Chapter Two Hundred and Seventeen
Halstead New Year's Eve Plans 2019-2020

If there was ever a topic that Jay and Alex had to talk about, then it most certainly was this topic. And that was due to the fact that they need to figure out just what they're going to be doing on New Year's Eve, and whether they need to talk to some of their family; more specifically, either her father, or Will and Natalie. Preferably, it would be all three of them (based on the current status of their relationship with her father); but they can't depend on Will and Natalie to just cancel their plans, just because they want to be together (as they celebrate the new year, as well as their first wedding anniversary). God, Alex still can't believe that this is what they are getting ready to talk about; what they're going to do, on their first wedding anniversary. She always thought that was going to be years away, but now it just feels perfect; like everything fell into place, including when they had the kids. Sure, that part was quite dramatic; the entire situation that surrounded her giving birth was full of drama, but things are okay now. The kids are okay, and things are getting better; especially as she gets to spend the weekend alone with her loving husband, whom she adores more than anything.

There's just something about getting to spend time alone with your significant other that just makes a woman really happy, and that's exactly how Alex is feeling right now, happy. Happy that she and Jay are alone, and (finally) getting to spend some quality alone time together; and not just time alone where they're shutting out the world, while they also raise their beautiful children. But she truly means alone, as they are not in charge of taking care of their beautiful children right now, but they are instead being taken care of by their family, which is something that she really appreciates, as she wants this time with Jay more than anything. She just wants to be alone with her husband, as they cuddle up to each other in bed; plus, it doesn't hurt that her husband is a real hunk. Especially when he's walking around like he is right now, wearing nothing but those nice boxers of his; that really show him off, and make her want to take them off right now and have him give her more pleasure. But that's not what she's going to do, as it's not the time for that; if she wants that, then she can have that (again) later. Right now, she just needs to take it easy as they get ready to have a nice breakfast.

However, that didn't stop Jay from smirking at her; especially since he already knows what Alex is thinking about, as he's thinking about it too. And that would be how she wants him, how she wants him to touch her; how he wants her to make love to her, and please her in bed right now. But as she said, that's not what they need to go right now; as Jay just finished making breakfast, and that means that it's nice and warm. And he'd much rather eat a warm breakfast, as much as he loves getting all hot and sexy with his wife; because that's always a lot of fun, and it's also due to the fact that he loves his wife more than anything in the entire world. And if there's one thing that they both enjoy doing with each other (whenever they get the chance to), that would be make sweet love to each other; but like they both just said, those are tonight's plans…they are not the plans that they have for today. Today, they are going to relax; they're going to hold each other close, and they're just going to take it easy. And that's something that Jay can most definitely get behind, simply because of what Alex is wearing for him right now; because that's something that Alex forgot to mention, her outfit.

Or more specifically, the sexy lingerie that she just put on for Jay; as she wants to tease her husband more than anything, and she wants to give him a little taste of just what he can get if he wants to get sexy with her (which he does). I mean, they are alone with each other; he'd be crazy if he didn't want to get some intimate time with the woman of his dreams. The woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. And that's something that Alex already knows, even though Jay is about to point that out to her. "It may not happen during the day, as I want to take it easy and just relax with you today; but I can guarantee you this. If you keep that lingerie on all day, then you are guaranteed to have me in bed later." Snickering a bit as she heard Jay say that, Alex just smiled as she decided to get up onto her knees; that way, she could make her way over to Jay's side of the bed. After which, she would get close to him and wrap her arms around his neck; with the hopes of (ultimately) giving the love of her life a kiss, which he most definitely will enjoy and reciprocate the moment she starts to kiss him. So, that's exactly what Alex went ahead and did. She went to kiss her man.

Not that she really had a choice in the matter, as she was now right in front of him; wearing sexy lingerie and giving him a great chance to give her a look over. A look over that was really turning Jay on and making him want to do the same thing as her; and that would be giving her a nice kiss, while wrapping his arms around her body. But first, he had to set their food down on his side table, which he did as soon as he could, along with their drinks so that he could get nice and close to his gorgeous wife. "I swear, you are going to be the death of me woman." Laughing a bit as she heard Jay say that, Alex was well aware of the fact that she was really turning him on right now, which was the entire reason that she was here, in front of him with her arms wrapped around his neck. "Then what are you going to do about it Mr. Halstead?" Smirking as he heard Alex ask him what he's going to do about it, Jay went to show her just want he's going to do about it; and that would be get nice and close to her, tug her body right up against his toned chest, while also kissing her softly. And let's just say that was exactly what Alex wanted this morning, as she moved her hands to his chest.

After which, she smirked as she ran her hands down his chest; until she ultimately put them on his neck and started to take things nice and slow with her loving husband. And let's just say that they both were really enjoying that she just did, especially Jay as it was quite a turn on to have to guess just what his beautiful wife as doing; after all, he didn't know where her hands were going to end up after she started to move them around his chest. But now that they were on top of his chest, he was happy due to the fact that he had the most beautiful woman in the entire world right against his chest; kissing him, as they both held each other close. Wrapping his arms around Alex's back, Jay smirked as he leaned in and kissed her once more; just giving her exactly what she wants, as long as she wants it. Heck, as long as he wants it; because you can't forget that Jay is quite turned on right now, rightfully so. I mean, his wife is gorgeous; and she's also the love of his wife, which is all Jay needs to be turned on. The love of his life in his arms, and her giving him sweet kisses (which he most certainly is in the midst of enjoying at the moment); because god, they are so damn hot right now.

Pulling away from the kiss, Jay smiled as he went ahead and looked at the woman he loves; shaking his head, Jay just smiled as he looked into Alex's gorgeous eyes. After which, he leaned his forehead against hers and smiled as she moved her hand to his neck. "Well, I think that is officially one of our hottest kisses yet." Smiling, Alex agreed with Jay as he said that; after all, they have been a part of a lot of sexy kisses. And that kiss, well it had to be part of the collection; but it was not the sexiest kiss of them all, because she after knows which one that was. "But it will never be our sexiest kiss." Jay smirked as he heard Alex say that, well aware of what kiss she was talking about; because that sure was a sexy kiss, because of what it led to them having. If you aren't aware of just what Jay is talking about, he's talking about the kiss that led to them making love to each other; and having them being intimate with each other and having incredible sex….sex that led to her getting pregnant with their twins Michael, and Olivia. "You're thinking about that, aren't you?" Jay smirked as Alex asked him whether he was thinking about it, because of course he was. How could he not think about it?

"How can I not think about it babe? I mean, that was an amazing night; and I am so glad that it led to this life that we have, and now just with each other. Rather, that we have with our children." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before moving her hand to the back of his head; after which, she leaned in and proceeded to take things nice and slow with the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. And just then, Jay got close to his beautiful wife and just wrapped his arms around her; at the same time, Alex wrapped her arms around his back and smiled as she looked into Jay's eyes. After which, Jay leaned in and kissed her softly. Just taking things nice and slow with his gorgeous wife, Jay smirked as he is very happy right now. "God, I love you so much; and I am so glad that this is what we're doing right now, just getting some quality alone time with each other." Alex took a breath as she heard Jay say that, before looking at her husband. "Yeah, that's something that we need to talk about." Jay was confused as he heard Alex say that.

"Hey, what are you talking about?" Alex sighed as she looked at her husband, before thinking about whether she wants to lay down in bed with him as they talk about this; and she realized that she did, which is something that she went ahead and told her husband. "Can we lay down as we talk about this?" Jay agreed with Alex as she asked him whether they can talk, while they also lay down in bed with each other, which was something that he was more than okay with doing, because that's exactly what he wants to do. He wants to lay down in bed with the woman he loves, as they enjoy breakfast and talk to each other about what they're going to do on New Year's Eve; and that's going to be a real debate, especially since they need to figure out whether they want to do it with or without their kids. But hey, they have all day to talk about it; so that's exactly what they're going to do, spend the day talking about whatever they need to talk to each other. "Listen, how about this? Let's have breakfast, take a breather, and wake up; then we can talk?" Thinking about Jay's proposal, Alex agreed with him as she liked that idea. "I like that idea." Jay smiled as he heard that.

After which, he got nice and close to the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world; moving his hand to her hip shortly afterwards, Jay smirked as he leaned in and kissed the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you Alex, and I promise that we're going to figure out our plans." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I know we will Jay." Jay smirked as he heard Alex say that, before leaning in and kissing her once more. "Let's eat before it get's cold, then we can talk." Alex agreed with the man she loves as he said that, before smirking as she watched as Jay went to grab their plate of bagels. After which, Alex moved one of the pillows that they had on their bed; after which, she moved in in between the both of them. That way, they can use it as a table. "God, I have a smart wife." Alex laughed as she heard Jay say that, before smiling at him; after which, she reached out and went to grab his hand. "God, I love you so much." Jay agreed with Alex as she told him that. "I love you too."

Smiling at Jay, Alex leaned over the pillow and proceeded to kiss him softly; taking things nice and slow with the man she loves, Alex smirked as Jay is really turning her on. "Okay, let's eat before we make a mess in our bed. We can hold each other close, and just take it easy with each other. Do you like that idea?" Alex agreed with Jay as he asked her whether she likes that idea, as she most definitely does. "Listen, I am going to finish eating; that way we can do that some more, but without having to worry about making a mess." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, well aware that was the case; after which, Jay proceeded to grab his bagel so that he can eat it. At the same time, Alex went ahead and did the same as she wanted to eat her food before it gets cold. "God, now this is nice. Just the two of us enjoying a nice breakfast with each other." Jay smirked as he heard Alex say that, as that most definitely was something that they loved doing. "You know, we should try and do this. Maybe after we feed the twins in the morning, we put them to sleep again."

Alex smiled as she heard Jay say that, as she really does like that idea. "Especially when you go back to work." Taking a breath, Jay looked at the woman he loves as she said that. "Is that something that's bothering you? The idea of me being away?" Alex bit her lip as Jay asked her that. "Can we talk about it after breakfast? Along with what we want to do to ring in the New Year?" Jay agreed with Alex as she asked him whether they can talk about it. "Hey, of course we can Alex; we can talk about whatever you think we need to talk about." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before smiling as she went ahead and grabbed his hand; after which, she intertwined their fingers as they both held each other close. "I swear, I am such a lucky woman to have you as my husband." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that. "And I'm a lucky man to have you as my wife." Leaning in, Jay smiled as he kissed her softly. "I love you." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that. "I love you too, now let's finish breakfast." Jay snickered as he heard that, before agreeing with his wife.

Coming back into their room shortly after washing the dishes in the kitchen, Jay smiled as he looked at the woman he loves; the woman who was currently sitting in bed, in a very provocative manner. And god, now if this isn't a nice sight; and Jay is just so glad that this is exactly what he wants. And he's just so lucky to have this gorgeous woman as his wife, and he loves her more than anything in the entire with; and that started with Jay making his way over to Alex, so that he can get back in bed with the woman he loves. And that started with him leaning over her so that he can kiss her softly. Just getting close to her, Jay smiled as he went ahead and leaned over her; moving his hand to her neck, Jay smirked as he proceeded to kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Jay smirked as he felt Alex put her hands on his chest; something that she always does when she gets a chance to do, because she loves touching his muscular chest. "God, you love doing that." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, as she most definitely does. "But not as much as I love cuddling up to my dreamy husband, if only he was in bed with me. Have you seen him by chance?"

Jay laughed as he heard Alex say that. "I don't know, he might be busy with his sexy wife as she wears some very sexy lingerie for him." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before moving over in bed; that way, he can join her (and so that she can cuddle up to him). After all, that's what they both want her to do right now. They both want her to lay down on his chest and cuddle up to him. And if Jay just gets in bed, then she'll do exactly what he wants her to do; she'll lay down in his arms and cuddle up to him. So, that's exactly what Jay did. He climbed into bed and then went ahead to lean back against his pillow, before going ahead with closing the covers; but first, Alex wanted to do something. "Ah, don't close to covers yet." Confused, Jay turned his head to look at Alex. After all, he isn't sure why she wouldn't want him to close the covers. But he soon learned why when Alex pushed him back against his pillow. "Get comfortable against your pillow." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, before smiling as she proceeded to lean back against his pillow; after which, he turned his head and looked at the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world…the woman he wants to cuddle up to.

Moving to lay down on Jay's chest, Alex smiled as she felt him lean back against his chest; after which, Jay slipped down in bed and went ahead to grab the covers. Tugging them up on top of the both of them, Jay smirked because this was very comfortable; he's always very comfortable when he has the woman he loves in his arms. Turning his head after wrapping his arm around Alex, Jay smirked as he put his hand on her back and stroked it with his thumb. He then kissed her forehead and smiled. "I love you." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before feeling Max jump onto the bed with them, which is something that he always does, whenever she moves into Jay's arm (and therefore vacates the spot that was located right next to him in bed). But that's okay, because she has the best spot at the end of the day; and that would be the spot where she can cuddle up to the man of her dreams, and just hold him close. And that was exactly what Alex was doing right now, as she cuddled up to him in bed; meanwhile, Jay ran his hand up and down her back (which is something that Alex absolutely loves the feeling of). It's so comfortable, and just exactly what she wants.

Turning his head, Jay smirked as he kissed her forehead softly while they both held each other close. "I can only imagine that we aren't really going to be talking much." Alex laughed. "Oh, no. We're going to talk. We need to figure out our plans for New Year's Eve." Jay agreed with Alex as he said that, before turning his head and kissing her forehead softly. And let's just say that was exactly what Alex wanted, because it was very comfortable; but right now, they are both going to just take it easy with each other. After which, she ran her finger down his chest and smirked as she started to trace his abs; turning her head, Alex smirked as she bent down and kissed his chest. "What do you want to do on New Year's Eve?" Alex smiled as Jay asked her what she wants to do on New Year's Eve, because she most definitely wants to spend some time with him. "I want to spend some time with you like this, as we hold each other close on New Year's Eve." Jay smirked as he heard Alex say that, before turning his head and kissing her forehead softly; after which, he stroked her back as they both held each other close. Stroking his chest at the same time, Alex smirked as this is very comfortable.

I mean, what's better than the feeling of the two of them holding each other close in bed? It's exactly what they both want to do right now. They just want to hold each other close, and they want to have this nice time together; and if that means that they need to spend some time without the twins, then she's more than okay with that. And Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, before kissing her forehead softly. "So, what are we doing right now? We going to do anything right now?" Jay smirked. "We're going to keep talking and just thinking about New Year's Eve. So, if we stay home; are we going to have the kids? Or are we going to be without the kids, so that we can have some fun with each other." Alex smirked as she heard Jay say that, as she really likes that idea. "Oh, now I absolutely love that idea. The two of us making love to each other, as we hold each other close and just relax." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, before smiling as he turned his head and kissed her forehead softly. "I want to just do this, and I am so glad that this is what we're going to do right now; I want to be with you, and I want to just cuddle up to you like this as you wear some lingerie for me."

Jay then proceeded to run his hand down her back, before going to play with her bra with a bit; after all, he does want to tease the woman he loves. And that most certainly was something that teased her. The feeling of him playing with her bra, as he also turned his head and kissed her forehead softly. "You like the feeling of me playing with your bra, don't you Alex?" Alex agreed with Jay as he asked her whether she likes the feeling of him playing with her bra, as she most definitely does love the feeling of him playing with her bra. What wife wouldn't like the feeling of her loving husband playing with her bra? It's really sexy, and she's just happy that this is what she and Jay are in the midst of doing with each other. Holding each other close, as they cuddle up to each other. At the same time, Jay played with her bra once again; after which, he smiled due to the fact that this is exactly what they both want to do. After which, Alex turned her head and kissed his muscular chest once again. And god, now that was a nice feeling.

Which is something that Jay showed her, by moving his hand to the back of her head; turning her head, Jay smiled as he proceeded to kiss her forehead softly. After which, he looked down and smiled as he kissed her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world, which is exactly what Alex wanted to do right now. "God, I am so glad that this is exactly what I want to do right now." Slipping down in bed some more, Jay smirked due to the fact that she was currently laying down on his chest; after which, he moved his hand to her back (while also grabbing the back of her head). Just taking things nice and slow with his beautiful wife, Jay smirked due to the fact that he really loves this gorgeous woman he's especially proud to call the woman he loves. And that's something that he's always going to love. He loves the fact that they're holding each other close, and they're going to have fun together all day; simply because they have the day alone with each other, which is something that they need.

"God, I've missed you." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, well aware of what he means by that; he doesn't mean it literally, he just means it in the way that they haven't been alone in a long time. "I know, I feel the same way. We really need to do this more often, and we need to make sure that we both take it easy together." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before cuddling up to him; after with, Alex put her hand on his chest and just stroked it with her thumb. At the same time, Jay proceeded to grab the covers and tugged them up on top of the both of them; he then put his hand on her back and stroked it with his thumb, which is something that he's more than happy to do. He wants to hold the woman he loves close to him, as they both just took it easy with each other. Wrapping his arm around her back, Jay smirked as he then moved his hand to her neck as they started to take things nice and slow with each other. And not just once, but multiple times; because this is exactly what Jay wants to do, take things slow with his wife.

After all, he loves her more than anything in the entire world; and he is just so glad that they are happy with each other, that they're alone with each other…and that they're together right now. Alone, without the kids.
