Hi Readers: What did you guys think of all the Jacobs chapters that I gave you today? I know that there have only been two chapters, but I think that's okay for them now; after all, we can't really cover other people all the time. Rather, we need to cover other people More specifically, we need to cover the namesake of our story; and that's exactly what I'm going to do, go back to the Casey Family.

Chapter Two Hundred and Ninety-Three
Goodnight Casey Family

Casey Hospital Suite, Kapiolani-Tripler AMC – She had one request for their post-supper activities today, that her husband take a shower since he was starting to smell; after all, he didn't take a shower this morning. So, he ended up taking one tonight after giving both of the boys a bath in the sink. But now, he was out of the bathroom and smiling at his beautiful wife as she relaxed in bed while adjusting her shirt. And there was a reason for that, which was due to the fact that she didn't want Matt to worry about her; even though that's exactly what he's doing right now, because he saw Gabby lift up her shirt. "Is there a reason why you're trying to hide the fact that you were looking at your stitches?" Taking a breath, Gabby looked at Matt as she admired his muscular body as he looked hot; especially as he was currently walking out of the washroom while just wearing his boxers, which is exactly what she wants now. She wants him wearing his boxers, as he cuddles up to her in bed. But still, she does have to answer his question right now; and unfortunately, she had to answer the question in the affirmative. "Yeah, I was looking at them." Matt agreed with his wife.

After all, he could tell that she has a lot on her mind right now. "Do you want to talk about the fact that you looked at it, and just what's going on?" Taking a breath, Gabby turned her head and looked at the kids as they all relaxed in their individual cribs; with the boys currently taking it easy in their cribs, where they hope they're going to stay and just fall asleep when they're ready to fall asleep. And the truth is, that's probably what they're going to end up doing; falling asleep just as soon as they're ready to fall asleep, and that's something that she likes as it means that she can concentrate on just relaxing and taking it easy. "I actually like the fact that all four of the kids are currently in their cribs." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before making his way over to his bag; after which, he set his clothes and towel down. He then proceeded to grab his deodorant and smiled as he made his way over to Matteo and Noah's cribs and boy did they look adorable. But at the same time, Matt could tell that Noah was ready to fall asleep, which is something that she wants him to do, if he's tired. So, he went ahead and proceeded to tell him that this evening.

Stroking his cheek, Matt smiled as he bent down and kissed his forehead softly while whispering to him. "It's okay Noah, you can go to sleep whenever you want; you don't need to stay awake, just go to sleep little man." He then kissed his forehead again, as he tried to make sure that he was asleep soon. After which, Matt got up and proceeded to put some more deodorant one while turning to look at the woman he loves, who just so happened to also be the woman who is currently staring at him. "You know, it's kind of weird when a woman stares at a married man when he's just wearing his boxers." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that. "Well last time I checked, you're wearing my wedding band; so that makes you my husband." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before smirking when he thought about something. "That reminds me of something." Gabby was confused as she heard Matt say that. "What's that?" Making his way over to Gabby's bags, Matt went to go find something that she's yet to put back on; but now that he's thinking about it, she's going to put it back on. And just what might that be? Well, that would be her wedding ring; the right that she wasn't wearing due to the fact that her fingers swell a lot during pregnancy, so she takes them off. Or at least she did, as this is their last pregnancy.

But now, Gabby is done being pregnant, and not just during this pregnancy, but for the rest of her life. And that's what really makes Matt smile right now, because that means that Gabby is not just putting her wedding ring back on now because she's done being pregnant (which she is); but at the same time, Gabby will no longer have to take off her wedding ring unless they get into a fight. But in his opinion, they are now going to be in such a bad place ever again; so that means that her rings are going to be staying on her finger for the rest of her life, but only after she puts them. And that's why Matt was going to grab her ring and take a moment to admire it. Going to look at it first though, Matt smirked as it still looks as beautiful as ever. But it's going to look ever more beautiful when it's back on his wife's finger, which is why he's more than ready to put this back on Gabby's finger; and that's exactly what Matt is going to do as he made his way over to Gabby's side of the bed, as he wanted to sit next to her and put her ring back on her finger properly. "Can't say that I don't love the sight of you walking over to me in your boxers and being close to me like this."

Matt snickered as he heard Gabby say that, before looking at her. "Here, can you sit up?" Gabby looked at him, while going to try and sit up a bit; after which, she proceeded to lean back against her pillow as she got comfortable. "I think that's the best that I can do, but I'm not sure why I have to do this." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she said that, before getting close to her. "Well, here's the thing. I am going to say this, I am never going to complain about holding your hand; because I always love holding your hand." Gabby looked at her husband. "Oh god, are my hands all wrinkly and not smooth? I swear, I always did it." Lifting her hand up, Gabby went to look at it; however, that was not what Matt was saying as he proceeded to grab her hand. "Hey, take a breath and look at me." Gabby agreed with her husband as he said that, while feeling Matt move his hand to the side of her face; after which, he leaned in and proceeded to kiss her softly before kissing her cheek softly. "Baby, everything is okay. Just look into my eyes." Gabby agreed with Matt.

After which, Matt grabbed her hand and smiled. "First, I want to know this. How are your hands feeling? Are they okay? Are they feeling better?" Gabby laughed. "You mean about how sore they are?" Matt nodded. "How are they?" Gabby smiled. "They're much better, thanks for asking." Matt agreed. "Okay, good. Then how about this? Since your hand is feeling better, I now have the honor to ask you this." Going to open the box which contained her wedding ring, Matt smiled. "Gabriela Casey, will you do me the honor and putting your engagement ring and wedding band back on your finger?" Smiling as she heard Matt say that, Gabby laughed as she put her hands on his face; after which, she leaned in and kissed him softly. "I would be honored, just like I was when I said yes to you on top of the Chicago Fire Academy, and when you asked me to wear my wedding band at Molly's. But that better be the same damn ring." Matt laughed, before agreeing with Gabby. After which, he went to grab her rings so that he could put it back on her hand.

And boy did Gabby love the sight of her husband putting the wedding rings back on her hand, because it's something that she always loves the sight of; the sight of her wedding rings on her fingers, because they come from her husband with love. And the truth is, Matt loves the sight of it too as it means that they're forever. And right now, that's exactly what Matt is thinking about; how they're forever and will always be forever as he leaned in and proceeded to put his hand on her face. After which, he kissed her cheek softly. "I love you." Turning her head as she put her hand on his arm, Gabby smiled as she leaned in and proceeded to kiss the man she loves softly. "I love you too, forever." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case. "Listen, how about you let me go? I'm going to go put this little box back, and then I am going to come get in bed with you because I want you in my arms." Gabby agreed with her husband as he said that, as that's exactly what she wants him to do; she wants him to join her in bed and hold her close.

Wrapping his arm around Gabby as he grabbed her hand, Matt smiled as he looked at her hand as they both cuddled up to each other; after all, that's exactly what they both want right now. They both want to hold each other close, and just relax with each other. After all, there's nothing like this feeling; the feeling of his beautiful wife in his arms, and the two of them sitting in bed as they relax this evening. After which, Matt proceeded to play with her wedding ring. "I have to say, I really do like the sight of your ring on your finger." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before letting go of his hand; after which, she moved her hand to his chest and cuddled up to him in bed. Meanwhile, Matt grabbed the covers and tugged them up on top of the both of them; after all, that's exactly what they both wanted right now. They wanted to hold each other close under the covers. And boy was this already comfortable. "Now this is perfect." Turning her head, Gabby looked up at her husband. "Really, this is perfect?" Looking around the room, Matt smiled.

After all, he has everything that matters here in their hospital room. "Well, I don't know what more we need. We have all four of our kids, and we have Andy." And that's when Andy went ahead and jumped up onto their bed. Turning his head right afterwards, Matt smiled as he looked at Andy and put his hand on top of his head as he scratched it. "Hey buddy, you happy to be here with your brothers now?" Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, before slapping his chest, which prompted Matt to turn his head, and look down at the woman he loves. "Why did you just slap my chest?" Gabby then gave her husband a bit of side eye. "Just brothers?" Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that. "And sisters." Gabby agreed with Matt as she ran her hand down his chest, while also leaning up and proceeding to kiss her loving husband softly; at the same time, he wrapped his arm around her lower back as they held each other close. "I love you so much." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that and put her hand on the top of his chest as it's what she wants.

She wants to cuddle up to her loving husband, while also enjoying this quiet time; after which, Matt turned his head and kissed her forehead softly. He then looked down at Gabby and smirked as he felt Gabby kiss his chest softly. At the same time, Matt proceeded to kiss her forehead softly. "How soon do you think that you're going to fall asleep tonight? Or are you just wanting to cuddle up to each other for the rest of the night?" Taking a breath, Gabby sighed. "Would you be mad if I decided to just fall asleep tonight? I love you but…" Bending down, Matt proceeded to kiss the woman he loves. "You aren't going to update your journal tonight then?" Gabby took a breath and sighed. "I just had so much on my mind. Things have been so busy, and I just don't know…" Shaking his head, Matt smiled as he bent down and just kissed the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "Listen, you need to take it easy and just relax. So how about we do that? Let's relax, and maybe we can watch a movie until you fall asleep." Gabby shook her head.

Because that most certainly was not what she wanted, when she would rather just have some quiet time with her husband. "Do you think that we can do something else?" Turning his head, Matt looked down at the woman he loves as she felt her wrap her arms around his body; after which, he put his hand on her arm and smiled at her. He then bent down and smiled as he kissed the woman he loves softly. "I love you." Running her hand up Matt's chest, Gabby smiled as she felt the same way. "I love you too, and I know that this is not what we expected. You know, us being here in the hospital with all of our kids two weeks before Christmas." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, while also looking up at the man she loves. "I don't care." Smiling as he heard Gabby say that, Matt moved his hand to her butt; after which, he slipped down in bed some more so that they can hold each other close some more.

Meanwhile, Gabby wrapped her arms around Matt's torso as she cuddled up to him before moving in between his legs. After all, that's exactly what Matt wanted right now; he wanted her to be in between his legs, and he wants her to be on his bulge. Because that's really comfortable, and a real turn on; god, she is so damn sexy when she does that. "Now, that's really sexy." Gabby laughed as she heard Matt say that, before looking up at the man she loves. "Hey, I need to tease my man somehow while we're here in the hospital." Matt laughed as he heard Gabby say that, before turning his head and kissing her forehead softly; after which, he put his hand on top of hers and went to look down at the most beautiful woman in the entire world. Kissing her forehead once again, Matt smiled as he kissed her again. "So, do you still like the ring that I got for you? Or do you want another one?" Turning her head to look up at Matt, Gabby shook her head as that's the last thing that she wants. "Are you kidding me? I love this wedding ring, and always will."

Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that. "And I love you more than anything, and I am so glad that this is what we're doing right now. Just holding each other close as we cuddle up to each other in bed." Gabby agreed with her loving husband as he said that, while also feeling him press his lips on her forehead. He then bent down once again, and smiled as he took things nice and slow with the most beautiful woman in the entire world; after which, she ran her hand down his chest and just smiled due to the fact that this is all she wants right now. And how she can just be so lucky when it comes to her having such a wonderful man, she has no idea. "Did I ever tell you that I'm the luckiest woman in the entire world?" Looking down at Gabby, Matt ran his hand up and down her back. After which, he felt her lay her head down on his chest and just smiled as they both held each other close right now as he kissed her forehead.

"So, how are you feeling right now about how all this is going down?" Taking a breath, Gabby looked up at the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. "I'm doing good. And I think that we're going to make it out of this." Looking at his wife as she said that, Matt grabbed her hand and stroked it with his thumb. "Hey, I want you to look up into my eyes right now and listen to me." Gabby agreed with her husband as he said that. "Gabby, we're going to make it out of this stronger than ever; Gabby, didn't that happen last time? Baby, we made it out stronger than ever because we both knew that things would be okay. The girls are okay, the boys are okay; and you're okay. That's all that matters at the end of the day, that we all make it out of the hospital and go home." Gabby agreed with Matt as she said that, before laying her head down and cuddling up to him; after which, he rubbed her back.

"So, what are you thinking about right now?" Gabby smiled. "Just how comfortable I am here in your arms, as we cuddle up to each other in bed. And there's nothing better than the feeling of you cuddling up to me and laying down in my arms; and I especially love the feeling of you wrapping your arms around me, and just holding me close." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she said that, before kissing her forehead softly; before smirking as he wrapped his arms around her waist. "So, what are we going to do tomorrow?" Turning her head, Gabby smiled as she looked at Matt. "What do you say we try and talk to someone, and see whether we can get some pictures with the boys? Christmas pictures with the boys and maybe even the girls to send out to our friends?" Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, as that most certainly is something that he loves the idea of. "Oh, I love that idea." Gabby smiled.

Running her finger down Matt's chest, Gabby smirked as she proceeded to kiss his chest softly; and boy, is that a nice feeling. After which, Matt moved his hand to her arm. Turning his head once more, Matt kissed her forehead before going to look at the lamp; he then went to shut it off so that he and Gabby can fall asleep. After which, he slipped down in bed some more and wrapped his arm around her back; putting his hand on top of hers afterwards, Matt smiled as he stroked her hand and just cuddled up to her tonight. Turning his head, Matt pressed his lips to Gabby's forehead once more. "I love you Gabby." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that he loves her, before smiling. "I love you too Matt, forever." Cuddling up to her man some more, Gabby just smiled as they fell asleep.
