I hope that you guys are okay with how I changed this story, and what I have done with regards to the storyline; more specifically, regarding the fact that I already have the girls in the story. Chapter Two Hundred and Forty-Nine
A Picture of Our Girls
"I want to see my girls in a picture, and I want you to climb into bed." -Gabriela Casey
Walking out of the washroom shortly after getting changed into something a bit more comfortable for the woman of his dreams, Matt smiled as he saw her ogling at him as he just wore a t-shirt and his boxers. "Oh, I have to admit; I do like the sight of that." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case. "I had a feeling that was going to be the case, which is the entire reason why I decided to wear it for you in the first place." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, just smiling at the man of her dreams; after all, he truly is the love of her life…and he knows exactly what she wants right now, which is this. She wants this life with Matt, and she wants him to be here; and she also wants a picture of their girls, which she can look at while they hold each other in bed. "And I also had a feeling that I wasn't going to be moving out of bed much." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, before snickering a bit; but unfortunately, that hurt a bit. "Oh, that hurt." Getting a bit worried as he heard Gabby say that, Matt decided to walk over to her first.
After all, his daughters are currently being taken care of by the hospital; meanwhile, he is still entirely responsible (well, as much as he can) for his wife's care. At the same time, nurses will help; and that's due to the fact that Gabby needs to be monitored, as she just had major surgery. So much so, that they might even have to do another one to make sure that she's okay; but he's not going to worry about that right now. Not when he instead needs to take it easy, and just relax with his beautiful wife. The wife he loves more than anything in the entire world and will do anything to protect and make sure that she's okay, which also includes making sure that she stays away from her phone, which is currently on top of her bags by the girls' crib. "By the way, can I ask where the dress I was wearing went?" Sighing as he walked over to his bags with his clothes, Matt proceeded to set his pants down; after which, he noticed that he forgot to give Camila and Antonio one of his bags. So, he decided to grab his phone and sent Antonio a text message regarding it.
'Remind me to ask you to take my suit and our clothes from today home next time you come.'
Hitting send on the message, Matt took a breath as he made sure that it was sent; after which, Matt went ahead and started to fold his clothes. The clothes that he was going to be placing in the bag that he has here, just as soon as he unpacks the clothes that Camila and Antonio brought for him today; and that he was certain was going to be replenished on a regular basis, each and every time that their family visits. Whether that be the Dawson Family, or the Casey Family that visits. Just as long as they do not talk about business, then Matt will be a happy man; as he wants to concentrate on his girls right now, rather than work. He doesn't want to think about it, as that's his last priority for the moment; rather, his main priority is his family. "Baby, did you hear my question?" Turning around when he heard Gabby's voice again, Matt took a breath. "Sorry, just had some other things in my mind." Getting a bit concerned, Gabby proceeded to sit up like she thought she needed to do for Matt; but the truth was, that was the last thing that Matt wanted.
He doesn't want her to sit up, not when she needs to relax; not when she just needs to take it easy, and she needs to make sure that they cuddle in bed. "Hey, hey…stop Gabby." Looking at Matt as he said that, Gabby could see the worry in his eyes right away; the worry that was all about what happened today, all thanks to the stupid fight that she had with Stella. So, she went ahead and laid down. "Sorry." Taking a breath as he heard Gabby apologize, Matt shook his head as that was the last thing that he wanted Gabby to do; he didn't want Gabby to apologize to him, he wanted her to take it easy and just relax (just like the doctors told her to do). "Hey, no. Please don't apologize." Taking a breath, Gabby agreed with Matt; at the same time, she watched him making his way over to her bed. That way, he could sit down next to her and just looked down at the woman he loves. Reaching out, Matt put his hand out so that Gabby could grab his hand, which is exactly what she did, along with intertwining their fingers as she stared up into h er man's eyes.
"You have nothing to apologize for Gabby. Right now, you need to take it easy, and you need to relax. You need to recover, and you need to remember that I am here to help you right now." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before looking into his eyes; at the same time, Matt leaned over Gabby and put his hand on her neck. Meanwhile, Gabby put her hand on top of his and just stared up into her eyes. "I love you." Matt agreed with Gabby as he stroked her cheek, before bending down and proceeding to kiss the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you too Gabby, and I'm here for you; I'll always be here for you. I promise." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I know Matt." Matt agreed with Gabby, just smiling at his beautiful wife. "So listen, let's get back to what we were just talking about." Gabby agreed. "I asked you what happened to the dress that I was wearing today?" Matt sighed as he looked at his beautiful wife, before moving to stroke her stomach with his thumb.
"Unfortunately, we had to rip it so that we could make sure that you were okay." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case; after which, she watched as Matt bent down and proceeded to kiss her softly. Meanwhile, she put her hand on his cheek and just started to take things nice and slow with the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case. "I know you do, because I love you too; and I am so proud of the fact that you are my wife, and that you just did that. Just like last time, you were a rock star." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "I'm just sorry that we didn't get to have that dream birth." Matt just looked at Gabby as she said that, before grabbing her hand and intertwining their fingers. "Hey, there is no such thing as a dream birth…we just had to go with the flow." Gabby agreed with Matt at he said that, well aware that was the case. "I know, thanks for calming me down." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that.
"Hey, it's no problem baby. It's my job to make sure that you stay calm and just take it easy, especially while we're here in the hospital; and while you're recovering from giving birth to the girls, our beautiful daughters. And I truly mean it when I say that they are beautiful baby." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, just smiling at the man of her dreams. "I still want to see a picture of our daughters, and I am waiting for you to do that for me." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case. "Oh, I am well aware of the fact that you are waiting for me to get a picture of the girls…but I also know that you need to breathe. And that's what I'm making sure that you do right now. That you breathe and just take it easy." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I know, and I can also see that you're worried right now." Matt agreed with Gabby as she mentioned that he's worried. "Of course, I'm worried baby, you just gave birth prematurely again." Gabby agreed with her loving husband.
After which, she proceeded to grab his hand and just smiled due to the fact that she was happy to at least have him here right now. To have him holding her in his arms, and just make sure that she was safe. "I hope you know that I am very happy to have you as my husband." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, smiling as he bent down and proceeded to kiss the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you too Gabby, and I will always love you." Moving her hand to Matt's face, Gabby proceeded to take things nice and slow with the man she's crazy for. "God, you are so addicting. But right now, we need to stop because we have something else to do. Well, you do since I can't get up right now." Matt agreed with his wife as she said that, well aware that was the case. "I promise, I'm going right now." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before watching as he got up so that he can make his way over to the cribs. "By the way, the entire world already knows that you gave birth." Gabby looked at Matt as he said that.
"How?" Matt sighed. "Christie sent a message on the Official Casey Twitter Page." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "Okay." Matt nodded. "You're okay with that?" Gabby agreed. "It will let them know that we aren't to be bothered, and that we need some time to relax and just take it easy right now." Matt agreed with his wife as she said that, well aware that was the case. After all, this is exactly what they both want to do right now; they want to take it easy, and they want to relax with each other. They want to make sure that they take it easy, and that they both stay calm for the sake of Gabby's recovery. Because the last thing that Matt wants, is for something to impede her successful recovery after giving birth to the girls today; the girls that he's going to take a picture of right now, so that he can show his beautiful wife what their daughters look like. But first, he went to make sure that Gabby could see their entire faces; the faces that were covered (a bit) by the wires that were all over her body, which is when Matt decided to say something.
"Gabby, you remember how the boys were when you gave birth to them right?" Looking up at her husband, Gabby agreed with Matt; because how could she forgot what the boys looked like after she gave birth to them? So, she could only imagine what her daughters look like; the daughters that she plans on loving more than anything in the entire world, and whom she wants to feed. "I'm going to have to start pumping for the girls soon." Turning his head, Matt sighed as he looked at the woman he loves. "Okay, let's take a breather and just take it one step at a time; okay Gabby?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware of the fact that they need to take it one step at a time. They need to concentrate on her recovery, and she needs to make sure that everything is okay. She needs to recover, and she needs to be ready for when they can take the girls home, because that's going to be one of the best days of her life. But right now, Matt is just going to take a picture of their daughters for his wife; that way, she can see how cute they are.
At least, that was his plan until he saw that he just got another text message from his family. A text message he decided to read from his sister. 'Do you mind if we get pictures of the girls?' Taking a breath as he thought about it, Matt decided that he didn't want to send pictures yet; because it was too soon, and he just wanted to wait. He wanted to wait until they looked better, until they could actually hold them and take a picture as a family; because right now, he can't hold his daughters. And he would actually like to hold his daughter. 'Christie, can we wait a bit? Things are still hectic, and I can barely look at them; it's not a sight I want to memorialized when this is going to be pure hell for me!' Matt then proceeded to make his way over to Gabby, who did notice that he just sent a text. "Okay, what was all that about baby?" Taking a breath, Matt sighed as he looked at his wife. "It was my sister, she asked for a picture." Gabby looked at Matt as he said that, a bit confused as he made his way over to their bed where he could sit down with her.
And he really meant with her, because Gabby was about to sit up again; and that was due to the fact that she was concerned for her husband. "Hey, what's…" Looking at his side as he sat down on the edge of their bed, Matt put his hand out. "Hey, lay back and take it easy. Baby, you aren't cleared to move yet; remember?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. So, she did what her loving husband wanted her to do; she laid back down and just got comfortable, while also moving her hand to the top of Andy's head and rubbing it to stay calm. After which, Matt took a breath. "Listen, I'm going to get in bed; and I want to get comfortable with you. I'll show you the picture…and you'll understand why I don't want people to see that as the first official picture of our girls." Gabby was confused as she heard Matt say that. "Or you can give me your phone, and I can look." Taking a breath, Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before handing his phone over to her. "Here but remember to breathe." Gabby agreed with Matt. After with, she proceeded to go look at the picture that her husband just took of their daughters; and it was just as Matt said, heartbreaking.
So heartbreaking, that Matt knew exactly what he needed to do the moment Gabby looked at the picture. He needed to get in bed with her, so that he could hold her in his arms; so that's exactly what he did, he climbed into bed with the woman he loves so that they can relax with each other…and so that he can make her feel better (because that's his job as her husband). And now, he's going to get in bed with Gabby; that way, he can wrap his arm around Gabby and just hold his beautiful wife close to him as they make each other feel better, because that's what they need to do for each other. They need to hold each other close, as they made them feel better. And if that's what Gabby needs him to do for her, then that's exactly what he's going to do for the woman he loves; he's going to get in bed with Gabby, wrap his arm around her, and he's going to comfort her. He's going to love her, and he's going to make sure that Gabby knows that he's here for her…and that he's always going to be here for her, for the rest of their lives.
Another thing that he's going to do for the rest of his life? Hold his beautiful wife in his arms, as he wrapped his arm around her and just cuddle up to the woman of his dreams. "Here, let me join you in bed. I'll get close to you, and we can just take it easy." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, because that was exactly what Gabby wants right now; she wants Matt to hold her in his arms, and she wants him to make her feel better. And that's something that he can do so easily, simply by having him hold her in his arms. And that's exactly what Matt's going to do starting right now, and for the entire time that they're going to be in the hospital together; they're going to hold each other close, relax, and recover from this repeat of the last time Gabby gave birth to their twins. (Which just so happens to be the last time that they'll ever have to experience this, which is something that Matt is grateful for). He's grateful that this is the last time that they're going to have to deal with his, because he's not sure whether he can do it again.
"Here, let me hold you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, giving his phone back to him; after which, Matt grabbed it and went to set it down on his side table (while Gabby cuddled up to him and went to wrap her arms around his torso). After all, that's exactly what they both want to do right now. They want to hold each other close, as they cuddle up to each other; they want to relax, and they want to hold each other close. And he knows that by doing that, he's going to make her feel better. In fact, he's already making her feel better; and that all started by Gabby crawling into his arms and moving to lay down in his arms (while slipping her legs in between his and wrapping his arms around his muscular torso). "Take it easy and relax, okay baby? Just remember that you need to take it easy." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, while just getting comfortable in her dreamy husband's arms; just like she wants to do right now, she wants to hold him close and take it easy with Matt. And Matt's more than okay with that.
And that's simply due to the fact that he'll always hold her in his arms, if that's what she needs him to do; if she needs him to hold her, then he's going to hold her in his arms for as long as she needs to have him hold her. And now, Gabby was happy to be in his arms; simply because it means that she can get comfort from the man of her dreams, the love of her life, and the father of their children.
After a few moments of silence with his wife in his arms, Matt took a breath as he ran his hand up and down her back; at the same time, he turned his head and kissed her forehead softly. "How are you feeling right now?" Taking a breath, Gabby just thought about what she was going to say right now. After all, she doesn't know what to say; especially after what she just saw, the picture of their daughters that she just saw. And while it did remind her of what the boys looked like when she gave birth to them, it wasn't something that she was ready to see again. "Sorry, I just…I don't think I was ready to look at that again." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before turning his head and proceeding to kiss her forehead softly. "I promise, I'm right here Gabby. And I'm always going to be here, as long as you need me." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before looking up at the love of her life; at the same time, Matt turned his head and looked down into Gabby's eyes. After which, he bent down and kissed the woman he loves softly.
Just taking things nice and slow with his wife, Matt knew that this is what he needs to do for her right now; he knew that he needed to make his way feel better, simply by kissing her the way he's kissing her right now. "How are you feeling?" Gabby took a breath as Matt asked her how she's feeling. "I'll be okay. I just need to get used to that again." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before feeling Andy jump up onto their bed; after which, he smiled as he extended his hand. "Come here buddy. Come here." Crawling over, Andy laid down next to Matt just like he was told; at the same time, Gabby cuddled up to Matt some more while moving her hand to Matt's chest. After which, she laid her head down on his chest and enjoyed this feeling; meanwhile, Matt tugged the covers up and went to rub her back. Running his hand up and down Gabby's back, Matt smiled as he turned his head and kissed her forehead softly. "Comfortable?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he asked her whether she was comfortable, because she was…under the circumstances.
"Under the circumstances, I am comfortable." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before running his hand up and down her back; after which, he turned his head and just smiled due to the fact that they are both really happy right now. "How are you feeling right now though?" Gabby sighed. "I think right now, I just need to take it easy and relax." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before moving to kiss her forehead softly. "We're going to get through this baby, I promise." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, feeling him put his hand on her leg as they both held each other close. "Do you need to talk to me?" Gabby sighed. "Maybe not right now, because I think I just need to relax…maybe even take a nap." Matt agreed with his wife as she said that, liking that idea. "I like that idea. Maybe you can take one while I order us some supper?" Gabby thought about it, and just agreed with him. "I don't know if I'm that hungry." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before turning his head and kissing her forehead softly.
He then wrapped his arm around her back, Matt agreed. "Okay, well let's just relax and take it easy. We can eat another time, and I can always get something from the fridge whenever you want something. Your mom brought us some food, which I can just reheat." Gabby agreed with Matt. "I know that, but I am not ready to eat. I just woke up, and I just need to relax." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case. "Then let's do that. We take it easy, and we relax. We just breathe, relax and concentrate on each other." Smiling as she heard Matt say that, Gabby was glad that they were doing that. "I guess, on the bright side; at least now I'm done being pregnant, forever." Gabby said that, while looking up at her husband; the husband who was well aware that was the case, and just bent down so that he could kiss her softly. "I promise, I already know that baby." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. After which, she leaned up and kissed him softly. Just taking things slow with Matt, Gabby was happy to be holding him close.
After all, that was exactly what she wanted to do right now. She wanted to hold the man of her dreams close to her, as they cuddle up to each other in bed. "At least we have the girls now. Our beautiful daughters Bella Elizabeth, and Sofia Marie." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before looking up at the man she loves; at the same time, Matt moved his hand to her back and bent down to kiss her forehead softly. "Listen, do you mind if I take a nap and just relax for now?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she asked him whether she can take nap for a while, because he's more than okay with that; and that's due to the fact that he wants her to get the rest that she needs. "Baby, I know that you need to rest right now. And if you need to take a nap, then you can take a nap; and I will be here the entire time." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, just cuddling up to the man of her dreams. "Thanks baby." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case. After which, Matt ran his hand down her back and kissed her forehead softly.
"I love you baby." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "I love you too Matt, and I am so glad that this is what we're doing right now. We're holding each other close, and just relaxing right now." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that. "And I think that we can both agree that as long as the girls are okay at the end of the day, we're going to be happy." Smiling, Gabby just cuddled up to each other as they both held each other close; after all, that's exactly what they both want to do right now. They just want to hold each other close, and they want to make sure that they relax with each other. And now, that's exactly what Gabby's going to do. And she's also going to be taking a nap ahead of them having supper, because that's that she needs right now; she needs to take it easy, and she needs to take a nap for her health. And that's something that she already knew she had to do. She had to take a nap for her health. And thanks to Matt, she did it quite easily…and that's because he just ran his hand up and down her back and held her close to him.
And let's just say that this made Gabby really happy, as they are extremely content with each other; they are happy with each other, and they're just taking it easy now. They are going to relax, and just enjoy this new life that they're starting as parents to four kids. "Gosh, four kids." Matt snickered as he heard Gabby say that, well aware that was the case. "I wouldn't have it any other way though." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. As much as they were worried about how many kids they were going to have…they were both okay with what they ended up with: two handsome sons, and two beautiful daughters. Matteo, Noah, Bella, and Sofia Casey. In fact, it was something that one of their friends could actually see themselves having as well.
