Chapter One Hundred and Ninety
Stella + Surrogacy = Jackson

To say that Gabby's dream that she just had with regards to how she and Matt would have another baby was nice, well that was an understatement; because she always loved to get some glimpses into their (hypothetical) future, and just what may lie ahead for them (and their children). But this dream, this possible turn of events that they may have been something that she didn't expect to have to even think about; especially not when it came to the fact that it would involve her best friend, acting as her surrogate. I mean, at least she'd know the surrogate; and she'd trust her explicitly, but is that really a good idea? Mixing friendship, with surrogacy? Is that something that Matt would even be okay with? His best friend's wife carrying his child? And on another note, why is she even thinking about this right now? She's currently pregnant with their third and fourth (and what was supposed to be their fifth) children, which might actually explain why she was thinking about it; because she's thinking about how they can get their son back if it's possible.

But why she thought about it while she was taking a nap, all cuddled up to the man she loves? She had no idea. Then again, that's where all of her dreams happen; when she's cuddled up to Matt in bed, just like she is right now (as he isn't yet awake). Rather, he was fast asleep with his hand on her back; stroking it with her thumb, as he tries to keep her asleep. Something that he's started to do on a regular basis of late, because she's been having a hard time sleeping; due to the miscarriage, and all of the emotions that deal with it. But still, this is just something that she feels like she needs to talk to Matt about; because there are huge repercussions that could happen if it goes bad, because they are both their best friend (and their employees). But that's not the relationship that they need to think about first, as they are friends first, which is really what she's thinking about right now, how this could easily ruin their friendship. Then again, this is just something that she needs to talk to her husband about; but he's asleep right now, and that's okay right now.

She can wait to talk to Matt, because he must need the sleep that he's still dealing with right now; the sleep that he may need due to the fact that he may have had bad dreams the night before, because that's something that Matt can always have whenever he's asleep. God, Gabby just hopes that's not what's happening right now; then again, he wasn't thrashing around (or mumbling) right now. So, that's a good sign that he isn't having PTSD; and that may mean that he's okay, as it also means that she can just take it easy and relax. She can lay down on his chest, and cuddle up to him, which is exactly what she wants to do right now, while she also thinks about what she's going to say to her husband. I mean, this is something that they need to decide together; as it would be his sperm, going into her egg (and her best friend's body/his best friend's wife's body). And that had to be something that would be awkward. God, there's just something that they both need to think about; but she just wishes that she wasn't thinking about it alone.

And that was actually why Matt just woke up, due to the fact that he could just feel like she was thinking right now; because her heart was racing, and that wasn't good for the twins. Right now, she needs to breathe and just relax; so he's going to make sure that she does just that, by also kissing the top of her head and running his hand up and down her back. And that seemed to do the trick, because Gabby was now breathing and relaxing, which was exactly what they need to do right now, they need to relax with each other. "What's going on baby? I know that you don't want to talk sometimes, but this is a time where you need to do that. I can feel your heart beating a bit faster than normal, so that has to mean something." Taking a breath as Matt asked her that, she just knew that this was the time that they were going to have to talk about it; there was no avoiding it, and there was no hiding the fact that she was thinking about something. Matt has learned so many tells recently, and he can tell when she's lying to him as well.

And now, that's why she has to talk to him. "Can we roll over onto our sides? We can talk to each other facing each other, because I most definitely would like to look in your eyes while we talk to each other." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, liking that idea. "I think that's a good idea, because we both know that you need to relax; and if you talking to me while laying down on your side makes you relax, then that's exactly what we're going to do." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, ready to talk to the man she loves; and that was due to the fact that she knows that if anybody can help her get through this, then it's her husband. After all, they love each other more than anybody in the entire world; and if you couldn't tell, they can just tell when something is wrong. And that's why they are going to lay down close to one another, and they are going to relax. "Okay, I'm getting off of your chest right now; roll over onto your side after that, and we'll talk." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, ready to do just that for his beautiful wife.

Getting close to Gabby as soon as they both laid down on their sides, Matt smiled as he wrapped his arm around her and put his hand on her back; at the same time, Gabby put her hand on his chest and cuddled up to him as much as she could (while also wrapping her leg around him to make sure that Matt doesn't move). And Matt had to say, that he loves the feeling of Gabby wrapping her leg around his; it's a turn on, and Matt most definitely does like the feeling of Gabby doing that. So much so, that he decided to just stroke her back and kiss her softly; taking things nice and slow with Gabby, Matt couldn't help but smirk due to the fact that this is something that he most definitely enjoyed. Which is why Matt actually just moving his hand to her leg and stroked it once again. "God, now this is the perfect way for the both of us to cuddle up to each other; it's so sexy, and I am so turned on by this." Gabby laughed as she heard Matt say that, before agreeing with the man she loves as she put her hands on his chest this afternoon, his muscular chest.

Gabby then got close to Matt again, who wrapped his arm around his back and just cuddled up to him while kissing him softly. Taking things nice and slow with his beautiful wife, Matt smirked due to the fact that this is exactly what the both of them want to do right now; they want to hold each other close, and they want to show each other that they love each other (while also talking about Stella being their surrogacy). Well, after they talk to her first; because that's something that they would have to do, but first they need to talk to each other. And right now, that's exactly what they're going to do; they're going to talk to each other, just after Gabby tells Matt just exactly what they're going to talk to each other about. "So, what are we talking about? What's on your mind, that you need to talk to me about?" Gabby took a breath as Matt asked her what they need to talk about, because this is going to be an awkward conversation. "Okay, I need to just say this; this is going to be a lot to take in, because it's a lot to take in." Matt agreed, laughing a bit.

And that made Gabby confused, as she wasn't sure why he was laughing. "Okay, why exactly are you laughing Matt?" Matt smiled as Gabby asked him that. "Gabby, whenever we talk about dreams; it's a lot to take in, because of how vivid our dreams are. And that means that there's a lot to take in, including some things that are quite unbelievable." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, because that was always the case; and she didn't even realize that Matt recognized that. "I'm glad that you realized that, because I never realized that." Matt agreed with Matt as she said that, well aware that was the case. "Gabby, you know that I'm very observant." Gabby nodded as she said that, before taking a breath; after which, she looked at the man she loves. "Okay, so I was just thinking about Jackson." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that. "Let me guess, that we would have him?" Gabby shook her head. "No, well…yes, but not this Jackson." Matt was a bit confused as he heard Gabby say that. "Okay, now I'm a bit confused right now."

Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "What did I tell you? This is going to be confusing, and I am going to tell you why. So, here's the thing; we are going to have Jackson, but not by adoption. Rather, we have him through surrogacy." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, because he kind of likes that idea; especially since it would mean that Jackson is their biological son, with Gabby not being pregnant (which is something that Gabby doesn't want to be again). "Well, I can get behind that. I can get behind us doing surrogacy to have Jackson, and I most definitely will pay to do just that; because I want to do whatever I can, in order to make sure that you're okay…and that you can make sure that we do it properly." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Now, what are you talking about? Because there's something about the way that you're talking to me about this, so what's going on baby; talk to me, and let me know what's going on in that beautiful head of yours."

Smiling as she heard Matt say that, Gabby shook her head; but still, she decided to get close to the man she loves. She then put her hand on his chest and leaned in to kiss him softly. Meanwhile, Matt put his hand on her side and took things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt. "Enough to have Stella be our surrogate?" Matt was a bit taken aback when he heard Gabby say that, because that was not something that he expected her to say; in fact, it wasn't even something that he could've imagined that she would talk to him about. "Okay, now that came out of the blue." Gabby took a breath as she looked at the man she loves, before rubbing his arm and just looking at him. "Do you want to talk about it?" Matt took a breath as he put his hand on her stomach, before feeling Gabby slip her legs in between his; after which, he leaned in and proceeded to kiss the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "Want to talk about this?"

Gabby took a breath as Matt asked her whether she wanted to talk about this, as this most definitely is something that she wants to talk about; I mean, this is something out of the blue. This is exactly what they both need to talk about, they need to figure this out. And they need to know whether this is something that they need to explore; heck, whether they need to talk about Stella about. That way, they can see whether she'd even be open to something like this. "I think that we need to take a breath and relax before we even talk about this, because there's somebody else that we need to talk to this about before we even dream about it." Matt agreed with his wife as she said that, well aware of just who that person was. "In fact, we need to talk to two people; because I want to have Kelly on our side, because he's the guy who would be helping me take care of the baby. I mean, they aren't moving in with us; they are going to be staying in their own place, and that means that Stella would have to be taken care of by him." Gabby smiled.

"And maybe that's why I thought of her, because I thought that they would be the people we trust; we would be able to make sure that she's taken care of, but we don't need to take care of her." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before leaning in and kissing the woman of his dreams once again; that was, until he felt Andy jump up on the bed (and crushing his foot in the process). "Andy, OW!" Turning to look at his dog, Matt just glared at him; after which, Andy moved out of the way so that he can get off of Matt's foot. "Good boy, now go lay down." Walking away, Andy did just that; meanwhile, Gabby turned her head and looked at the man she loves. Putting her hand on his face, Gabby smiled as she took things nice and slow with the man she loves. "I think we both know why he's on the bed right now, and that's due to the fact that it's three in the afternoon." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she said that, well aware that was the case. "Here, you stay right here; and I am going to go take him out." Gabby shook her head. "Together."

Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, ready to get up so that he can take Andy out (with her).
