Hi Readers: What are you guys thinking of today's chapters so far? I hope that you guys are enjoying them, and are ready to keep going with some more chapters, including this one; which will be my last one for tonight. So, let's just get to it. Here's our first beach chapter.
Chapter One Hundred and Ninety-Two
Quality Time at the Beach, Part One
Kahala Beach – Gabby had to admit, she loves the fact that they live on the beach as it means that they can just walk out of their home and be right on the beach. And that's exactly what Matt and Gabby want, as it means that they can go outside and take a walk on the beach whenever they want. And that's something that they both really like, as it can really help them; it can help them with their stress, and it can also help with Matt's PTSD. And that was one of the real reasons why matt and Gabby wanted to live here, because this is exactly what they need; they need to be able to easily access the water, and the beach. And god, Matt can't wait for when the boys are older; when they can run in and out of the water, because that most certainly is something that he can see happening soon. Their boys already love talking baths, and he can only imagine how they're going to feel when they get to take a swim in the ocean for the first time; but right now, Matt and Gabby weren't concentrating on their sons. Rather, they're going to concentrate on doing something; and that would be him running into the water and chasing after the ball. And that was something that Gabby knew. She knew that Matt wanted to do that with Andy, and while they walked down the beach with each other.
"Can you at least let me change sides, and hold your other hand? That way, I won't get hit by the ball." Laughing a bit as he heard Gabby say that, Matt brought his hand up and then proceeded to kiss her hand. "I think that I most definitely can make that happen." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before smiling as she let go of his hand. "Wait, do you want me to get the ball out; while you take him off his leach?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before smiling at her. "Maybe you can keep the leach in our beach bag?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, glad that was the case. "Well, I most definitely like that idea." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before getting close to her and proceeding to kiss the side of her head; after which, Matt smiled as he watched Gabby set their bag down. Bending down, Gabby proceeded to open the bag and saw the ball thrower. "Actually, I have an idea; what do you say you take him off his leach so that he doesn't hurt your arm while you're holding the ball for the first time?" Matt then thought about the idea and agreed with her. "Maybe I can put it in your bag?" Gabby agreed with Matt, smiling. "I have bags in here too."
Matt was a bit confused as he heard Gabby say that, before realizing what she meant. "Oh, dog bags." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, because that most definitely was exactly what she has in her bag. "Yes, I have some dog bags in here." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before going to look at Andy. "Andy, here boy." Getting close to Matt, Andy got ready to have his leach taken off; seemingly well aware that was what they were going to do right now. They were going to take off his leach, and they were going to make sure that they have fun with him; just like they're going to have with each other. That's something that they both want to do right now. They want to have fun with each other, and they can't wait to just get in the ocean with each other; because that most definitely will be something that they both plan on doing, they're going to get in the ocean and share a kiss. But first, Matt has to get Andy's leach off. "Hey, calm down boy. Calm down buddy." Andy agreed with Matt as he said that, before going to sit down; just like the good dog that he is. After which, Matt proceeded to grab his leach and went ahead and took it off for him. "Yeah, play time."
Andy then jumped up a bit as he heard Matt say that, while watching him stand up; at the same time, Matt proceeded to give Gabby the leach. Grabbing it from Matt, Gabby smiled as she went ahead and proceeded to set it down in her; at the same time, Matt looked at Andy while showing him the ball…which made him jump once again. "You ready to go boy? Ready?" Andy barked, agreeing with Matt as he most definitely was ready to do some running, which is why Matt then proceeded to go ahead and throw the ball, which is exactly what Andy wanted him to do. After which, he went ahead and ran after the ball, right into the water. "I hope you realize that he's going to smell like shit now." Moving to pick up the beach bag again, Gabby moved to put it over her shoulder; after which, Matt grabbed her hand and intertwined their fingers so that they could keep making their way to a spot on the beach. At the same time, Matt made sure to look at Andy and watch him run. "Well, he sure can run fast." Gabby laughed. "I think we both know that there's a reason that's the case." Turning his head, Matt was confused. "Is there a reason why you can say that?" Gabby smiled at Matt.
"He's gotten a bunch of rest and has a bunch of energy to get out." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before taking a breath. "Yeah, maybe I should start taking him out more often." Stopping with their walk, Gabby turned to look at the man she loves; she then got close to him and wrapped her arm around his back. "Hey look at me." Matt agreed with Gabby, stopping in his tracks before turning to face her; after which, he got close to her and moved his hand to her butt. After which, Gabby put her hand on his chest and looked up at the man she loves. "Baby, you were taking care of me; and that's what your job is as my husband, and we were grieving. I mean that." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, smiling as he stepped close to her; after which, he bent down and proceeded to kiss the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. Taking things nice and slow with Gabby, Matt smirked due to the fact that this is everything that they both want right now; they want to take things nice and slow with each other, simply because Gabby is the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you Gabby." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that.
She then proceeded to run her hand down his chest, smirking the entire time; after all, there was something that she wanted to do. "Listen, as much as I love spending time with you…I want to go take a swim, and that means that we both need to get into the water." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case. "Are you going to give me a chance to do something first?" Gabby smirked as she stepped close to the man she loves, wrapping her arm around his waist; at the same time, Matt moved his hand to her neck and smiled due to the fact that this really is everything that he wants to do with his wife right now. "And what might that be?" Matt smirked as he stared down into her eyes and stroked her cheek, before bending down and kissing his beautiful wife softly. "I want to put sunscreen all over you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "I want to do the same thing." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before going to grab her hand once more; intertwining their fingers afterwards, Matt smirked as they both proceeded to continue making their way down the path that led them towards the beach where they were going to relax this afternoon.
They finally found the perfect spot according to Gabby, which meant that Matt could finally set their beach bag down; and he could also do something for his beautiful wife, something that they both wanted him to do. And that was hold her in his arms, while putting some sunscreen on. But that was not the only thing that Matt was going to be able to do for his beautiful wife, just as soon as he finishes setting up. Well, getting everything set up for their furry friend. While the beach chair that Matt was carrying was already all set up, Matt has yet to put some water in the bowl; and that was what he was in the midst of doing, as he opened Andy's water bowl. After which, he grabbed the water jug that he brought along so that he could put some in his bowl. Going ahead with doing just that, Matt smiled due to the fact that this really is exactly what he and Gabby need right now; they need to get some quality time with each other, away from the boys so that they can just take it easy with each other. But rather than doing it in bed, they can do it on the beach, while running their hands all over each other and kissing each other in the water (soon). But right now, he has a job to do.
And that would be put some sunscreen on Gabby and stop her from searching from the beach bag to grab it; after all, she was in the midst of crouching down and trying to look through it. "You do realize that I couldn't picked that up for you, right?" Turning her head to look up at Matt, Gabby realized that. "Yeah, that probably would've been easier." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, just smiling at his beautiful wife as he rubbed the top of Andy's head. "Lay down boy, we're good now." Andy agreed with Matt as he said that, before going to lay down in the sand; meanwhile, Gabby stood up and just watched as Matt went ahead and took off his shirt for her. And let's just say that made Gabby smile, because Matt's muscles flexed as he did that; and that was always a turn on…which is something that Matt knows all too well, and it's exactly why he did it in front of Gabby. And now, he was going to acknowledge the fact that she liked what he just did; by taking off his shirt and throwing it to her. "You liked that?" Gabby laughed as Matt asked her whether she liked it, before moving to set it down in their bag; after which, she got up and walked up to the man she loves.
Cuddling up to Matt, Gabby smiled as she moved to wrap her arms around him; at the same time, Matt moved his hands to her arms and smiled due to the fact that this really is exactly what they both want to do right now. They want to hold each other close, and they want to make sure that they just relax; while also enjoying some quality time with each other, where they can be nothing more than lovers. And at the end of the day, that's what they are first and foremost; they're a couple who love each other more than anything in the entire world, and are committed to a long, happy life together. Yes, they're also in business together, and they're parents together; but none of those things truly matter to them, without the baseline relationship that they have with each other as husband and wife. That's the relationship that matters to them the most, and it's something that they are both well aware of. The fact that they love each other more than anything in the entire world. And that's something that they're showing each other during this hard time.
A hard time that they're going through together, just like they should be as this is a child that they're grieving for together, just like they did the first time around. And taking time to do it, well that's something that Matt and Gabby are both glad that they're doing. And that's something that Matt decided to show Gabby, by bending down and kissing the top of her head; after which, he whispered to her. "I'm glad that we're here at the beach, without the boys. This is something that I feel like we need, and it gives us time outside rather than being stuck in our room, which is where we have a lot of emotions right now." Moving to look up at her loving husband, Gabby agreed with him as she felt the same way; their room has a lot of emotions in it, simply based on the fact that was the place where they conceived the (then) triplets. "I agree." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before bending down so that he could kiss her again. "Do you agree that we should sit down together right now?" Gabby agreed with Matt, as she most definitely did.
"You need to sit down first though, because I want to sit in your lap and cuddle up to you." Matt agreed with Gabby she mentioned that she wants to sit in his lap, as well as cuddle up to him; and the truth was, that was what he wanted as well. Just because they're no longer in their home, that didn't mean that he didn't want to hold her in his arms; he wanted to continue to hold her in his arms right now, because she needs to be held. "And I promise you this, I am not going to stop holding you in my arms; even if we're with family, because I want to do that today. I want to hold you in my arms, and I want to just cuddle up to you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before smiling as she got close to him; after which, she hugged him again and looked up at the man she loves. Wrapping his arms around Gabby too, Matt smirked as he bent down and then proceeded to kiss her softly. "I love you, and I'm going to sit down for you now; because that's what you both want and need me to do." Gabby agreed with Matt, smiling as she let him go this afternoon.
After which, Matt made his way over to the beach chair (which they just finished getting set up for the both of them) and went ahead and sat down; that way, Gabby could come join him and sit in his lap (like she wants to do right now).
Moving to sit down in Matt's lap as soon as he got himself comfortable, Gabby smiled due to the fact that this was extremely comfortable; but that was simply due to the fact that she was always comfortable whenever she was in Matt's arms, as she should be. She should always be comfortable in her husband's arms, the moment she cuddles up to him; especially when he moves his hands right to where she wants them to be, and when he takes his phone out of his pocket (which means that he can't be disturbed). "Just curious, are you going to keep it on?" Matt smiled as he set his phone down on the little table that they have attached to the beach chair, before turning his head and kissing the side of her head (as he moved his hands to her stomach). "Only for family, which means that we can only be reached if the boys need us." Moving her hands to Matt's hands, Gabby smiled as she heard that; and that was due to the fact that it was exactly what she wanted to hear. She wanted to hear that, as she wants to have time with Matt.
"I'm glad, because that's what I want to have right now." Turning his head, Matt then proceeded to whisper in Gabby's ear. "You want to have my full attention right now, don't you?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he asked her whether she wanted to have his full attention, as that was exactly what she wanted to have. "Is that okay?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she asked him that question, before kissing the side of her head once again; after which, he turned his head and whispered into her ear. "Of course, it is Gabby, and I don't want you to feel guilty about wanting this; because you need this right now, we both do." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case; she just hates the reason why that's the case, which is that she had a partial miscarriage. "I just keep thinking that we're really unlucky when it comes to the fact that we lost another baby." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case; after which, he proceeded to kiss her forehead softly. "It's still on your mind right now? Isn't it?" Gabby sighed.
However, that was not what Matt wanted to hear; rather, he just wanted to hear her breathe and relax. So, he ended up wrapping his arm around her and moving his hand to the side of her face so that he could kiss her, which is exactly what Gabby both wanted, and needed him to do right now. She needs him to kiss her, and just take things nice and slow with her, which he promptly did as soon as he was close enough to kiss her, and just make her feel loved. And boy did Gabby feel loved by the man of her dreams right now. She felt extremely loved, and she was just so happy that this is what they're both in the midst of doing with each other; they're holding each other close and sharing a sweet kiss with each other right now. "God, I love it when you do that Matt." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case. "Why do you think that I just kissed you like that?" Gabby laughed, smiling at the man of her dreams; after which, he turned his head and kissed her forehead softly. "I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt.
"I love you too Matt, and I'm glad that we're here." Going to grab the sunscreen which he plans to put on his beautiful wife's body, Matt smirked as he went ahead and opened it so that he can squirt it into his hands, which he promptly did, as he didn't want to waste time with doing anything other than running his hands all over her beautiful body. Moving his hands to her body, Matt smirked as he went ahead and started to run his hands all over her body; and that most definitely was something that Gabby was enjoying, as it gave her a chance to have some intimate time here with her husband, as they sit on the beach with each other. And it also gives her a chance to just breathe and try to forget just what's going on in their life right now; all the stressful parts that are on her mind right now, including the fact that she's currently carrying their lifeless son inside of her. And just thinking about that led to Gabby starting to cry and roll over onto Matt's chest (so that she was cuddling up to him); and let's just say that confused Matt. "Hey, what…."
Moving his hand to Gabby's neck to push her head up, Matt soon realized why she just rolled over; by feeling the tears that were rolling down her cheek, he could just tell that something was wrong. And that was why he didn't move for a moment, and just held the woman he loves in his arms; trying to make her feel better. He then kissed the top of her head and whispered to her. "Jackson?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he asked her if she was thinking about Jackson right now, as she was. "And the fact that I'm still carrying him inside of me." Matt nodded as he heard Gabby say that, well aware that was the case. He then proceeded to bend down and kissed the top of her head. "Do you want to do anything? Maybe we get in the water and talk in there?" Gabby agreed with Matt, as that's exactly what she wants to do right now; she wants to move into the water. "Just finish with the sunscreen first, I don't want to burn. Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that they don't want her to burn as well; but still, he felt horrible for her.
Walking down the beach towards the ocean, Matt, and Gabby both held each other close; while walking in silence, because Gabby just couldn't speak after the flood of emotions that came out of her just then. It was something that she hadn't expected, and that was why she couldn't speak about it right now; she just needed to take a breath and relax, and that as exactly what they're going to do. At the same time, Matt is going to hold her; and he's also going to make Andy run, which he's already doing by throwing the ball into the water. "Run Andy, run!" Andy then went ahead and ran away to get the ball, which is exactly what Matt wanted him to do. And the truth was, that was what Gabby wanted him to do as well; as it gave her and Matt some time alone, where he can concentrate on her. And that's really why they're at the beach anyways, so that they can be together and spend some quality time with each other; and he can hold her close to him. And that most certain was exactly what Matt was going to do, as they walked into the water.
But Gabby was a bit hesitant to go in, which caused Matt to turn around and face her. "Hey, what's going on?" Gabby took a breath. "I just want to hold you and relax, so can we…" Walking up to Gabby, Matt agreed with her as he wrapped his arm around her; after which, Gabby moved her hand to his chest and leaned up to kiss him softly. At the same time, Matt grabbed her butt and just took things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "I promise, I will hold you in my arms as we relax together; you aren't going anywhere, because I know it's what you need baby." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, glad that was the case. But she then realized something. "Wait, how are we going to throw the ball if we're in the ocean together?" Matt then realized that was a real question. "Maybe I don't use the ball thrower?" Gabby shook her head, because that's not what she wants. "Can we put Andy at the beach chair? And we can take a swim?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she asked him that.
"Then can you let go of my hand for just a minute, when Andy's back and I can go tie him up." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before smiling as she got close to him; after which, she leaned up and kissed him softly. At the same time, Andy came back. "Get in the ocean and I'll come join you in a minute." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, letting go of his hand; after which, she walked away to get in the ocean. Meanwhile, Matt watched as Andy made his way out of the ocean. "C'mon Andy, let's go tie you up to the beach chair; then you can take a nap, while I spend some time with Gabby in the ocean." Andy agreed with Matt as he said that, before proceeding to walk out of the ocean with him so that he can relax (and go take a nap); meanwhile, Matt was going to get in the ocean with Gabby and have some fun with her, which is the entire reason that they were at the beach. So that they can hold each other close, and just have some quality time with each other; and Matt was glad that they were going to get a chance to do just that.
He just finished getting Andy all set up at the beach chair, when he heard somebody walk up to him. "Let me guess, somebody doesn't want to take Andy in the ocean with him and Gabby?" Turning around as he heard a voice he recognized, Matt smiled when he saw Will and Natalie. "Hey, what are you guys doing here?" Matt then proceeded to go hug them both. "You're not the only one who wants to be at the beach, but an answer?" Matt smiled, agreeing with Will; as that was exactly what he was hoping to do, to take a swim with Gabby. "Yeah, that's what I want to do. I want to take a swim alone with Gabby, and I was thinking of just leaving him here." Will agreed with Matt as he said that, smiling at him before turning to look at Natalie. "If you want, we can sit close to you guys and take care of him if you want?" Natalie agreed with Matt. "Especially since I know why you guys need to take a swim." Matt agreed with Natalie, smiling as that was exactly why they were here. "Thanks Natalie." Natalie agreed with Matt. "Have some fun with Gabby."
Turning to look at Gabby as she was in the ocean, Matt smiled as he ran away so that he could join her; at the same time, Will turned to look at Natalie. "How did I know that you were going to rope be into that?" Natalie laughed, before turning to look at Matt. "Matt, can we…" Matt then realized something. "Yes, you can touch him." Natalie agreed, giving him a thumbs up as he ran away so that he could get in the ocean; at the same time, Will let her hand go so that he can start getting them all set up. "So, we're dog sitting?" Natalie just looked at her husband. "Hey Will, do I need to remind you that I'm going to be 19 weeks pregnant on New Year's Eve?" Will gulped as he heard Natalie say that, well aware that was the case. "Oh right." Natalie smirked as she heard Will say that, before watching as he went to get them set up; at the same time, she looked at Andy. "Hi Andy, you remember me?" Andy barked, agreeing with Natalie as she asked him whether he remembered her. After which, Natalie went to rub his head. "Good boy."
Turning to look at Natalie, Will decided to make a bit of a joke with his beautiful wife. "You talking to me, or are you talking to Andy?" Natalie laughed a bit as she heard Will say that. "I'm talking about Andy, but you need to just calm down and get that chair set up; that way, we can relax as we take care of him for Matt and Gabby. Also, be careful with the water bowl." Will agreed with Natalie as she said that, making sure that he was careful around the water bowl; but he did also see a big water jug, which he could only assume was for Andy. "Here's a water bottle though, so we can always fill it with this." Natalie agreed with Will as he said that, before smiling as she went ahead and started to get undressed; but that was not what Will wanted, as he would rather get her undressed. "Maybe let me do that for you?" Natalie agreed with Will, smiling as she got ready to spend some quality time with her husband on the beach today; just like Gabby was in the midst of doing with her own husband, as he held her close in the ocean.
