Hi Readers: Sorry for the delay in another chapter, but I had some things to do today before I could get a chance to write. So, I am not sure whether I am going to be able to get as many chapters out as I would like to. But I do hope to get some out to you. Let's start.

Chapter Two Hundred and Thirty-Seven
Halstead

He was now back in bed, with the woman he loves as they now had some breakfast to share with each other; and Alex had to say, she was really comfortable and enjoying the nice breakfast that he made. And not just because of how delicious it was, but because the man she loves was actually in the midst of feeding her said breakfast with a fork that he made sure to bring up with him. After all, Jay could just tell that this is what he was going to be doing today; he was going to be holding Alex in bed, as she wore some sexy lingerie and feeding her the (nutritious) breakfast that he made for her downstairs. And just what might he have made for breakfast? Well, it's a little recipe that he's recently found online; and he truly believes that it's something that he can see himself making more often, simply because of how healthy and delicious it is. And that would be some Banana Egg Pancakes. Yes, you heart that right. Banana Egg Pancakes. It's extremely healthy, as there actually is no pancake mix; it's made of eggs and bananas, with a bit of sugar just to give it flavor. But it's not the type of normal sugar that you see, it's Keto Sugar to make sure that things are as healthy as possible.

And the truth was, that was something that Alex loved about the pancakes: the fact that they are both healthy, and quite delicious at the same time. In fact, when she first tried the pancakes; she honestly thought that they were going to be disgusting, and that she was going to have to send Jay back downstairs so that he could make her something else. But even while she was pregnant, she actually really enjoyed it; and she was quite happy over the fact that she liked the pancakes, because it meant that they were both going to be able to enjoy it for the rest of their lives. But first, Alex just had to tell Jay that she actually likes the pancakes. Turning her head, Alex smirked as she looked up at the same of her dreams. "Did I ever tell you just how much I like the pancakes?" Jay snickered as he heard Alex say that, well aware of the fact that she likes the pancakes that he made for her. "Oh, I am well aware of the fact that you like these pancakes; and that's due to the fact that you always eat them up quite fast whenever I make them, because you really like them." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, just smiling as she put her hand on his arm and cuddled up to the man of her dreams.

After which, she felt Jay move his hand into her lap and just went ahead and grabbed it; meanwhile, Alex also turned her head and looked up into Jay's eyes. Seeing her do just that, Jay smiled as he set the fork that he was using to feed both himself and Alex breakfast; after which, he wrapped his arm around her waist some more and put his hand on her neck. After which, he bent down and smirked so that he could kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with his extremely beautiful wife as he kissed her, Jay could just tell that she was enjoying this with him right now. The kiss that they were sharing with each other was both tender, and extremely sexy; just like every other kiss that they've ever shared with each other, simply because they love each other more than anything in the entire world. But now, it was not time for Jay and Alex to really be doing this; especially not when they have company in their room, company that would love to jump on their bed and come steal some of the pancakes that Jay made for both himself and Alex. But that wasn't going to happen, as Jay was being quite stern with his furry friend. Turning his head, Jay looked at Max.

After all, he could see him eyeing the food; the food that he most certainly was not going to be stealing from him, as this is food that he made for him and Alex. And now, it was time for him to say that to Max. Turning his head, Jay looked at his service dog and just glared at him. "If you dare think that you're going to jump up here and get some food, then you're mistaken mister. You are not getting any of the food that I made for us, because it's human food; not dog food." Barking, Max agreed with Jay as he said that before getting down. After which, he proceeded to walk away so that he could sit down on his dog bed. At the same time, Alex decided to roll over a bit and lean her side against Jay's toned chest. After all, that was how she was really comfortable; when she was laying down on her side, and just being all comfortable with her dreamy husband. And that was something that Jay most certainly knew, which was the entire reason why he always held Alex close to him in bed. Because he wants to make sure that she's nice and comfortable in his arms, as they cuddle up to each other in bed. Plus, she's not the only one that's comfortable when they're in bed like this.

Just like Jay, Alex loves being close to him in bed (like this); and she also likes to wrap her arms around him, and just hold him close. So, that's exactly what Alex is in the midst of doing as they enjoy this nice breakfast with each other. She's laying down in his arms, and just cuddling up to him while they feed each other; well, while Jay feeds her. Alex would much rather have her arms wrapped around his chest, rather than grab the fork so that she could feed her husband. So, she just let him do that for her; not that Jay is complaining, as it's exactly what Jay wants to do. He wants to feed the woman he loves, and just give her exactly what they both want right now. So, he's going to keep doing it; just as long as Alex wants him to do it, starting right now. Turning his head, Jay smirked as he proceeded to hold some food out for the woman he loves. He then went ahead and proceeded to give her some of the food. And let's just say that really made Alex laugh due to the fact that it was really sexy, and quite sweet if they're being honest with each other; it's exactly what they both want to do, they want to feed each other as they relax in bed. So, she went to take the bite that Jay was feeding her.

"God, I love it when you feed me like this." Jay agreed with his beautiful wife as she said that, well aware that was the case; after which, he bent down and went ahead to kiss the top of her head. And that was something that Alex wanted too, because it was another one of Jay's ways to show her simple signs of affection. Affection that she wants more than anything from the man she loves more than anything in the entire world, whenever they're alone with each other; like they are right now. "Can I ask you a question?" Jay agreed with Alex as she asked him whether she can ask him a question, before going to make a classic "dad joke". ""You just did." Alex laughed as she heard Jay say that, well aware that she basically laid the ground for that one; so, she just ended up sitting up and leaning in so that she could kiss the man she loves softly. "I love you." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, smiling as he took things nice and slow with the most beautiful woman in the entire world. "I love you too Alex, and I will always love you forever."

Alex smiled as she heard Jay say that, before going back to eating. "So, what do you think the kids are doing right now?" Jay laughed as Alex asked him what he thought the kids where doing right now. "In fact, I already know what the kids are in the midst of doing right now." Turning her head, Alex looked up at the man she loves; after all, she didn't know that he knew what the kids are doing. "How do you know what they're doing?" Jay smiled as he stared down into Alex's eyes. "I texted my brother to check on them while I was making breakfast, and he said that they are just out for a walk at the park down the street from the office." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, smiling as that was something that she liked the sound of. "They're actually meeting up with some friends there apparently, because Ethan Choi and April Sexton are in town to get a job." Alex was shocked. "Ethan Choi?" Jay nodded. "Apparently, he's taking over as President and Deputy CEO of Casey Health." Alex bit her lip as she heard her husband say that, getting a bit worried.

"How's your brother feel about it?"

They agreed to go outside prior to it getting to warm, so that they could take the twins out for a bit of fresh air; the aunt and uncle wanting to do the responsible thing in getting some fresh air with the twins, while also making sure that they did it properly. But little did the doctors know that they were also going to be running into some other people while they were at the park with each other, which also led to them extending their stay; and there was a reason for that. The people that they ended up running into were some friends of theirs: Doctors Jeffrey Clarke, Ethan Choi, and Nurse April Sexton. And the truth was, they all knew that it couldn't have just been coincidence that they all went to the same park, at the same time. So, they decided that they were going to sit down together for a bit; and just enjoy some time to catch up, and just get some conversations out of the way as friends. "I have to say Will, I need to apologize to you." Will was confused as he heard Ethan say that, not exactly understanding what he meant.

But at the same time, he was also trying to make sure that he held Olivia in his lap properly as he sat in the shade. "What are you talking about Ethan?" Ethan sighed. "Originally, when you left to come here and help out Casey in starting a company; I thought that you were doing a really stupid thing, considering there was no company really built yet." Will agreed with Ethan as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Yet, you ended up ding the same exact thing." Ethan laughed, agreeing with Will as he said that. "And that's due to the fact that I believe in the mission of what Matt is trying to do. The truth is, when he reached out to me to get advice; and just some resources, I asked him why he wanted mine specifically when he already had you guys…" Will agreed with Ethan as he said that, already well aware of that he was talking about; that being due to the fact that Matt asked him whether he'd be offended if (a) he spoke to Ethan about it behind his back, and then (b) whether he'd mind if he brought him on so that he can help him out.

And the truth was, Will wasn't opposed at all; because the more doctors to help the mission of the clinic, the better. Plus, he knows that Ethan has PTSD; and that means that he can really be a true benefit to the clinic, as can Jeff. "…and I thought that you guys would be mad or something." Will shook his head as he heard Ethan say that because that was not the case. "No, not at all. In fact, Matt came to me first; and he asked me whether he'd be okay with it, because he thought that he wanted doctors that would know what they're doing. And if he wanted you, then I knew that'd be a good thing; because he knows you." Ethan agreed with Will as he said that, before looking at the little girl that was currently in her uncle's lap. "Olivia looks quite adorable there with you." Will smiled, agreeing with him as he said that. "This you practicing for when you guys have kids?" Will laughed as Ethan asked him that. "Yeah, but we aren't having twins." Ethan smiled as he heard Will say that. "To tell you the truth, I am still shocked about that."

Will was a bit confused as he heard Ethan say that. "What exactly are you talking about?" Ethan just looked at Will. "Oh c'mon, you don't think Chicago knows? Everybody knows that Casey and Dawson, Severide and Stella, and Jay and Alex had twins." Will agreed with Ethan as he said that. "And crazier, you're all having boys; well, except for Jay and Alex who had both." Will shook his head. "Michael was a surprise, they thought they were having two daughters." Ethan was surprised as he heard Will say that. "Really?" Will nodded, before hearing a new voice make his way over to her. "God, I hope you guys don't mind if I join you guys? Natalie and April turned our friend chat to girl talk." Will laughed as he heard Jeff say that, well aware that was the case. "Honestly, I was waiting for how long you'd last before you came to join us." Jeff agreed with Will as he said that, before sitting down on the ground with the guys. "Anyways, gives me and you a chance to talk anyways." Will was confused as he heard Jeff say that. "What are you talking about?"

Jeff sighed as he looked at Will. "Will, we both know that I used to date Natalie; and I just wanted to make sure you know that…" Will laughed. "Jeff, you're dating Lisa again. I think we can both agree that we're all good." Jeff laughed as he heard Will say that. "Yeah, about the whole dating thing." Ethan just looked at Jeff as he said that. "What…" Jeff laughed. "We stopped in Vegas on the way. We agreed that, if we were going to be in Hawaii…that we might as well be married, and have it be a fresh start. So, Lisa isn't my girlfriend. She's my wife…again." Will and Ethan were shocked as they heard that. "And this is what? Just two years after you tried to date Natalie?" Jeff snickered. "Three years, and we reconnected at her dad's funeral." Will just looked at his friend as he said that. "Seriously? Her dad's funeral?" Going to show his wedding band to Will, Jeff agreed. "Same one as before." Ethan snickered as he heard Jeff say that. "Well, I hope that you guys make it this time." Jeff agreed with Ethan as he said that.

"Me too, because she's my PA." Ethan just looked at Jeff as he said that. "You mean…your wife, is your personal assistant? Wait, what's your title anyways. We haven't had a meeting." Jeff agreed with Ethan as he said that. "President and Deputy CEO of Casey Health." Turning his head, Will agreed. "Wait, so your boss Will is…your wife's ex?" Will laughed. "Yeah, don't bring that up; because Natalie is not happy, because she wanted to be Deputy CEO." Jeff groaned. "Trust me, I already heard that from Matt." That's when Natalie made her way over to Will and Jeff, coming to get some water for both her and Michael. "Yeah, how did you get that job anyways?" Turning his head, Jeff sighed as he looked up at Natalie, who was currently opening the cooler and going to grab some water. "Grab some for yourself too please Natalie." Natalie agreed with Will as he said that, before going to grab some water for her and Michael. After which, she grabbed Olivia's drink too. "Will, catch." Looking up, Will saw Natalie holding Olivia's cup; after which, she threw it.

Catching it with one hand, Will smiled as he brought it nice and close to Olivia. "Here Olivia, you want to take a sip of water?" Olivia then went to grab it and just went to take a sip of her drink, while Will went to do the same thing. "So, you think that you and Lisa are going to try and have kids this time Jeff?" Turning to look up at Natalie, Jeff laughed. "I told her that I want to be married for a year before we talk about that. Just curious, did she ask you to talk to me about that?" Natalie sighed. "You know me too well." Jeff laughed. "Natalie, I've known you longer than your husband has known you!" Natalie thought about it, and agreed with Jeff. "Heck, you've known me since I was married to Jeff, the other Jef…" Clarke understood. "You mean Manning. That's how we can differentiate ourselves." Natalie agreed with Jeff as he said that, before smiling as she went to walk away with Olivia; meanwhile, Jeff turned his head to look at both of his co-workers. "Oh, Natalie…" Natalie then turned to look at Jeff. "Yeah Jeff?"

Jeff sighed. "Do you mind if me and you talk for a minute?" Natalie was a bit confused, but just agreed. "Okay." Getting up, Jeff took a breath and looked at Will. "C'mon, let's go over to Lisa so that she doesn't get jealous." Natalie agreed with Jeff as he said that, following him over to Lisa and April so that they can talk; meanwhile, Ethan turned to look at Will. "What's that about?" Will laughed. "I have a feeling I know what it's about." Ethan was confused. "And what would that be?" Will sighed.

"The fact that he got the job instead of her."

Walking up to his wife with Natalie, Jeff Clarke took a breath as he watched Lisa standing there as she spoke to April; that was, until she saw Jeff make his way over to them. "Hey, what are you doing over here Jeff?" Jeff smiled as he walked up to his beautiful wife, wrapping his arm around her before bending down to kiss her softly. "Just want to clear the air with Natalie but do it here with you." Looking at Jeff as he said that, April could tell that this might be something that she may not want to be here for. "Do you guys want your time with her? I can go if you want to talk to Natalie alone." Jeff shook his head as he heard April say that. "Of course not, you can stay. It should just take two minutes. By the way, come here April. I think this is the first time that I've seen you since we moved here." April smiled as she walked up to Jeff, going ahead with hugging him. "I think so too, and I think that's a shame." Jeff agreed with his friend as she said that, before watching as Lisa turned to look at him. "So, thinks okay between you and Natalie?"

Jeff agreed with his wife as she said that. "Yeah, just wanted to make sure that she knows that I didn't expect to get this job rather than her." Lisa was confused. "Remind me of the job that you have again?" Jeff smiled. "President and Deputy CEO of Casey Health." April agreed with Jeff as he said that. "I think we all know why you got that though Jeff, and it's because you know all of the parts of the division. You're good with PTSD and the Clinic." Jeff agreed with April as she said that, before turning to look at Natalie. "I just hope that Natalie and Will are okay with that." Natalie laughed. "Honestly, it helps us out; because it means that I get more time with patients, and at home when we have this little guy…" Natalie said, as she put her hands on her stomach and rubbed it. "How far along are you again Natalie?" Natalie smiled. "I'm sixteen-weeks along. And we get to know the gender soon. By the way, I've been meaning to tell you…you need to hang out with us over Christmas." April agreed with Natalie. "Of course." Natalie then smirked.

"Maggie's coming down with Ben for Christmas." April was really happy as she heard Natalie say that. "Oh, now I am definitely going to be spending some time with you guys; I want to spend time with Maggie too." Natalie agreed with April as she said that, well aware that was the case. "I had a feeling that was going to be the case. But we really need to start working together again. Where are you guys working tomorrow?" April smiled. "I think I have a shift in the ED tomorrow." That's when Will and Ethan made their way over to the ladies. "Yeah, me and Will were actually just talking about that; and we were thinking that we could all carpool with each other, as we all live at the office." Turning to look at Will, Natalie sighed as she took a breath. "Will, we have to stop at Jay and Alex's place." Will agreed. "Right. And we're going to have breakfast with them too." Natalie agreed with her husband as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I know. And that's why we're going to their place, so we can drop off the twins at their place in the morning."

Will smiled as he heard Natalie say that, well aware that was the case. "I know, and we're going to do that. Because we both know that I want to spent time with my brother before work, so we'll have to meet up after work if we want to spend time with each other." Ethan agreed with Will as he said that. "Let me guess, you think it's time to start heading back to your place; that way, you can put the twins down for a nap?" Natalie sighed as she heard Ethan ask them that. "More like Will wants me to take it easy, and just relax. We've been in the sun for a while after all." Natalie then proceeded to grab some of her water, proceeding to take a sip; at the same time, Will wrapped his arm around Natalie and smiled as he turned to look at his beautiful wife. "You know that you need it Natalie." Natalie agreed with Will as he said that, well aware that was the case. "You're right." Walking up to April, Natalie smiled as she proceeded to hug her. "I'm just glad that we got to spend a bit of time together." April agreed with her, and then went to hug her friend.

"Of course, we'll have to do it more often; maybe the guys can get out too, because we all know that they get bored when they're stuck with us all the time." Turning to look at April, Ethan shook his head. "You know that's not the case April, I love spending time with you." April just snickered a bit, while also agreeing with her fiancé. "Okay, well I can't wait to spend time with you guys at a hospital again Natalie." Natalie agreed with April as she said that, before smiling as she looked at Will. "You ready to go?" Will agreed with Natalie as she said that. "Let's pack up the twins in their stroller, and then we can leave." Natalie agreed with Will as he said that, ready to do just that; pack up their niece and nephew, before going home together.

Walking home from the park together, Will took a breath as he rubbed Natalie's back; and that was because he knew the real reason that they were really headed home. And that was the fact that things just felt a bit awkward there, with regards to Jeff. Sure, he's married again; but she still hasn't really gotten past their history, and what he admitted to her years ago. "I know that it's still going to be hard to see him every day." Natalie agreed with Will as he said that, before turning to look at Will. "Yeah, I just hope that I don't keep feeling this way. I want to be friends with him again Will, and I know he's married…and that we're married, and I'm pregnant but…" Stopping in his tracks, Will turned to face his wife and stepped close to her; after which, he moved his hand to her hip and just brought her close to his chest. "Hey, take a breath and look at me Natalie." Natalie agreed with Will as he said that. "Natalie, I know. I already know the past between you both, because you told me about it; and I know it's going to be a bit awkward at first."

Natalie agreed with Will as he said that. "But I know you Natalie, and things are going to turn out okay; because at the end of the day, he's married…and we're married, and having a baby together." Natalie agreed with Will as he said that, because that most certainly is the truth. "And that's something that I most certainly am ready to have with you." Will agreed with Natalie as she wrapped her arms around his waist; after which, he moved his hand to her neck and just smiled as he started to take things nice and slow with his beautiful wife. "I love you Natalie, and I need you to relax for our little one; please, just take a breath and remember that we're okay." Natalie agreed with Will as he said that, well aware that was the truth. "I know, and I'm sorry about feeling this way." Will shook his head as Natalie apologize for how she's feeling. "You can't control it Natalie, and you just need to relax; take a breath and concentrate on our family right now. Us, our niece, and our nephew." Natalie agreed with Will, just smiling as she heard him say that.

After all, that was the truth; that was all she needed to concentrate on right now. Him, her loving husband (and the father of their children); Michael, their nephew and godson; and Olivia, their niece and goddaughter. That's all she needs to concentrate on right now, because they are currently spending time as a family. Time that she's really enjoying, due to the fact that they are together as a family right now; especially since she's getting time to practice being a mom, while also spending quality time with her husband…which is something that another one of her new Hawaii friends is also doing right now…

NOTE TO READERS: I have decided that, before I go back to the Caseys; I want to check in with another one of our employee couples, as I haven't done that In a while. I am always changing my mind when it comes to what I want to do with regards to solely one Chicago, but I also want to do some staff; so, I hope you like the staff part too.
