Chapter Two Hundred and Fifty-Two
A New Prescription, and Hospital Cuddles

He decided to unpack their room while Gabby took a nap, so that he could make sure that they were all settled and everything when she woke up; however, while he was unpacking…he realized that they were missing something, something that he thought he really needed to have here at the hospital with him (other than his family and Andy, of course). Instead, that was his prescription for his PTSD medication. But of course, he wanted to make sure that it was still at home; so, he called his mom and got what he already knew was confirmed. And that was that he left his medication at home, and that he was going to need get some; even though his mom offered to bring it to him, which he didn't want her to do. He just told her that he would go to the pharmacy, and get himself a new prescription; and luckily, the pharmacy was more than okay with giving Matt a new prescription. Apparently, he isn't the first dad to do that; and they understand how some dads might not always remember to bring everything, so they dispensed the new prescription.

So now, Matt has everything that he needs here, at the hospital with him: his beautiful wife, their beautiful daughters Bella and Sofia, and his service dog Andy, which is something else that he took care of, taking him out to the washroom ahead of him and Gabby having some supper. Well, only after he gets changed of course; because that's exactly what Gabby wants him to do, ahead of him getting in bed with her. Well, just after he tells her just where she went. "So, did he have to go to the washroom?" Turning his head as he proceeded to close the door behind him, Matt smiled as his gorgeous wife. "Yes, and I also went to the pharmacy to get our prescriptions." Gabby was a bit confused as she heard Matt say that. "Our prescriptions?" Matt sighed as he finished clothing the door, before bending down and going to take off Andy's leach. "There you go Andy, go lay down boy." Andy then agreed, doing just that; after which, Matt moved to hang up his leach on the hook close to the door. At the same time, Matt walked over to Gabby.

"Yes, our prescriptions." Walking over to Gabby's side of the bed, Matt proceeded to set the bag of medication down; after which, he sat down next to his beautiful wife as she laid down in bed. And let's just say that was exactly what Gabby wanted, as she loves the fact that Matt is currently sitting down with her; after which, Matt moved his hand to her neck while bending down so that he could kiss her softly. And boy, did Gabby love it when Matt kissed her; because that was something that they both wanted to do right now, they wanted to share a kiss with each other as they both relaxed and held each other close. "Hi beautiful." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, while putting her hand on his and staring into his eyes. "So, what are you talking about when it comes to our prescriptions?" Sitting up again, Matt smiled as he moved his hand to her stomach once again; after which, he flashed her a smile.

"I got you your pain meds, and I went to go get my PTSD medication." Moving her hand on top of Matt's hand, Gabby agreed with him as he said that. "Did you need a new round?" Matt shook his head. "I just couldn't find them in my bag, then I called my mom; and they were in the bathroom, right where I left them." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before looking up into his eyes; after which, Matt bent down and proceeded to kiss the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. After all, this is exactly what they both want to do. "Do you need me to get you anything? Do you want me to get you water or anything?" Gabby smiled as she looked at the man she loves. "Right now, I'm good. I just woke up." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case. "I know, you were fast asleep when I left to go to the pharmacy, where I actually ran into Lisa Clarke." Gabby smiled.

"Let me guess, she sends her and Jeff's best?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before moving his hand to her neck; after which, he stroked her cheek and just smiled as he bent down and proceeded to kiss her softly. And god, this is exactly what he wants. "Okay, so I want to just remind you that you need to calm down and take it easy." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I know baby, and I promise to relax." Smiling at the woman he loves, Matt smiled due to the fact that this is just what he wants right now; he wants to the hold the woman he loves as she just relaxes in bed right now, which is exactly what she needs to do right now. She needs to relax, and she needs Matt to join her in bed. "Listen, I think I would really like for you to join me in bed; and I want you to hold me close, as we cuddle up to each other." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, smiling at her.

"I love that idea, because I most certainly want to do just that. I want to hold my gorgeous wife close to me, and I just want to relax with you; because this is going to be my first night for the rest of my life…where you are the only woman in my arms." Gabby smiled as Matt likes the sound of that, before watching as he bent down and proceeded to kiss her softly; meanwhile, she put her hand on his chest and started to take things nice and slow with the man of her dreams. And that's something that she continued to do, while also moving his hand to the side of his face due to the fact that this is just what they need to do. "Listen, I know you want to keep kissing me; but we both know that I can't go too far right now, because we need to relax and take it easy with each other. And that means that you can't look so sexy right now." Matt laughed as he heard Gabby say that, well aware of what she was talking about. She was talking about how she doesn't want him to just wear his boxers, at least not yet. "Well, for now." Matt laughed as he heard his wife.

"Well, I think that we both thought the same way." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, just smiling at her. "How are you feeling right now, anyways? Do you want to take some pain meds right now?" Gabby took a breath as Matt asked her that, before thinking about whether she should take any pain meds. "I think I'm okay right now, and I can just relax; I don't need any for now, because I'm just going to cuddle up to you." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before moving his hand to her neck; after which, he bent down and proceeded to kiss her softly. "I love you Gabby, and I am so glad that we have this life." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Okay, I think we both know that we need to calm down; we need to take it easy, and I need you to relax." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that. "Okay, I'm going to go get changed again." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "Boxers and a t-shirt again?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before bending down and kissing her softly one last time.

Coming out of the bathroom wearing his boxers and a t-shirt, Matt smiled as he looked at the love of his life while she relaxed in bed; but at the same time, he also knew that she was also in pain at the moment. So much so, that he thinks he need to do something for his wife, which would be to offer her some pain meds, along with some water. But first, he's going to walk over to his beautiful daughters; that way, he can check on them and just smile at them. Looking at Bella, Matt smiled as he reached in and stroked her cheek with his thumb. "God, you really do live up to your name Bella; because you are so beautiful, yes you are princess. And daddy already loves you more than anything in the entire world." Smiling at she heard Matt say that, Gabby couldn't but feel happy; I mean, what mom doesn't like it when her husband talks to their children that way. "I swear, you always know the perfect way to talk to the kids; both the boys, and now the girls." Turning his head as she said that, Matt smiled as he loved the compliment that Gabby gave him.

"So, what are we doing right now? Do you want to eat anything? Or do you want to just relax?" Gabby laughed as she proceeded to try and sit up, getting to do it this time. "Hey, you okay baby?" Gabby agreed. "Yeah, I'm okay. I promise baby." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, because that was exactly what he wanted to her anyways; he wants his wife to be okay, even though he knows that she's also worried. "Just take a breath and relax Gabby. I promise that I'm on my way to you; and that you can just take it easy." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, ready to just relax with her man as they cuddle up to each other in bed once more. After all, that's exactly what they both want to do right now; they want to cuddle up to each other in bed, and they just want to hold each other close. But Gabby also knows that they need to do it carefully, as she doesn't want to do anything that can ruin her stitches. "You worried about my stitches?" Looking at his wife as she asked him that, Matt sighed as he was worried about her stitches. "Always."

Making his way over to his bags, Matt went ahead and set them down so that they were out of Andy's way; that way, he doesn't get fur all over them…and so that he doesn't think that he's going anywhere, for now. However, he also decided to only put his shirt in the laundry, which is why he dropped his shirt onto what Gabby was the ground. "Baby, why did you just throw your shirt onto the ground?" Matt snickered as he turned his head. "Not the ground, it's a hamper." Bending down, Matt grabbed it to show that it was his laundry hamper from home. "I brought it since we're going to be here for a while." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "Good idea." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before turning his head and looking at his beautiful wife. "You want to know what's another good idea that I just had?" Gabby looked up at Matt when he said that. "No, what's that idea?" Matt smirked as he walked over to their bed, before going to set his phone down on his charger. "For me to get in bed with the woman I love like crazy."

Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, as that was exactly what she wanted her man to do for her right now; because it'll make her comfortable, and that's exactly what she needs right now. "I would love that, because it's going to make me comfortable." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case. "I had a feeling that was going to be the case, that it was going to make you comfortable." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before pointing towards her lips as he stood next to their hospital bed. And lucky for her, Matt already knew exactly what that meant; she wants him to bend down and kiss her, which is something that he's more than willing to do. After all, he loves kissing his wife; and it's exactly what he wants to do, before joining her in bed. So, it's just what he did. He leaned over Gabby and kissed her softly. "I love you Gabby." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that he loves her. "I know you do baby." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that. "You ready for me to join you?" Gabby smiled. "Yes."

Climbing into bed with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world, Matt smiled due to the fact that this truly is exactly where he needs to be at the moment. He needs to be in bed with the woman he loves, and he needs to be holding her close; just like she wants and needs him to do. That way, he can give her both pleasure, as well as the comfort that she needs; because Matt has a feeling that she's still dealing with something else, related to the fact that they should have three children with them in their room at the moment (rather than just the girls). They should have their son with them as well, but it wasn't meant to be and the truth is, Matt's okay with that. If he had to loose his son, just to make sure that the love of his life and his daughters were okay; then Matt could live with never meeting their third son, because Gabby is the only woman that he wants to be with for the rest of his life. She's his one and only, the love of his life, the mother of his children, his miracle, and his beautiful wife.

The woman he plans on holding in his arms for their entire hospital stay, because Matt knows that it's what she really wants him to do. She wants him to hold her close during their entire hospital stay, and she wants him to make her relax, while also concentrating on just recovering and taking it easy. And that's something that Matt will most certainly do for her, as he doesn't plan on doing anything other than spending time with her and their daughters; here, he's a husband and father, and nothing more. A husband who is ready to do exactly what Gabby needs him to do, as he gets comfortable and leans back against his pillow. "Did somebody say that they want their husband to hold them in his arms as we cuddle in bed?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before smirking as she carefully moved over so that she could get in lap; something that Matt requested she did, as he doesn't want anything like last time to happen. "That's it baby, remember to take it easy for me." Gabby agreed with her loving husband as he said that. "I know Matt."

Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, smiling as he watched her move into his lap.

Cuddling up to Matt shortly after joining him in his lap, Gabby couldn't help but smile as she felt him slip down in bed and wrap his legs around hers; that being his way to ensure that she couldn't leave him, not that she wants to leave him as she just laid her head down on his heart. Because at the end of the day, that's exactly where Gabby wants her head to be; or more specifically, where she wants her ear to be. She wants to listen to her husband's heartbeat under her eardrum, as she cuddles up to the man of her dreams, which is something Matt is more than ready and willing to help her do, as he wrapped his arm around her back and kissed her forehead softly. And while at first, Matt was going to ask her whether she was comfortable…he soon realized that there truly was no reason do to that, because he already knew the answer to his question. Rather, he just reached over to the side table and grabbed the TV remote so that he could turn the TV on; however, that wasn't what Gabby wanted. She wanted to hear him ask her the question.

She wanted to have him ask her whether she was comfortable, so she made sure that he knew what question she was waiting for him to ask her. "Aren't you going to ask me whether I'm comfortable?" Setting the TV remote down next to him on their bed, Matt turned his head and looked at his beautiful wife because he already knew the answer to that question; but you already knew that, and why he didn't ask it. But it seems like Matt is going to have to explain that to his wife, because he doesn't want to make her mad; rather, he wants to please her. And while he would love to please her sexually, that isn't possible at the moment based on the circumstances; in fact, he truly shouldn't even be thinking this way. Rather, he should just be concentrating on helping his wife feel better; and that starts with getting her to forgive him for not asking her whether she's comfortable. "Sorry baby, forgive me for not asking you whether you're comfortable; are you?" And that's when Matt realized that true motive behind her wanting him to ask her that question.

It wasn't for him to ask her whether she was comfortable, but it was if she was okay. "Hey, you okay baby?" Gabby took a breath (again) when he asked her that question, a question that she knew that she needed to give an honest answer to. "I just have a lot on my mind, and I wanted to tell you." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before thinking about going to set the TV remote back down. "But that doesn't mean that I want to talk about it yet, I just wanted to let you know that I am going to want to talk tomorrow; if that's okay with you?" Turning his head as he wrapped his arm around Gabby's back, before stroking it with his thumb; Matt nodded, and proceeded to kiss her forehead softly. "Hey, that's never going to be a question that you need to ask me baby. If you need to talk to me, then I'll shut the TV off, and we can talk." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "I should've already known that…sorry." Matt shook his head as he heard gabby say that, because he didn't want to hear that; nor did he want to watch tv right now.

Rather, he wanted to calm his wife down. "Hey, look up at me for a minute Gabby." Doing just that, Gabby looked up into Matt's gorgeous eyes that she loves more than anything; at the same time, Matt moved his hand to her back and stroked it with his thumb. "I never want you to apologize when we talk like that. Gabby, I want you to be honest with me; and I want you to tell me when you think we need to talk, because that's what we agreed to do. We agreed to talk to each other, if we ever felt like we need to talk. And if that's what you feel like you need to do right now, then that's what we're going to do." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case; after all, she does have the best husband in the entire world. "Listen, do you want me to order us some supper? And we can talk over supper?" Gabby though about what she wanted, and agreed with the man she loves. "Should we eat in here though?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she asked him that. "We need to, as you're on bedrest." Gabby agreed with Matt.

"Okay, then can you order us something easy? I'm not that hungry, and I'm not pumping yet." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before rubbing her back and bending down to kiss her forehead softly. "Of course, I can do that for you Gabby, because I love you more than anything in the entire world." Gabby agreed with Matt, and just smiled as her husband truly is the best man in the entire world. He's so loving, caring and just really handsome, which is the exact reason why she's glad that she gets to have him as her husband, for the rest of her life. "Keep your shirt on for now though." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before going to grab the phone. "What do you want tonight?" Gabby smiled. "Just some wraps, if that's okay?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, liking that idea as he knew that it would be something that Gabby would enjoy. It would allow her to just take it easy, and to relax. "Then I am going to order you just that, and we can have your mom's food tomorrow." That's when Gabby remembered something.

"Actually, can you go sese whether she made us pasta? Maybe we can have that, I want something like that right now because I want feel better food." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, because he loves that idea; especially since he knows that Camila's food is Gabby's go-to feel better food. "Okay, you need to let me up then so that I can go get said feel better food for you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before giving him one last kiss. "Maybe we can do boxers after? I'm not sure if I'm going to move again or want you to move." Matt sighed. "I may need to get up so that I can take Andy out one last time." Gabby agreed with Matt, before turning her head to look at the service dog. "He was being so quiet, that I actually forgot he was here." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before smiling as he kissed her forehead softly. "Listen, I am going to go see if we have pasta; then we can eat supper." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before moving out of his arms so that he could get up. "BY the way, quick thanks."

Turning to look at Gabby as she laid down in bed, Matt wasn't sure what she was thanking him about. "What are you thanking me for, baby?" Gabby smiled. "For making sure that they stitched me up in a way that allows me to lay down on your chest, as we recover in the hospital." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that it was something she was going to want to do; plus, he wanted it too. "I wanted it too, so I may have done it for my sake too." Gabby snickered as she heard Matt say that, having just realized that as he leaned over her and moved his hand to her neck; after which, Matt bent down and proceeded to kiss her softly. And let's just say that was exactly what she wanted, to feel her husband kiss her in such a passionate manner. "I love you Matt." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that. "I love you too. Now, how about we adjust the bed so that you can sit up a bit more while we eat?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before laying down on her back; at the same time, Matt proceeded to adjust the bed a bit.

After which, he made sure that Gabby was okay. "That okay with you?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he asked her whether she was okay with the way that he just set up the bed, as she most certainly was. "I am more than okay with how you just set up the bed, especially since I am very comfortable at the moment." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that. "Good, now I'll be right back." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before walking away so that he could go make him and Gabby some supper; but little did he know, that he would also be getting Gabby something that she wanted in the first place in the process.
