zachycards: Hello fellow reader, and welcome to the next chapter and installment of A Pair Of Certain Scientific Railgun Aces. Here is the disclaimer, I do not own A Certain Scientific Railgun, in any sort of possible or conceivable way, in any sort of possible or conceivable shape, or in any sort of possible or conceivable form. I also do not own any of the other anime associated with it, in any sort of possible and conceivable way, in any sort of possible and conceivable shape, or in any sort of possible and conceivable form. I do not own anything in this story, in any sort of possible and conceivable way, in any sort of possible and conceivable shape, or in any sort of possible and conceivable form, except my oc self insert. I am not making money off of this, in any sort of possible and conceivable way, in any sort of possible and conceivable shape, or in any sort of possible and conceivable form. I also do not own the rights to A Certain Scientific Railgun, in any sort of possible and conceivable way, in any sort of possible and conceivable shape, or in any sort of possible and conceivable form. Or any of the other anime associated with it, in any sort of possible and conceivable way, in any sort of possible and conceivable shape, or in any sort of possible and conceivable form. A Certain Scientific Railgun does belong to, and it will always belong to Kazuma Kamachi and Motoi Fuyukawa, in every sort of possible and conceivable way, in every sort of possible and conceivable shape, and in every sort of possible and conceivable form. So, now that the disclaimer is out of the way, let us now move on to the 20th chapter. But, however, before I do, let me just go and reiterate once again to all the readers who are reading this fanfic. That, I am typing out all of the chapter in all of my in progress fanfics. That are a tad bit below, or are very much below at least one thousand overall words in the chapter. The reason I am doing this is because I was very unhappy with how those chapters looked, because I felt that I did not put in enough effort with regards to writing each of them. I am also going to do my absolute and complete diligence to try and write every single episode of these anime into an actual chapter of at least one thousand words in length. The only chapters that I am going to try and skip, are chapters that I do not feel are at all or very practical for me to try and, or even attempt to write in the first place. And one more thing, please, I know you may or may not have a busy schedule outside of reading fanics, but at least take some time out of your life to at least leave a review on any one of my fanfics. I will happily take your criticism. I don't bite, at least, the last time that I had checked, I am very much sure that I don't. And any sort of correction you would like me to make, and I will do my absolute best to make it happen, within some sort of reason of course. But anyways, now that I am done rambling on, I think it is now time to move on to the 20th chapter. I just hope that you can all appreciate the time I have put into this.
Chapter 20: Cash Cards
Location: In Misaka, My And Kuroko's Room And At Nagatenjoki Academy
Time: In The Evening
One night, Misaka and I recalled in a dream of how, when we were younger, we were approached by scientists wanting to use of our DNA map to help cure Duchenne muscular dystrophy. The next morning, Kuroko tried to take us both through an alleyway to get to the mall, but we encountered a few people passing by. We discovered that this was due to someone hiding envelopes containing cash cards within the alleyways, piquing people's curiosity to search for them. After running into Saten, who was also on the hunt for the money cards, Misaka and I overheard some Skill-Outs who had managed to locate the source of the envelopes and we decided to follow them. Meanwhile, Saten grew curious as she had allegedly seen both Misaka and I at the mall, despite us both never actually getting there, with Konori explaining to Uihaur about a rumor of there being clones of two Level 5 espers. The Skill-Outs eventually trace the envelopes back to a Nagatenjōki Academy student, demanding she hand over the other envelopes. Things wound up getting tense, however, when it appeared the Skill-Outs were gradually getting killed off by the girl, who claimed to be able to freely kill anyone she had touched. When Misaka and I arrived on the scene, the girl, who had simply knocked out all the Skill-Outs using anesthetic and clever acting skills, recognized both Misaka and I as the "originals". "Wait, originals, what are you talking about? This night just keeps on getting weirder and weirder" I said with a confused expression present on my face. However, neither Misaka or I realized at the time, or would have ever imagined. That this, would unfortunately be, the first of many future events. That would wind up leading us to something quite horrific. But, I guess that is what happens when you deal with things that happen on the dark side of Academy City. I just hoped that Misaka and I would be able to survive all of it.
