Hi Readers: What did you guys think of the first chapter that I wrote for today? Well, I hope that you guys liked it; but I want to let you guys know that I have decided to not just concentrate on the Caseys at the moment, as there's something else I want to cover. After all, there's another man with PTSD in our story…who recently went through a similar situation with his wife and their twins.

Chapter Two Hundred and Fifty
Memories

Primary Suite, Home of Jay & Alex Halstead – It was like a switch flipped the moment all of this happened, after Gabby went into preterm labor at the office; after having a fight with her best friend, whom she sees like a sister. Not that it was exactly similar to the scenario that they suffered with her father (as it was her dad instead of her de factor sister), but it was pretty damn close; because of what events played out, ahead of Gabby having to give birth. Right before Alex gave birth to Michael and Olivia, she had a fight with her father; and right before Gabby gave birth to Bella and Sofia, she had a fight with the woman who is basically her sister. And those fights? They both led to Alex and Gabby going into premature labor, and them having to give birth prematurely; and not just to one child, but to twins. He could just see what this was doing to his wife, and that was why he was glad that Hank was here right now; as it was going to give him a chance to talk to his wife, and just take care of her here in their room. So much so, Hank decided to tell him.

Walking up behind Jay, Hank put his hand on his shoulder, which prompted Jay to turn his head, and look at him. "Hey, is she okay?" Taking a breath as he turned to look at his father-in-law, Jay decided to bring him out to the hallway so that he could explain what happened today. "Hallway, let me explain." Hank agreed with Jay as he said that, before walking out to the hallway; and let's just say that Hank is trying his best to stay calm right now, because he thought that Jay and Alex were fighting right now. But he also knew that he had to be on his best behavior, if he wanted to stay for Christmas. "May I remind you that you need to stay calm, and not make the situation worse if you want to stay." Hank laughed as he heard Jay say that, well aware that was the case. "And that was why I wasn't going to say anything, but that doesn't mean that I'm not thinking about that." Jay agreed with his de factor father-in-law, nodding. "Ok, so I need to say this first. What's going on, is not between me and Alex; me and Alex are fine, and this is independent of us."

Hank was confused as he heard Jay say that, not understanding how that's the case. "Okay, I am already lost. How can that be possible?" Taking a breath, Jay looked at Hank. "You remember what led to us going into labor last time? How we all got into a fight, and that led to…" Hank agreed with Jay as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I know, and I'm really sorry about that Jay; I hope you know that." Jay agreed with Hank as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I know Hank, I know that you're sorry; and I Know that you've changed your ways, because you want to have a relationship with your grandchildren." Hank agreed with Jay as he said that, before looking at his son-in-law. "Well, here's the thing. Today, at the office, Gabby and Stella got into a fight over something, a fight that started with Stella confronting her in the washroom…which led to Gabby needing to go to the hospital and have an emergency C-Section." Hank was shocked as he heard Jay say that, clearly able to understand what was going on right now.

"And she's getting flashbacks?" Jay agreed with Hank as he asked him whether she was getting flashbacks, as he was getting them too. "I'm getting some too." Hank sighed as he heard Jay say that, before looking at his son-in-law; after which, he proceeded to go ahead and hug him. "I'm sorry about this Jay." Jay agreed with Hank as he said that, before taking a breath as he just held him close. "Listen, I know we're home early; and I know that we should help with the kids, but…" Hank shook his head as he heard Jay say that, well aware of what he was trying to tell him; and that would be that he needs to be with Alex right now, and that he needs to be alone with her. "I understand Jay, and I think you're right; you need to be with your wife, and you need to give her comfort." Jay agreed with Hank as he said that, before taking a breath. "And you're okay with that?" Hank agreed. "Hey, I get to spend more time with the kids." Jay laughed as he heard Hank say that, before smiling as he went to grab his hand. "Supper later?" Hank agreed with his son-in-law.

After which, he got close to him and proceeded to hug him. "I hope that you guys feel better, and that you guys can talk about this." Jay agreed with Hank as he said that, feeling the same way. "Me too." Hank agreed with Jay as he said that, before smiling. "I'll text you when you can get food, or when I can bring you food." Jay agreed with Hank as he said that, liking that idea. "I like that idea." Hank agreed with Jay, before walking away so that he can go take care of his grandchildren; meanwhile, Jay turned his head and looked at his wife once more. Taking a breath, he just proceeded to quietly walk into his and Alex's bedroom so that he could do his husbandly duties; and no, not those husbandly duties (sex). Rather, he was talking about giving his wife some love and comfort right now. And he already knows how to do that, starting with how the door needs to be; and that would be closed, but not locked just in case their children need them. But now, Jay is going to do exactly what his wife wants him to do for her right now; and that would be to disrobe.

Well, partially at least. Because if there was one thing that Jay already knew, it was that Alex did not want him to be wearing a shirt when he walked up behind her. Rather, she wants him to walk up behind her shirtless in his jeans. Then, maybe she could help him take them off; and he could hold her in his arms, and just give her exactly what she wants. She wants him to give her comfort, and pepper her with kisses; even though that's something that she's already guaranteed, simply because Jay loves his wife more than anything in the entire world. And he's going to show her that today, as they make sure that they're both okay. But right now, Jay is going to do something else; he's going to just walk up behind his wife and hold her close to him as he stands behind her. Anyways, that's exactly what Alex wants; but more specifically, she wants him to do it with him behind shirtless. So, he made sure to do that first. He went ahead and undid the dress shirt that he was wearing for his beautiful wife, before setting it down on the footboard.

After which, Jay went to take his phone and wallet out of his pockets; that way, he can carry them towards his side table and just set them down. Plus, that's exactly where Alex is going to want them as they cuddle up to each other. Heck, Alex may even want him to be in his boxers; but not yet, as he first needs to just make sure that she's okay…and that she opens up to him as soon as he walks up behind her, shirtless and in his jeans. I mean, what wife doesn't want that when her husband is such a hunk like Jay? And this is not bragging him, this is just him thinking about what Alex said to him in the past, which is what she always wants him shirtless, whenever she can. And Jay can't wait to give his wife exactly what she wants right now, which is him right behind her…shirtless. So, he went to grab his shirt, and started to take it off; while also praying that Alex is happy with the fact that he's shirtless, and not mad that he didn't let her get him undressed. Well, his shirt at least. He was at least going to let her take off his pants, because he loves that.

He loves it when Alex takes off his pants, and when he just wears his boxers while they cuddle up to each other; while they hold each other in bed, and when they both just take it easy. And that's exactly what they're going to do today. They're going to hold each other close, and just make sure that they're both happy. And that all starts with the two of them being close to one another, which is something that Jay desperately wants, which is the entire reason why Jay is currently in the midst of walking out to Alex on the back porch. No, rushing out to his wife so that he can hold her in his arms, which is exactly what she wants him to do; she wants to have Jay hold her in his arms, and she wants him to hug her (whether that be forward facing, or from behind). It doesn't matter how he does it, it just matters that she gets held in Jay's arms; and now, that's exactly what Alex has. She has Jay right behind her, and his arms wrapped tight around her waist. And boy, is that comfortable; it's so damn sexy, and she loves it a lot. "Hey."

Moving his hands to Alex's hips, Jay stood right behind her and then proceeded to whisper in her ear. "Hey." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, just breathing as she looked out at the ocean, which could only mean one thing, she was thinking right now. And Jay can only help but wonder what she's thinking about, and the trauma that she's thinking about; because she's thinking about the same things that are on his mind right now…because you can't ignore those feelings, now when this is so similar to what they experienced when they had Michael and Olivia; when Alex went into premature birth, after a fight with her father. The father who is currently watching their children for her, which Jay decided to tell his beautiful wife. "Your dad is taking care of the kids for us right now, so we have some time to just hold each other and concentrate on each other." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before feeling him grab her dress. "Do you want me to take this off? That way you can relax some more? Maybe breathe and just relax?" Alex agreed with Jay.

"I'd like that." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, before moving to grab the zipper on her dress; that way, he can get it off of her body. But god, she is so sexy; and boy is Jay happy over the fact that he gets to take off her dress, because his wife is the most beautiful woman in the entire life. Alex is so damn sexy, and they are both really happy to be holding each other close. And that starts with the both of them being undressed, and just wearing their undergarments; with Alex just wearing her lingerie, and Jay either wearing some jeans or his boxers. Whether he's in his jeans, or in his boxers; that doesn't matter. All that matters, is that Jay holds his wife in his arms and makes sure that she's okay…because he wants to make sure that his beautiful wife is okay, as that's what matters. That she's okay, and that she's going to be held close to him. And god, let's just say that Jay can't wait to hold Alex close to him; especially when she's wearing this set of lingerie, because she's so damn sexy. And that's why Alex decided to turn around in his arms.

And god, Alex is so damn sexy; and Jay is just so happy that they are together right now. That they are together, and just holding each other close; that way, they can make sure that they are happy and together right now. And not just together but holding each other close. Stepping close to Alex as soon as she turned around, Jay smiled as he moved his hands to her sides; after which, Alex put her hands on Jay's chest and looked up at him. And boy, let's just say that Alex loves his feeling; especially the feeling that comes with Jay starting to kiss her softly, and running his hands up her back. "God, you are so damn sexy." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, smiling at the man she loves. "And you are so damn sexy too, and I just love how muscular you are." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, before deciding to pick his beautiful wife up in his arms. Wrapping her legs around his waist, Jay smirked as he felt Alex wrap her arms around his neck; after which, he put his hands on her back and looked up into those gorgeous eyes that he loves to stare into.

And Alex feels the same way, because she loves to stare into Jay's eyes; especially as it always leads to them kissing each other, starting with Alex wrapping her arms around his neck and bending down to kiss the man of her dreams. And she truly means that, as Jay is the love of her life. And he's the only man that she needs to be with right now, as they hold each other close and just relax, while also trying to push the bad memories away from his mind. "Sorry about thinking about all of this right now." Jay shook his head as he heard Alex say that, as she had no reason to apologize for having those bad memories. "Hey, don't say that. Listen, how about me ad you go cuddle up to each other in bed?" Alex agreed with Jay as he said that. "But first, I think we both know what we want; and that would be you taking off your pants, so that you're just wearing those nice boxers of yours." Jay laughed as he heard Alex say that, well aware that was the case, which is the entire reason why Jay just carried his gorgeous wife to bed, so that they can hold each other close.

Leaning over Alex after laying her down in their bed, Jay smirked as he bent down and moved his hands to her neck; at the same time, Alex put her hand on his neck as they both started to take things nice and slow with each other. And let's just say that Jay was really happy to be with the woman he loves right now, because she loves him more than anything in the entire world. "I love you." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, just smiling at her loving husband. "I love you too, and I am so glad that we were allowed to come home." Jay sighed as he heard Alex say that, as they weren't exactly "allowed" to go home. Rather, he just left without saying anything; he just didn't want to tell Alex that, as he didn't want to worry her. Which is the entire reason why he just walked away so that he could go take off his jeans, which is what Alex wants anyways; but at the same time, Alex sat up a bit and looked at her husband. "Jay…we got permission to go home right?" Turning to look at his wife, Jay sighed and shook his head as he looked into her eyes.

After which, he proceeded to take off his belt and carried it towards his closet. "I might have just decided to do it unilaterally." Alex looked at Jay as he said that, before taking a breath. "Jay…" Jay took a breath as he heard Alex say that, before walking up to the closet. After which, he hung his belt up so that he could go ahead with the next part of getting undressed, which would be to take off his pants, and put them in his closet. Because that's where Alex wants them right now. She wants them in the closet, and she wants him to be wearing nothing but his boxers; then, he could hold her close in bed as they relax and talk about this. Because that's what Alex needs from him right now. She needs him to hold her in his arms, and she needs him to make her feel better, which is something that Jay is more than ready to do, because that's his job as her husband. His main job in life is to love Alex, and to make her feel better; and that starts with him climbing into bed with the woman he loves, especially as she sat there in her sexy lingerie right now.

"I swear, that lingerie of yours is really turning me on." Laughing as she heard Jay say that, Alex knew that Jay was currently stalling. "Ok. I think we both know that you are just trying to stall." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, well aware that was the case. "Alex, I promise that I'm going to explain my decision by saying this; and that's simply by reminding you how I just found you Alex. You were staring outside, and just looked so lost. You were scared, and you were…" Taking a breath, Jay just looked at the woman he loves. "Alex, it looked liked you were thinking back to when you gave birth to the twins; and I think that's the part that scares me, because I'm scared of this happening." Alex was confused as she heard her husband say that, unsure of what he was talking about; and that's why she just sat up and tried to get him to join her in bed. That way, they can talk to each other; and she can give her loving husband the comfort that he seemingly needs from her right now. She needs to give him some comfort, and they need to talk today.

"Baby, how about you come join me in bed? We both know that's what you need to do right now." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, well aware that was the case. "I know, I'm sorry I'm being so quiet." Alex shook her head as she heard Jay say that, before looking at the man she loves; after which, she put her hand out. "Hey, take it easy and just relax baby. Come here and come join me in bed. Come lay down in bed with me, and we can both talk." Jay agreed with his wife as she said that, as he knows that's exactly what they need to do right now; they need to hold each other close, and they just need to relax…especially when they're dealing with some flashbacks right now. And that's why Jay is going to do exactly what he needs to do for his wife right now, which is to join Alex in bed; then, he'll hold her in his arms, and he'll do whatever he can so that he can make her feel better. Plus, he wouldn't mind cuddling up to his beautiful wife as she just wears that sexy lingerie that she's currently wearing for him; because damn baby, she looks sexy!

Standing at his dresser shortly after getting undressed, Jay smiled as he went to put some deodorant on for his wife; after all, that was exactly what he needed to do. He didn't want to smell bad for his wife, he wants to smell good for his wife; the woman he loves, the woman he's crazy for. And now, that's exactly what Jay is prepared to do; he's going to climb into bed with Alex, and he's going to make sure that they just take it easy…which is going to be helped by the cologne that he chose to wear, simply due to the fact that Jay knew that it would make Alex go crazy. Squirting some on him, Jay smirked as he looked at the most beautiful woman in his world; the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world, and the woman he plans on making sure that she feels better. Now, they are going to do that together as he walked over to their bed; the bed where Max just jumped up into his side of the bed, so that HE was laying down next to Alex. "Okay, no. That's not going to happen Max, you are not laying down in my spot when I'm the one that gets to cuddle up to Alex when she's in bed wearing her lingerie." Max then barked as he looked at the veteran, well aware that's the case.

At the same time, Alex looked up at the man she loves. "You know, you are going to need to wear those clothes again when we go out and have supper." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, before waking up to his side of the bed; after which, he proceeded to open the covers and went to get in bed with his gorgeous wife…his soulmate. Yes, that's the new title that Jay has recently given to Alex. He used to just call her the love of his life, but he's soon realized that she's truly his soulmate; and that this is going to be forever. She's his forever, and he's just going to have to be used to having Hank as his father-in-law. But if that means that he gets to have Alex as his wife for the rest of his life, then that's all that matters at the end of the day; because he loves this woman more than anything, and he's so glad that this is what he's going to do. He's going to get in bed with the most beautiful woman in the entire world, and he's going to get nice and close with her; and now, that's exactly what he did. He climbed into bed and get close to his wife.

After which, he closed the sheets on top of the both of them; meanwhile, Alex looked at the man she loves while moving close to the man of her dreams. And boy, did Jay like that she was moving close to him; as he soon put his hand on her hip, and tugged her body against his chest. Now, that was something that Alex most definitely wanted. She wanted Jay to hold her against his chest, and just take it easy with her; especially as they take it easy, and they just relax together. And now, that's exactly what they're in the midst of doing; they're holding each other close, and they're making sure that they're just cuddling up to each other. And now, Alex decided to wrap her arms around his neck and moved so that she was right against his chest; after which, Jay wrapped his arm around Alex's back and looked at the woman he loves. "Hey you." Alex smiled as she heard Jay say that, before moving so close to him that there wasn't any space in between the both of them; after all, that was exactly what they both wanted. They wanted to be right against one another, so that there's no space in between the both of them; because this truly is paradise and will always be paradise.

Running his hand up and down her back just as soon as they were both holding each other close, Jay smirked due to the fact that this truly is exactly what they both wanted right now; they wanted to hold each other close, and they wanted to make sure that they are taking it easy with each other. And that starts with Jay running his hand up her back, while also leaning in so that he can kiss Alex softly; and boy did Alex love that, because she always loves the feeling of Jay's lips on hers…and that's exactly what she has now. She has Jay's lips on hers, and she's just taking things nice and slow with her dreamy husband. "God, you are so damn sexy; and I am so glad that this is what we're in the midst of doing right now. Just holding each other close, as we relax in bed with each other." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, before wrapping his arm around her waist. After which, Alex moved her hands to Jay's face and leaned her forehead against his; because this is really what Alex wants, because she wants to be intimate with her loving husband.

And damn, is Jay happy that this is what they're doing right now; but that doesn't mean that he's not going to talk to his wife right now, because he wants to make sure that they're okay…that she's okay. Because the entire reason for the two of them to get in bed with each other, was so that they could just relax and hold each other while Alex relaxes in his arms. "So, do you just want to lay down here? Or do you want to talk about the memories that you're dealing with right now?" Alex took a breath as Jay asked her whether she wants to talk about the memories that she's dealing with at the moment, as she doesn't know whether she should say yes to them talking about it; or whether she wants to just cuddle up to Jay. Then again, it might help her if she opens up to her husband; and if they talk about it. Because that's exactly what they both need to do with each other. They need to make sure that they talk, and that they just take it easy with each other. "So, do you want to talk about this right now?" Alex agreed with Jay, before sighing.

After with, she proceeded to put her hand on his cheek and stroked it with her thumb; at the same time, Jay put his hand on her side and leaned in to kiss the woman he loves more than anything. And god, Alex just loved that feeling; just like she loved the feeling of Jay running his hand up her back, because that was exactly what he did next. He ran his hand up her back and just held her close to his muscular body. After all, that's exactly what both he and Alex want to do. "God, you are so damn sexy…and I just want to do whatever I can to make you feel better. So, do you want to talk right now?" Going to grab Jay's hand, Alex then proceeded to play with his wedding band; the gold wedding band that he was now wearing, rather than wearing the cheep black wedding band that she originally gave him in case they went back to the CPD. But now, Jay is wearing a nice golden ring; a ring that Alex loves to look at and loves to kiss at times. And god, that's something that Jay loved the feeling of. "Now, that's a nice feeling that you gave me."

Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Oh, I know that you like it. But I am just starting to think about this, and I'm sorry that I didn't tell you about this earlier." Jay shook his head as he heard Alex say that, as he didn't need her to apologize. "Hey, you don't need to apologize to me baby. You can just breathe, and you can take it easy. You can relax, and you can make sure that you relax." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before moving his hand to her neck; after which, she leaned in and proceeded to kiss him softly. Just taking things nice and slow with her husband, Alex got close to her man again and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Do me a favor and just kiss me slowly Jay." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, ready to do this that for her; so, she just got close to him and slipped her legs in between his. At the same time, Jay wrapped his arms around Alex as they took things slow with her. "Listen, can we share a kiss and then maybe we can sit and talk about it?" Jay agreed with Alex.

"Oh, I can definitely agree to us doing that." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, just holding the man she loves close to her; taking things nice and slow with Jay, Alex smirked due to the fact that this is exactly what they both want to be doing with each other right now.
