Hey guys! This is my first ever story on FanFiction. It is a Preyna story. I will see how many chapters I make this. But again, my FIRST story, so please, no hate! Disclaimer: I do not own Heroes of Olympus!
Reyna's POV
Reyna Avila Ramirez-Arellano had always thought that Percy Jackson was attractive. The Venus girls definitely did. They swooned every time they saw him fighting in the arena or walking around camp Jupiter doing various praetor things. But he got under her skin a lot. He was always goofing off or doing stuff pretty unprecedented for a praetor. But he was still a good one, and Reyna was sure she had made the right choice. It was either Octavian or Percy, and Percy was definitely the better option.
These were her thoughts as she looked over Percy's shoulder in the mess hall. He was supposed to be signing documents for the legion. He had only signed 2 out of 18 papers and was just focusing on his food.
She sighed as she picked up the papers. Percy's head snapped up to look at her. "Oh, sorry, Reyna." He said. "I was going to sign those documents, I swear it on the Styx!"
Reyna tucked the documents under her arm. "I think I will, Percy. I'll get them done faster. Trust me."
Percy stood up abruptly, knocking Reyna off balance. She would've fallen over if Percy hadn't caught her in time. "I'm so sorry!" he exclaimed. "I didn't mean to bump you." He smiled shyly. She blushed, looking into his sea-green eyes. When it got awkward, Percy let go of her. She straightened out her toga and T-shirt, while Percy picked up the fallen papers.
"I think I will finish these, Reyna," Said Percy smiling. Reyna rolled her eyes. "Fine! But they better be done by tomorrow night!"
"I won't let you down," Percy said, flashing that smile of his again. Reyna blushed once more but she turned away so Percy wouldn't see her.

Same POV
Reyna sat in the Garden of Bacchus, her favorite place in all of New Rome. Her first thought while she was there was of the greeks, and how they were to come to Camp Jupiter any day now. How long would they stay? Would Jason be with them?
Her thought subconsciously turned to Jason Grace, the boy she had crushed on for so many years- until he left.
Jason Grace. The name stirred painful memories. Memories of rejected advances. So many advances. The time she first reached for his hand. The time she placed her head on his shoulder while watching a silent movie. And the time she tried to kiss him.
No. She told herself. You must not dwindle on things that can't be.
Also subconsciously, her thoughts went to Percy. His tousled black hair, his shimmering sea green eyes. His smile. Gods of Olympus, his smile.
She started to lecture herself. She couldn't think about boys at a time like this! The war with Gaea was upon them. The greeks were near. She stood up and brushed herself off. She headed for the arena.
What did you think? Should I write more? Please review!
