I know, shocker that I'm already at two chapters today; that means that I have a bunch more time to post some more chapters, which I hope that you guys enjoy. Now, what to you say we get back to supper with the Caseys? And of course, some conversations that we all enjoy.

The Caseys Celebrate Three Years
Romantic Anniversary Dinner, Part Two: The Meal

The appetizers that Pascale made for the both of them tonight most definitely were exactly what the couple wanted to start this nice meal with each other, as they truly were delicious; and one of the many highlights to come of the meal so far, as this is just one of the most romantic times that she and Matt are going to be sharing with each other. Something that they haven't done with each other in a long time, which she's more than happy about; because she loves spending time with the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. She loves being with him, and she loves holding him close; but right now, that was not what she was doing. But she was okay with that, because of what they're about to eat; the nice meal that Pascale is bringing them from the kitchen, which is something that they both always enjoy. Not having to get up and make supper for each other, and just get this time with each other. And right now, that's what they're going to do; as they also strike up a conversation that they both want to have, before supper arrived.

"So, what did you think of the appetizers?" Looking up at her husband, Gabby smiled as she truly did enjoy the appetizers that they had. "They were really good, and I am so glad that Pascale made them; they were just perfect, and they always taste good. And even better, they always taste the exact way that I like them." Smiling, Matt looked down as he went to grab his beer (which Pascale brought him after he cleared their plates); his one and only beer that he was going to have tonight, which is Gabby's anniversary treat to him. But he wasn't going too fast, as he wanted to make sure that they just enjoyed this time. And he didn't want to be drunk as they enjoyed this time together, because he wants to remember every single inch of it. "So, what are you thinking about right now Gabby?" Gabby smiled as she looked at Matt. "Oh, just how my husband has been so good in not wanting to work today." Matt laughed as he heard Gabby say that, as that most definitely is something that he was happy about. "I know that was going to meal a lot to you."

Gabby agreed with Matt, because that was something that they both wanted more than anything; time where they can give each other their undivided attention, which is what they're going to be doing for the rest of the night. Both out here, and in bed with each other; because that's what they want at the end of the day, they want to have each other in bed. But if that doesn't include intimate time, then Matt is more than okay with that; because at the end of the day, he loves his wife. And when it comes to what he wants, he wants to do whatever he can to make sure that she has a health pregnancy; because so far, that's exactly what she's had so far. She's had a very easy pregnancy, even though there was some drama; drama that we don't need to explain, as it's related to the miscarriage that she suffered. And for some reason, Matt can just tell that she's not thinking about it right now; and he's glad that's the case, especially since he loves spending time with his wife…which is the entire reason why he isn't working right now, as it's their day.

Reaching for Gabby's hand, Matt smiled as he held it and just looked at the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world; because he wants to remind her about that fact, that today is their anniversary. And that means that she isn't going to find him working, as he wants to concentrate all of his love and attention on her. "And there's a reason for that Gabby because today is our day. Today is a day where I get to celebrate the fact that we've been married for three years, which is just a fraction of how long I plan on being married to the love of my life." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, well aware that was the case; because she felt the same way about Matt. Matt isn't just her husband: he's also the love of her life, the father of her children, and the only man that she can ever see herself being married to. Which is the entire reason that she's glad that they're here because she didn't think that this is where she thought that they would be a year ago. And there was a reason for that, which she plans on sharing with Matt.

"Can I tell you something Matt?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, seemingly starting to get quite concerned at the moment. "Of course, baby, what's wrong?" Taking a breath as she turned to look at her husband, Gabby teared up a bit before going to grab her napkin; at the same time, Matt got up and got close to his girl. "Hey, what's wrong baby?" Taking a breath, Gabby turned her head and looked at the man she loves; after which, she put her hand on his face. "If you asked me a year ago, I didn't think I would be here; let alone would I be pregnant with our daughters. As brave as I wanted to be…" Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case; after which, he got up and moved his hand to her neck. He then leaned in and proceeded to kiss her softly, taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "Hey, it's okay. Gabby, it's okay. We're both here right now." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before moving to hug him, which Matt knew that she really needed, especially now.

"And I promise that we're always going to be here with each other Gabby, forever." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before watching as he got up; after which, he leaned over her and kissed her softly. Just taking things nice and slow with Matt as he did that, Gabby was happy. "I love you Matt." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case. "I love you too Gabby, and I want you to remember that as you sit here; if you need me, then I promise that I will hold you close to me." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before smiling at him. "Thank you." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before putting his hand on her neck and kissing her once again; after all, that's what she needs from him right now. She needs him to kiss her, so that she can feel better. And if this is making her feel better, then Matt is more than happy about that, which is why Matt is more than okay with kissing her, because he knows that it makes her feel better instantly. And he's going to make sure that she knows that, as he sits down with her.

Putting his hand out, Matt motioned for Gabby to grab it for him, which she promptly did the moment he asked her to grab his hand, so that he could give her the comfort that she needs right now. After all, she does need to be reminded at times just how much he truly loves her; which is more than anything in the entire world, which will always be the case. "Gabby, at the end of the day; I'm your husband, and I think we've both learned our mistakes over the past two years. I know that the last two years have been really hard, and full of stress. Many near death experiences, fights, tragedies, and so much more; and I hope you know that I'm always going to be sorry for it all." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "And I will always regret those words that I said before you left to go to Puerto Rico, so don't even try and say anything about me not regretting those words." Gabby laughed and agreed with her husband. "Oh, I'm never going to feel that way again; especially not when I proved you wrong."

Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that, before getting up and moving back to his chair; but this time, he brought it closer to Gabby so that he can continue to hold her hand. After all, that's what she needs. She needs to hold his hand and feel him be there, which is something that Matt's more than comfortable providing for his wife; because he wants to make sure that she's okay, especially since he knows that her emotions aren't completely there right now. "Sorry, I feel horrible for doing this right now." Shaking his head, Matt just looked at Gabby and proceeded to stroke her hand. "Hey, I don't want to hear that. I don't want to hear you apologize because you have nothing to apologize for baby. I know that the past couple years have been hard for the both of us, and I am just trying to say that I'm happy that we worked through it all Gabby, because that's something that we need to celebrate and be proud of." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case; especially as they have a really nice life now, with children.

"I have to say though, I am not going to complain about the fact that our life is much different than it was a year ago." Matt snickered as he heard Gabby say that, as that really was an understatement; probably the biggest one that he's heard in a long time, as their entire life has been turned upside down. "Well, I think that's one of the biggest understatements that I've ever heard. I mean, in the past year we learned that we're wealthy, started a company, I got diagnosed with PTSD, we had the boys, we got a dog, moved a couple times, and then got pregnant with the girls." Gabby snickered a bit as she turned her head and looked at the man she loves, before going to grab his hand again. "Oh, is that all we did this year? I thought we did a lot more." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, as he was thinking the same thing; along with the fact that he was ready for some more food, which he was about to get as Pascale was coming out with supper. "Well, I think you guys are going to be happy about this. I have supper for you."

Turning her head, Gabby smiled as she looked up at their personal chef who was carrying their supper; at the same time, she wiped her eye with her napkin. However, that only made Pascale wonder about something. "Are you ready for supper madame Casey? If you need a moment to cry a bit…" Interrupting her chef, Gabby smiled as she was more than ready to eat; especially since she was quite hungry. "Pascale, if you finish your sentence; then I am telling you to leave us ALL of the leftovers, and you don't get to bring any back home." Pascale agreed with Gabby as she said that, smiling at her. "It's okay, I can make my own food; because I would rather have fresh food, that I get to cook for my family." Matt agreed with Pascale as he said that, before smiling at his chef. "How are Melanie and the kids? Sorry if I forgot the names. Two sons right?" Pascale agreed, smiling. "Alexandre et Jacques. They were born October 19th."

Quick Note: I want to just say this. I know that I previously mentioned that Melanie was pregnant, and that they had kids. But I forget the names of the kids, and whether they are. I just know that they were having twins, and that they would be born before their anniversary. So, I have decided to just change it to what I said up there; but this time, I remembered to write it. But now, that's the information that you have about his kids. Their names are Alexandre and Jacques, and they were born October 19th.

Turning his head, Matt then remembered something. "Did you guys already book your flight to Paris for Christmas?" Pascale shook his head. "We're having our family come here instead, because it's just much easier with twins." Matt agreed with Pascale as he said that, smiling at him. "If you need anything, just let me know and I can give you a hand." Pascale agreed with Matt as he said that, but he most definitely isn't going to need anything. "Mr. Casey, you already give my family too good of a life. Now, I'm going to let you go so that you can celebrate your anniversary." Matt agreed with Pascale as he said that, before smiling at him. "Thank you Pascale and see you at another time." Pascale agreed with his boss, before finally walking away so that he can give his boss privacy with his wife; after all, it is their anniversary…and he knows that they both want to celebrate it alone with each other (and now, they are once again).

Taking another bit of her food that she was enjoying with Matt, Gabby smiled due to the fact that she truly is happy right now. She has the man she loves here with her, and that's all that matters at the end of the day; that they're together as they celebrate their anniversary, and that makes her happy. Oh, and it doesn't hurt that her husband is a real stud; with a really nice body, especially when they're in bed with each other (and he's running his hands all over her). God, they way he does that just makes her so happy. She really can't wait for that to happen again soon, but first she needs to just finish eating and take some time with her husband. Time that will soon lead to them being intimate with each other, which Matt knows; especially since he knows that she's wearing lingerie for him. Taking a bite, Matt smirked as he looked at his gorgeous wife. "So, are you still comfortable in that lingerie that you're wearing for me?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he asked her whether she was still comfortable. "And I have no regrets changing into it." Matt agreed.

Taking another bite, Matt smiled as he looked at the woman he loves. "You know, we don't need to do the bath tonight if your too tired right?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I know baby, and I promise that I always know that we don't need to do things if I'm tired; you always say it, so it's basically engraved in my head now." Matt agreed with Gabby as he went ahead and took a bite of his salad, along with some of his steak. "Just need to say it constantly, because there are times where that thick skull of yours makes it hard for you to get things in there." Gabby just looked at Matt as he said that, a bit unimpressed over the fact that he just said that. "Seriously? Are you trying to tell me not to have sex with you tonight?" Matt smiled as he heard gabby say that. "No, because I already know that I'm not getting any, or at least not expecting any when you're tired like you are right now." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before going ahead with taking another bite of her steak tonight. "This is really good."

Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that before smirking. "I only buy the best of food for my family." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that because that most certainly is the case. "Oh, I know that's the case; and I love the food that we buy." Matt just laughed das he heard Gabby say that. "God, when was the last time that we even did groceries?" Gabby smiled. "It's been a long time, because we haven't done it since the whole less started in Hawaii." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before taking a breath as that brings something up. "Can I ask you something on that topic?" Gabby agreed with Matt, before smiling at him. "Of course, you can baby." Taking a breath, Matt looked at his wife. "What are we thinking when it comes to security? I mean, I know that we always need to be safe….but I feel like since it happened…" Gabby took a breath, looking at Matt. "You've had your guard up more?" Looking up at Gabby, Matt let out a sigh. "You've noticed?" Gabby agreed with Matt. "Baby, how could I not notice what you're doing?"

Matt agreed with Gabby as he went to grab some of the mushrooms Pascale made, because they are equally as delicious. "Baby, you are always so worried for us; and I can see how protective you always are for our family, and how you always want what's best. You take on so much as my husband, and I really want you to know just how much it means to me that you put that stress on you; just so that I can take it easy during the pregnancy." Reaching out for Gabby's hand, Matt proceeded to grab it as he wanted to remind her of something. "Gabby, you're my wife; it's my job to make sure that you aren't too stressed, and that you take it easy during the pregnancy. I mean that from the bottom of my heart, and you're never going to be able to tell me that I need to take it easy; because it's my job to worry about you, and it's my job to take care of you while you're pregnant." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before deciding to get up for a moment so that she could kiss him again, which is something that Matt is more than okay with.

And that's why he just pushed himself back from the table, leaving Gabby enough place so that she can sit in his lap, which she promptly did, just as soon as she walked up to him. But rather than sit across his lap, Gabby sat down in his lap with her legs next to him. And god, now that really is a turn on; so much so, that Matt ended up sitting up and putting his hands on her back. Wrapping her arms around Matt's neck shortly after he put his hands on her neck and sat up, Gabby smirked due to the fact that she loves Matt more than anything in the entire world; so much so, that she just bent down and proceeded to take things nice and slow with him this evening. And god, Matt loves that so much; because it's really sexy, and exactly what he wants to have right now (as she sits in his lap). Heck, whether she was sitting in his lap or not; this would still be what he wanted, because he loves her so much. And with the hormones being even more present, well that just turns him on even more. "Fuck, you're such a turn on baby." Gabby agreed.

She then proceeded to get out of his lap and made her way back over to her seat; that way, she could tease her husband and get back to eating. And boy, did Gabby tease him; because that was a hot experience, one that Matt will never forget. But it also comes with a lot of questions, one of which he's going to ask as soon as Gabby is sitting down again, which she's in the midst of doing. So, there's no better time to ask her said question. Getting comfortable in her chair, Gabby smiled as she went to grab her fork so that she could keep eating; and that's why Matt didn't ask the question right away, but decided to wait a bit so that Gabby could eat some more. Or at least, that was his plan; just until Gabby noticed that he was looking at her in a funny way, which is exactly why he needed to fess up. "Okay, what's going on Matt?" Matt sighed. "I guess, I'm just taking this in…." Reaching his hand out, Matt grabbed Gabby's and smiled at her. "How things are going to be different on our next anniversary. Four kids, a business; it's going to be a lot to juggle."

Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "But we're going to do it together, and that's all that matters at the end of the day; that we do it together. But if you feel like we need more time together, then I can always take a step back from the clothing line." Matt looked at Gabby as she told him that, as that was the last thing that he wanted her to do; he didn't want her to step away from the clothing line, because that's her creation. "Absolutely not. I don't want you to give up anything Gabby. You'd never ask me to completely end the business, so I can't ask you to do the same thing." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that's the case. "Did I ever tell you that you're the best husband in the entire world, and that I am very proud to be your wife?" Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, well aware that was the case. "Listen, how about we finish eating? Because we both know where we both want to go. We want to go spend some time with each other upstairs." Gabby smiled, agreeing with Matt as that most definitely was the truth.

She then proceeded to go ahead with taking a bite of her food, which was definitely delicious; and she was so glad that they have this life with each other. "I am so glad that we're alone right now." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case. "Just like we should be on our anniversary and will always be on our anniversary. Sure, we love the kids; but we also love each other, and that's really what I want to always make sure that we remember. We need to put our marriage first, because it's the foundation of our family; without our marriage, then our family could crumble." Taking a breath, Gabby just looked at Matt. "Is that why you don't like to work too much baby? Because you're so worried that something is going to happen again?" Matt sighed as he looked at Gabby as she asked him that, as he hadn't expected her to ask him that question. "I think it's more related to the fact that we were first responders, and those shifts were horrible for a marriage; I mean, we worked it for a while but…" Gabby just understood.

Going to grab his hand, Gabby stroked his hand. "And it didn't help that you had PTSD, because I know you've been dealing with it much longer than we've known baby; to tell you the truth, I've known all along for a while. I've been thinking back, and I could see the signs from right after you almost died right before I went to the academy. I remember how you woke up scared, and all groggy. We just put it to a problem with your head, but it wasn't just a problem with your health; it was mental health issues, and I'm sorry that I failed you back then." Matt was shocked as he heard Gabby mention that she failed him, because that most definitely wasn't how he saw it. "Hey, do you really feel that way? Like you failed me?" Gabby took a breath as Matt asked her whether she really thinks that she failed him, because she does. "Matt, what if…" Just putting his hand up, Matt shook his head. "Not right now. Right now, let's concentrate on eating. We can talk about that when we're alone, upstairs and in bed with each other. We can hold each other as we talk about it."

Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "So, what does this mean for a bath tonight?" Matt smiled as Gabby asked him what it meant for a bath tonight, as it didn't mean anything; if she wants to take a bath, then they'll take a bath. If she doesn't want to take a bath, then they can get in bed and relax with each other. "It doesn't mean anything. If you want to take a bath, we can talk there. If you want to talk in bed, then we can talk there. At the end of the day, I want to fall asleep with you in my arms; just like I do every single day, because I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, before going to grab his hand. "I love you too Matt, and I am so glad that this is what we're going to do with each other….because I really feel like it's what we need to do." Matt agreed with Gabby as she told him that, smiling due to the fact that he could tell that she was really quite relaxed right now; and that's exactly what he wants her to be. He wants her to relax, and just take it easy as she breathes. And not just for the sake of their daughters.

Yes, Matt is always worried when it comes to their (future) daughters; but he's also worried for Gabby, because he knows that she always worries, and he also knows that she really needs to take it easy at times. So, he can only hope that's exactly what she's going to do tonight. "All that matters tonight, is that you relax and take it easy. I think that's what you really need to do Gabby, because you are pregnant." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, just smiling at the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. "I swear, I am not worthy of you." Matt snickered as he heard Gabby say that, as he didn't want her to ever think that way. "I never want you to think that way ever again, because that most certainly is not the truth." Gabby smiled, agreeing with the love of her life as he told her that; after which, she went ahead and took another bite. A bite of the delicious food that their chef made for the, but that she knows her husband bought for them. And that's all that matters, that Matt provides for them; and he does it so well, and he's just amazing.

And that's what makes Gabby really love her husband, just how amazing he is; and how loving and caring he is. And not just to her, but to their sons too; and soon, their beautiful daughters.
