Hi Readers: What are you guys thinking of this new turn in the story? An early anniversary dinner for Matt and Gabby? Hope you like. But first, a quick note. I know this day is getting long, but I have decided that I want to cover this as much as I can. Not too sure whether I'm going to go back to the Halsteads today, simply because I have this idea. Now, let's get back to the story, and the meal.

Chapter Two Hundred and Eleven
The Casey Celebrate Three Years
Romantic Anniversary Dinner, Part One: The Appetizers

They decided that tonight's meal was going to be casual, without anybody having to even say that today was going to be casual; and that was simply because of how Matt and Gabby were currently acting with each other. They were being very informal, and just so laissez-faire with each other, which was exactly how they both want to spend their anniversary. They want to just take it easy, and they want to relax. I mean, what's better than the idea of them holding each other close…as they enjoy some appetizers that were prepared by their private chef, who was trained at the Cordon Bleu in Paris? Well, that's something that the couple most definitely do enjoy; simply because of how good the food he makes is, and how he just does everything perfectly. And that's why Matt and Gabby are so happy that they have Pascale in their life, to make them whatever their hearts desire. But not as much as they are happy to have each other in their life, especially when they're with (and all over) each other, which is exactly what Matt and Gabby are now. They're reunited once again, and ready to hold each other close; for the rest of the night, while they wear a couple of outfits.

The first one? The tight dress that Gabby was already wearing on their beach walk, and something that makes Gabby want her husband more than anything in the entire world; and that was because he looks incredibly handsome in the shirt and slacks that he was wearing, at least for now. They both know, at the end of the day; that they are going to just get undressed as soon as they're done having supper and get in the bath with each other. Because that's something that Matt already promised Gabby, that they would take a bath with each other; and that they would enjoy each other, one way or another. Whether it be through just calm, quiet time in bed or by being intimate with each other, Matt doesn't care; the only thing that matters to him at the end of the day, is that his beautiful wife is happy. And that most definitely was exactly what Gabby is at the moment. She's happy that she and Matt are together at the moment and are going to spend the rest of the day holding each other close; as you should on your anniversary, especially after Matt surprised her with this. But now, he needs to stop doing something else; and that would be teasing her by still standing up.

God, she loves her husband, but she most definitely doesn't like the fact that he's still standing up; when he should instead be sitting down with her and holding her as they kiss each other. That was, until Gabby realized what Matt really wanted as he walked up to her; even thought he wasn't going to say it, she already knew. "I can only imagine that you're expecting me to do something for you?" smirking as Gabby asked him that, Matt nodded as he most certainly was expecting her to do something; and that was get up, so that she can give him a kiss. Doing just that, Gabby smiled as she got up for the man she loves and stepped close to him; but as she did so, Matt was able to notice something. And that was that she was much shorter now, as she was no longer wearing her wedged high heel sandals. "Sorry, I took my sandals off; my dogs were killing me." Matt snickered a bit as he heard Gabby say that, before getting close to her; after which, he moved his hand straight to her neck (while also wrapping his arm around her waist). At the same time, Gabby cuddled up to him and put her hand on his chest. Bending down shortly afterwards, Matt smirked as he took things slow with Gabby.

"I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that he loves her, as she was well aware of the fact that he loves her simply based on the way that he treats her; and that would be like a queen, which she is to him. She's his queen, and the woman he always wants to please; and not just sexually, but in the most romantic ways. And that's why he and Gabby are going to be enjoying a nice meal that he asked Pascale to prepare for them, which he was more than okay with doing for the both of them; after all, what's better than the two of them getting a personally prepared dinner from their private chef? In Matt's opinion, there's nothing better than that; and he only wants the best for his beautiful wife, which is the exact reason why she's going to get a nice meal made by Pascale today. "Listen, as much as I love standing with you; I would really like to sit down and enjoy some of those appetizers that Pascale seemed to have brought out ahead of me coming outside." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, smiling at the man she loves. "They're really good, and I am loving them." Matt then saw that they had some chocolate covered strawberries, which Gabby has yet to touch. "I can only assume that there are some deserts that you refuse to touch, at least while I'm not out here with you? Because you want something."

Smirking as she looked at Matt, she could tell that he was looking at the chocolate covered strawberries, which she's yet to touch, because he wasn't here to feed her. "I mean, there's a reason why I would like someone else to touch them; a very romantic reason for it to happy. I mean unless you aren't interested in doing that for me." Looking at his wife as he got close to her (and wrapped his arm around her), Matt shook his head and brought her body close to him. "Never say that again." After which, Matt proceeded to grab her leg, and turned Gabby in the process; that way, her legs are in his lap. At the same time, Gabby moved her hand to the back of his head and ran her fingers through Matt's hair; getting close to her in the process, Matt smiled as he stroked her leg and just held her close. "How are you feeling right now? Comfortable?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he asked her whether she was comfortable, as she most definitely was. And that was all thanks to the most wonderful husband in the entire world, Mr. Matthew Casey. "I'm always comfortable with you." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, really happy that was the case; and that it'll always be the case.

I mean, what's better than the two of them holding each other close. He then proceeded to run his hand up and down her leg as they both cuddled up to each other, which is exactly what Gabby wanted to have Matt do; along with feeding her of course, because that's something that she's interested in too. But right now, she's more than okay with him just doing this for her; and that's due to the fact that it's really comfortable, and it really makes her smile. And that's because Matt is holding her, and just making sure that she's happy right now. "I know you are, and I'm just glad that we decided to do this; as much as we love the boys, I think we really needed this time together." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, because she most certainly agreed with the man she loves as he said that; and that was due to the fact that things are about to get a lot busier, because of the two little girls that are currently in her stomach. More specifically, that are currently kicking for her; and that's why she decided to grab Matt's hand and put it on her stomach. "I think it's also due to the fact that we have such a busy life, that's just about to get much busier because of these little ladies."

Smiling as he heard Gabby say that, Matt agreed with Gabby as he stroked her stomach with his thumb as they both enjoyed the feeling of their girls kicking; at the same time, Matt knew that he needed to bring it up. And Gabby knew it too, which is why she decided to do it first. Moving her hand to Matt's cheek, Gabby turned his head so that they were looking into each other's eyes; after which, she brought his face close to hers and kissed him softly. And let's just say that really made Matt happy, which he showed her by grabbing her hand, and turning his head so that he could kiss it; and well, that just made Gabby smile as she held Matt close to her (and he held her hand in his lap). Because that truly was what they needed at the moment, to hold each other as they just relaxed with each other on the back deck of their home, which actually made her think about something, and how she would really like to sit in his lap right now. That way, she was in his arms, and all cuddled up to him; and she was certain that Matt wanted the same thing, because he always wants that. So, she needs to ask him to move. "Listen, do you think we can…" Snickering, Matt smiled at her.

He then proceeded to bring her hand to his lips again, kissing it softly before turning his head and leaning in to kiss her softly. "You want to sit in the corner?" Gabby agreed with Matt. "Yes, because I want to lean back against you; and I want to put my feet up easier, if that makes sense." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she said that, before getting close to her once more; after which, he moved his hand to her neck and leaned in to kiss her softly. In fact, he moved both of his hands to her neck as he kissed her, which is exactly what Gabby wanted, as it made her feel extremely happy. "I just want to hold you in my arms for the rest of the night, as we cuddle up to each other and relax. And if you want to do it in the corner of the couch, then that's where we're going to cuddle up to each other." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, glad that was the case; after which, she decided to get up so that she could make her way over to where they were going to sit together. However, Matt had to do something first; and that was sit in the corner. "Hey, stay there and relax. I need to go sit down first." Gabby agreed with Matt, smiling as he got up so that he could change where he was sitting.

That, and because he wanted to kiss her, which he soon did, as he moved his hand to her neck and leaned over her. Kissing his gorgeous wife softly, Matt smirked due to the fact that he truly loves his gorgeous wife more than anything in the entire world; and he really can't wait to spend the rest of the night with her, holding her in his arms wherever that might be. "How about we talk about what you want to do tonight? We can figure out our plans and everything." Smirked as she heard Matt say that, as she absolutely loved that idea. "I love that idea. But can you please go sit down, and get comfortable? The sooner you're comfortable and sitting on the couch; the sooner I can join you and get comfortable in your lap." Snickering as he heard Gabby say that, Matt was well aware that was the case; and he could also see that his girl was getting impatient when it came to what she wanted, so he decided to do as he promised her he'd do. He walked away from her (for now) so that he could go sit back down in the corner of the couch, where Gabby was going to join him; then, she would sit down in his lap as they cuddled up to each other on their wedding anniversary.

Leaning back against Matt's chest after sitting down in between his legs and cuddling up to him in his lap; Gabby smiled as she leaned her head back against his chest, while Matt wrapped his arm around her. After which, he put his hand out for Gabby to grab, which is something that Gabby always wants to do when they hold each other close, so it's just second nature now what it comes to what they do with each other as they sit with each other. And boy was this nice, so he's more than happy to be holding Gabby like this; but before he could really be happy, was that he had to ask his beautiful wife whether she was comfortable. Turning his head, Matt smiled as he kissed the side of her head before whispering in her ear. "Comfortable?" Smiling as Matt asked her whether she was comfortable, Gabby nodded her head because she most certain was comfortable as they sat down together like this. "What do you expect? I'm sitting in your arms, and holding you close to me." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case. "I mean, what's better than us doing this?" Matt just laughed as he turned his head and kissed the side of her head, which she loved.

And Matt knew that more than anything, which is the entire reason why he was holding her like this; as he also wrapped his legs around hers, and just held her close. After which, he turned his head and looked out at the ocean; and he had to say, he loves the feeling of this. The feeling of him holding his wife in his arms, as they both look at the ocean together. "I'm surprised that we haven't sat down out here yet today? Because I know that I most definitely do like this feeling." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before smiling as he reached over to grab the plate that they had out with the appetizers. More specifically, some mini sandwiches that would give her protein while they wait for supper to arrive, which is something that Gabby appreciated, as she needed to eat. Grabbing a sandwich, Gabby proceeded to take a bit and smiled due to the fact that this is exactly what they need for the sake of their girls. "So, what are you thinking of our anniversary plans so far?" Gabby smirked as Matt asked her whether she's enjoying their anniversary plans. "Let me see, I have my husband alone with me as we celebrate three years of marriage." Matt smiled and agreed.

"I think that's all I really need to tell you the truth. I have you with me, and we're spending a bunch of time with each other; and that's all I really need for our anniversary, even though we're mourning." Taking a breath as he heard Gabby say that, Matt was well aware of the fact that they were still morning; and he couldn't help but wonder whether she needed to talk to him about that still, and that was why she was in the midst of bringing it up to him right now. So, he decided to just grab a party favor; after which, he went to take a bite of the little mini quiche that was set out there. He then went ahead and kissed the side of Gabby's head. "Are you still thinking about that?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he asked her whether she was still thinking about the miscarriage, as it was going to be on her mind for a while. "Sorry if I'm thinking about it." Matt shook his head as he heard Gabby say that, before turning his head and pressing his lips to her forehead. "Hey, look up at me." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, doing just that for her husband.

"You never need to apologize for wanting to talk about the miscarriage, because I'm always going to be here. You're my wife, I love you, and it's my job to help you; if you need to talk about it to me, then you always can." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, glad that was the case; after which, she decided to roll over and just cuddle up to her amazing husband some more…well, as much as she could in this dress. But still, it was perfect; and Matt was really happy that this is what they're in the midst of doing right now, as Gabby is always comfortable when she's in his arms. Running his hand down her back, Matt smiled as he kissed her forehead softly as they both held each other close. "I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I love you too Matt, and I am so glad that this is exactly what we need to do." Matt smirked due to the fact that this is all they need to do as they celebrate with each other, before moving to wrap his arm around her back as they both held each other close; and god, he loves it.

He loves the feeling of his beautiful wife in his arms, and he's always going to be comfortable when he holds his beautiful wife in his arms; and that's why they're currently in the midst of doing this right now, and they're just holding each other close for right now. But even better, he has the ability to look down at the most beautiful woman in the entire world so that he can just admire her; at the same time, he can also give her the comfort that she needs as they both held each other close. Running his hand down Gabby's back, Matt smirked as he turned his head and then kissed her forehead softly once again; after all, that's exactly what she really wants right now. She wants to be held by her husband, and she wants to cuddle up to him. "Are you comfortable?" Looking down at his wife, Matt was a bit shocked that she would even ask her whether he was comfortable; because of course he's comfortable. Why wouldn't he be comfortable, as he holds the most beautiful woman in the entire world in his arms? This is exactly what he was, as he eats a bit.

Going to grab some more of the appetizers, Matt smiled as he went to take a bite; after which, Matt just smiled as he looked down at the gorgeous woman he loves (while also kissing his forehead). "So, what are you thinking about right now as I hold you?" Gabby smiled as she heard Matt ask her that. "Just how the past year has felt like a whirlwind, and everything has just been really good for us; I have no idea how to say this, and I am just still thinking about everything." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, as that most definitely was exactly what he wanted too. But at the same time, there was something that he didn't want; and that was her mind going all over the place, as that was the last thing that his beautiful wife's brilliant mind to do. As much as he loves all of the ideas that she comes up with for the company, that doesn't mean that he wants her to think about that right now; and that's why she decided to turn his head and kiss her forehead softly, before running his hand up and down her back. "I want you to relax baby, take it easy."

Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I promise, I'm breathing and just relaxing; I'm going to keep doing that as long as I need to." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before running his hand up and down her back; after which, he turned his head and just smiled as he kissed her forehead once again. And god, he is so glad that this is what they're doing. "So, what are we going to do after supper?" Gabby smiled as she looked up at Matt, before sitting up and just looking at her husband; after which, she got close to him and then laid down on his chest. Wrapping her arms around Matt's neck, Gabby smirked as she looked at him; at the same time, Matt moved his hands to her neck and took things nice and slow with each other. After all, this is just what they both want to do. "God, we really need to eat; because I want to take you to our room." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, laughing as she proceeded to cuddle up to her man once again. At the same time, he ran his hand up and down Gabby's back.

After which, he smiled as he turned his head and kissed her forehead softly; and that was due to the fact that they are both really enjoying this time that they're having with each other right now, simply because it's their anniversary. But it's not just their anniversary, but it's also their anniversary dinner. And speaking of anniversary dinner, Pascale soon walked over to them once again. "I can see that somebody's getting tired. So, if you guys would like to eat…then I can plate the food and bring it out to you." Gabby smiled as she heard Pascale say that. "I'd love that Pascale." Pascale agreed with Gabby as she said that, before smiling at the both of them; after which, he turned to look at the plates that used to have the appetizers on them. "May I?" Matt agreed with Pascale, before smiling as he bent down to pick up the appetizer plates; after which, Pascale turned around so that he could walk back into the kitchen. At the same time, Matt turned to look at Gabby and kissed her forehead softly. "Move out, and I'll help you out."

Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, that way he could help her up.

Getting up, Matt smiled as he looked down at his beautiful wife; and god, does she look extremely beautiful. And he's really happy that the two of them are going to just have a nice meal together. They're going to enjoy a nice meal on their anniversary, before going ahead with making their way back to their room; where they will either relax in bed, or they're going to take a bath. He doesn't know yet, but all that matters is that they're going to enjoy some time with each other. And now, that's what they're going to start doing. Grabbing Gabby's hand, Matt smiled as he helped her up and then went to get close to his beautiful wife; at the same time, he moved his hands to her stomach once again. Smirking due to the fact that he was really happy with his gorgeous wife, Matt bent down and then proceeded to kiss her softly; taking things nice and slow with the most beautiful woman in the entire world, Matt smiled due to the fact that this really is everything that they want. But now, they want to go enjoy a nice meal. Walking over to the table, Matt smiled. "I swear, I am so ready to have this nice meal with you." Gabby laughed as she heard Matt say that, well aware of that fact.

After which, Matt smiled as he led her right over to the table; he then went to grab her chair and smiled as he turned to look at his beautiful wife, while tugging it out. "So, you ready for this meal?" Gabby laughed as she heard Matt say that, before moving to sit down on the chair that Matt just pulled out for her. "I mean, what woman doesn't want to enjoy a meal with her husband; on their wedding anniversary, prepared by a professional chef that we hired?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before watching as she sat down. After which, he pushed the chair in just like he needed to do; after which, Matt walked around the table so that he can sit down in front of his beautiful wife. Just looking at her as they sat down, Matt smirked due to the fact that they are both really happy; after which, he pulled his chair in and just sat at the table as they waited to be served. Sitting down with Gabby, Matt smiled at his beautiful wife before reaching for her hand. Leaning over, Matt smiled as he proceeded to kiss the woman he loves. "Happy anniversary beautiful." Gabby agreed with Matt, smiling as that was most definitely what it was; a happy anniversary.
