Chapter One Hundred and Eighty-Seven
Comforting Cuddles, Questions, and a Hot Bath

"Do you think me working on the company, was my way of trying to change my mind? And to try and distract myself from the grief of loosing another baby?" -Matthew Casey

To say that question didn't cross Gabby's mind, as to why Matt worked today (against what he originally planned to do); well, that would be a lie. Rather, that was question that did cross Gabby's mind when it came to why he was working today; rather than cuddling up to her in bed, just like they were in the midst of doing right now. What they should've been doing while Matt was working, rather than him being away from her. Maybe if he was working in bed, then she would've been okay with that; but him working away from her was not something that she was okay with, as she didn't want him to be anywhere other than with her in bed right now. She wants to hold the man she loves close to her, and she wants to make sure that they relax with each other. That they hold each other close, and that they take it easy with each other; because that's what they need to do with each other, and boy was she glad that they were in the midst of doing it right now…but just not in silence, as she knew that Matt was waiting for her to give him an answer today.

And that's why she felt horrible that she was still quiet, as she knew that Matt wanted her to talk to him; that he wanted to get an answer to his question, and she just wishes that she could give him that answer already. "Sorry I'm taking so long to answer your question." Moving his hand to Gabby's back, Matt shook his head while also stroking it with his thumb; at the same time, he turned his head and then kissed the top of hers. He then decided to move his lips to her forehead and kissed it once again; but he didn't just do it once, but he ended up deciding to leave his lips there, as he knew that he would have to give Gabby's forehead another kiss soon. "It's okay Gabby." And just like he expected, Matt then went ahead and kissed her forehead again. "You need to take some time to think about what's going on, and what you want to tell me." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "Maybe we can start with what you're thinking? Whether you think that's what you were doing; because at the end of the day, only you know why you did it." Matt agreed.

Taking a breath as he ran his hand up and down Gabby's back, Matt proceeded to stroke her back once again; turning his head again, Matt bent down and kissed the top of her head. "Did you working change your mind? Make you think of something else?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she asked him whether him working changed his mind, as it most definitely did change his mind; it allowed him to concentrate on something else, allowed him to concentrate on his work, and just doing some things that might make his plans to build his company forward. "I guess, one way it helped was that it distracted me." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before laying her head down on his heart. "Then I think that's exactly what you did. You did some work so that you could change your mind, and so that you could just think about something that's been a constant in our lives since we started it; the company is something that you know is always going to be there, unlike me." Matt was shocked as he heard Gabby say that, as that was not the truth.

"Hey, where did that come from?" Looking up at the man she loves, Gabby took a breath as it was the truth; she wasn't always there for him, especially when she left him so that she could run away from their marriage. "Matt, you already know when I'm talking about; we're talking about when I ran away to go to Puerto Rico." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case. "But we also agreed that you going to Puerto Rico may have also saved our marriage, as it gave us a time to breathe and just relaxed; it reminded us just how much we wanted to be with each other, and just how much we wanted to be with each other." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I know, we shouldn't always go back to this; and I think that I just need to drop it but…" Moving his finger under her chin, Matt pushed Gabby's head up and then bent down so that he could kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Matt smirked due to the fact that he was glad that they were here.

That they were holding each other close, and that they were in the midst of relaxing with each other, which is everything that they need to do right now, as they cuddle up to each other. They needed to hold each other close, and they needed to figure this out together. "I just hate that I want to think about this now, when we're dealing with something else." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before bending down so that he could kiss the top of her head; after which, he looked down at the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. Meanwhile, Gabby looked up at Matt and just smiled due to the fact that this is everything that they both wanted to do right now. He wants to hold Gabby in his arms, and he just wants to just relax with the woman he loves for the rest of the day; after which, Matt wrapped his arm around her lower back and then bent down so that he could kiss Gabby once again. Just taking things nice and slow with his beautiful wife, Matt smiled due to the fact that he was glad that they were doing this right now.

He then ran his hand up and down her back, so that they can just hold each other close and relax right now; after all, that's exactly what they both want to do. They want to relax with each other, while Matt leaves some soft kisses on her forehead, which he started to do right away, and just held his gorgeous wife close to him. And that's when he realized something, something that happened shortly after that fight. Looking down at his wife, Matt took a breath as he then proceeded to whisper to her. "Are you thinking back to that fight that we had?" Gabby took a breath as Matt asked her whether she was thinking about the fight that they had, as that most definitely was something that she was thinking about. She was thinking about that fight, and just the reason why she was thinking about it; I mean, they're past this…they have children now, they have the boys. They're going to have twin girls soon, and that's everything that they want to have. Taking a breath, Matt proceeded to kiss her forehead softly as they held each other close.

"Gabby, if you are then that would be reasonable, and I would understand." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before looking down as they both held each other close. "I guess, I just hate that this is still something that's on my mind." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before proceeding to kiss her forehead softly. "Baby, I promise that we're going to deal with this together; and you can always talk to me Gabby, do you want to talk right now?" Gabby took a breath as Matt asked her whether she wants to talk right now, because that was something that she felt like she needs to do; she felt like she needs to talk to her husband, and she needs to just relax and take it easy. And talking to Matt most definitely does help her do that, as it allows him to run his hand around her back; and it also allows him to leave soft kisses on her forehead, which is exactly what she needs to feel right now. She needs to feel him kiss her forehead, and they both just need to relax with each other. "Listen, do you want me to do anything right now?" Gabby took a breath, before looking up at the man of her dreams. She then tried to think about what she wanted, and she knew exactly what she wanted.

"I have an idea as to what I want to do." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before smiling at her; thinking that it would be sexual, which is more than up to do. "Oh, do you now?" Moving his arm around her lower back, Matt smirked as he then moved his other hand to her neck. Stroking her cheek, Matt started to take things nice and slow with the woman of his dreams; however, Gabby was not thinking about sex. "I'm not talking about sex." (Fake) Groaning as Gabby said that, Matt laid back against his pillow once more; at the same time, Gabby cuddled up to him (while also running her hand down his chest). "Well, at least not here in bed." Matt was a bit confused as he heard Gabby say that, before looking down at the woman he loves. "Then where are you…" Smirking at her husband, Gabby soon realized that he knew right away where she was talking about. "Oh." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, before nodding as that was exactly what (and where) she was talking about them getting intimate with each other; in their bath. "What do you think about that? Me and you taking a bath with each other?" Matt smirked. "Come join my in two minutes."

Getting out of Matt's arms, Gabby smirked as she watched him get up; after which, he leaned over her and moved his hand to her neck. "God, I love you so much." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I love you too Matt, and I am so glad that we're going to take a bath; but first, you need to go start it for us…okay?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she told him that he needs to go start the bath for the both of them, which he was about to do; but first, he went to grab his towel. "I think I might change my boxers if we're going to take a bath." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, while watching him make his way over to his dresser; after which, he decided to put his towel on. And that was due to the fact that his laundry hamper just so happened to also be right next to his dresser, which meant that his boxers had to go in there at some point; so, he might as well do it now, rather than have to do it when they get out of the washroom. And let's just say that Gabby likes the sight of her husband just wearing a towel, as he turned around so that he can face her this afternoon. "Bubble bath?" Gabby smirked as she heard Matt say that, loving that idea; I mean, what's better than the two of them having a bubble bath when you need to relax…and are mourning right now. "Yes please."

Moving to walk back over to Gabby in bed (while carrying his boxers), Matt smiled as he wanted to do something before he went to go run a bath for them, which is give his beautiful wife a kiss, and let's just say that's everything that Gabby wants. Moving his hand next to Gabby on their bed, Matt smirked as he put his hand on the side of her face. After which, he bent down and took things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world, which is something else that Gabby wanted to do, as she moved her hand to his neck. And then, they took things nice and slow with each other, which was everything that they both wanted to do with each other right now, and boy was it nice. "Listen, how about you go run the bath; and then I'll come join you?" Matt agreed with Gabby as he said that, getting up so that he can make his way to the washroom; then, he'll run them a bath and make sure that it's perfect for their beautiful wife. And that will mean that their bath is perfect, and boy can't he wait to get in the bath with his wife; because that's exactly what they're going to enjoy the most, the quality time that they're going to enjoy in the bath.

It's the little things that make Gabby love her husband more than anything in the entire world, and this would be one of the little things that she loves; the way he makes them some of the most romantic baths in the entire world, right when she needs them the most. And that was something that she most definitely needs right now, a romantic bubble bath with the man of her dreams, which is something that Matt knew as he sat down on the edge of the bath and made sure that the bath water was warm enough for the both of them. But there's something else that he's making sure of, which is that the bubbles are perfect too; and that was just another thing that made Gabby smile, as she most definitely does love the fact that Matt is being so attentive to little details. Details that would seem so miniscule to others, but not to Matt; rather, they're big details that really matter, and need to be done correctly so that he can make Gabby happy. And that's why he made sure to take his time and get things right; while also waiting for Gabby to join him at the bath, because that's always what she does when they get ready to take a bath with each other.

She walks into the bathroom, wearing nothing but a towel (or a robe); after which, she made her way over to Matt so that she could let him know that she was in here with him. And that was because she didn't want him to worry, worry about whether she was okay; and why she was taking so long, not that she was taking long right now. And that was due to the fact that she was already here, and she was happy about that; for the simple fact that this gave her a chance to see something that she doesn't get to see all too often, her husband's back muscles. He really is a handsome man, and he is very muscular; and that most definitely is something that they both know she enjoys, which is why Gabby is currently in the midst of walking up behind her husband. After which, Gabby moved her hand to his back and rubbed it; at the same time, Gabby wrapped her arms around his neck while standing behind him. She then bent down and kissed the top of his head, which is something that she never gets a chance to do with Matt. Turning around to look up at Gabby, Matt smirked due to the fact that he loves the fact that she was just wearing this sexy bathrobe, which is always really hot.

Getting close to his beautiful wife, Matt smirked as he opened her bathrobe and then wrapped his arms around her naked body; at the same time, Gabby put her hands on his arms and smiled as she looked up at the man she loves. Bending down, Matt smirked due to the fact that this really is everything that they both want to do with each other. They want to hold each other close, and they want to make sure that they just take it easy with each other. "I can see that you like what I'm wearing." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before bending down so that he could kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the most beautiful woman in the entire world, and the love of his life; Matt just smirked due to the fact that this is everything that they both want to do right now, as it makes them feel better. Even though they're grieving right now, that doesn't mean that they don't want to just take it easy with each other. They want to hold each other close, and they want to make sure that they are both really happy with each other. And that most definitely is how they feel like right, extremely happy; and they also feel safe in each other's arms. "Is the bath ready?"

Matt agreed with Gabby as she asked him whether the bath was ready. "But it's not ready for you to get in." Gabby was confused as she heard Matt say that, unsure as to why it wasn't ready for her to get in. "Why isn't it ready for me to get in?" Matt smirked as he got close to the woman he loves, before wrapping his arms around her. "Because I need to take off my towel, and I need to get in the bath first." Laughing a bit, Gabby agreed with her husband; at the same time, Matt wrapped his arms around her nice and tight. Cuddling up to each other, Matt, and Gabby both smiled as they held each other close; at the same time, Matt kissed her forehead softly. "Listen, I'm going to…." Interrupting her husband, Gabby then proceeded to take off his towel; and that was why he stopped talking as he was really turned on. "Oh, such a tease." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, getting nice and close to him before moving her hands to his chest; meanwhile, Matt grabbed his towel and then went to set it downright next to the bath. After which, he looked at it to make sure that it wasn't in the water. "Perfect, right next to your towel." Gabby agreed with Matt, smiling at him.

"Now, you just need to do one last thing for me; and that's get in the bath." Matt shook his head as he heard Gabby say that, before going to grab her bathrobe; the bathrobe that he planned on taking off for her, as that was his job as her husband. He's the only one who gets to take off her robe for her. "First, I'm going to take off this bathrobe; this bathrobe that's not really something I want to look at right now." Laughing a bit, Gabby proceeded to play with her husband. "Gee, I wonder what that would be?" Matt laughed as he heard Gabby say that, before bending down so that he could kiss her softly. Just taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Matt smirked due to the fact that this is exactly what they both want to do right now; he wants to take things slow with her, but not here. Rather, he wants to get in the bath with the woman he loves; and he wants to have her lay down in his arms as they cuddle up to each other in the bath. "What do you say we get in the bath right now?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, ready to do just that. "But first, you need to get in the bath." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she said that, before going to do just that.

The feeling of her husband's strong arms around her body, and his soft hand on her stomach; well, that was perfect. It was exactly what they both wanted to do, as they just cuddled up to each other in the bath. But things were just made even better by him moving his hand on top of hers and stroking it with his thumb; at the same time, he turned his head and kissed her forehead softly. "How are you feeling right now?" Gabby smiled as she heard Matt ask her that, before laying her head back against his chest. "Oh, I am very happy to be in the bath with you. This is very comfortable, and I am so glad that this is exactly what we're doing right now. You're holding me in your arms, and we're just relaxing in the bath. Thanks for the bubbles by the way." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, smiling as he kissed her forehead, which then led to Gabby rolling over in his arms, and laying her head down on his chest. After which, Matt wrapped his arms around her legs and just smiled due to the fact that this is everything that he wants to do right now; he wants to hold his beautiful wife right now, and just make her feel better (however he can do that). "I'm glad we decided to do this."

Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before proceeding to turn his head and pressing his lips onto her forehead; at the same time, he ran his hand up and down her back as they cuddled up to each other. "Are you feeling better so far?" Gabby took a breath as Matt asked her whether she was feeling better. "To tell you the truth, that's something that I'm not sure I'm going to be able to grieve while I'm still pregnant." Matt was a bit confused as he heard Gabby say that, before kissing her forehead once again while he ran his fingers up and down her back. "Baby, why are you thinking that way?" Gabby took a breath. "Because I'm still carrying our son, and that's something I hate. I am so uncomfortable, and it's just weird if that makes sense; I'm still carrying her, and there are times I wish that we didn't loose him…and that he was still alive in me." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case; after all, he felt the same way. He wishes that the baby was still alive too. "Do you ever wish we didn't go to the hospital that day?" Gabby sighed. "I hate to say this, but no; because I'm glad we learned that it was twins, and that we were having daughters." Matt agreed.

"And do you have anything on your mind, that you want to talk to me about?" Taking a breath, Gabby looked up at Matt as he said that. "I just wish we didn't loose the baby boy, because I actually kind of liked the idea of having five babies now." Matt looked down at Gabby as she said that, agreeing with her. "And you still want that?" Gabby took a breath. "I don't know if I could get pregnant though." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before turning her head and kissing her forehead softly; after which, he looked down at the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. The woman he wants to have a large family with, whether that be natural kids; or kids that they welcome into their family another way. And that way would be adoption, but he just isn't sure what Gabby would think about that. "Listen, I know that this is going to sound out of the blue; but I have an idea how we can still have triplets, and it's going to be a bit unconventional." Gabby looked up at Matt as he said that. "And what would that be?"

Taking a breath, Matt looked at the woman he loves. "Okay, listen. I know that this is something that we spoke about before, and something that you didn't want to do at the time; but I think that you might actually enjoy this idea, I mean…maybe." Gabby agreed with Matt. "What is it baby?" Matt took a breath. "What would you think of us talking to an adoption agency, and see whether we can adopt a baby boy born on that day? That way we have triplets, while also giving back?" Taking a breath as she looked at Matt as he asked her that, Gabby really thought about it; after all, she did somewhat like the idea. "Can we maybe talk about this in bed?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she asked him whether they can talk about it in bed. "Do you want to get out?" Gabby shook her head. "No, I am going to think about it; maybe then we can talk about it in bed?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before running his hand up and down her back. At the same time, he turned his head and kissed her forehead softly while they held each other close in bed.

At the same time, Gabby turned her head and just smiled as she leaned in and kissed his chest softly. And let's just say that's exactly what Matt wanted to feel. He wanted to feel the woman he loves kiss his chest, and he also wants to cuddle up to her like this; after which, he wrapped his arm around her and put his hand on her back. Stroking her back with his thumb, Matt smiled as he turned his head and kissed her forehead softly. "You comfortable here in the bath with me?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he asked her whether she was comfortable in the bath right now, as she most definitely was comfortable with the man she loves right now. "Oh, I love the feeling of you holding me in your arms; and I think that we both already know that's the case." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before kissing her forehead softly. After which, he ran his hand up and down her back due to the fact that this is exactly what they both want to do right now; they want to hold each other close, and they want to just relax with each other.

After which, they're going to talk about what Matt just suggested they talk about; something that Gabby is currently in the midst of thinking about right now.

Gabby's POV:
Giving back, getting back what we should've had. That was how I was thinking about what Matt just suggested we do after I give birth to the girls, adopt a son who's born on the same day as the girls. And that's something that I really want to talk to him about, because I actually find myself interesting in talking to Matt about; and that really surprises me, because I never thought in a million years that I would be okay with that. That was something that we really need to talk about, and I'm actually somewhat excited to talk to Matt about; yes, I just said that I was excited to talk to him about. And that was really surprising to me. How I am excited to talk to him about that. What are the odds that I'm going to want to do that? But still, that doesn't mean that I'm not ready to have this conversation with the man I love; as we hold each other in bed, and just make sure that we both talk about this easily. Turning my head, I proceeded to kiss Matt's chest and just smiled as we made sure that we relaxed in the bath right now (which is very cozy).

Running his hand up and down my back as I did that, Matt smiled as he bent down and proceeded to kiss the top of my head. And god, let's just say that this is everything that we both want to do right now. We want to hold each other close, and we want to make sure that we take it easy; and god, I can't wait to talk about this with Matt. But right now, I'm going to enjoy this bath.
