Hi Readers: Happy Mother's Day, and welcome to another day of chapters. I hope that you guys enjoyed yesterday's chapters and are ready for more today. And I also hope that you guys liked the new characters that I added to the story, as they are just some of the new characters which I plan on introducing in the future. And let me explain why that's the case. I believe that it's high time that I start to introduce more of the staff and give you a bit of information about them; that way, you already know who they are as people. And you can also have a sense of what type of position they have in the company, and how they are personality wise. Whether they are team players, family people, or whether they are just marriage; amongst other things, and I hope you enjoy those little glimpses into the family lives of people who aren't One Chicago originals. If you guys are okay with that, then I hope you'd let me know. And who knows, maybe you can even give me some names of your favorite TV characters that I can try and add to the story; enjoy readers.

Chapter One Hundred and Ninety-Six
Taking it Easy ahead of Family Dinner, Part Two

She ended up taking a descent length of a nap, as she cuddled up to the man of her dreams in bed this afternoon-early evening; the wife truly content to just spend some quality time with him in bed, as they held each other close while they relaxed. While they took some time to just be husband and wife, rather than already be parents; not that they aren't parents all the time, as they are. But right now, they are solely husband and wife; and that's due to the fact that Gabby just woke up from her nap, which was quite refreshing. And honestly, it felt like exactly what she needed. She needed to take some time with her husband, and she needed to have a nice sleep with him; which she most certainly did, as she cuddled up to his muscular chest some more (with the hopes of Matt continuing to think that she was asleep). But unfortunately, that didn't end up happening; as Matt soon realized that she was awake, because of how she started to snuggle up to him some more. After all, that's how he realized that she was awake. It's always how he figures it out.

And that's more than okay with Gabby, as it means that she gets to just feel his love right away; she gets to feel how much he loves her, as he runs his hand up and down her body. As he kisses the top of her head, and shows her that he's happy that she just woke up (I mean, what husband wouldn't be happy that she just woke up after a nap). It means that they get a bit of time with each other, before they have to be parents; and they also get a bit of time to just talk, and make sure that Gabby is okay. And heck, maybe she can even get something from her husband; without her having to even ask, which she already is. And just what might that be? Well, that would be a nice massage that she's already getting from the man she loves. Bending down this early evening, Matt smiled as he kissed the top of his beautiful wife's head; after which, he started to stroke her back with his thumb. And that feeling of him stroking her back with his thumb was all Gabby needed to feel content, as it was a way for Matt to give her something like a massage; which was great.

Her back always needs a massage anyways, because of the heavy weight that she's always carrying on her body; a weight that she's more than okay with carrying, simply due to the fact that she wants to have the girls. Yes, that's the weight that she's talking about; the weight that comes with being pregnant with your third, and fourth child (and what was supposed to be your fifth). But she's trying her best not to think about said fifth child, as it makes her really sad; and it makes her want to cry, which just brings out a whole set of more emotions. Emotions that she doesn't want to deal with right now, simply due to the fact that it's not something that she wants to have to deal with; wait, she already said that. But whatever, it's still the truth. Right now, Gabby just wants to concentrate on the things that make her happy in life. Her loving husband, and their sons; and that's something that she plans on doing tonight, because she wants to spend some time with them. Well, maybe after her husband gives her more of a massage. Maybe on her shoulders.

And, of course; right after they have a bit of a conversation, because that's something that they both know she isn't going to be able to escape. Matt's going to want to talk before they head downstairs, and he wants to make sure that she's okay; because even though they do want to have a family dinner tonight, that isn't something that they have to do if she isn't feeling up to it. And he's not just talking about it when it comes to her energy levels, as he also means it in an emotional way; if Gabby isn't in the right head space to go ahead with family dinner, then they'll figure out a way to tell that to their family. And then, they can stay up here. Or, they can just go have dinner with their family, before coming back up here afterwards; they'll figure it out, and Matt's sure of that. But right now, that's not what he needs to concentrate on; not when Gabby is awake, and she wants to snuggle up to him for a bit longer. And that's why he (finally) decided to say something to his beautiful wife, so that she knew that he was ready to talk to her if she needed to.

Because that's something else that Matt is worried about right now, how her mental health is doing; which him already suffering from mental health issues (his PTSD), he would rather not have Gabby deal with too many. However, if she is dealing with some mental health issues; then he's more than ready (and willing) to help her get through them, whenever she needs to. All she needs to do is talk to him, and they'll take a moment away from the family to talk some more; he's here for her, and that's always going to be the truth. And he's pretty sure that Gabby already knew that, especially as she cuddled up to him right now; which prompted him to run his hand up and down her back some more, while also kissing the top of her head one last time before speaking to her for the first time since she woke up from her nap. "How was your nap?" Turning her head to look up at the man of her dreams, Gabby smiled as she had a good nap. "I'm feeling good, refreshed and relaxed." Matt agreed with Gabby as she told him how she felt, glad that was the case.

"Good, I'm glad." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before smiling as she bent down and kissed her husband's muscular chest; which was something that Matt always enjoyed the feeling of…her soft lips on his chest, as they held each other close. And the truth was, Gabby loved the feeling as well; because it gave her a chance to show her dreamy husband just how much she truly loves him, without having to tell him that she loves him. After all, that's the best way of telling somebody that you love them; by showing them with actions, rather than saying it with words. It truly is much more romantic, and that was something that Gabby was going to make sure that she does for the man of her dreams whenever she can. She's going to make sure that they show each other that they love each other, rather than have to tell each other that they love each other. And Matt's more than okay with that, as he wants that as well; he wants to show Gabby just how much she means to him, as well as their sons. Because she means the world to them.

That's a fact, and nobody will ever be able to deny that fact; simply because it's the god's honest truth, and they are both really happy right now. Which is why Matt ended up deciding to bend down and kiss the top of her head once again, as they continued to hold each other close in bed; which is exactly what they both want to do as Gabby woke up from her nap, hold each other close while they cuddle up to each other in bed. "Good nap? Good dreams? No nightmares?" Gabby shook her head as Matt asked her whether she had any nightmares, as she didn't; and she certainly was glad that was the case. Because that was the last thing that she wanted to have, nightmares; she wanted to have sweet dreams, which she most certainly did have. But unfortunately, she didn't remember the dreams that she had today; and that makes her sad, as she always loves to think back on her dreams and share them with Matt as she wakes up. "And I can only assume that you forgot them, because you aren't sharing them with me right now." Gabby snickered.

"How can you tell that's the case simply by me being quiet?" Smiling as he looked down at his gorgeous wife, Matt smirked due to the fact that he knows her better than anybody in the entire world. "That's due to the fact that I know you better than anybody in the entire world, and we both know that's the case." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, as she knows that both in reality; and she also knows that in her heart, which is why she always smiles when he gives her exactly what she needs. But more specifically, what she needs; without her having to ask for it, or even knowing that she needs it herself. Matt just knows her that well. He knows that she needs, without her having to tell him what she needs to have. And that's what makes Matt such a great husband, just how he takes care of her perfectly; and he never messes up, because he's the best husband in the entire world. And that truly makes Gabby proud to call him her husband, and it makes her want to be his wife for the rest of her life; which she most certainly will be.

"Do you mind if we roll over onto our sides? I want to do something before we head downstairs." Matt agreed with Gabby as she asked him whether they can roll over onto their sides, as he already knows exactly what she wants to do; she wants to look into his eyes, and she wants to kiss him for a while. And the truth is, she wants to do the same thing. He wants to take things nice and slow with the woman of his dreams, as he holds her in his arms and makes her smile the entire time. And that's exactly what he's going to do, just as soon as he rolls over onto his side and gets close to the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world; the woman he's proud to call his wife, the love of his life, and the mother of his children. The woman he'll love until the day he dies.

Getting close to Gabby shortly after rolling over in bed, Matt smiled as he proceeded to wrap his arm around her back and tug her body against his chest. And let's just say that's exactly what Gabby wanted him to do right now. She wanted to feel his body against hers, and she wanted to cuddle up to him; as she slipped her legs in between his and moved her hand to his toned chest. Something that Matt most definitely did enjoy, as he's just the best husband in the entire world. Meanwhile, Matt moved his hand to her neck and stared into her gorgeous eyes; the eyes that he loves staring into, whenever they're in bed with each other (and holding each other close in general). He then proceeded to lean in and smiled as he went ahead and kissed her softly, taking things nice and slow with his girl; the woman he loves, Ms. Gabriela Casey. "God, I love you so much; and I can't wait to celebrate three years with you Friday." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before smiling as she felt his hand on her lower back, where she loves feeling it.

She then moved as close to him as she possibly can, as she can't be right against his chest anymore; and that would be due to her baby bump, not that she minds. But right now, this is just something that they need to do so that they can cuddle. They need to make sure that they both hold each other as close as they can, and they need to be (somewhat) intimate with each other. And that starts with Matt moving his hand to her stomach and smiling at the woman of his dreams. "You feeling okay?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he asked her whether she was feeling okay, as she was. She was okay, and just glad that they were spending some time with each other right now; as it's what they need to do with each other. They need to hold each other close, and they need to cuddle up to each other; as they give each other comfort, and just relax in each other's arms (in bed). "Are you happy that you took a nap before we headed downstairs?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he asked her whether she was happy that she took a nap, before going downstairs.

"Oh, I most definitely am; because I needed it, especially since I'm still not sleeping the best at night." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case. Heck, she's sleeping worse at night at times, than their 8-month old sons Matteo and Noah. "I know, things are getting harder to sleep; heck, you sleep worse than Matteo and Noah sometimes." Gabby agreed with Matt as he mentioned that, as she knew that was the case. "I know what you mean." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before proceeding to kiss her forehead softly; after which, he looked down into her eyes and moved to kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Matt smirked due to the fact that Gabby is the love of his life; and because this is exactly what he wants to do right now. Hold her close to his chest, as they cuddle up to each other in bed; while they share a sweet kiss with each other, ahead of going to spend some quality time with their family (and share a meal with them). "I think that we made the right move."

Looking up at Matt, Gabby was a bit confused as she heard him say that; as she wasn't sure just what he was talking about. "Okay, I am going to play dumb here, because I am not sure what you mean right now." Matt snickered a bit as he heard Gabby say that, as he was glad that she was just playing dumb; because his wife most certainly is not that, she is not dumb. She is one of the smartest women in the world, and he's not just saying that because he's her husband (or because he wants to get sex this weekend as they celebrate their anniversary). He means it, because he's seen what her mind can come up with; as she's been creating ELLA from the ground up, and her designs are incredible. He's already seen a few of the pieces for her 2020 Spring/Summer catalogue, and they are gorgeous; and he already knows that they are going to be really popular, and not just here in Hawaii. He thinks that Gabby is onto something, and he's just happy that she's decided to pursue this opportunity that she has; even though she's doing it with his help, and financial backing.

But even if he wasn't the one that was backing her financially, he would still have her back; and that's due to the fact that she's his wife, and he supports her in what she wants to do. And while that wasn't the case (all the time) in the past, it's the case now; and it will always be the case, for the rest of their lives. When Matt says that they're in this together, he isn't just talking about this life that they have as a family; even though, that is a place where they will always be a team (as they raise their family together). But when it comes to business, Gabby is his biggest fan; and he's her biggest fan, supporting her all along the way. And that's why he actually gave her the eight and ninth floors on the building, because that was where they were going to have their fashion shows in the future; and Matt already has a seat reserved for every show, in the front row. Nice and close to his wife, so that he can be the first sone to congratulate her; and give her some nice flowers, right after the end of the show. Something that Kelly has as well, right next to him.

However, he still has the seat closest to the stage; as he's more senior, and Gabby is more senior in the ELLA design team. But right now, that's not what Matt wants to concentrate on; as he would much rather concentrate on his wife, and the intimate time that they are currently sharing with each other. Time that they aren't always guaranteed to have, as they have two sons; and soon, they are going to have four children. Two sons named Matteo and Noah, and two beautiful daughters name Bella and Emily; and he truly can't wait to meet the later, as it's going to be something special. Him watching his wife give birth to their daughters, because that's exactly what he wants; he wants to watch his wife give birth to their daughters, and he wants to be there when he can cut the chord. Because that's something that he's going to proudly do, as they give birth together; and that's due to the fact that they're going to do it as a team, with him supporting her every step of the way. "So, how much longer do you think we can fake that we're still asleep?"

Gabby laughed as she heard Matt ask her that, before getting close to him; after which, she wrapped her arms around his torso and cuddled up to him. "Maybe a couple more minutes." Matt agreed with Gabby as he felt her slip her legs in between his, and wrap her arms around him some more; meanwhile, he put his hand on her arm (while also slipping his other arm under her head). After which, he turned his head and kissed her forehead softly. "Think maybe we can talk about something first?" Turning her head, Gabby looked up at Matt. "What is it baby?" Matt sighed as he looked down into her eyes, before bending down and kissing her softly. "Me and Antonio were talking while I was still downstairs, and uhm…he got me thinking about something that I want to run by you, because I think it's something that we need to talk about." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, while she was also a bit confused as to just what that might be. "What is it baby?" Taking a breath, Matt looked down into her eyes. "Counselling."

"Counselling."

That was a word that Gabby most definitely did not expect to hear come out of Matt's mouth, which was why she ended up pushing him back onto his back; that way, she could lay down in his arms once again (as she cuddled up to him). And that was more than okay with Matt, as he understood that she may need this. She may need to feel him hold her in his arms, and run his hand up and down her back once again; which is exactly what he was in the midst of doing, as they held each other close in bed. But first, Matt decided that he should apologize for even bringing this up. "Sorry for bringing this up baby." Turning her head to look up at the man of her dreams, Gabby shook her head as that was the last thing that she wanted him to do; she didn't want him to apologize, when the idea that he brought up as a valid idea. It was something that they had to think about, especially when her brother brought it up; because maybe he sees things that they're missing, not that she wanted to think that way. She hopes Matt would see everything that's wrong.

Heck, Matt feels the same way; but there are times where that doesn't happen, and they both just need to relax and hold each other close (while talking about some hard things). And this, well this would be one of those topics; it's hard, because they didn't expect to have to talk about this. But right now, that's exactly what they're going to do. They're going to talk about the topic that Matt just brought up, so that they can see where they both are on the idea of them going to counselling; and Gabby wants Matt to go first, since he was the one that brought up the idea in the first place. "Want to talk about it?" Turning his head to look down at Gabby, Matt took a breath as he wasn't sure what he wanted to do; but it wasn't like this idea was just going to leave their minds right now, as it was instead going to hang over them until they talk about it. So, they might as well talk about it now that it's the topic of conversation. "We might as well talk about it, now that we're thinking about it." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, as she felt the same way.

She wanted to talk about this, because it was on their minds. "What are you thinking when it comes to this?" Taking a breath, Matt ran his hand up and down her back; before thinking back to the last time they lost a child, and how much going to see Chaplain Orlovsky helped Gabby. "I know the last time something like this happened, you hated going to see Chaplain Orlovsky." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case; before turning her head and looking up at the man of her dreams. At the same time, Matt turned his head and looked down at his gorgeous wife. "But I can't help but also think about how this time is different, and there's just so many emotions that you're going to have to deal with Gabby." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, already well aware of just what he was talking about; how this time is much different, as she's still pregnant with their girls. And rather than loosing the entire pregnancy, she only lost their son; which wasn't the case at all the last time around, and they both knew that.

"But then again, I know you Gabby. And I know how closed off you are, and how you don't like to talk to people; other than people you trust, and who know you. So, would you really open up to somebody that you don't trust? Or at least know already?" Looking up at Matt, Gabby took a breath due to the fact he just made another valid point; a point that was the truth, and they both knew it was the truth. "I know that you mean, and I hate that I don't always open up to people; even you at times, and I'm sorry for that." Matt shook his head as he heard Gabby say that, not wanting to hear her apologize when it's not her fault. It's how she deals with grief, and they all deal with grief in their own way; heck, they almost lost each other the last time that they lost a child. "I just know that there are going to be so many questions when it comes to what you want to do, and how you are really doing; and as much as we both know that you can talk to me, I don't know all the answers. Nor do I know everything that's going on with you, as you are holding back."

Looking up at Matt, Gabby was about to argue; that was, until he gave her the look her always gives to her to make her realize that what he was saying was the truth. And when she thought about it, she knew that she couldn't lie. She couldn't lie about the fact that she was holding back, and that she wasn't being completely open and honest with him; because this is just a hard conversation, and it's one that she doesn't really want to have (due to the hard emotions that it brings up). "I just hate the conversations that it might bring up, all the emotions that it brings up; it's hard, and I just…I hate it Matt, I don't like breaking down; because it's not me. I'm not the woman who breaks down, I'm the strong one; I've always been the strong one, and I've dealt with things." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, as he ran his hand up and down her back. "And I know that Gabby, but you're not alone in this; you're never going to be alone in this, because I'm your husband and I love you more than anything in the entire world." Gabby agreed with Matt, smiling.

After all, she knew that was the case; and she also knew that would always be the case. She knew just how much he loved her, and just how much he wants the best for her; and that's the real reason that he brought up this topic of going to see something, because he knows that going to counselling may really help her in the long run. Because that's probably what he's really thinking about, how this will affect her in the long run. "You're thinking about the long run, aren't you Matt?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she asked him whether he was thinking about the long run, because that was exactly what he was thinking about; the long run, which is what they both need to think about. They need to think about the long run, and just how this will affect Gabby; both in her personal life, and when it comes to work. Turning his head, Matt looked down at his wife. "Gabby, ,can we make a deal?" Gabby looked up at Matt as he asked her that. "What if we go together? We go to the session together, and we talk?" Gabby agreed with Matt, smiling at him.

"And I want to do it before you go back to work, because I want you to talk to someone and see if you're okay; I want to know that you at least got some of the things you're hiding off your chest, and out in the open. If we can at least have a start, then we can talk at home more; and I can know what to look for while you're at the office, when you're working on my floor. Because I think that's what we need right now, to always be with each other; on the same floor, preferably." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that's the case. After which, she watched as Matt bent down and kissed her softly. Just taking things nice and slow with Matt as he held her in his arms, Gabby smirked due to the fact that Matt truly is the love of her life; and she's incredibly proud of just everything that he's done for her, and how he's always going to help her through everything. And that's something that she can count on for the rest of her life, and she already knows it. And it seems like Gabby wasn't the only thing who knew something, as she soon heard yelling.

"MATT, GABBY! ANTONIO'S HERE WITH EMILY!" Turning his head, Matt snickered a bit as he bent down and kissed his wife again. "Let's get out of here." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before moving out of his arms; after which, she went to get out of their bed so that she can go see her brother. At the same time, Matt did the same as they got ready to go out and be with family.
