Hi Readers: I know that I said that I would only post here every once and a while, and that you wouldn't get another update today; but I changed my mind, as I got an idea for a chapter. An idea that I couldn't keep from you guys, even though it's a short chapter.

Chapter Two Hundred and Sixty-Eight
Nap Time, Sex Time, Fight Time

Primary Suite, Halstead Home – To say that Alex was happy that the twins were now staying in their own room was an understatement, as she was thrilled to have her own room back; that way, she could do this with the man she loves. She could work out with him in their bedroom, and just have him all to herself; but this was no ordinary workout, because they were not using weights to work out right now. Rather, the only weight that they had to deal with right now was the sheets the covered their naked bodies; the bodies that they had their hands all over at the moment, as that was exactly what Jay and Alex wanted from each other at the moment. They wanted to be intimate with each other, and they wanted to enjoy this time that they were blessed with; time that involved them solely concentrating on each other, while also listening to the baby monitor (which Jay made sure to put on high). But still, Alex felt like she needed to take sure that the baby monitor was on high. "It's on high, right Jay?" Confused, Jay leaned back.

"What are you talking about?"

Taking a breath as she heard Jay wonder (out loud) what she was talking about, Alex proceeded to put her hand on his toned chest; after which, Jay put his hand on Alex's arm and smiled at her (while waiting for her answer). And answer that she gave promptly after her loving husband put his hand on her arm and tried to lean down and kiss her. "I'm talking about the baby monitor." Realizing that, Jay agreed with Alex as he didn't want her to worry about whether the baby monitor was on right now; as it was on, and it was currently in a place where he can hear it. "You have nothing to worry about when it comes to that Alex, as I have the baby monitor on high. And I can hear it loud and clear." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, glad that was the case. "Sorry, I should trust you; but I…" Moving his arms around Alex's back, Jay leaned down and proceeded to crash his lips into hers so that he could calm her down. "Okay, take a breath and just relax Alex; please, breathe for me." Alex agreed with her husband, before smiling as she breathed.

After which, she felt Jay run his hands all over her body (once more) as he bent down and kissed her again. "I love you Alex, and I mean it when I say that you have nothing to worry about. The baby monitor is on high, and I can hear it." Taking a breath, Alex looked down as she agreed with her husband; but Jay could just tell that there was something else that was going on in her head, something that she needed to talk to him about. "You need to talk to me?" Looking up at Jay as he asked her that, Alex bit her lip as she didn't want to interrupt what they were in the midst of doing. "No, I'm good." However, Jay could tell that Alex had something on her mind, which was the entire reason why he decided that he wasn't going to listen to what his wife just told him, and was instead going to roll over onto his back so that he could invite his gorgeous wife to lay down on his chest. And luckily, Alex got the message and did just that; just like he wanted and felt like she needed him to do right now. "Is this what you really want me to do right now?"

Laughing a bit as he felt Alex lay down on his chest, Jay smiled as he proceeded to grab the sheets; after which, he tugged them up on top of the both of them (while also wrapping his arm around her back). Meanwhile, Alex put her hand on his toned chest as she cuddled up to her incredible husband; and boy did she really get comfortable on his chest, especially as she felt Jay wrap his arm around her and start running his fingers through her hair. After which, he turned his head and kissed her forehead softly for a moment. "Okay, I hate that I am going to even do this…" Laughing a bit, Alex proceeded to lay her head down on Jay's shoulder; at the same time, she just got nice and comfortable on her loving husband's chest. "Let me guess, you want to talk about what happened with my dad?" Jay sighed as Alex asked him whether he wants to talk about what happened with her dad, as that was the truth; he wants to talk about what happened with Hank, as he doesn't want it to be hanging over the both of them for the rest of the holidays.

"Can I just explain why I want to talk about it?"

Agreeing with Jay as he asked her whether he can explain why he wants to walk about it, Alex just smiled due to the fact that she already knew why he wanted to talk about it; because her husband is just that predictable, and due to the fact that she already knew that this was something that they were going to do here in bed. "Jay, I hope you know that we were already going to do this here." Turning his head to look down at Alex, Jay was a bit confused; after all, he didn't tell her anything about the fact that he wanted to talk to her about this until now. "Okay, last time I checked; this is the first time that I have ever spoken to you about wanting to talk about this, and I am not sure where else you could've gotten your information." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, well aware that was the case. "And I know that Jay but isn't not because you spoke to me about it." Jay agreed with Alex, before smiling and kissing her. At the same time, Alex decided to tease her husband by moving her body against his. "Okay, now that's a real turn on." Alex agreed.

"Oh, I know that I turn you on when I do that; why do you think I do it whenever we're in bed together?" Smiling as he heard Alex say that, Jay just continued to run his fingers through her hair as they both enjoyed this time that they have with each other. Time where Jay can run his fingers through her hair, while also enjoying the feeling of her naked body on his chest. "I hope you know that I expect you to stay like this for a while." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, well aware that was the case as she proceeded to kiss his neck softly. "Oh, I am well aware that you want me to stay like this for a while; and I am more than ready to do this for the rest of the day, as I am very comfortable. I may just ask that we put our boxers and underwear on later." Jay agreed with Alex. "Then how about you get off, and I can get them for us." Turning her head, Alex looked up at Jay. "Do you not understand the meaning of the word later? As in, not yet. We can do it when the kids need to eat." Jay agreed with Alex, liking that idea; and not just because he's really comfortable.

Okay, maybe that's the main reason; him being extremely comfortable and turned on by the feeling of his wife's naked body on his chest. After all, there's just something about the way he holds her close to him that makes the both of them happy. "I hope you know that this makes me happy." Laughing as she heard Jay say that, Alex turned her head and bent down to kiss his chest softly. "Oh, I am well aware that this makes you happy; why do you think we're in the midst of doing this right now?" That's when Jay started to think about something, and he hates that he's thinking about it. "No, please don't tell me…" Looking up at Jay, Alex was confused as to what he was talking about. "Hey, what are you talking about?" Jay sighed, before looking down at Alex. "Are you thinking that you're pregnant, or at least were pregnant and now you may have miscarried again?"

Deciding to put her underwear on after all, Alex took a breath as she walked away to go grab her man's boxers; and there was a reason why she was doing it, and that was due to the fact that she was currently quite mad at her husband. But apparently, her idiot of a husband couldn't figure that out as he sat up in bed (while waiting for her to give him his boxers). "Okay, what's up with the huffing? Are you mad at me or something?" Turning to look at her husband as he asked her that question, Alex was shocked that Jay didn't KNOW that she was mad at him at the moment; I mean, she did just get out of bed right now. "Gee, I wonder what gave you that bright idea!" Looking at Alex as she threw him his boxers, Jay sighed as he could now tell that Alex was mad at him; and he could also tell that he really screwed up, which meant that he may be done getting action today. "Want me to put pants on?" Sighing, Alex shook her head as that was not what she wanted. She didn't want him to put pants on…not when she liked him in boxers like he is now.

"No, but I do want an apology; and I want you to get back in bed so that we can talk about how much of an idiot you are." Putting his hands on his hips after adjusting the waistband of his boxers, Jay looked at Alex as he didn't understand why she was calling him an idiot; and man, did Jay really regret doing that now that he knew why she was mad. "Seriously? You have no idea why I'm mad that you even suggested that I was pregnant again!" Looking at his wife as she said that, Jay took a breath as he went to walk over to her; however, Alex wasn't having it. Rather, he decided to walk over to her bathrobe and put it on. After all, she needs some time right now. Time to take a breather and just relax. And Jay understood that, which was why he didn't run after her (right away); rather, he decided to give her a moment and just get dressed. Then, he would go check on the kids in their room ahead of going downstairs; where he would (hopefully) find Alex and talk to her….where he would apologize and try to make things better.

Making his way downstairs after deciding to get dressed, Jay took a breath as he saw Alex standing in the kitchen wearing her bathrobe; while at the same time, she was currently in the midst of drinking a glass of water. Water that most certainly was her way of calming down, after just getting into an argument with him, which was the last thing that he wanted, and was the entire reason why he came downstairs in the first place. He really hates being in a fight with Alex, which is why he needs to apologize to the woman he loves; he just hopes that he gets a chance to do it, as he holds her close to him (hopefully). "I thought I'd find you in the kitchen." Turning around to look at Jay, Alex took a breath as she felt a little bad that she was doing here, rather than being upstairs and talking things out in between the both of them. "Sorry I ran." Jay shook his head as Alex apologize for running, as that was more than okay.

"Hey, you had every right to run. And I could just tell that if you didn't run, then you were going to tell at me." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, while also watching the man she loves walk over to her; meanwhile, Jay just took a breath as he was worried that he was even going to be allowed close to her. "Can I get close to you?" Extending her hands, Alex agreed as that was what she wanted. "Just keep my clothes on." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, snickering a bit as he made his way over to his beautiful wife; after which, he went ahead and wrapped his arms around her. Meanwhile, Alex wrapped her arms around his back as they both held each other close. "I promise, I'm going to keep our clothes on; because that's what we need to do when we're in a fight, until we work it out with each other." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, glad that was the case as she felt him move his hand to the side of her face.

After which, Jay proceeded to bend down and kiss her softly. "I'm sorry." Alex agreed with her husband as he told her that. "For what it's worth, no. No, I'm not pregnant; and I don't plan on getting pregnant for at least two years, if we do it again." Jay just looked at his wife as she said that, a bit surprised at what she just told him.

"Sorry, did you just say that you don't plan on getting pregnant for two years?"
