands on her stomach, which is where their daughters are currently growing inside of her. Moving her hands to his, Gabby smiled as she leaned back and cuddled up to Matt; at the same time, Matt bent down and proceeded to kiss the side of her neck.
Smiling as she felt his lips on her neck, Gabby couldn't help but feel a bit happy right now; even if she was still grieving, it was nice. It was so nice to feel him holding her close, because it already made her feel better; especially when he bent down to kiss her shoulder, which was another one of the ways that Matt showed her that he loves her (something which is most definitely the truth). After which, he proceeded to turn his head and whispered in her ear. "Hi." Laughing as she heard Matt say that, Gabby turned around in his arms and then got close to him; at the same time, Matt put his hands on her stomach as they held each other close. Moving her hands to Matt's chest, Gabby looked up into his eyes; at the same time, Matt moved his hand to the side of her face and just smiled as he stroked her cheek. After which, he took things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. Moving her hands down Matt's chest, Gabby took a breath and pulled away; at the same time, Matt moved his hand to her neck.
He then got close to her and pressed his lips to her forehead softly. At the same time, Gabby looked up at the best husband in the entire world; the man she loves more than anything in the entire world, Mr. Matthew James Casey. At the same time, Matt moved his hand to the side of her face and just kissed her again, taking things nice and slow with his beautiful wife. He then decided that he was going to do something quite sexy, picking her up in his arms before cradling her; smiling as Matt did that, Gabby wrapped her arms around his neck and just started to take things nice and slow with the man she loves. "I am so glad that you did that, but I also feel a bit selfish when it comes to me smiling like this." Matt shook his head as he heard Gabby say that she feels selfish when it comes to her smiling, as she has absolutely no reason to feel guilty (or selfish) when it comes to her wanting to smile; and that was something that he was going to tell Gabby when they're in bed with each other, as they talk to each other and just hold each other close.
Carrying his girl right over to their bed this morning, Matt couldn't help but smile as she cuddled up to him; after all, it was exceptionally comfortable…and exactly how he wanted to feel as he holds the woman he loves in his arms, just like he is right now.
