Hi Readers: Sorry for the delay in getting this chapter out to you guys. I ended up taking a bit of time to write this chapter, because I wanted to make it just write for you guys; especially since I gave you two short chapters in a row. So, this one has to be long.

Chapter Two Hundred and Sixty-One
Family Time: Breakfast

Halstead Primary Suite – Walking into her and Jay's bedroom with breakfast this morning, Alex Halstead couldn't help but smile at the sight in front of her; the sight of her husband and their twins in the play pen, quietly playing with each other right now. After all, that was exactly what Alex wanted her children to do right now; as she needed to talk to their father, who was currently wearing some nice sweats…more specifically, the sweats that she absolutely loves seeing him wear. And god, they are so damn sexy; and so is he, especially when he's so damn muscular. Then again, Alex loves the sight of him being shirtless in any pants he wears because of how muscular he is; heck, he can even just wear jeans and she would be okay with that. Another thing that she's okay with? Well, that would be if Jay was interested in staying in the kids' play pen while he has breakfast; because that would be so damn adorable, and she knew that it would calm him down right now. God, the drama that they just had this morning was horrible; and she hated it.

But now, she, Alex, and the kids were all alone; and they weren't going to be disturbed, because of the news that she has to share with her husband. But first, she's going to bring the food over to bed; no need for her to disturb a beautiful sight before she's ready to get her husband in bed. Then, she can do something else; something that is quite adorable in her opinion, because Jay is going to love what she's going to do…just as soon as she closes the door behind her and takes off her shirt. Because that's something else that she wants to give her husband today, as they cuddle up to each other; the sexy lingerie that she's currently wearing underneath her clothes, which she already knows Jay is going to absolutely adore. Heck, he may even want to take them off; but that's not something that they can do, as they have the children (and they need to talk)…especially after some things that she spoke with her father about, and that she wants to speak to her husband about; and at some point, she also wants to collect on that massage he promised her.

But first, she needs to eat; then, she'll climb in his lap (with the both of them wearing their undergarments) and she'll get her man to give her a massage. So, she made sure to get ready for them in bed by starting her routine; the routine and steps that she follows, ahead of her getting in bed with the man of her dreams. And what might that be? Well, that would be her taking off her shirt; that way, she could reveal the lingerie that she was wearing and get him to calm down. Because that was something else that she new, that her husband would calm down if he was holding her in his arms; with her just wearing some sexy lingerie, as they cuddle up to each other in bed. And now, that's exactly what she's going to start doing as she made her way over to the top of her bed. Picking up her pillow, Alex proceeded to set her shirt down on their bed; after which, Alex smirked as she went ahead and went to take off her shorts. That way, she was wearing exactly what Jay wanted her to be wearing right now. And that would be her sexy lingerie that he likes.

And now, she's on her way to get her husband away from their kids; because as adorable as they are, she wants to have her husband to herself right now. Well, not all to herself; she can at least share the room with her kids, and they can watch them play with each other. But that's all she wants to do right now, as she wants to have her husband in bed. And now, that's exactly what she's going to get him to do. Standing behind her man, Alex smirked as she put her hands on her shoulders and looked at the man she loves. "Hey you." Turning his head, Jay smirked as he looked up at his wife. "Oh, damn." Alex laughed as she heard Jay say that, well aware that he likes the sight of her in her lingerie; so much so, that Jay stood up and then got close to her. After which, he wrapped his arms around her and just smirked as he felt Alex put her hands on his arms. "God, what's this all about?" Alex smirked as she looked at her man as he asked her that. "Oh, I just wanted to give you a bit of something." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, smirking at his wife.

After which, he got close to her once more and leaned in so that he could kiss her softly. And let's just say that Alex really likes that feeling, the feeling of her loving husband's soft lips on hers. "Okay, now that's something that I love the feeling of." Jay laughed as he heard Alex say that, well aware that was the case. "Oh, I most certainly know that you love the feeling of my lips on yours." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before smiling as she got close to her man; after which, she wrapped her arms around his neck and just held him close. Meanwhile, Jay moved his hands to Alex's back; but at the same time, he could just tell that something was up right now. That something was wrong, and that Alex had something on her mind at the moment. Leaning back, Jay looked at Alex and smiled at his gorgeous wife. "Okay, you have something on your mind; and you are not going to say that you don't, because I can read you better than you think." Alex took a breath as she looked at Jay. "Didn't you hear the yelling that was happening outside?"

Jay sighed as he stepped close to the woman he loves; after which, he proceeded to grab her hands and intertwined their fingers. "I was secretly hoping that it was coming from next door." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Yeah, I can see that being the case." Jay took a breath as he heard Alex say that, before just looking at his beautiful wife; after which, he moved his hands to her neck and proceeded to kiss the woman he loves…who just so happens to also be the woman he can clearly see has a lot on her mind, and that she needs to talk to him right now. And if Alex needs to talk right now, then he most certainly is going to be there for them to talk; but first, he's going to get close to Alex and wrap his arms around her. Meanwhile, Alex put her hands on his arms and looked up at the man she loves; after which, she moved her hands to his chest and kissed him softly. Meanwhile, Jay moved his hands to her back and just held the woman he loves close to him. "So, I can only assume that things went hard out there."

Alex sighed as she heard her husband ask her that, before agreeing with him as he mentioned that she and her dad had a hard conversation. "Yeah, I want to fill you in on all of that." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, glad that was the case. "Well, I'm glad that's the case, because I most certainly do want to know what happened out there." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before taking a breath as she pushed a strand of her hair behind her ear. "Do you mind if we get in bed? We can hold each other in there." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that. "Of course, and I can hold you in my arms as we both just cuddle up to each other in bed. I want to help you Alex, and I promise that we will." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before getting close to him; after which, she wrapped her arms around him and leaned up to kiss him softly. "And I want to do the same, which is why I promise things are going to change around here." Jay was confused as he heard Alex say that, unsure as to why things need to change here. "Hey, what's that about?"

Taking a breath, Alex looked at Jay as he asked her that. "Maybe we can get in bed? We can have food, and then we can talk? I just had a fight with Hank, and I need to just take a breath and relax." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that. "Do you want to get comfortable? Like back to how we like to be with each other?" Alex smiled as she heard Jay say that, before looking at the man she loves. ":Yes, I would love it if you took your sweats off." Jay agreed with Alex as he said that, as that was something that he was going to do for her. "Let's both get undressed, and then we can get in bed with each other; we can take the dishes outside later, when we're alone." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before getting close to her husband. At the same time, Alex smiled as she put her hands on his chest and leaned in so that she can kiss him softly; and that most certainly is something that Jay wants. "God, I love you so much." Alex agreed with Jay as he told her that, before smiling. "I love you too. Now, what do you say we get in bed with each other?" Jay agreed.

"You go get in bed, and I'll take off my sweats. Then I'll get in bed with you too." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before leaning in so that she could kiss him again; after which, she walked away and proceeded to go get in bed ahead of the man she loves. Meanwhile, Jay made his way over to his dresser so that he could take off his sweats, and then put some deodorant (and maybe even some cologne) on for his beautiful wife. "Just deodorant, or do you want cologne too?" Alex smirked as Jay asked her whether she wants some cologne. "Armani?" Jay agreed with Alex as he proceeded to take off his sweatpants so that he was just wearing his boxers, after which he went ahead and grabbed the Armani cologne that he had on top of his dresser; the cologne that always drives Alex crazy, which is most definitely something that she deserves as she wears that sexy lingerie that he loves more than anything. "I have to say, I really like that lingerie that you're wearing for me right now." Alex agreed with Jay as he told her that.

"Oh, I am well aware that's a fact. Why do you think I wore it for you?" Jay snickered a bit as he looked at the woman he loves, before grabbing his phone from his sweat pant pockets; that way, he was ready to make his way over to bed. After all he just completed everything that he needed to do ahead of him joining his gorgeous wife in bed: he took off his sweatpants (check), he grabbed his phone out of the pocket of his sweatpants (check), and he put on some Armani cologne for his gorgeous wife (as she requested). But now, there was just one thing that he needed to do: he needed to get in bed with the woman he loves, and he needs to get close to her so that they can enjoy a nice breakfast with each other. "Do you at least like the breakfast that your dad made for us?" Alex sighed as she looked at Jay, while watching as he got in bed with her. "Can we both agree that we aren't going to talk about him? Right now, I just want to concentrate on us and having breakfast right now." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, liking that idea.

"I think that's something that we can both agree is the right thing to do, as we are on family time now." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before smiling as she watched the man she loves get close to her; after which, he leaned in and proceeded to kiss her softly. And boy did Alex love the feeling of his soft lips on hers. "I love you." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that. "I love you too Jay, and I am so glad that we have a bit of time right now." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, before smiling as he got comfortable; after which, he went ahead and grabbed the breakfast that her father made for the both of them. "You are so smart when you cut the pancakes for us." Jay snickered as he heard Alex say that, well aware that she likes it when he cuts the pancakes for her. "I know that it's what you want me to do, so I am going to do that every time." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before looking into his eyes; after which, she decided to grab his hand because she could tell that there was something on his mind. "Something's up with you now."

Jay sighed as he looked at his beautiful wife, as that most certainly is something that was the truth. He does have something on his mind, and it was related to her father. "Can we not talk about that yet? I want to eat first, and I just want to eat right now; I don't want to think about him for a moment, because I want to make sure that we take it easy." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Then here's what we're going to do. We're going to eat breakfast, and then we're going to hold each other close; once we're holding each other close, we'll breathe for a bit." Jay smiled as he heard Alex say that, because he was liking where this conversation was headed. "And only then will we talk about what happened in the kitchen." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, as that was exactly what they both wanted; along with them both wanting to share another kiss, which they did in due course after Jay leaned in to kiss her softly. "I love you." Alex agreed with Jay as he told her that, smiling as she loves her husband too.

"I love you too Jay." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, well aware that was the case. "I know that, and that's why we're never going to regret what decisions we make together when it comes to your father; we are a team, and we come first." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, as that was exactly what she was thinking…how she and Jay are teammates in life, and they are going to be the only ones to make the decisions they need to make with each other. "Okay, we can cover this after we eat. Right now, I want to just eat." Jay laughed, and agreed with Alex as she said that, before watching as Max went to jump on their bed; however, that was the last thing that they both wanted him to do. "Max, off. Get onto the ground." Max agreed with Jay as he said that, before going to get off the bed; after which, he went ahead and made his way back to his own bed to get comfortable. "How's he been with the kids this morning?" Jay smiled as he looked at Alex. "You have nothing to worry about when it comes to the kids Alex." Alex agreed.

"Hey, I know that Jay. I know that I have nothing to worry about when it comes to the kids, because he is so good with the kids too." Jay smiled as he heard Alex say that, before leaning in and proceeding to kiss her softly; after which, they both took things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "Okay, we need to take it easy and just relax. We also need to eat, so that we can talk to each other." Jay and Alex both agreed with each other, before smiling as they both went ahead and grabbed their individual plates; then, they proceeded to eat together. "Hey, at least we got breakfast out of him." Jay laughed, agreeing with his wife as she said that; as that most definitely is something he's happy about, because that's something that she has to be happy about. "He is a good cook." Jay agreed. "Okay, enough about him. Let's eat, and then we can talk about what happened out there." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, well aware that he wants to know what happened between her and her father, which she'll share.

Coming back into their room after bringing their plates to the kitchen and doing the dishes for the both of them this morning; Jay smirked as he walked in to see Alex laying down in bed quite comfortable. And she also looks quite relaxed, because he could just tell that they both need to talk. And now, that's exactly what they're going to do; just as soon as Jay took off his sweatpants once more, and he climbed into bed with the woman he loves again. "So, I am going to get in bed. How about afterwards, we start talking?" Turning to look at her husband as he asked her that, Alex smirked as that was exactly what she wanted to do; however, she also wanted to do something. "Okay, come here first. I want to do something for you." Jay was confused as he heard Alex say that. "And what might that be?" Alex smirked as she went to stand up next to the bed. "Come here." Jay just agreed with his wife as she said that, before making his way over to the side of his bed. And boy did he love the sight that was currently in front of him. So damn sexy.

And Alex was thinking the same way, just how sexy her husband is; especially when he has his arms around her, because that's exactly what she has right now. She has his arms around her, and her body against his chest. But now, Alex put her hands on his toned chest and just smiled as she got close to him; wrapping her arms around his neck in due course, Alex smirked as she kissed her husband softly. "You run into him?" Jay shook his head. "No, because he's not in there. He's in his room. But right now, we aren't talking about him, remember?" Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before smiling as she held him close and just smirked due to the fact that this is exactly what she wants. "What do you say we get back in bed, and we can hold each other close as we talk about it?" Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, before stepping close to her; after which, he grabbed her hands and bent down so that he could kiss her softly. He then grabbed her hand and smiled as he led Alex towards their bed, where they would cuddle up to each other and talk.

But first, Jay wants to do something for his wife; something that Alex might enjoy. He just needs to pin her in between him and their bed first, because then he can actually do what he wants to do. And just what might that be? Well, it's get his gorgeous wife dressed in the exact what that he wants her to be dressed right now. More specifically, he doesn't want her to be wearing a bra. So, he went ahead and walked right up behind Alex and tugged her back against his chest; he then moved his hands to her stomach and bent down to suck on her shoulder, which most definitely turned Alex on. "Oh Jay." Smirking as he heard Alex say that, Jay could tell that she was turned on. "Stay still for a minute." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before feeling him move his hands up her back; that way, he could take off her bra. And god, that was hot; especially when he finally got it off and proceeded to throw it away from them. "Oh, now that's how." Jay smirked as he heard Alex say that, well aware that was the case. After which, he watched her turn around.

And there was a reason that she just turned around, and it was due to the fact that she wanted to tease her husband in two ways. She wanted to step close to her husband, and then she wanted to take something off; more specifically, she wanted to take off his sweatpants. And damn, did Jay love the feeling of his wife tugging on her sweatpants. "Damn, now this is hot." Alex smirked as she undid his sweatpants while leaning up so that she could kiss her man softly, while also continuing to make sure that they both get undressed. And now, she's going to take it off. "God, you want my pants off; don't you babe?" Alex agreed with Jay as he asked her that, before feeling him more his hand to the side of her face; after which, he leaned in and kissed Alex softly. She then went ahead and proceeded to take off his sweats, which is what she wants…as he was now just wearing his boxers. "So damn sexy.:"

Jay laughed as he heard Alex say that, before moving his hands to her ass; after which, he squeezed her ass and smirked as he leaned in and kissed her softly. "What do you say me and you get in bed now, as that's what I want right now. I want you to get in bed with me." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, before smiling at her. "How about you get in bed? I'll carry my pants over to my dresser." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before smiling as she turned around and got in bed while just wearing her underwear; at the same time, Jay slapped her ass and smirked. "Jay!" Smirking as he bent down, Jay proceeded to grab his sweatpants and then carried them towards his dresser (while folding them up at the same time); after which, he smiled as he looked down at the twins. "Yeah, daddy is a bit hormonal right now. But he promises that he's going to be calm." Laughing as she heard Jay say that, Alex looked at the man she loves. "Oh, I am well aware that's the case." Jay then smiled as he went to set his sweatpants down on his dresser.

Turning to look at Alex, Jay smiled. "So, you just want to cuddle and take it easy?" Alex agreed with Jay as he asked her that, as that most definitely is what she wants. She wants to cuddle up to the man of her dreams, while their children play with each other. "I think we both know that's exactly what we both want to do…especially since I'm just wearing my underwear for you." Jay smirked as he heard Alex say that, before making his way back over to their bed so that he could join Alex once more; then, he'd just hold her in his arms while they spend some quality time with each other. Not like they need to do anything else right now.
