Gwyn stormed off down the hall, leaving a baffled Dal in her wake.

Dal watched her go for a moment, then ran a hand through his hair and sighed.

After a moment, he shrugged and turned to go the other way.

Later, in his quarters, he thought about Gwyn's actions, and he still couldn't figure out what he'd done wrong. All he knew was that he'd messed up.

He chuckled.

Life on the Protostar was crazy.

Because Rok was the science officer.

But here he was, learning all about the scientific method.

And clearly his last hypothesis was dead wrong.
