Chapter One Hundred and Seventy-Seven
Change of Plans, after a Drama-Filled Dream

Three hours, thirty-seven minutes, and forty-nine seconds (and counting). That's how long it's been since Gabby said those faithful words that changed everything, that changed all of the plans that they made with her family; the plans where they would spend time downstairs with them, with their boys. And it was all because of nine words, that's all it took for Matt to know that this was the right more; that it was wise for them to spend more time alone with each other, rather than stay downstairs with the kids. So, they can talk…about those nine words that she mentioned to him downstairs, in front of the rest of their family, which led to them being alone.

"In my dream, I lost all of the babies."

The moment that Gabby said those nine worlds, their family knew that they were not going to be spending the night with them; rather, they're going to be spending time (with each other) in their bedroom. And that was something that Matt was more than okay with doing, because it will allow Matt to do what he needs to do for his wife; he needs to hold her close, and he needs to make her feel better. Especially when it's related to their daughters, and their late son; and the statement that Gabby said downstairs, related to the idea that they may have lost all of their children. And that most definitely is something that means that they need to talk. They need to talk to each other, and they need to relax with each other in bed; while Matt holds the woman he loves in his arms, and just makes sure that they both take it easy with each other. And that means that they are not going to do anything sexual, under any circumstances; because Gabby needs comfort from him right now, she doesn't need any sexual time with the man of her dreams.

And that's something that Matt knew, as he walked into the bathroom this evening; only to see Gabby standing in some sexy lingerie that she was wearing for him. And that was something that actually confused him, as he didn't think that she would want to be wearing something like this for him. "What are you wearing?" Looking up at Matt as he tugged down the t-shirt that he was in the midst of putting on, on top of his boxers; Gabby took a breath and smiled, hoping that Matt liked it. Yet, it seems like Matt isn't liking the sight of her wearing this lingerie. "Do you not like the lingerie?" Looking at his wife as she said that, Matt was absolutely horrified that she would even think that way; that she would think that he didn't like the sight of her wearing lingerie for him, just because they were in here so that he could make her feel better. "Oh my god, that's not at all what I said baby; I hope you know that." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. God, she really hates these emotions; and all of those hormones, which hurt.

These hormones are just making her emotions go all over the place, which is the last thing that she wants to happen right now; she doesn't want her hormones to cloud this conversation that they're going to have tonight, because that's not fair to Matt. And that's due to the fact that he must have some hard feelings about this, which has to be related to his PTSD as well; god, that's something else that she's even more worried about. Whether that statement she just made would cause him to have more PTSD, not that she should be thinking about that right now as Matt walked up behind her and put his hands on her hips. At the same time, Matt smirked as he looked at the woman he loves in the mirror; before bending down and leaving a soft kiss on her shoulder. "Baby, I want you to listen to me right now. I never want you to think that I don't like the sight of you wearing this lingerie, I'm just shocked that you're wearing it; not when you have so much on your mind right now." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, returning to that statement she said.

"In my dream, I lost all of the babies."

After all, that statement has been replaying in her statement; ever since she said it out loud, which is another thing that Matt knows. He knows that Gabby is still thinking about that dream, and the statement that he told her; after which, Matt bent down and kissed her shoulder once again (while wrapping his arms around her). At the same time, Gabby put her hands on his arms as they both started to hold each other close. Turning his head, Matt smiled as he bent down and kissed her neck softly. "Gabby, what's the real reason for you to be wearing this? I want you to be honest with me, and we can talk about it." Turning around in Matt's arms, Gabby took a breath as she looked up at the man she loves; after which, Matt wrapped his arms around her and just got close to her. He then leaned in and proceeded to press his lips to her forehead. At the same time, Gabby put her hands on his arms and just held him close. After which, Gabby looked up at the man she loves. "I want you to give me attention to change my mind, to make me forget it."

Moving his hand to Gabby's neck, Matt already knew what she wanted to forget; she wanted to forget about the dream, and she wanted to make sure that they can get past this. After which, Matt bent down and proceeded to kiss her softly; moving her hand to Matt's chest after he kissed her, just taking things nice and slow with the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. "God, how did you know that's something that I needed right now?" Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before moving his hands to her hips; at the same time, Gabby moved her hands to his chest as they held each other close. "Because I know you Gabby, and I know that you need to be alone with me; and I know that you just talk to me. I want you to know that you can talk to me and tell me the truth when it comes to what's going on in your head." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I know baby." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before moving to put his hand on her neck again; before kissing her softly.

Taking things nice and sow with the woman of his dreams, Matt smirked due to the fact that they are both extremely happy to be holding each other close right now. "I'm at least happy that we're alone right now, as we're going to make sure that we feel better after tonight." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case; after which, she got close to him before going to hug him. Rubbing her arms, Matt smiled as he kissed her forehead softly as they both held each other close. Moving his hands to her waist afterwards, Matt smiled as he looked down at his beautiful wife; after which, he smiled as he bent down and kissed her softly. At the same time, Gabby ran her hand up his chest and took things nice and slow with the man of her dreams; whom she loves more than anything in the entire world. "Did I ever tell you that you're the man of my dreams?" Matt smiled, agreeing with his beautiful wife. "Of course, you have Gabby, and I love you too." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that's the case.

At the same time, Matt pressed his lips against her forehead as they both held each other close; he then looked down into her eyes, and smirked as he bent down and kissed her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman of his dreams, Matt smirked due to the fact that he knew where this may lead them; at least, if he keeps going like this. "We need to calm down." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before grabbing his shirt; after which, she tugged on it. "Let me guess, you want my to take off my shirt?" Gabby took a breath. "I don't know what I want. I just…" Matt smiled at Gabby, before bending down and kissing her softly. "You already brush your teeth?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he asked her whether she already brushed her teeth, as she was done getting ready for bed. "How about you go lay down in bed? Then, I'll come join you; and we can hold each other close." Gabby agreed with Matt, liking that idea. After all, that's exactly what they both want to do; they want to hold each other close in bed, and just take it easy.

"Or you can sit on the couch, I am leaving it up to you." Gabby shook her head, as she leaned up and kissed Matt softly; after which, he took things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you, and I want you to go relax; okay?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, ready to go relax and take it easy with her loving husband, because that's exactly what she needs to do with him right now. She needs to go lay down in bed, and she just needs to relax with the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. "Where am I going to find you?" Gabby smiled as she proceeded to grab his hand, after which she looked up into his eyes. "I'm going to go lay down in bed." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before getting close to her; after which, he moved his hands to her neck. Pushing her head up, Matt smiled as he bent down and proceeded to kiss his beautiful wife softly. Wrapping her arms around Matt's back, Gabby smirked as she took things nice and slow with the man of her dreams, Matt Casey.

Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that. "Think about what you want while I'm brushing my teeth, and I can get changed on my way out." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before smiling at him as she wrapped her arms around him again; slipping her hands up his shirt, Gabby smiled due to the fact that this is exactly what she wants right now. More specifically, she wants him to take off his shirt; as she wants to cuddle up to him shirtless, especially when she's just wearing lingerie. And she wants him to be shirtless too because he's a real hunk; he's so muscular, and his arms around her is exactly what she wants. "I'm going to turn the movies on, and you can get ready for bed; take off your shirt on the way to bed, as I want you to be shirtless as we cuddle up to each other." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, having already predicted that he was going to be taking off his shirt; so, he decided to do it for her right now. Going to take off his shirt, Matt smirked. "Don't worry, the lingerie will stay on." Gabby laughed, slapping his chest.

"Calm down Mr. Casey, because you aren't getting anything." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that's the case. "Hey, I have no plans for us to get intimate with each other; you need to relax, and we both need to relax." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before smiling as he proceeded to grab his hand; after which, she got close to him and smiled as she leaned up to kiss him softly. Just taking things nice and slow with the man of her dreams, Gabby smirked due to the fact that this really is everything that they both want to do right now. They want to hold each other close, and they want to have fun with each other, which is everything that they're going to do tonight. "Listen, go relax and lay down; okay?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, grabbing his hand again so that she can go lay down in bed; meanwhile, Matt watched her walk away as she is very sexy…especially when she's wearing that lingerie. However, he also knows that she's putting on a brave face, which means that she's just trying to show him she's happy.

Whether that's the truth of the matter, he doesn't know; but he just hopes that she can talk to him and let him know what the truth is. How she's really feeling, and how he can help her. If that's what she needs to do, then he's going to make sure that it happens. He's going to make sure that they hold each other close, and that they relax together; that they take it easy together, that they breathe and just relax with each other. Because at the end of the day, that's what they need to do. They need to relax, and they need to just hold each other close. They need to relax, and they need to hold each other close tonight (and for the rest of the night).

Walking out of the bathroom shortly after getting ready for bed, Matt smiled at the sight of his beautiful wife laying down in their bed; just waiting for him to join her, like she always does at night. Well, if she's the one that's in bed first, which she (nine times out of ten) is, due to the fact that she's the one that's much more tired. She's the one who's pregnant with their daughters, and that means that she's much more tired on a regular basis. However, that isn't the case for him; as he has more energy to use up, mostly by taking Andy out to go to the washroom. God, that service dog of his really does need a lot of attention; and he also needs a lot of energy. And that's something that he's going to have much less of when they have the girls, which he's more than ready to meet; god, just the idea of him being able to hold his daughter on his chest makes him smile. But at the same time, it makes him sad; as he knows that there was also a chance for him to hold a newborn baby boy again, a chance that won't happy because of circumstances you're aware of.

But Matt's made peace with the situation, as he knows that he can't go back and change anything about it now; rather, he can just live in the moment and make sure that he takes care of his family. The family he loves more than anything in the entire world, starting with his beautiful wife, Ms. Gabriela Casey. And god, the way she's laying down in bed right now; well, that's just something that really makes him smile. And Matt can only imagine that she's well aware of. Turning her head to look at Matt, Gabby smirked as she could see that Matt was liking the sight that was in front of him; the sight of her in bed, just laying down like this…ahead of the two of them cuddling up to each other in bed. And that's something that Gabby is more than ready to do with the man she loves, cuddle up to him in bed as they hold each other close, which is everything that they both want to do right now. They want to cuddle up to each other, and they want to hold each other close in bed. "You ready to get in bed with me?" Matt snickered and agreed with his wife.

"Is it that obvious that I'm ready to get in bed with you?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he asked her whether it's THAT obvious that he's ready to get in bed with her, because it is quite obvious, for the simple fact that he's basically ogling at her. He's staring at her, as she wears the lingerie (which she's wearing on purpose). And that purpose would be to make him get in bed with her and hold her close to him for the rest of the day; until they fall asleep, in each other's arms. That's what they both want to do tonight, they want to hold each other until they fall asleep in each other's arms; anyways, what's better than that? "Yes, yes it is. Matt, you're staring at me in my lingerie." Matt agreed with Gabby as she mentioned that he's staring at her in her lingerie, but can you blame him? His wife is gorgeous, and she's wearing some lingerie for him, which is why he actually made his way over to her side of their bed, rather than go to his side of the bed. That way, he can sit down next to her. "Oh, does someone want to sit right next to me tonight?"

Matt agreed with Gabby as she asked him whether he wants to be right next to her, because he wants her to be in the center of their bed; that's where he always wants her to sleep, especially the further along she gets into the pregnancy. If she's in the center of their bed, then there's less risk of her falling out of bed. Yes, is the chance of her falling out of bed low? Of course, it is. But that doesn't mean that Matt still doesn't want to protect her from the chance of her falling out of their bed, because he does; he doesn't want to take any risks when it comes to her pregnancy, for the rest of the time that she's pregnant….and he also doesn't want her to climb out of the bed without letting him know. If she doesn't let him know that she's out of bed, that means that she can let her head spin for hours; and that means that she can think of bad things. "It also means that you're stuck in bed with me tonight, and you can't get out." Gabby took a breath as she heard Matt say that, well aware of the reason why that was going to be the case; because she knows him.

Matt doesn't want her to get out of bed, and he doesn't want her to go wandering around the house; where she'll take the time to think, because that's what she always does in the middle of the night (if she's awake). "You know me too well." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case; setting his phone down on his charger, Matt then smiled as he looked at the woman he loves (while standing next to their bed). And while he was ready to get in bed, that didn't mean that he was done everything that he had to do before he got in bed; rather, he still had to do one more thing. Getting close to the side of the bed, he watched as Gabby slipped over in bed; however, that was the last thing that he wanted to do. And that's why he went ahead and stopped her. "Hey, not yet." Gabby was confused as she heard Matt say that, before watching as he just got close to her side of the bed. After which, he smiled as he looked at the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world.

Sitting down next to her on their bed, Matt smiled as he looked at the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world; and that was the only thing that Gabby needed to see, to know exactly what that last thing he had to do (before he got in bed). And that was give her (and their daughters) a kiss, which she loves the idea of. Getting close to her man, Gabby smiled as she felt him put his hand on her stomach. At the same time, she put her hand on his and just smirked as she looked up at the man of her dreams, who soon leaned over her, and moved his hand to her neck. Bending down, Matt smirked as he started to take things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I love you too, and I am so glad that we're taking this time alone with each other; because we most definitely need it." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, as they most definitely do need to spend time with each other.

Leaning over her again, Matt smirked as he took things nice and slow with the woman of his dreams; whom he just wants to make feel better, which is exactly what he's in the midst of doing. "Tomorrow, we're going to take the day alone again; maybe we can go to the beach, or something?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before moving her hand to his neck. "I know, it's what we need to do." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that because that was right now. "Yes, we do need to be alone with each other; and we need to make sure that we both feel better, because we both know that you need time with me." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, just smiling as she watched him lean over her; kissing her softly, Matt smiled as he took things nice and slow with the woman of his dreams. The woman he loves more than anything in the entire world, his beautiful wife, and the mother of his children; the only woman that he can ever see himself be married to, and the only woman he can see himself having children with.

And that's why Matt's more than ready to just hold her close to him, to make her feel better; to make sure that she's held, and to make sure that they take it easy with each other. Because that's everything they both need right now, they need to relax; and they just need to take it easy with each other. "How are you feeling right now?" Gabby smiled as Matt asked her how she's feeling right now. "I'm feeling good, and I'm glad that we're alone right now." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case. "What do you say I get in bed with you now? That way, we can hold each other close; and we can relax?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before smiling as she moved so that he can get in bed; at the same time, Matt got up once again so that he can get in bed with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. And that's going to be nice, as they want to hold each other close; and it'll allow Gabby to relax, and just take things easy. It'll allow her to breathe, and it'll allow her to grieve some more.

Because that's something that Matt thinks that she needs to do more of, or she just needs to hold the woman he loves close to her; he doesn't care what he has to do, as long as they both hold each other close…and they relax in each other's arms. Just getting close to his beautiful wife, Matt smirked due to the fact that he knew that this is everything that they both want to do right now. They want to hold each other close, and they just want to take it easy with each other. But that truth is, what's better than the two of them just hold each other close; and relaxing in bed. Sure, does Matt want this to be the reason why they're in bed with each other; because Gabby needs to be help, so that he can make her feel better? Of course not. He'd rather be holding her, so that he can just make her feel happy, which is something that Gabby always feels, when she lays down in his arms. And god, this is always comfortable; when they're in bed, holding each other close right now. They're holding each other close, and just taking it easy with each other.

But now, it's just time to relax and hold each other. "Come here beautiful." Gabby laughed as she heard Matt say that, before getting nice and close to the man she loves more than anything in the entire world; after which, she wrapped her arms around him. Matt then proceeded to tug the covers up on top of the both of them, moving his hand to her back; while also going to grab the remote, so that Gabby can choose the show that they're going to watch today. "Do you want to pick the show?" Smiling as she looked up at the man she loves, Gabby shook her head. "Just put it on the Hallmark Channel, and I'll be happy." Matt agreed with Gabby as she told him that the TV just needed to be on the Hallmark Channel, and that will make him happy, which is something that he most definitely understands, and is also something that he's more than happy to do for the rest of his life. Turning his head, Matt just smirked as he bent down and kissed the top of his beautiful wife's head this evening. "I love you Gabby." Gabby agreed with Matt.

"I love you too Matt, and I am so glad that this is what we're in the mist of doing; now, let's just relax and take it easy for the rest of the night." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before turning her head and bending down so that he could kiss the top of her head; that way, they can just relax and hold each other close…and that's all she needs to do right now. She just needs to hold her husband close to her, and she needs to relax in his arms; for the rest of the night, until they fell asleep in each other's arms.
