But now that I'm back, I'm ready to cross the 900,000-word milestone. God, I can't wait until this story hits 1 million words, because that really is going to be a treat. Chapter Two Hundred and Nine
Post-Baptism Intimate Alone Time, Part Two
He ended up regretting not changing out of his jeans once he and Alex were in bed with each other, because he was not comfortable; and that was not just due to the fact that he still had his phone and wallet in his pocket, because he did. So, he ended up having to get up out of bed so that he can take them out of his pockets. Grabbing his phone from his pocket to do just that, Jay proceeded to set it down on his charger (while also grabbing his wallet at the same time); after which, he went ahead and set it down on his side table as well. After which, Jay felt some hands on his back this afternoon. More specifically, his beautiful wife's hand. Turning around to look at her, Jay smiled as she just looked so damn sexy as she sat there in her lingerie. "Are you sure that you want to do this?" Jay agreed with Alex as she asked him whether he wanted to do this, as he most definitely does want to do this; he wants to change out of his jeans and put something comfortable. You know me, I like being comfortable when I'm with the twins." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, smiling at the man she loves more. "And with me, as we hold each other close in bed of course." Jay agreed with Alex.
"Don't lie and say that you don't like the idea of me sitting in bed with you in my boxers, because you always like that feeling." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that. "Maybe you can at least keep your nice shirt out? That way, we can have it for nice pictures." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, as that was a good idea. After which, Jay walked over to his dresser. He then went ahead and found the shirt that he just took off. Picking it up, Jay then proceeded to make his way back over to his closet; however, that just confused Alex as she wasn't sure just why her husband was on his way to his closet. "Why are you going to the closet bae?" Turning to look at Alex, Jay smiled as he went to grab one of his hangers. "I'm just grabbing a hanger so that they aren't any creases or wrinkles in my shirt." Alex took a breath as she heard Jay say that. "Maybe you just keep your jeans out too, you can wear them again for the pictures. Sweats is just too casual, plus they show you off too much." Jay smirked as he heard Alex say that, before carrying his shirt over to his dresser; after which, he proceeded to hang it up on his dresser (where it needs to be at the moment, so that it stays clean).
After which, Jay returned to his hamper so that he could grab the jeans that he was just wearing; that way, he could wear them again after he and Alex are done having some intimate time with each other in bed. "I just hope you know that you aren't putting that dress on again, because I really want you to relax. Heck, maybe I should just put a t-shirt on; something that we can get dirty." Alex thought about what Jay said, before smiling as that most definitely is a good idea. "I like that idea, especially since it's something that only a dad would think about." Turning his head, Jay agreed with Alex; smiling at her, Jay then decided to make his way over to their bed so that he can give his gorgeous wife a kiss. After all, that's what they both wanted him to do right now. They wanted him to lean over her and kiss her softly; and boy is Alex glad that he just leaned over her and went ahead and kissed her. Moving her hand to his neck, Alex smirked as she leaned in and proceeded to take things nice and slow with the man she loves, her husband Jay Halstead. "God, I love you so much; and I am so proud to be your wife." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, feeling the same way about his sexy wife.
After which, Jay just smiled due to the fact that this really is exactly what they both want right now. They need to relax, and they need to hold each other close. "Are you getting in bed now? Or do you need to do something else?" Jay smiled at Alex as she asked him whether he was able to get in bed with her right now, which he most definitely can; and he will as well, simply due to the fact that he was ready to join the woman he loves. That way, he can hold her close and make her happy. But at the same time, he also knows that they need to talk; and that's something that they're going to do as they relax in bed with each other, because he really wouldn't mind getting some alone time with the woman he loves. Well, her, and their furry friend Max (who soon jumped onto bed behind Alex so that he could join them). After which Jay tugged Alex close to him, smiling as she slipped her arm under his head (while also putting her hand on his chest. After which, Jay put his hand on her hips and smiled due to the fact that this is exactly what they both want to do. They want to hold each other close, and they want to talk to each other for a moment, which is more than okay with Alex.
Moving her hand to Jay's face, Alex smiled as she leaned her forehead against his and just concentrated on him; at the same time, Jay moved his hand to her arm and leaned her forehead against his. "I love you Alex." Alex agreed with Jay as he told her that he loves her, which is something that she most definitely knows; and that's simply due to the fact that Jay is the love of her life, and there's nobody that she wants to be married to other than the man she's currently holding close to her (and taking things nice and slow with). And that was something that Jay was really enjoying to tell you the truth, the feeling of her soft lips on his. "I love you Alex." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that. "I love you too Jay, forever." Jay smiled as he heard Alex say that. "So, as much as I want to take things nice and slow with you; we both know that there's a reason why we're in bed with each other right now, and it's not because our family is letting us have sexy with each other." Alex laughed as she heard Jay say that, as that really was funny; and something she loved the idea of. And that was why she ended up pushing Jay onto his back and moving to crawl onto his chest to snuggle with him.
And if that was what Alex wanted to do, then Jay was more than okay with that; as he loves the feeling of his beautiful wife sleeping on his chest, or just laying down there. Especially when she's just wearing lingerie, because it's really sexy. I mean, what husband doesn't like the feeling of lingerie on his chest; especially when your wife is the one wearing it. "So, what are we going to do?" That's when Jay decided to slip up in bed some more, so that he can lean back against his pillow (and therefore give Alex something to lean against); but at the same time, he kept his hand on her back to keep her close to her. Because at the end of the day, that was something that they both wanted; to cuddle up to each other, to hold each other, and to just relax. And ever since she gave birth, Alex hasn't felt like she's really had a chance to do that; she's always been taking care of the kids, while also recovering from giving birth. She hasn't had much time to put towards her marriage, which is something that she feels like she needs to do more of; because she loves Jay, and she wants to spend some time with her husband. Time that she hasn't had much of lately, but she's nervous.
Nervous as to whether that's what Jay wants, because she only wants to do it if he's okay with it; and she's not going to force him to go ahead with the plans that she wants to do, just because she wants to spend some alone time with her husband. But at the same time, Jay did tell her something; and that was that he needs to talk to her about his mental health, and that's worrying her. So maybe this is a good idea, for them to take some time with each other; so that they can really talk and be open with each other about things that they've been scared to talk about with each other when they have the twins. And if that means that they need to have their family watch the kids, then that's something that Alex wants; because she'd rather have Jay open up to her and be honest with her than spend time with the twins. And that's why Alex really thinks that the decision that they need to make is one that's already made. They already know that they want to be alone, and they just need to make sure that it's something that they're okay with; and that's why Alex was currently in the midst of cuddling up to the man she loves and kissing his chest softly. "Where's your head at Jay?"
Moving his hand to Alex's back, Jay took a breath as he proceeded to stroke her back; after which, he bent down and kissed the top of her head. "I'm trying to figure out how to talk to you about…" Joining in on what Jay was going to say, Alex spoke at the same time as him. "…how you want to be alone after we spend a bit of time with our family." Looking down at Alex, Jay was a bit shocked that she just said exactly what he was thinking….at the same time as him, which was even more surprising. "Okay, now that was really surprising." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I know." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, before smiling due to the fact that he really loves the woman he's currently in the midst of cuddling up to; especially as he ran his hand up and down her back, which sent chills all throughout Alex's body. Because there really is nothing like the feeling of Jay doing that for her, because it's just so damn comfortable, which is the entire reason why she likes it, and will always love the feeling of him holding her like this. It's exactly what they both want, and Alex is just so lucky to have Jay as her husband; especially as he's the love of her life.
He's the man of her dreams, and the only man that she could ever see herself being married to; and that's why she feels like they need this, even though they're also going to want to have this time at the end of the month. "The only question is whether us taking this time now, will stop us from taking time again at the end of the month while we celebrate our anniversary." Jay shook his head as he heard Alex say that, as that's not something that's going to happen. "I already have plans for that weekend, and they are not changing; people are going to want to help us, because I already told Hank that I want to take you out." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, glad that was the case. "Plus, Will and Natalie need to practice watching a kid. I mean, yes….we have twins; and they aren't having twins, but that doesn't mean anything to me. They can watch both of them, just as long as my brother doesn't hurt my princess." Alex laughed as she heard Jay say that, well aware that he is very protective of all of the women in his life; most of all, herself. And that's why she really does think that they need this, because they haven't had time like this is such a long time. "I miss you."
Those were the words that Jay needed to hear, the magic words that told her everything; that made Jay know just how he really felt, and how she truly missed him…especially considering how much he misses her, and how much he wants to hold her close; which is the exact reason why he decided to roll over onto his back and bring Alex with him. After which, Alex grabbed the sheets and tugged them up on top of the both of them; at the same time, Jay moved his hand to her leg (under the covers) and smiled as he looked up at the woman he loves. After which, Alex put her hand on his chest and smiled as she stared down into his eyes; meanwhile, Jay ran his hand up her body before moving his hand to her neck. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Jay smirked due to the fact that this really is everything that he wants to do right now; and that really was everything that he needed to know so that he could tell that he was going to be doing something special with his beautiful wife after the kids leave their home. And that would be spending some time with him, alone in their bed; and maybe he might even get some intimate time with her, because that'd be nice.
He wants to spend some time alone with his beautiful wife, and he just wants to take time with his wife as they hold each other close. "I think that we both know what you saying that means, right?" Moving her hand to his chest, Alex agreed with Jay as he said that; after which, Jay tugged her against his chest and then went to wrap her leg around his leg. Smirking at the feeling of Jay wrapping her leg around his, Alex put her hand on his neck and smiled as he leaned in so that he can take things nice and slow with the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you Jay, and I am so glad that we're thinking that we're going to take time alone. I think it's really what we need right now, because we haven't done it in a while." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, well aware that was the case. And now, it's time for them to do just that; they need to take some time alone with each other, which Alex just hopes that their families will understand. "Do you think that our family will understand that we need to take some time?"
Jay looked at Alex as she asked him that, before moving his hand to her neck; after which, he leaned in and proceeded to kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Jay smirked due to the fact that this is exactly what they both want to do right now. They want to hold each other close, and they just want to cuddle up to each other; and they want to do something that they haven't gotten a chance to do since she gave birth to the twins, and that would spend some time alone with each other. And heck, maybe they wouldn't even have to stay in their room; rather, they can go sit in the living room together. And wouldn't that be nice? If they can go sit in the living room with each other. "I think we both know what we're going to talk to our family about when we're downstairs now, how we want to have time with each other; but with the kids away. I just hope that they understand." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before smirking. "We can play the Will and Natalie need to practice having a kid."
Jay agreed with Alex, before smiling as he leaned in and proceeded to kiss her softly. Just taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Jay smirked due to the fact that this really is everything that they want to do. They want to hold each other close, and they want to have fun with each other. But right now, this is not the time for them to be intimate with each other; not when they have family downstairs. "God, I want to take things nice and slow with you; but we have family downstairs." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, well aware that was the case. "if that isn't the truth." Jay smirked as he heard Alex say that, before thinking about what they just did. "To think, I just got undressed." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that. "Then again, we are parents; and we need to do just that, so we can't really think that we could've done that." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, before leaning in so that he could kiss her softly. After which, Jay proceeded to take things nice and slow with his beautiful wife; the woman he loves.
He decided not to put his shirt on, yet. Rather, he was just wearing the pants her was going to war (jeans); that way, he and Alex can head back downstairs just as soon as he helps Alex finish getting ready in the washroom. And that was where he was currently walking into, as he wore nothing put his jeans for his beautiful wife, which most definitely was a sight that Alex enjoyed, because she always enjoys the sight of her husband when he's shirtless. "I feel like we got undressed for nothing, when we were just getting dressed right away." Turning around to face Jay as he said that, Alex wagged her finger to get him to walk over to here. "Come here." Holding his shirt in his hands, Jay was about to put it on while he was in here; but when Alex asked him to get close to her, he decided to keep his shirt off. And the truth was, that was the right thing to do; because he loves his wife, and he loves taking things nice and slow with her. And by him keeping his shirt off, that's exactly what he's going to do right now; he's going to take things nice and slow with his wife.
Setting his shirt down on the counter as he walked up to his beautiful wife, Jay smirked as he went ahead and put his hands on the counter next to her; that was, until he moved his hand to her hip and tugged her topless (with the exception of her sexy bra) body against his chest with the help of her own pants. And let's just say that Alex really liked that, because it was such a turn on; and it even led to Alex wrapping her arms around his neck and getting close to the man she loves more than anything. But still, she was a bit buzzled when it came to the fact that Jay decided to wear just jeans. "No shirt?" Jay nodded as Alex asked him whether he was really wearing sweats to go downstairs, or if this was just temporary. "Just for now." Alex just looked at her husband as he said that. "I'm a dad, and I'm just going to get spilled on. Why dirty some jeans that I can wear to work, when I can just wear these and be comfortable? Plus, I have been wearing uncomfortable clothes all day. Time for me to be comfortable at home, just like Natalie."
Alex looked at Jay as he said that. "But you're at least going to wear a collared shirt right? In case we do pictures?" Jay agreed with Alex as she asked him whether he was going to wear an appropriate shirt, as he was. "The same one that I wore while we were at the baptism, and that I wore when we were at the church." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, as she liked that shirt. "I liked that shirt." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, well aware that was the case. "I had a feeling that you were going to say that." Alex smirked as she heard Jay say that, before stepping close to him; after which, she put her hand son his toned chest before leaning up and proceeding to kiss the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. At the same time, Jay moved his hand to her neck and just started to take things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "God, I am so addicted to you." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Oh, I know that you're addicted to me; and always will be."
Jay just smiled as he heard Alex say that, before wrapping his arms around her; at the same time, Alex wrapped her arms around Jay's neck and just held him close to her. After all, that was exactly what they both wanted to do right now. They wanted to hold each other close, and just make sure that they relaxed with each other. But at the end of the day, they also need to make sure that they relax with each other; because the last thing that they want to do is get all intimate with each other when they have family over right now. And if Alex wants to get intimate with him, then that will have to take place here in their room. But Jay already knows that she doesn't want to be intimate with him right now, she wants to just get downstairs so that they can spend time with their family, which is why Jay just decided to lean back and stare into her eyes, as he wants to kiss her a kiss first. Moving his hand to the side of her neck, Jay smirked as he leaned in and just took things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you Alex, and I want you to always know that you're my whole world." Alex agreed with Jay as he told her that, well aware of that fact.
"Jay, you don't have to tell me that; because I already know that, and because you're my whole world." Moving her hand to Jay's face, Alex smiled as she leaned up and then proceeded to take things nice and slow with the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. "I will always know that, and you will always be my whole world; never doubt that." Jay agreed with Alex as she told him that, before bringing her body against his chest; at the same time, Alex put her hands on his chest and ran her hands down her loving husband's gorgeous body. The body that she wants to have against her tonight, and plans on getting at some point; after which, Jay moved his hand back to her neck with the hopes of kissing her. That was, until he heard his brother speak to him. "Hey Jay? Do you want us to order some Chinese or something for an early dinner? Or did you already set something up for supper?" Jay snickered a bit as he heard Will say that. "I'll be right down Will, in the middle of something. By the way, casual tonight right?"
Will agreed with Jay as he asked him whether Natalie's wearing sweats, before going to tell him. "Just make sure that you aren't shirtless in your sweats." Alex then decided to pay with her brother-in-law. "Awe, but I like it when my husband is shirtless." However, his brother was no laughing matter to Will. "Alex, do you want me and Natalie to watch the kids tonight?" Alex then shut up, getting quite nervous when it came to Will threatening her chance to be alone with her husband. "See you soon Will." Will agreed with Alex as she said that, before walking away so that he can go downstairs. Afterwards, Jay turned to look at his wife and just started to laugh. At the same time, Alex proceeded to slap his chest. "Hey, don't laugh mister. Last time I checked, you want to have me alone just as much as you do." Jay agreed with Alex as she told him that, before moving his hand to her neck; after which, he started to take things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "Oh guys, the answer to my question?"
Hearing his brother again, Jay groaned; but in the end, he relented. "Yes, please order it. We'll be right now. Now, how about you let me share one last kiss with my wife so that I can calm her hormones down." Alex just stared at Jay when he said that. "MY HORMONES!" And that sounded like Will's cue to leave. "I'm leaving." Alex agreed with Will as he said that, as she thought that was a good idea. "Sounds like a good idea Will." Will agreed with his sister-in-law, before going ahead with closing their door; and that was the way that Alex knew that she was once again alone with Jay, which is why she went to leave the bathroom. Following Alex, Jay was going to go out to the bedroom with her. However, that wasn't what Alex wanted; and she told him that as soon as she turned around. "Give me two minutes to get dressed, put your shirt on and that cologne I took out for you; then come out and join me." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, clearly able to see that she was a bit irritated, so he just let her walk away to calm down.
Walking out of his closet after getting changed (again), Jay took a breath as he watched Alex standing at her dresser while seemingly struggling a bit right now; and he could tell that right now, she was a bit stressed (which was not what she needed right now). Rather, she needs to take it easy; and she needs to relax, which was the entire reason that Jay put his jeans on in the first place. Because it would help her with calming down and breathing. Had he kept his sweats on, Alex would be turned on most of the night; and that was the last thing that he wanted for her. He wanted her to relax, and just take things easy. He doesn't want her to have to worry about anything….because that isn't healthy for anybody, especially not a while who is still recovering after giving birth to their twins. And that was why Jay was going to do this, wear jeans for her. And he just hopes that Alex appreciates the gesture and doesn't think that he's doing this because he wants her in bed (even though he does). He's doing this because he loves her, and that's the only reason that he's doing it. He's doing it simply because he loves her, and that was what he was going to tell Alex now that he was with her.
Walking up behind her, Jay decided to set his shirt down on the end of their bed (as her dresser is really close to it); after which, he moved close to Alex and put his hands on her hips so that he could concentrate on her. Moving his hands to her hips, Jay looked at his beautiful wife in the mirror as she truly is gorgeous, which is something that he hopes Alex already knows, without him having to say anything. And so far, he hasn't said anything; rather, he's just run his hands up and down her arm for a moment so that he can hold her close. And that truly was perfect, and exactly what Alex needed Jay to do as he held her close to him. It was perfect, and very comforting; as was her turning around so that she was facing the man she loves, with her hands on his chest. Stepping close to Alex after she turned around in his arms, Jay smiled as he just held her close (in silence) for a moment. After which, he brought her body close to her and then leaned in to kiss her softly; moving her hand to Jay's neck after he kissed her, Alex took things slow with him.
And let's just say that truly was everything that they both wanted to do right now, as it really was perfect; the way that they were holding each other, and just taking things nice and slow with each other. When Jay and Alex say that this is all they want to do right now, they truly mean that because it's just so damn perfect. It's very comfortable, and they are both very happy to be holding each other close. And since that's exactly what they're doing, as they stand in silence; it just makes them both smile, simply because it's what they want to do right now. They want to hold each other close, as they just take it easy and relax. "Sorry I didn't put my shirt on." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, well aware of the fact that he wasn't wearing a shirt right now; but she's okay with that, as it's calming her down. It's giving her a chance to relax, and just take it easy with the man she loves; because at the end of the day, that's really want she wants to do. She wants to make sure that they both relax and hold each other close. "It's okay. I like this right now."
Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, before getting close to her and holding her against his chest; at the same time, Alex wrapped her arms around his back and just held the love of her life close to her…because that's really what she wants to do right now. After which, she leaned back and turned her head so that she could look at the man she loves. Just smiling at him, Alex couldn't help but feel happy over the fact that she was currently standing this close to the man she loves, the man of her dreams, Jay Halstead. Leaning in to kiss him, Alex smirked due to the fact that this really is everything that she needs right now. She needs to hold the man she loves close to him, and just take things slow with him; and that's why Alex was really happy when she felt Jay move his hands to her hips as they held each other. Just taking things slow with Alex, Jay smirked due to the fact that this really is exactly what they both need to do right now; they need to hold each other close, and just take a breath as they remember just how much they love each other.
"I love you Alex, and I really hate it when we fight." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, well aware that was the case; after all, that's how she feels too. She really hates it when she and Jay fight, and it's the last thing that she wants to do with him. "Good, so that's agreed to; we have fighting with each other, so we're not going to fight right now." Jay laughed as he heard Alex say that, before stepping close to her; after which, he wrapped his arms around his beautiful wife and just held her against his chest. Leaning in, Jay smirked as he started to take things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you Alex, and I want you to think about that as we hold each other; and when we take it easy. Because that's what we need to do, especially when we're going downstairs with each other." Alex laughed as she heard Jay say that, as that most definitely is the case. "I think that's what I should be telling you, as you're the one that's shirtless." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, well aware that's the case.
He then went ahead and proceeded to grab his shirt, so that he could put it on; that way, he won't be shirtless anymore. And that's especially important, as they need to head downstairs so that they can spend some time with their family. "So, have we decided what we're going to tell people when it comes to the kids? Are we going to ask for time alone after we're done with hanging out as a family? Because we might as well pack the kids up?" Watching as Jay tugged his shirt down, Alex smiled as she stepped close to Jay once again; after which, she wrapped her arms around his neck, while Jay once again moved his hands to her hips. Leaning in, Jay then smirked as he took things nice and slow with his wife. "I want to do whatever I can to make you happy." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, well aware that was the case. "And you do an expert job when it comes to that, I hope you know that." Jay agreed with Alex as she told him that, and smiled simply because he was really happy at the moment, because he had his beautiful wife with him.
"By the way, I think we already know the kids aren't going to be here tonight; so, I think that we should, because that way Will has everything he needs for when he leaves with them, because we're taking him up on the offer." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before wrapping her arms around his neck; after which, Jay wrapped his arms around his beautiful wife as they both held each other close and just cuddled up to each other. But this hug wasn't going to last long, as they both knew that they had to get going; but not without one last kiss, which Alex just secured as she leaned back and went to steal a kiss from Jay. "I love you." Jay smiled as he heard Alex say that, before kissing her once again. "I love you too Alex, now let's get out of here so that we can get everything done; and then we can head downstairs and spend some time with the family, before we get some more time as husband and wife." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, moving to grab his hand as they got ready to pack up their kids ahead of a nice night alone without them.
